when I find a brilliant, jaw dropping, amazing x reader fic but suddenly I’ve been given a first name, last name, hair colour and eye colour

why it is that when people are writing a fic for a certain character they add tags for different characters. Like if it’s a fic for Tom riddle x reader, they add tags for Malloy x reader or Harry x reader, EVEN X OC. SOMETIMES EVEN CHARACTERS THAT ARENT EVEN IN THE SAME SHOW/MOVIE/COMIC.

Also, if it’s a poly fic, you shouldn’t be adding regular tags like the ones I said earlier. You should only be adding ones like this for example:

Poly!maruaders x reader OR Remus x Sirius x James x reader.

NOT!!! Each character with the reader or oc.

Adding other characters in this way in the tags, from what I’ve seen, was never a thing until around just last year.

LIKE YALL PLEASE STOP ADDING TAGS THAT ARENT PART OF THAT SPECIFIC FIC.

• He will often carry his bell around so it doesn’t get tangled with his tail, since he can’t lift his tail and it simply drags behind him.

• Their favorite food is almond Hershey bars!

• He isn’t cold, he’s just anxiety ridden by default and has uncontrollable shakies-

• He can and he will sleep anywhere. Anywhere..

• He has little sense of self preservation and will try to “taste test” things if they appear edible enough. (He’s still intelligent, he’s just impulsive..)

• They enjoys listening to songs similar to those made my Øneheart! And thunderstorm/rain sounds. But he hates big & real thunderstorms.

“I’ve been here for a while. You had no injuries, you know, because I chose not to fight back. But now you’re here after a couple days. Why is that?”

“My guardian visited. You know that.”

“Right… mine did too. So what about it? Did you get beat up too? My guardian gave me more bruises than you did. It’s almost like they’re twins, your guardian and mine. They’re very similar. Is that how you got that blood on your face? That bandage on your arm… I suspect that’s how that big, big stain got on your head, isn’t it?”

“That’s not… You’re wrong.”

“Don’t act like that. You know I’m right. Your guardian must have changed your shirt for you after it happened. But it looks like it still got a bit dirty… how sad.”

“Shut up. Seriously, I can’t believe they put me in a room with you and not Nene or something. I could probably deal with her dumb childishness, but you’re just a creepy ass—“

“It wasn’t, like, supposed to be weird. Or sexy. Or something else, it was just— I was helping him.”

“Helping him what? Get off? He was lying on you, making direct eye contact, with your fingers in his mouth.”

“I was trying to see if he could taste me.”

“And you’re saying that as if it makes your situation any better.”

“No! I’m being serious. You know how he can’t taste anything. I wanted to see if… maybe it was only foods he couldn’t taste. I’ve been testing this for a while. He can eat soil, grass, paper, and a bunch of other things without tasting them. But… there was something I hadn’t tried getting him to eat yet.”

“…”

“Me. Well, not me, but humans. I didn’t want to go off and kill someone so I just… I told him that we should just hide somewhere during the day and he could try, maybe, biting me hard enough to draw blood to find out if he could taste it.”

“Could he?”

“Yes.”

“What a freak.”

“Sirius.”

“What? I’m stating a fact.”

“You’re a bitch.”

[030219 laughs. Hard.] [A loud slam is heard resonating in the room, most likely 010103 banging his hand on his bedside table.]

[He was wrapped in a worn blanket, still in good condition but it looked like it once use to be a brighter color than what it is now. Well loved.]

[The outside was stormy, the thunder roaring and the rain cascading.]

[Sirius hugged his knees, covered in a pair of pink pajamas, a shark pattern displayed throughout it… his tail was dimly glowing and wrapped around his legs.]

[Here he sat, afraid of the raging storm outside and flinching at each flash of lighting and crash of thunder.]
