every now and then I think about Harvey Dent and how he was one of the few people Bruce could be close to his genuine self with. not excusing his intelligence, not trying to hide his dreams, his passion for making Gotham a better place. a passion Harvey shared. and to have that be ripped away when he needed it most as Batman, as a mask of a mask? their dynamic and what could have been makes me insane.

helloooo dc tumblr, im not a very big writer but after watched Pride and Prejudice i got a Jayroy fic idea so here is the basic summary ;))

“Jason Peter Todd-Wayne, scond eldest adopted son of the Duke Bruce Wayne, lives in the Ton Gotham in london with the rest of his adopted siblings. the oh so ‘problematic’ man seemed to have no prospects of marriage until he met Lady Artemis Migh, daughter of a Greek Viscount. he got to advance in society and got to hide her affairs with one Diana Prince. His plans however get complicated when his childhood best friend, Roy Harper, comes back from America and awaken those deep desires in Jason Again.”

it would also be very loosely inspired by the universe of Bridgerton where POC can have titles, money, etc. but theres still era ‘appropriate’ homophobia so lots of angst.

short thing i wrote for this piece:

jayroy coming home to their shared apartment post vigilante mission. They get cleaned, eat a meal and Jason immediately falls asleep like a rock. Roy looks over to admire the man who he loves. Roy thinks to himself how much of a lucky bastard he must be for Jason to trust him enough to sleep almost nude on him, chest pressed against him, even little noises.

All the meanwhile Jason, minutes before falling asleep, counted the other mans heart beat and fell asleep to the sound of it. greatful he has one person he can trust.
