My thoughts on the Playbill Character bios (Part 1):

Was gonna share my theory on Alastor's powers but since SOMETHING possibly leaked and put my theories and thoughts into question I'm putting it on hold for a bit.

Not gonna talk about each character because I don't have something to say for each one.

-Charlie: So THIS is how we find out she has mommy AND daddy issues. Good to know, good to know.

-Alastor: Either writing on a typewriter, glitched the writing somehow, left the caps lock on, or was screaming the entire interview. All fitting to his character. Also, glad to know my joke headcanon that his broadcasts in hell aren't really that scheduled and are whenever. Also he picks people who "wrong him" first to be his 'Guests' genuinely thought those could just be either random demons or ONLY Overlords. And of course, the dude is actively encouraging violence so he can have fun and ends his thing with a smile. :)

-Vaggie: So...Do all the exorcists have training for synchronized dancing? Would explain them doing that during Adam's song in Ep.1. But I'm curious if it's connected to why Vaggie is apparently the best dancer in the hotel or she just naturally is good at it.

-Husk: Why 'Husker'??? I thought it was just a random nickname Alastor made, is that his legit demon name and EVERYONE just shortens it? Also grouchy dude is grouchy. Little disappointed we didn't get another cool lore bomb from him.

-Sir Pentious: FINALLY AN ANSWER TO MY QUESTION!!! The dude is technically not an Overlord. Just wanted to be one or was just beginner level (little sad since he's been around before many of the actual other overlords, but makes sense. He's too nice for his own good). Worked for Carmilla and Vox, explaining why her daughters personally delivered him equipment (he's a former employee so they know it's safe to go in-person) AND why Vox knew of him enough to know he would do anything to join the Vees. I don't believe he made the Egg Boiz himself for the same reason I don't believe Vox beat Alastor in a fight. If it happened, you wouldn't repeat in emphasis. So for people who wanted Pent to have a past partnership with Baxter this is good evidence of that.

-Lucifer: "I miss my wife tails, I miss her so much". I would love to see him and the Sins actually perform on screen. Maybe for Sinsmas episode??? Please.

More thoughts about "Mastermind", etc: 1) When you look at the "most viewed" part of a Youtube video it's almost always a sexy moment. But this time I think we all know _exactly_ what the most viewed moment is. Bryce and Brandon were born for these roles and Sam Haft is a fucking genius.

2) (looks up this Patrick Page guy) No wonder everyone swooned over Hadestown! The vocal talent in these shows is ridiculous.

3) Oh. As @hina-has-no-life pointed out, Blitz isn't being hailed as a hero because he survived the trial. It's because Satan livestreamed the whole thing, being too lazy and contemptuous to even think about editing, and all of Hell has now seen Blitz _successfully_ argue with Satan himself to defend his employees, to speak out for all imp-kind who are just "doing their jobs", and to use his final words to shout defiance at the unfair system. That's gotta be unheard of. It probably won't last, but for the moment, kid Blitzo has achieved his dream. He is the most famous imp ever.

4) We've seen Stolas gleefully tackle a huge pile of paperwork in "Oops". And in "Ghostfuckers", we saw Moxxie despairing over an even bigger pile. Was this all setup for Stolas's new career at IMP? 5) Prediction: It won't be until bedtime the next night that Stolas realizes Blitz doesn't have a bedroom. And he's just too tall for that sofa. He needs his own place, but how could he possibly afford one?

6) Prediction: Loona and Millie will each find a quiet moment to deliver a shovel talk to Stolas. Moxxie will be too busy showing Stolas the ropes and being so relieved to have someone competent to shove the accounting off on. But when Stolas asks in bewilderment how the finances got so bad, Moxxie will point at a downward-trending graph and say "See that? That's when you two broke up." 7) Hope for the future: someday Moxxie, Stolas and Vassago will go see musicals together while Blitz and Millie hang out and shoot pool (and the occasional bystander). Everyone will be happy with this arrangement. 8) Barbie saw that broadcast. So did Cash. So did Paimon. All of them will show up in S3. 9) Wait, Stolas began studying the grimoire to do his job as a young kid. We don't actually know what his job _is_, other than "finding prophecies", but Andrealphus won't have clue one about how to do it. Will he make Via do it for him? Will Paimon show up to tell him he's an incompetent asshat and take it away? Or will Stolas regain his position before it matters? 10) I still want to know about the legions! Is there literally an army division somewhere twiddling its thumbs waiting for a war? Does Stolas mentor officers and run war games? Or is this, like, a metaphorical sort of legions? Eldritch beings summoned from the void? It would be hilarious if Andrealphus visited "his" new legions and it's just three bored shark demons and an imp sitting around reading comic books. 11) I'm throwing my hat in the ring and betting that Stolas and Blitz will be a couple by Sinsmas morning. Of course it would be "sensible" for them to take time to work on their own stuff, but neither of them strikes me as that kind of person. Plus I'm sure Stolas has thought about how brief imp lifespans are compared to his own, and what a dangerous career Blitz has even by demon standards. What use is being sensible if it means giving up the limited time you have with the person you love? Also, I really thought Loona's antagonistic relationship with Moxxie and general feeling of inferiority was being built up as a significant part of her character arc, that she and M&M would have to work things out and come to a position of mutual respect. But "Ghostfuckers" showed them making progress in that direction, without anything needing to be said. That's not a criticism - but it did remind me that a show's creators aren't always going to make the same choices we would, or give things the same weight we would. If Stolitz mostly reaches their happy ending next episode, that doesn't make the story weak or problematic or whatever. It just means Viv and Brandon think they have reached a good place with each other, and it's time for the show to focus on other things for S3.

Anyone else suspect that Sinsmas has set up Andres fall by showing he’s not as smart as he thinks. He’s only smarter than Stella(let that sink in).

-He never came up with an idea it accidentally landed in his lap after months of being unable to think of anything.

-The plan only worked based on dumb luck with Stolas accidentally seeing the broadcast at the right time.

-He has already made an enemy of Vassago who clearly suspects he manipulated everything and is a powerful friend of Stolas atleast.

- He only has power till Via comes of age and he has wasted no time in alienating her.

- He has non experience with people who actually fight back and I can only imagine what will happen when Stolas gets his magic back. He is weaker then Via who hasn’t been fully trained properly.

-Biggest one of all is he hasn’t thought of what will happen when his manipulation of the system comes to light. There’s no indication he has killed striker and if he talks revealing perjury what will happen when Satan learns he was used like a tool.👿

I often think about Adrealphus' plan involving Stolas seeing the broadcast and immediately jumping into action.

Though, I do argue that makes him more dangerously unhinged. He was 100% prepared to put an imp's life on the line, because even if Stolas didn't show up, that life lost wouldn't have mattered to him and he'd just have to figure out another plan.

Considering how upset he was when he learned Stolas "only" got banished for 100 years and Via will be coming off age within the year, it does show he has plans or at least intentions to make sure it never gets passed down to her. Main question is, how he's gonna do it... either way I'm scared for my girl!

The Stolas vs Andrealphus fight is interesting, because you can tell Stolas was able to get some punches in, because Andrealphus didn't expect Stolas to fight back, BUT also if they were to do a fist fight without magic, Stolas could so easily beat his ass.

The only reason Andrealphus was able to fight back and gain the upper hand for a moment, is because he had powers and Stolas didn't, and even then still struggled against powerless imps (I'd also argue this comes down to them having something worth fighting for, power of love trope my beloved!)

But yeah, Octavia easily taking Andrealphus down, showing she'd still defend Stolas even when angry at him, definitely put her on his target list even more. Please, get my girl outta there!

Silly Helluva Boss Rant/Critic

NOTE: I Am NOT A Professional Writer, This Is My OPINION On Season 2. If Opinions Trigger You, Dont Read.

i have so much to say about this stupid show oh my gosh where do i even start?

honestly i just miss the older episodes of the show, like season 1, when it was just silly demon comedy and viv wasnt trying to add depth to the characters. even though originally i liked the idea of more depth in the show when episode 7 happened. but clearly viv doesnt know how to write characters. blitz(obviously cuz hes the main character) and verosika(somehow) are the only half decent characters imo. but thats not saying much

i love the shorts though. they feel like mini season 1 episodes.

in episode 7, it introduced a conflict between stolas and blitz. but then it put it off the ENTIRE SEASON til full moon which was 8 episodes. and in those 8 episodes, blitz and stolas just acted like nothing happened?? no mention of it at all?

and full moon was hyped up so much for what? there was like 5 minutes of actual stolitz. the entire episode was basically about the cherubs, agents, and blitz buying sex toys.

and all the conflict is so fucking forced. all these fucks need to do is communicate omg. like in full moon , if stolas let blitz talk to him at the end, we'd be done. blitz clearly has a hard time opening up and being vunerable but he was about to actually talk with stolas BUT NO stolas teleports him outside so they can stretch it on a couple more episodes! and then in sinsmas when stolas and octavia are fighting if octavia just listened, it would be over. but of course, we still need more drama even though the show was better WITHOUT it.

mastermind wasnt all that good tbh. i feel like it needed more time. and the fake out deaths bored me. viv already confirmed that the end of season 1 would have canon stolitz so obviously they werent gonna kill blitz or stolas. but andrealphus' plan made no sense. like, it completely depended on stolas watching tv at the exact time the broadcast happened and there being no live delay. comedy was actually pretty good though. and the stolas poor arc seems fun.

and the only slightly good that came out of the stolitz mess was ghostfuckers(aka the millie episode) cuz blitz was sad abt stolas. but im very glad we got that because i started watching around like episode 2 release(which means i waited 4 YEARS) and i always really liked millie(i love strong women) and im actually quite happy with it even if blitz was still technically in the spotlight more. but also shes pregnant. wow. but i feel like the show needed something like that. because i doubt they can stretch the octavia and stolas shit a whole seasons length. so their gonna need something else to bring drama because they love drama.

and unhappy campers. i fucking hate unhappy campers. it baited everyone into thinking it was the millie episode. but she says like two lines that mean something for her character. and moxie felt so ooc too. it was so unfunny. i watched it straight faced. season 2 hasnt been focused on comedy as much as before and its obvious. but usually i at least let out a small chuckle once or twice. BUT NOT THIS EPISODE. and the barbie wire stuff felt shoved in. it literally came out of nowhere. it was just such a shit episode entirely.

fucking stolas used to be my favorite character but all the self-victimizing shit was so annoying especially in apology tour. he said blitz made him uncomfortable but what about all the times he made others umcomfortable? like in harvest moon, when he called blitz blitzy in front of everyone and blitz is clearly embarrassed?? and when he started talking about blitz' dick IN FRONT OF HIS DAUGHTER??? stop acting like a victim, stolas. you arent. i think maybe he got a little better in sinsmas but barely. and this isnt story related, but stolas' voice actor has such a good vocal range?? like the apology tour song blew me away. i love his voice so much.

oh my god, dont get me started on how viv treats octavia.. i used to love octavia and still kinda do... but now theres 3 episodes of just her being mad at her father and its getting REALLY repetitive. and yea, she does have the right to be mad at him because stolas sacrificed himself for blitz, thinking he would die(even if he didnt) which probably hurt her a lot. but i was hoping sinsmas would show us more of her as a person, like her hobbies(ig they showed her singing but so does everyone else in the show soo), her interests, literally anything about her but her being mad at stolas. i was hoping we'd finally see how her and stella feel about eachother. but no. they talked once but could you even call it talking cuz all stella did was take her phone while laughing and octavia didnt say anything. she was clearly annoyed with her mother but that doesnt really give us a dynamic. and also in stolas and vias argument at the end of sinsmas, it felt like she was purposely taking everything he said the wrong way just for more drama. especially about the happy pills thing. stolas said she was the only good thing in his life so she then says shes an obligation. LIKE NO, hes saying he cares. which yea, he might kinda be bad dad but he does try his hardest and she could at least acknowledge that but still be disappointed.

and stella. i was hoping they would end up doing something with her like giving her a back story that made her so bitchy or something. but then the first ep of season 2 turns her into just a villian. she was just born evil apparently because that totally happens. shes literally nothing but a plot device. and im not against plot devices if they actually do their job. like isha from arcane for example, shes a plot device for jinx development but she actually does her job. shes interesting enough and gives you all you need from a plot device. but stella literally just leaves you wanting more. shes barely a character. we know nothing about her. all she does is start more meaningless drama. shes not even likable as a villain.

now, verosika(AKA best character). shes actually kind of well written? i wish we had more of her this season but also dont because they probably wouldve ruined her too. she only had a 5 minute convo with blitz in apology tour but it made me love her so much more. and her trying to help others after blitz hurt them like he hurt her is so sweet. and then her giving blitz cake, acknowedgling he hates himself just as much as everyone else at this party. i love her sm bro. unrelated but her design is so nice. and she looks so good in all her outfits. loved her fit in the 1 second of screentime she had in mastermind. and i immdediatley recognized her voice in the chrsitmas party song and got so happy

also on the official yt video for the verosika song, the second comment said "I guess Blitzo finally enjoys her music now after, I can imagine, years of it tormenting him with guilt and regret" and i would like to agree with that statement.

i think thats all my criticism. so uh.. bye

Thoughts on Mastermind

(So yeah spoilers ahead)

So after letting my thoughts on the episode settle a bit and giving myself time to analyze, I have a LOT to say.

So first of all… yeah I think this is officially my new favorite Helluva episode.

I think this episode was pretty well paced (a little fast, but there was a LOT to cover) and also did a surprisingly good job at balancing the drama and humor. Also obviously ADORED the IMP found family showcased in this episode, they were entertaining in the first scene, and heart wrenching at the court.

Now for a bit more analysis, the way they handled the writing was REALLY interesting here. While first watching the episode, I was a little confused about Andrealphus’s plan, but after thinking about it… it’s scarily clever.

He knows that Stolas is smart in his own right, if he straight up brought him to court, he’d find a good way to argue. He knows how to work this type of stuff as shown in Oops. But if they brought in only Blitzø, they knew Stolas wouldn’t see until the broadcasted execution. He would have no time to form a concrete rational plan, Andre wants him to either act irrationally, or make himself look like a fool and incompetent. No one knows exactly what he’ll do, but Andre is giving Stolas as little time as possible to think it out. The hope is that he acts as irrationally as he has before.

And even if Stolas didn’t come, Andre purposely tries to make Stolas seem weak and somewhat helpless, incompetent. All the while he makes himself look an almost better version of our favorite bird. His backup plan is to make Stolas look incompetent and vulnerable, while it may be less immediate, with Stolas’s already somewhat declining reputation, this would make it easier for him to take Stolas’s title.

And despite being EXTREMELY irrational, Stolas did a pretty good job with his plan in my opinion. First of all, he brought ALL the theater kid energy in the song (which was an absolute banger by the way, I don’t care how cheesy the Stolitz part was I LOVE CHEESY) and did a great job playing the part. To me, this is proof that he had finally started to realize the classism. This is the type of part you can only play by understanding it even if you don’t necessarily believe it. He plays up the the classism and distaste for imps, he uses the fact that the other royals see them as useless and incompetent. And honestly, I think it was smart of him to be so vague in the song. Once again, he didn’t have a lot of time to think this through, and he somewhat used this to his advantage. Being vague added an air of mystery and made it seem like more of an unpredictable threat. He’s building up the fact that this mastermind has a dangerous plan, something possibly having to do with taking over the mortal realm. And then when he reveals himself to be the “mastermind”? Well of course he wouldn’t expose any of his “future plans”, Stolas is playing as someone who just wants the recognition and to be feared. Someone arrogant, feeling offended that an imp was getting the credit for his crimes. Claiming he has more planed while not naming those plans makes him a threat and will draw away almost any blame from Blitzø.

And of course this plan is impulsive, but he barely has any time to plan. He arrives right before the axe is about to come down on his lover’s neck. His only goal right now is making sure Blitzø stays alive. In the song he even acknowledges how impulsive it is to throw everything away for this idiot he is still frankly mad at. But he’s learned he can choose his fate, and that’s exactly what he’s doing.

And of course I ADORED the Stolitz in this episode, they were both so perfectly dramatic and the absolute SOFTNESS in the last scene had me making absolute demonic and feral noises. But, despite this somewhat being a closure to the season 2 Stolitz drama (however we do still have Sinsmas) I’m happy they’re still leaving room for more angst even with them now being able to properly blossom. This episode did an EXCELLENT job at showcasing the classism via the unfairness of the court case, so it feels fitting that at the end the power dynamic almost switches. Blitzø is now a celebrity amongst imps and lower class demons, while Stolas essentially lost everything, including his daughter. And while I definitely think this is setting up for angst in at least the next episode (in which I very much think they’re going to go and try to save Octavia from her bitchy mother), this power dynamic is going to feel different, because while there is still somewhat a power dynamic now, there is also a much larger level of understanding between the two of them. They now feel more capable of facing this together, there is less doubt of feelings. I’m REALLY excited to see how they handle this, and yes I also am an absolute sucker for hurt/comfort.

Those are most of my major thoughts in this episode. I loved every single part of this beautifully dramatic episode (yeah I expectantly loved Vassago) but most of the other things I would bring up have already been said. Plus this post is too long so yeah that’s it for now.

Fallen Stone: Alone in Hell

The TV is turned on, showing the opening logo for 666 News as the music rolls in. The screen fades into a broadcast recording of Katie Killjoy and Tom Trench sitting in their seats. 

“Good morning, Pentagram City!” Katie announced, wearing a fake smile. “Katie Killjoy here!” 

“And Tom Trench!!” Tom chimed in. 

“Nobody gives a fuck, Tom!” Katie then shoved Tom off the camera, continuing on. “It has been a month since Extermination Day was canceled, thanks to Hell’s princess, Charlie Morningstar!!” A clip shows Charlie and the others fighting the exorcist angels with angelic weapons. “She and those fuckers living in that shitty hotel have pushed the angels back, and the results lead to the cancellation.” 

Tom gets back in his seat, dusting his suit. “Let me tell you, that battle was a doozy!” He nodded, facing the camera. “While the others have successfully recovered their hotel after the loss of their fellow sucker, Sir Pentious.” An image of Pentious’s picture appeared on the screen, but it was only a picture of him beaten up after a fight with Cherri Bomb. “The princess said they will be opening for newcomers next week,” Tom added. 

“Geez. I wonder who are the sorry fuckers to fall for it.” Katie cackled cruelly. “But it seems that Heaven is not so happy with their killing spree, pausing as this early morning, our reporter, Catherine Canrel, has witnessed something very unusual,” Katie revealed. “You’re on, Cat.” 

The screen changed, and a pink and purple cat sinner was recorded standing on the street while holding a mic. “Thank you, Katie!” Catherine nodded, smiling a fake smile. “While the sinners and demons were just waking up, witnesses caught sight of a portal leading to Heaven opening, and something came out of it.” 

The screen changed to a recorded video of a figure falling from the portal and disappearing between the buildings. “It didn’t look like an exorcist, nor did it have any features of a normal angel,” Catherine revealed. 

A sinner in the form of a lizard talked to the mic. “It’s not like the angels I saw in film or series.” He explained. “Way too fucking short.” 

A hellhound stands with his arms crossed. “The smell was like winter pine and peppermint Frappuccino?” He sounds questionable. He shook his head. “Too damn early for Sinsmas.” He snarled. 

“I want to give that angel a good fuck.” A fish sinner snickered. 

Then, the screen goes back to Catherine. “And now, since the fall of Hell’s own fallen king, a fallen angel has arrived in Hell.” She broadcasted, glaring at the camera. “Who are they? Friend or Foe? Who knows? But one thing is for sure: we are in for a blizzard.” Then, the screen was on pause. 

The hotel residents, Angel Dust, Husk, Niffty, and Vaggie, watched the news, Vaggie holding the remote in her hands. When Vaggie told everyone but Charlie about the portal she spotted this morning, they thought she had gone crazy. But seeing the news seemed to prove quite the opposite. Angel, Husk, and Niffty are all flabbergasted while Vaggie inhales through her closed lips.

“Oh shit…” Angel mumbled, eyes widening. 

“I knew it!!” Vaggie shouted, pointing at the TV. “I knew I didn’t imagine it!!” 

Husk grunted, rolling his eyes. “Yeah. We all saw it.” He grumbled. “Not fucking blind or anything.” He huffed out. “But guess someday angels will fall out of Heaven.”

Angel turned his body around, facing Vaggie as he leaned against the back of the couch, folding his arms together. “Hey. Do you think that Angel is like your friend or something? You know, on the count, you are an angel?” He questioned her with a wave of his upper hand.

Vaggie rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. “I don’t have a lot of friends back in Heaven," she answered. “Due to the rules of being an exorcist, I wasn’t allowed to reveal myself to regular angels.” Then, her only eye softened as she stared at the TV. “But whoever landed here must have really pissed them off.”

“Really pissed them off.” Husk agreed. The other two nodded, agreeing with the two.

Just then, “Good morning!!” Charlie greeted them with a warm smile and open arms spread wide. “How are we going today?!" she asked them. She seemed to have been in a happier mood since last month and was not upset over the death of their fellow friend, Pentious.

Before Vaggie could reply to her girlfriend, Angel answered first. “Oh, just talking about the news. Something big is happening.” He replied.

Charlie blinked, tilting her head to the right. “What sort of news?” She asked, curious.

Suddenly, the three went silent. They didn’t want to tell Charlie about the new fallen angel after dealing with Heaven last month and still grieving over the loss of their friend. The last thing they needed was Charlie getting roped into another Heaven situation. Vaggie glared at Angel for mentioning what they saw, as Angel looked after, uncaring. Husk just rolled his eyes and looked away with his arms crossed.

But Niffty stepped in. “There is an angel here!” She spoke.

Charlie nodded with a smile. “Yes. I know, Vaggie is one.” She acknowledged, motioning to Vaggie, who blinked in surprise.

“No, no!” Niffty shook her head. “Another angel!”

“Another angel?” Charlie repeated the last sentence. She became confused. Another angel? Since when did Hell have another angel, when the only angels in Hell are Vaggie and Lucifer?

Not wanting to prolong the confusing game, Husk snatches the remote from Vaggie's hand. “What the fuck!?” He ignored Vaggie’s shout and used the remote to rewind the TV till he reached the part of Catherine.

“And now, since the fall of Hell’s own fallen king, a fallen angel has arrived in Hell.” Catherine broadcasted, glaring at the camera. 

Hearing this, Charlie froze in her spot, and her breath was frozen. An angel from Heaven has fallen and is now in Hell, the worst place for a divine being to live. What did they do to get themselves banished? And most importantly, who were they? It could be another exorcist like Vaggie or an angel who just got caught. Or it could be a seraphim that decided to stand against the extermination. She didn’t want to think about the last concern.

“What?” She whispered. Then she turned to Vaggie. “D-Do you think it might be Emily?” She asked. She started to get worried that the one who had fallen was Emily after seeing her standing up against her sister and questioning the extermination. 

“Not sure,” Vaggie answered. She faced the TV. “She couldn’t have gone this far to put herself in danger. It must be someone that could have gotten really close.” She added.  

“Can you, you know, ask your dad about who it is?” Angel suggested to Charlie. 

“Dad isn’t very open to angels like he used to be,” Charlie replied. She knows her father isn’t very close to the angels in Heaven during his time there. “And I can’t bother him now, not when he is on a business trip to Wrath Ring.”  

“Well.” Vaggie huffed out. “Guess we must go out there and find our new arrival.” Knowing Hell, the sinners and demons will tear that angel apart. 

Angel groaned, flopping on the couch and lying down. Great, a hunt that will take days to find in a colossal city. He has his arms crossed, pouting. Then he looks around, noticing something that is missing. He pulls himself up. “Hey. Has anyone seen Smiles?” He asked.

“Alastor?” Charlie blinked. She shook her head. “Not since yesterday. He said he is going to get more venison.” She answered. It has been a day since she last saw him, and she hasn’t heard back since he returned from a long month's absence.

Husk groaned, rubbing his face. That’s Alastor to them. “Why should I care where he is? He can do whatever he fucking wants.” He grumbled. Then he gets up from the couch. “For now, we should focus more on finding that angel before any fuckers get to them first.”

Shilo’s eyes blinked, her vision blurry as it cleared up. Her sight focuses on the sky, red as blood, and she sees the pentagram symbol in the sky and the city of Heaven, far away from her. She let out a groan, raising her hand to rub her forehead. The last thing she remembered was falling into the portal and falling from the sky, then all went black. 

She tried to get up, only to feel a shot of pain all over her body. She winced, and another shot of pain entered her body. She then felt a shiver around her as she let out a shiver and wrapped her arms around her; her body felt so cold and icy. It was so strange to her; she never got cold enough to let out a shiver. She is so comfortable when it’s cold; now, she is uncomfortable. During this, she managed to sit straight, fighting back the pain. Her breath let out a soft fog as if the air around her was below twenty. 

Her hands let go of her arms and pulled away. She looked at her hands, dark blue as if she had gotten frostbite. Her fingernails have a light blue color. The sleeves of her blouse have ice around them and are staining them. She turned her hands around, checking them. Her hands felt cold and icy as if a harsh blizzard were inside her. 

“W-What is Heaven’s name?” She whispered; another breath of fog left her lips as she spoke. 

She looks around the area where she has landed—an empty alley between two buildings—but the color around her is different. It is deep red, unlike Heaven's soft blue and gold colors. Till she noticed something, the alley was covered in frost and ice. Looking down at where she is sitting, a massive patch of frost and ice is under her. 

“Oh god…” She mumbled. Did she do that? She knew the landing was terrible, but to release a massive patch of frost and ice was new to her. She can only deal with snow and frost; ice was never part of her powers. 

She then started to stand up, and her legs felt so wobbly. She let out a sheer gasp, and another shot of pain came from the stomach. She reaches out to her stomach as if it would stop the pain. Only to pull it away and check her hand, as it is covered in her golden blood. She gasped in horror; she was bleeding badly. She needs to find help before she starts bleeding to death. 

She walked out of the alley, her legs wobbling with each step. She placed her hand against the building walls, supporting her so she wouldn’t trip and fall. She held on to her bleeding stomach. Only to stop by a window, turn around, and let out a startling gasp. 

Her reflection shows herself; she only looks far different from her angelic self. Her skin, which used to be soft and light, is now deadly pale like death. The freckles on her face and body gone pale like her skin. Her feet are dark blue, and her pants are covered in ice, like her hands. On her head are a pair of dark blue ram horns with ice tips on the ends; her head bleeds gold around the horns like they burst out and break her skin. Her once soft blue eyes changed. The sclera in her eyes is dark blue, while her pupils have two colors, icy blue and white. Around her eyes are ice crack marks. She looks inside her mouth; her teeth have grown fangs. Behind her is a long black tail with spikes on the base, and the end has a diamond-shaped tip with a blue diamond shape inside and two spikes on the end, making it look like a snowflake. Her blouse and vest is covered in golden blood, staining it and a large tear through it, ruining her blouse and vest.

She touched the window, and the glass formed frost upon her touch. She panted hard, and more fog left her mouth. Her hand reached up, barely touching her new horns. Her hands felt shaky, taking in her newly formed self. “W-W-What am I…?” She whispered. Then she remembered she had lost her home and her angelic rank. “No… No!!”

She backed away from the window, panting heavily, and her anxiety clouded her mind. She is in Hell, the one place she tried hard to never go to. She failed to notice a shark demon behind her and bumped into them. 

“Hey!” The shark demon barked at her. “Watch it, you bitch!!” 

Shilo gasped, backing away. “Oh my god! I am so sorry!” She apologized. 

The shark demon approaches her, glaring at her. “What the fuck do you want?!” He questioned her. 

“I-I-I..” Shilo stammered, not sure what to say. The demons here don’t take kindly to gestures like hers. 

“Spit it out!!” The demon shouted. Then grabbed her wrist. 

But once his hand touched her bare skin, it slowly froze. As it froze, his arm and his torso froze. Then, his whole body was frozen in a thick layer of ice. He is frozen solid. 

Shilo gasped in horror. Seeing what she had done, she backed away, her hands covering her mouth. “Oh god!! What is happening to me!?” She panicked. She never uses her powers to harm a soul; it is like her powers are turning against her. 

Then she noticed the demons and sinners around her as they backed away. They whispered to each other, most likely judging her, as they had never seen anyone like her. 

Shilo started to get scared. Sensing her fear, the road formed a massive patch of ice, frost, and ice spikes that emerged from the frozen ground. She gasped; it was so very new to her. 

The demons and sinners all backed away in fright. 

“Please... don’t be afraid.” Shilo tried to explain to them that she didn’t want to harm them, not like the exorcist angels. “I’m not going to hurt you—" Then, from her hand, a blast of ice shot and hit a sinner, freezing them in ice. 

That caused a panic in the street. Everyone screamed and ran away from her, not wanting to get frozen like the two souls.  

“What the fuck is that?!!” A cat demon screamed. 

“It’s a monster!!” A hellhound shouted. 

“Monster!!” A lizard sinner screamed. 

Shilo backed away, frightened and panicking. She didn’t understand what was happening to her or why her powers had changed. More ice and frost froze the streets till they froze the buildings. Out of instinct, she turned and ran away, leaving behind a trail of ice and frost. She would occasionally bump into demons and sinners, freezing them at first touch. Some managed to get away as they fled in fear of her. 

Meanwhile, while the sinners and demons are in hiding, the ice stands firm, unmelting, letting out a soft fog of cold. A very familiar pair of feet stands against the ice, as does a cane. The cane is lifted up and tapped against the ice as if testing how solid it is. The figure followed the icy trail, sure it would lead them to the culprit.

The figure walked close to the ice, a smile formed in a large grin. “Rattle big black bones in the danger zone.” Then, they started singing while following the trail. “There’s a rumbling groan down below.” The sinners all peek in from their hiding spot, only to return to hiding. “There’s a big dark town. It’s a place I’ve found. There’s a world going on underground.” 

During, Shilo kept running away, unsure where to go. A few sinners and demons froze when she bumped into them by a mere touch of her skin. She stares in horror at her actions. She runs faster, wanting to escape them before she freezes more. 

“They’re alive; they’re awake.” The figure kept singing, continuing to follow the trail. “While the rest of the world is asleep.” They chuckled, almost evil-like. “Below the mine shaft roads, it will all unfold. There’s a world going on underground.”

“Someone report this to the overlord!!” A goat demon shouted, running away to an empty shop. 

“There is an ice monster in Hell!!” An imp with a black-and-white-striped horn yelled, hiding behind a car.

Shilo covered her ears as if she were a scared child. She then ran inside an empty alley. The alley became covered in ice and frost, and she backed away to a corner. She panted heavily, letting out more fog. She sat on the frozen ground, her eyes forming tears. She was scared and confused. Here she was, alone in a world she never knew, and changes were happening that she couldn’t control.  

As she cried, she spotted a figure at the end of the alley. Then, they begin to approach her. She can feel her panicked mind telling her to run away. 

“All the roots hang down, swing from town to town.” The figure resumes singing. “They are marching around down under your boots.” The figure gets closer to her. “All the trucks unload beyond the gopher holes.”

Then they stopped before her. Before Shilo stood Alastor, the radio demon and hotel manager. His smile was permanent as he stared at her. He held his mic cane in his hand, his head tilted to the right. 

Shilo tried to back away from him, but she was firmly pressed against a frozen-covered wall. She is trapped. 

“No need to be frightened,” Alastor assured her; his static radio voice was heard. “I won’t hurt an angel like you.” 

Shilo blinked, facing him in surprise. “You... you know I’m... or... was an angel?” She asked him. 

“Of course. Everyone is talking about how an angel fell from heaven, and I never saw you before.” He explained, not taking his eyes off her. “So you must be the angel the news was blabbing about.” He tapped his cane against her head, making her flinch. 

She rubbed her head, careful to not touch her ram horns. “W-W-What do you want?” She questioned him. 

“Why to help you,” Alastor answered. “I can’t let an angel like you wander around this hellhole without proper help and guidance.” He placed his cane down on the frozen ground. “And besides, Charlie would be delighted to meet you.” 

Shilo gasped softly. He must be friends with Charlie if he comes to find her and brings her to her hotel. “Charlie? Do you know her?” she asked him, her curiosity clouding her anxiety and fear. 

“I do! Why, we both work together at her hotel!” He happily exclaimed, keeping his smile on. “I’d be happy to take you there. Be your guide.” He approaches her. “How does that sound, my dear?” He reaches his hand out for her to take. 

Shilo hesitated for a bit, unsure about him. He may say he is working with Charlie, but what if he lies? Just to throw her off guard and attack her. But seeing the sincerity in his eyes tells her everything. She reached her hand out, but then she pulled away.

“B-but I could freeze you, too," she added. What if she freezes him, too? She doesn’t want to harm another soul with her dangerous powers. 

Alastor pulls his hand back, seeing the anxiety in her eyes. “If you are still shaken by your minor trauma, you can always stay close to me.” He suggested. “Sound much better?” Seeing her nodding, Alastor motioned her to follow him. 

Shilo watched him turn around and head out of the alley. She stayed close to him, following him out and down the street leading to the hotel. 

Alastor looked behind him, seeing her walking beside him. He grinned hugely. He could tell this would bring more entertainment to their dull hotel and cause a dramatic event. “There’s a world going on underground.” He sang, his eyes changing to black and red.

Husk and Angel walk together on the streets as they try to find the angel. They have checked every building and alley they thought the news could be showing. But all they found was nothing; nobody had seen the angel yet. Angel asked the sinners, so far, nothing. The two walked down the same road Shilo was in.

“How will we find an angel in a city like this?” Husk asked, getting grumpy and annoyed that their search had led them nowhere. 

Suddenly, both men stopped, seeing the icy trail, which ran along the lines of frozen demons and sinners standing like frozen statues. Some tried to get them out, but the ice was so thick and complex that it was impossible to break it. Angel and Husk were flabbergasted by the sight they witnessed, eyes widened and mouths open, both silent. 

They stayed like this for a while until Angel broke the silence. “Well, that’s new.”

I don't even think it's that Octavia's mad, per se. I'd describe her as more hurt than anything. Stolas has basically been her rock since the very start of the show. No matter what, he'd been there for her. And then as Stella's abuse became more flagrant and their relationship deteriorated more and more, she started to see the cracks forming.

The arguments over dinner.

Him forgetting about Azathoth's tears.

Even him just not knowing what her interests are during Loo Loo Land.

When he showed up at the trial, willing to die to save Blitz's life, her rock shattered. Until Satan spoke up, everyone watching (remember, the would-be execution was broadcast hellwide) would have been expecting the same fate for Stolas.

"Are you gonna run off with him? And leave me behind? Go away where...I can't find you?"

I feel like it can't be emphasized enough that even though she sees Blitz as the man who stole her father, the last thing either Blitz or Stolas want is to leave her behind.

But she doesn't know that yet.

Like, I see people throwing around all sorts of blame in this situation, but...it's not completely black-and-white. No one here is objectively and completely right, which I feel is a strength of the overarching plotlines coming together. Everyone is portrayed as very human, funnily enough for a show centering on the hellborn.

As for predictions...I think, somewhere in the vicinity of episodes 3-6, once we get some time removed from Mastermind and Sinsmas, that the B-plot of whatever the episode is will involve Loona getting Octavia to blow off some steam, possibly with Bee and Tex. Perhaps some shenanigans happen, perhaps not. Possibly Stolas finds out and Blitz has to talk him down out of rushing down there to make sure she's alright.

Either way, I see Blitz picking her and Loona up at the end of the night, possibly with Octavia being more comfortable around him.

Or he could misspeak and end up with her demanding he pull over and let her out. Could go either way.

The way his smile dropped so quickly is heartbreaking. He tried so hard to convince her. 😭

But...at the same time, I don't think Octavia hates Stolas. She is mad at him, sure but she did still save his life and went out of her way to try to give back his happy pills. Personally I think she just needs some time.

Some post Sinsmas theories I have based on the spoilers I got so far :

. Okay so after Octavia cut ties off Stolas then, once Octavia went back inside, Andrealphus and Stella began packing their bags to flee to Sloth due to humiliation of Andrealphus getting defeated by a bunch of imps

. Meanwhile Stella berated Octavia for defending Stolas, while Octavia yells back that she doesn't want to really have Stolas dead

. Stella slaps Octavia and a shocked and hurt Octavia got the first brush to realize why Stolas took all those pills

. The very next day they go to Sloth for Andrealphus' ice castle, and then Octavia found herself wearing Sloth Royal clothes while wearing some of Stella's old pink outfits

. And then in the DiGalaxis Sinsmas Party, Stella publicly announced that Octavia was bethrothed to one of Octavia's male maternal cousins - who is also Phenex and Andromalius' smarmy son

. Octavia was too shocked to even respond because she wasn't even told of the ' surprise '

. Octavia flat out said no to the bethrothal and caused a big scene, but then Stella flat out berated her in front of everyone else while everyone else just WATCHED. The rest of the DiGalaxises tried in vain to persuade her that they are doing what is ' best ' for her, but Octavia retorted back to, ' Well, that's what my dad and his relatives also told me, didn't they? And now they abandoned me.....'

. Stella threatens Octavia that, if she doesn't comply, Stella will have EVERYONE on Team Stolas to be destroyed. Octavia quickly complies while in tears

. Soon after New Years Day, Stolas and Blitzo received the big shock of their lives - Stella and Andrealphus interrupted the TV programmes to live broadcast a whole press conference of Octavia and that smarmy lad's bethrothal. And even worse is that Octavia was literally threatened by gun point behind her back to portray how she ' couldn't be happier '

. Already IMP and Stolas are gearing to crash the press conference.

. And then Paimon instantly interrupted the broadcast by publicly announcing that he and Amethyst laid down the official word that they will not approve of this bethrothal because of the whole war thing is just too great. And Vassago led fleets to crash the press conference. To make matters worse, Stella threw her own daughter to a prisoner dungeons where she'll stay until the Bloodstone wedding

. And for the whole month, Stella kept on being bullied and abused by her maternal relatives in tow

. Amethyst was so distraught by the forced engagement news that she literally cursed an eternal winter on Sloth.....and will only lift the curse once Octavia is back.

. The Goetia fleets and IMP still work to fight against the DiGalaxis fleets and also fight to get Octavia back.

. Eventually those other Goetias asked IMP how they can defeat Andrealphus without magic

. Blitzo explained to them everything, which inspired the plan to crash the Bloodstone wedding

. On the Bloodstone wedding day, Octavia at that point already pieced together the whole truth through her own detective work and eavesdropping. She also planned for escape many times but failed then. And on that day, she plotted to kill her soon to be ex fiance.

. She walked down the aisle with dried tears down her face, in a wedding dress that is lavender with a fluted collars and fire elements, and a pink cover up veil.

. Just as Stella was threatened by Stella's parents to say her vows, IMP and the Goetias and their legions crashed in.

. Pandemonium ensues, and Vassago opened up a portal to allow Octavia to escape with Loona and Moxxie ( Millie stayed behind cuz she's pregnant ). The rest be battling it out with those DiGalaxises

. And Stolas uses his Moon sword ( which was given to him by Ashtoreth ) to kill Octavia's ex fiance, right in front of Phenex's eyes ( who SCREAMED at the death of her son )

. Paimon killed Andromalius

. Stella, Andrealphus, and their parents barely escaped.

. Meanwhile, a super shaken Octavia was comforted by Loona, Moxxie, Fizz and Vortex. Octavia apologizing to them all how sorry she is for being so confused and such. And they all show that they forgive her

. Once the DiGalaxises in tow are defeated ( and those DiGalaxises who survive flee the Ice Castle, which was burned down by Paimon ), Blitzo and Stolas return to check on a shaken Octavia

. Stolas and Octavia reunite and they and Blitzo have a heart to heart talk together

. There's still so much pain to be healed, but at least Octavia can start to forgive her dad

. And it turns out Octavia was so shaken and wants to leave the mess behind that it becomes universally agreed that Octavia will stay in the Pentagram Asylum until the whole mess is over

. While Octavia was staying over there, she gains a full perspective of the truth, goes through deep healing in therapy and such, bonds with many patients who are also affected by the war, and learns to honor her truth

. The Goetias all mourn for Octavia and soon learned to forgive her - they are just grateful that Octavia is alive

. Octavia only has limited visits permitted to the rest of the Goetias and only allowed IMP and Stolas to visit her more at first

. Eventually, the rest of the Goetias can visit her more

. IMP helped Octavia to navigate life outside royalty, while the rest of the Goetias done whatever they can to help her recover, with rekindling of bond through shared hobbies and helped her tutor certain subject

. It becomes a haunting realization for those Goetias that they Also inadvertently hurt her, even though they've done whatever they could to protect her.

. So they soon decided to repair within themselves for the sake of Octavia - she's a darling of the Goetias, after all

Comparatively minor next to everything OP mentioned, but it's also worth noting that back in Ghostfuckers (canonically set in either November or early December since Apology Tour was set on Halloween) Blitz had been confirmed to have drained both Moxxie and Millie's pensions during his unsuccessful attempt at retail therapy.

While it's possible that the sheer amount of work they got between Mastermind and Sinsmas thanks to Satan's broadcast may have gotten I.M.P. out of the red, we see that Blitz still can't even pay for some new clothes for Stolas, so what does that say about Moxxie and Millie's financial security both in the present AND going forward? They've probably already had to cut back on A LOT of luxuries and possibly even necessities while they slowly get back up to a financially safe place in the interim, and we know all-too-well just how unforgiving Hell can be to imps.

Even without all the foes they've accumulated over the past year (in-universe) breathing down their necks, and even with Moxxie getting more confident with melee combat and Loona getting into a more proactive role at I.M.P. thanks to Stolas taking on the job of I.M.P.'s new secretary (read: Millie needing to take maternity leave won't hurt their business too badly overall), it's still a scary position to be in.

When Millie reveals that she's pregnant, she's unsure of what to do and hasn't even told Moxxie. While it could be pre-birth jitters many women have when they first learn they're pregnant, she might have more to fear.

Her and Moxxie's line of work is a very dangerous one. There's no guarantee that they can survive every mission they get, leaving their kid a potential orphan should Millie choose to give birth. But I.M.P has many enemies in Hell who're out for their blood, be it Striker, Crimson and of course Andrealphus, whose ass they kicked literally just hours prior. Millie has more to be worried about outside the typical pregnancy fears.
