I think you ( @s0upbuggi ) me both were expecting a digital drawing here, but the demons called to me and said, "WHAT IF WE MADE IT IN GMOD" cue to me going insane trying to find a goddamn frying pan only to see it COMES WITH THE GMOD APPLICATION ITSELF, i just cant read (and fighting with his face until i found out what sub material means) so ta-da!! I might try doing more gmod pictures cause it looks fun as hell to do

(whats also REALLY funny is how i literally made pancakes and waffles in my cooking class so this fits perfectly lol)

As an autistic person who has no internal sense of time and pretty often forgets to eat, talk to people and do any other task while absorbed in a special interest, it’s extremely funny to me that the tragedy of Hadestown hinges on Orpheus being too busy composing to notice:

Him and his wife running out of food and firewood.

His wife and father figure repeatedly asking him to pay attention to them.

His wife leaving to find more supplies in the harsh winter full of desperate people, alone, without him even offering to help.

A huge storm with “the wrath of the gods” in it blowing in the same direction his wife went.

Hades emerging from the afterlife to manipulate his wife into killing herself.

His wife killing herself.

And then after all of this, he gets up and is like “Where’s my wife, my sun, my heaven and Earth, the food and drink of my soul, who I would do absolutely anything for and could never live without?” And he means it! It was never that he didn’t care! He was just in the Zone!

It's kind of wild to me that so many people consider my writing to be really immersive, I always worry that I get too caught up in writing internal monologues and trains of thought and totally neglect to write whats actually physically happening in a scene lol ^^'

“Hajime?” you ask as soon as he enters your apartment. The aroma of your favorite taqueria fills the small space while you rummage through the kitchenette. “You wanna tell me why Oikawa texted me to, and I quote, ‘Get our man in check?’”

Iwaizumi laughs, knowing exactly what sparked this reaction in Oikawa.

“I didn’t realize that when I agreed to date you that you were already in a relationship,” you tease as you finish setting the table.

“Shut up,” he replies with a chuckle, making his way through the apartment as though it's his.

“Make me.”

Your smile turns mischievous as he approaches you like a predator hunting its prey. Standing before you, the difference in height is exaggerated as you tilt your head up, maintaining eye contact.

His hand comes to cup your jaw before he leans in, kiss leaving you breathless, grasping at his shirt like he’s the only thing keeping you standing.

You pull back slightly, adoration visible in your eyes. “So? Are you going to tell me what you did to warrant an angry text from Oikawa?”

“OH! Yeah, you’ll never guess who I ran into today!”

“You… ran into someone? From Miyagi?!” you ask incredulously.

“Not just someone. Ushiwaka.” He laughs at your startled expression, pressing a quick kiss to your forehead. “Yeah! His dad is Utsui Takashi. We actually talked after I got the chance to meet him. Before we parted, I took a picture with him and sent it to Oikawa to rub it in.”

“Well… shit.” You glance around the apartment as his words sink in, only for your eyes to settle on the food that’s still waiting. “Oh. Why don’t you go get comfortable and tell me about your day after we eat? I can’t wait to hear all about your day!”

Warmth spreads throughout him at your words, at the domesticity of it all, at the thought that he could do this with you for the rest of his life, at the knowledge that it’s something he wants.

Are there any FS manga ideas you've had which you haven't really seen anywhere but wish were more common?

RUBS MY HANDS. ok so bc i havent been here that long i havent really seen even a fraction of all the fan content for this thing (although i comb through oldER threads, fanworks, and deviantart fairly often) so i cant say anything on it not existing... plus this is pretty basic

but onw of my fav concepts i dont see utilized too often is pairing off two of the 4/maybe5 guys and putting them in a damn situation by themselves. most of the time , at least the fancontent I see has them all together, by themselves, or paired off like they were in the manga. which is FINE. maybe im just geared different. but what better way to enjoy their characters like its new. what better way to analyze . fuck you scoops up red and vio puts them in the Labrynth with devious creatures. .yaknow?
