Dear Dave,
So, I had a discussion with Ahsoka Tano, and she’s not happy with the whole Lux Bonteri coming back situation. Well… At first, she said “who TF is Lux Bonteri?” as he was THAT vanilla-mid, mediocre, annoying and un-memorable. Apparently, she’d forgotten that he existed after all that she has been through in her life. Basically after I reminded her of his existence she said, “Oh! The dude that I had a crush on back when I was, like, 16?! Shit! I was young, stupid and sheltered. It’s been, like, 30 years. Who even remembers their teenage crushes at my age!? Um. I kind of remember him being sort of a boring asshole side character now that I think about it. Yeah. No way! I wouldn’t get with him now… even if he looked like Jude Law.”
She basically said that she’s queer, Dave. She thought that was obvious, but she does realize that this could never be canon. She knows that you, Disney and Lucasfilm like to kowtow to homophobics and queer-hating governments abroad, so she was totally cool with you just queer-coding the shit out of her while completely baiting almost all of her sapphic fan base. It’s why you didn’t have her and Trace show any real affection for one another in season 7 of the Clone Wars despite you clearly keeping most of the elements of the “boyfriend arc” in tact, and why you scrapped Kaeden Larte from the novel in that Tales of the Jedi short that you didn’t have to retell but did anyway. We see you. We get it. She understands.
She thought that you might just keep her sexuality in a state of limbo as you have that “paternal eye”. That way, no one gets hurt by your animators’ and writers’ queer-baiting, homophobic assholes don’t flip the fuck out that she’s not straight, and no one truly gets what they want. After all, a character’s sexuality isn’t important unless it is crammed down the viewers’ throats… gay or straight.
She then admitted that if you ABSOLUTELY HAD TO put her with a male love interest because you felt like you had to bend the knee to some heteronormativity kink, because you have absolutely run out of other story ideas for her, or because you know that her character has zero growth and development left as she is in her 40s (and you know as well as we do that there is no where else to go), then she has two men that she will accept as love interests:
1.) First, she said she wouldn’t mind Rex. She said that she loves Rex… not really like THAT, but that she and Rex have such a deep, lovely, platonic friendship that she feels like Rex would respect her (unlike Bonteri). Their history together would make him a great option, and he does seem like he would make great husband material. She understands that he’s old and that his aging is accelerated, but that’s really part of the allure, she feels.
2.) Second, she said she’d be cool with Din Djarin. She doesn’t think that he’d necessarily be interested in her, but if she promised to train Grogu, then maybe he would settle down with her. She said that Pedro Pascal Din honestly has some sort of weird animalistic attractiveness about him that she wouldn’t hate either. Once again, Din is a respectful guy, and he did call her a “nice lady” once after she went feral and attacked him for no reason.
She said she would go ahead and consider being with the Jude Law character if that’s the angle you REALLY wanted to take as long as he was new, nice and respected her above all else (because, let’s face it, it is Jude Law), but she also said you can go and f*^% yourself if he is casted as Lux Bonteri (her words, not mine).
Sincerely,
A self-proclaimed Ahsoka simp that understands how a 40-something-year-old woman thinks, oh, and Ahsoka Tano.

A different type au of Fairy tail crossover with Witcher but Jaskier and Lucy are still twins
@thesebrkenbones
When Jaskier and Lucy are 9 Queen Calanthe heard news of Jude Heartfilia neglect on the twins decided to raise them Herself alongside her daughter Pavetta, allowing Jaskier and Lucy Magic to flourish and grow stronger while also not being separated
Calanthe and Layla were best friends growing up growing distance after their respective marriages and are eachother godmother to they're children
Lucy and Jaskier joined the Guild when they were 15 per there mothers wishes and when they were 19 is when tenrou Island happened Jaskier (in pretty much all my au's) is left behind and he wanders the path accepting the odd job here and there when he hears news of what happened he is distraught running back to Cintra to Tell Calanthe when Jaskier turns 21 (2 years into the 7 year timeskip) he meets Geralt
When growing up Jaskier and Lucy decided to learn a secondary magic Re-quip and are nearly as skilled as Erza most to Aquarius assistants along with Calanthe that they don't just use a whip as a weapon
Along with meeting Geralt. Jaskier keeps his magic hidden for 2 years (when Jaskier turns 23 4 years into the time skip) its exposed during Djinn episode right before it can slit Jaskiers throat Jaskier has it knocked out cold with a burst of magic after enchanting Geralt into a deep sleep for 8 hours (suck it Geralt get a full night's rest) with the aid of a wool bomb
Jaskier drags Geralt to Fairytail to explain that he has Ethernanos Magic
Geralt with a tad upset with his Bard for not telling him he understood and invited Jaskier to kaer morhen during the last 3 years of the time skip Geralt and Jaskier have grown much Closer
Geralt helps Jaskier with the grief of losing his twin sister and Wendy
Geralt and Jaskier meet Yennifer on a mission request it was near where they were at the time and it was yennifer simply putting up a request to have a discussion between magics simply wishing to know the differences
Yennifer and Jaskier grow close with a sibling sort of rivalry, and Jaskier Gently tells Yen that Mind Magik is strictly Forbidden as the magic council no matter if it's choas or Ethernanos Magik
Yennifer and Geralt never get together they just have a drink or two whenever to talk about Jask
Aka protection squad
When Lucy meets Geralt for the first time she just knows Gerskier are in love and Lucy approves of the tall witcher
Lucy and Yennifer meet and also grow a sibling bond
Jaskier eases Calanthe rage when the law of surpise happen
Calanthe "Jules you better stay with that witcher make sure my grand baby will be safe"

Captain Marvel 2 got me leaning even more into being Yonvers trash, sorry not sorry --
I am not sure I would classify Carol Danvers as a War Criminal like everybody else, as 100% the Supreme Intelligence needed to go, and is not like she continued to personally scorch the earth from there. But there has definitely been a lot of grey up for consideration in this sequel, and so much of the consequence of her actions, however valid were her feelings to do what she did. And I just find myself really needing her and Yon-Rogg to have a conversation. After all that has happened since 1995, so much that has gone down in space. (Also THANK YOU to the Skrull emperor for that needed line "We have nowhere to go" after an entire Secret Invasion season of Zero Accountability for Nick Fury and Carol Danvers in not finding a permanent settlement for the Skrulls as promised. At least Carol to her credit showed remorse on her face for it. Is a start.)
Like for damn sure Yon-Rogg needs to redeem himself -- have him paying his dues somewhere like Aquaman's brother Orm Marius for all I care -- but at least open the door for those dues to actually count towards something. Evidently this film wants me to ship Carol Danvers with Prince Yan, but nah. The personality difference is too jarring. I much prefer the gradual humanisation of Carol in her friendship (familyship) with Monica and Kamala than whatever switch gets flipped on Aladna. (And on that note, Aladna culture was the most annoying thing in for me a not-so-annoying film, so unlike with Tarnax, I was actually happy to see it get sucked into a wormhole🌀🌀.) If anything, I want Yan to kneel to Dar-Benn😼😽. She could use that sunshine more💔. And I think a lot of my perspective right now is I cannot actually see the villainess of the film, Dar-Benn, as a villain. She has probably been one of the more sympathetic antagonists we have had in the MCU in a minute (and she looked so damn pretty in her speech to Hala -- Imma simp). And through her I feel myself softening towards the Kree more than expected. Whatever the crimes of the empire, they are now a devastated people. And my previous scepticism at mention of "peace talks" in the Secret Invasion has dissipated. I could seriously believe after everything they would be now desperate for relief. And that bleeds its way into my long-sailing ship. Feed me to a pregnant Goose if you like, but still for me it is Yon-Rogg x Carol Danvers. Bring Jude Law back for Captain Marvel 3 (The Marvels 2) please.

Hello ❤️ ❤️
Looking for your opinion on the Fantastic Beasts series, I thought Jude Law’s dumbledore was exactly as righteous and self-righteous as your writing so beautifully describes
Would you ever be interested in writing about Nagini and Voldemort’s backstory? Or more of that era?
Hello! ❤️
I thought the first Fantastic Beast movie was alright; it was enjoyable. The second was bad, but at least I had Grindelwald to simp over.
The third was, quite possible, the worst film I ever saw. I almost fell asleep watching it, and that never happened to me at a cinema. Even to this day, if you would give me a million dollars, I wouldn't be able to tell you what happened in it. A mess. I know very few people that enjoyed it, but all the power to them! I'm happy someone was pleased with it- it just wasn't for me.
That being said, love sexy Dumbledore as Jude Law. Wish they'd have given him his magnificent robes, and that they remembered he never was a Defence teacher, but other than that, I liked him. I wish they would have spent more time with him and Grindelwald.
I always sneak in Nagini whenever possible when I write Voldemort, and I am sure at some point I'll write a scene where they actually met, but it won't be a story in it's own right- just a detail in Voldemort's.
I love that era, and I will write more in it, only I will not take anything in it as canon, with few exceptions (I already had Vinda and Abernathy used as G's followers, for example). But I will ignore most of what we learn in the movies (also I can't remember what happened in the last one haha).
