11. Do you believe in the old advice to “kill your darlings?” Are you a ruthless darling assassin? What happens to the darlings you murder? Do you have a darling graveyard? Do you grieve?

(Note: This one has several unpopular opinions re: authors rewriting fics in particular, so please just...do not keep reading if you've ever rewritten a story you've released on AO3 or rewritten a serial or something, because like, slakdfjas how I feel about what I do has nothing to do with how other people do their stuff, lol).

Okay, yes, I do have a darling graveyard. In total, since I started writing as a kid, I've shelved about 5-6 completed novels. Maybe more. I didn't do it while actively writing them, I finished them, really believed in them, and one day reread them and realised they would stay on my hard-drive. That's fine. I don't really grieve them. Some I feel nothing for. In fact not having many feelings about the story was one of the reasons I shelved it.

I am not, otherwise, a very brutal 'kill your darlings' person. I'm a big believer in restorative methods and problem solving. For anyone who is familiar with Clifton Strengths, Restorative is in my top 10. I would rather fix or mend something, than shelve it or give up on it, and that part of my personality is a perfect match with writing an ongoing serial.

Here's the thing, I write most of my serials in an ongoing way with no plan. If I abandon the serial, I abandon my readers who are invested in the serial. That's a very different process to writing a novel that no one else except maybe an editor or beta is seeing.

I have to be - imho - from an integrity perspective, accountable to the process. And the process demands that I not pull a serial halfway through and then replace it with something new or not replace it at all. Firstly, there will be readers who always prefer the first version, and that shafts them. And secondly, it is almost always possible to mend a story, or write yourself out of a cul de sac. I enjoy the problem solving, I enjoy thinking on my feet, and the moments of being blocked because I broke something in the story are vastly outweighed by the times I unblocked and let the river flow again.

This is also why when I edit Game Theory, I'll always leave the original on AO3. It's also why I haven't deleted fanfic I'm actually pretty ashamed of and couldn't reread again. Like I have het Glee fanfiction on my not_poignant account and I never want to read it again. I'm not deleting it. I'm not going to shelve it. People gave it kudos, they bookmarked it, and I don't know those people and I know they can read something better, but once it's up, I am accountable to that visibility. I know what it feels like to go back and read that one special fic that for some reason you just really love, only to find out it's been deleted. And yes, we can always download stories, but I can also just choose not to be a dickhead to my readers in that fashion, so I won't.

Putting the rest under a cut because well there's more but also I might be very Unpopular Opinion about this and I feel pretty strongly about it.

(There are of course valid reasons people delete their stories, like, 'this username is connected to my legal name and I'll get fired if these stories are found' (though they can always be orphaned / made anonymous), but 'I hate this story' to me is just... /thinks/ I don't really want to let my mental illness win or be more important than the folks who might really love that one story and find something important in it. That's just.... how I think about it - if I can make sure another reader never feels that kneejerk broken-hearted feeling of having a favourite fic deleted, even just a dumb little Glee fic that's terrible, then like, yeah I won't make them feel that way just because I feel something like shame or disappointment in something. Because I have the power to also not think about those stories and then it doesn't affect me lmao).

I always have very mixed feelings when authors remove or completely rewrite a fanfic for example on AO3 - it is obviously completely their right, I feel really sad on behalf of every reader who will forever miss that original version. And as a reader, I've had this happen to me. An author has removed or rewritten a story, and I just loved the original more. I've never loved a rewritten version of a fic more than the original version. Not once. Not ever. Some of us preferred the more raw and ugly version, that was less like a generic novel and felt less like 'I've learned how to publish books now so I'm going to polish this up even though that's not why almost any of my readers are here.' And I'm painfully conscious of that re: Game Theory lol.

I guess I have really strong opinions about this. I don't know how to explain it. I feel like once I put something in public, I have pledged a certain amount of loyalty to a story, and a certain amount of respect and dignity to the reader. My loyalty to the story is that I will make it the best it can be in my capacity at the time. My respect and dignity re: the reader is that I will respect their love of the thing, even at the expense of indulging the intrusive thoughts of a mental illness, even if I don't understand how anyone could love the thing.

Shelving a serial isn't really something I want to do, and that's the closest I think I come to 'killing your darlings.' These days, therefore, I'm just a lot more discerning about what long-term projects I commit to before I commit to them. Because once I'm in, I'm all in. I'd rather quit writing entirely than leave a big serial unfinished, delete it, and start something else instead. Like, how bad am I at writing if I can't mend what I broke?

(Again, this isn't how I feel about other people's writing, it's just very important to my process that I be accountable to the story and the characters once I get started. I suspect other authors instead are more accountable to the quality of the writing and in giving their readers the most 'perfect' version of a story ever, or maybe they're just more accountable to that niggling 'I could have done that better' feeling. It manifests in many different ways! My method works best for me, but it is very much tied in with my personal sense of ethics and values that I impose on myself and try and live by.)

As to grieving... There's one novel I really regret shelving the most, but that's because I shelved it for reasons partially outside of my control - it needs an Australian Aboriginal sensitivity reader who is comfortable reading m/m romance with explicit sex. After months and months of searching, I found someone, gave them an upfront $150 USD deposit (about 6 years ago now), with the rest to come later, and they disappeared with my money and never spoke to me again. Ever since then, I have looked occasionally for a sensitivity reader in that area, but I've kind of suspected it's too niche of a thing to need, and I also can't lose that much money again. I've never spent that much on a single marketing budget for Perth Shifters, for example.

That's a standalone Fae Tales novel set in the southern hemisphere, with an entirely new cast, called Tradewinds and I'd really love for y'all to read it, but I sadly don't see it ever happening.

That one I'm really sad about. And I guess I could rewrite it to have zero Aboriginal Australian representation even though it's set in Australia, but like... :/ Y'know? Not ideal. But maybe that's the only way this story can exist, or maybe it just shouldn't exist in the first place. So it's shelved. A very few select people have read it, and everyone who's read it has enjoyed it, but none of those people have been Aboriginal Australian, and you know, I don't want to make some kind of horrendously awful fuck-up so we just... quietly leave that one in its folder and forget it exists most of the time.

15. Do you write in the margins of your books? Dog-ear your pages? Read in the bath? Why or why not? Do you judge people who do these things? Can we still be friends?

Mmm, I only write in the margins of some books, and only if they're mine.

I dog-ear my pages, I don't care how expensive or special edition the book is. If it's mine, I can do what I want with it. I see no point in being precious about physical objects, when what matters are the words inside, and not whether the page has a crease in it.

I don't read in the bath because I don't have baths. But also because I want to empty my head in the bath, so I just want to not think about anything at all.

I don't judge people who do any of these things to their own property. I get mad if they do it to my property (basic respect bruh), and I do judge the people who judge me for what I do with my own property. They're in the same category as grammar pedants, imho.

interesting but predictable how some of the inherent uncanny valley strangeness of bringing something that exists in the chronically online space into the real world can manifest. I’ve noticed this at all the other tours of theirs as well - some people can have a hard time separating internet behaviors from irl behaviors, and the sudden merging of these compartmentalized ways of being (online vs offline) can be hard to navigate.

I think it can also make people uncomfortable to see their comedic silly billie faves being serious, and there’s a dissonance to seeing them, these characters who live on our screens, along with the audience around you who are typically just avatars and usernames shitposting in lowercase, all suddenly in the same physical room. And suddenly that often completely disparate, scattered, semi-anonymous community needs to adapt to social mores and group norms in a new social context. It’s taking a community with its own set of rules that were designed for and in response to a digital landscape and plonking it into a completely alien environment. And yeah, we’re all humans who exist in public outside of our internet lives, but it’s different when that happens but you’re still in the context of the phandom.

Which I think is what leads to things like shouting out rly profane, out of pocket things during the quieter moments of their shows. because if you comment something like that online, you won’t rly be interrupting anything. you might be ignored, you might get some laughs, maybe you’ll get a notice bc haha unhinged right. Or like treating an evacuation drill as a lol pass the tea yas mommy daniel moment instead of an oh we’re actually here in real life moment.

I went back to my tatinof review bc I remembered writing this - “someone behind me kept screaming at them to "GET NAKED" (particularly during silences in the 7 second challenge) to which everyone in my area responded with claps and laughter.” During my second TIT show, there were people around me who wolf whistled and shouted “kinky” and “ayo ok freaky” during totally inappropriate moments. I remember during Dan’s quieter bits of WAD people could not seem to just stay silent. (I have suffered complete amnesia when it comes to ii so I can’t speak to any part of that experience lol.) after the preshow and during intermission at tit, I heard separate people at separate times making a range of critical comments about Dan and Phil’s bodies in ways that were downright shocking and not how I hope they’d typically feel comfortable speaking about other humans.

I think on the whole, phannies are so lovely and kind to one another. I feel deep gratitude for this community. And I know this isn’t just a phandom thing; I think how we treat one another in public spaces has generally really eroded, and concert etiquette has become abysmally poor. But phandom, as always, is a little unique, because of the sense of mutual understanding and the co-created dynamic between us and d&p. It dissolves the boundaries, so when Dan tells you to shut up, your online brain tells you that’s just a chance to be funny with your fave. When you have a chance to be heard, your online brain provides a memey shitpost joke and your irl self shouts it out even though that ain’t the move in a theatre performance unless invited to do so.

No real conclusion here, just some observations about the rly unique dynamic this all creates!

Yeah, it's 100% an issue of question curation, not an issue with questions being asked. There's literally no way that you could know that without specifically seeking out questions that were submitted but not answered, but I guess some people are expecting you to be clairvoyant...

It's a shame because it's probably the only fireside chat Laura'll do for at least a year. I think the quesitons that get the most repeat submissions are always going to be the memey ones, which is why they really need a dedicated person to pick out the most interesting questions during fireside chats, otherwise we're just gonna keep getting shallow questions.

Also, I was just thinking the other day about how girlfailure is kinda like the new bimbo and it bothers me. Like, yeah, it means ditzy and klutzy and we can say it affectionately all we like, we're still kinda trivialising feminity. It's also a really clunky word that sounds bad to say. If you wanna talk more about it, I'd like to hear it

I feel you here, but as I keep tryna say I don't think it's 100% an issue on curation, because those silly questions had to be submitted in the first place, and the person curating them has to have some sort of belief or knowledge that it is what the audience wants to hear. I can take an argument for lightheartedness, but as I said, it's within the context of all of the grievances people have had with this campaign, I guess paired maybe with underlying concerns I could have about them tryna appeal to a certain crowd, and how that could effect the main campaign format eventually. I don't know the current time line for recording, so there's all chance that the latest episode was filmed an amount of time before the fireside chat, so that added to wanting to steer from too current questions as it would maybe spoil. but then again I say, the show didn't have to be this week. and you're very right, it is so frustrating because we have a lot less of a look behind the curtain with this campaign than we did c2, and yes they're so busy, but it's frustrating because we (or at least I) don't want any of the bells and whistles in this extra content. I'm not looking to fulfil a social need watching them hang out, I want to get a grasp of what is going on, or at least not have it replaced by the goofing.

of course part of why I was posting initially with pretty heavy words is because I was feeling pissed off about it, you wait a long time for something to come round and it just feels like the same information rehashed to you, or yeah as I said in other posts, it feels like an obvious infiltration of fandom and like you're getting pandered to. and hey, maybe that's the fault of this campaign, maybe the majority feel it's so lacking they'd rather say fuck it, I'd rather AU to everyone's face.

I'll say a little bit on the girl failure thing, because I am almost certain people have written good and thought out essays and pieces on this stuff, but what I will say is what my gut says. firstly, there has been a huge up tick in the use of girl by women in general in recent years, and as a simple quick note on that: I don't like it. it shows a denial of aging, a wish to not be associated with what is woman, as well as literally the word for a child. yes, I understand the complexities of a society where getting houses and a lot of these other classic age associated milestones are really hard if not impossible, and that language evolves and definitions change, but what a denial of the experiences you do get to have instead. there's a lot of freedoms we have that prior generations haven't. to go through all of that and still call other women girls is just. it's not it. I can understand an argument for preference, but as I said, to use it for others is infantilising. showing my age here, I'm sure, but it's the way girl has become like an identity vs woman. why are you so scared of being a woman? what is it about if that you dislike? how does that play into-

girlfailure, and people using it so casually for everything and it becoming a meme.

language is important. and I shoudlnt be allowed to say that because I haven't proof read a post in my life and I've got a sieve brain from years of drug use. but the language you use plants seeds. when you make jokes and belittle yourself, do you know what kind of people see that and think, huh, well if they're saying it it's fine for me to say it too, and who goes on to repeat it the loudest? how, genuinely, I genuinely believe this, yknow, you watch those videos and read those pieces on how people basically become fascists without realising, from the wildest paths. that it's often a long chain of events. behaviour starts somewhere. and yeah, this is a huge dumbing down and simplification of that and I'm sure a lot of people will argue I'm being delusional and dramatique', but associating a negative trait with a gender or a sex or a race or ability, making it a meme, using that meme, even if it's initially only used by the people it applies to, it gets co-opted by those it doesn't, and in time is used as ammunition against them. do I think that every person saying girlfailure or girlmath is using it with vicious intent? no. but I'm old enough to have grown up with changing vocabulary and words that are derogatory and thought of as totally fine to use in every day language and were in reality dehumanising and or belittling the people they were used against. basically? girlfailure gives me the ick. sure, girlfail all over yourself if you have to. don't use it for other women. don't put it out there.

it's never made sense for me for Imogen. yeah, she's a goof at times, but her failures are literally dice rolls, why is no one else a girlfailure? she's been rediculously perceptive (lol not visually) so many fucking times. what do you mean all you've wanted is for Imogen to be a girlfailure? you want her to flunk everything she attempts? doesn't seem to line up with the Imogen I very much enjoy seeing and people claim is what they love to see.

finally, and this might be huge news to some people, I can think girlfailure is a shitty term and propagating misogyny, and that doesn't take away from how much of my concerns are focused in areas that need more attention, doesn't mean it's all I care about. as I'm always saying, change happens locally, within communities. change starts with small actions as well as big ones. language is important. if you don't see how small things play into the big things then I'm sorry, the world isn't that simple. dehumanising and the like starts at micro levels. and before u know it it's law.

I actually feel Color would talk rather fondly of his Gaster, if casually. They were coworkers before Gaster fell and then Color joined him in the Void, so they don’t have that familial relationship, but they spent so much time alone together I wouldnt be suprised if there’s just this very instinctive familiarity. They’re like the less controlling, toxic, codependent version of Killer and Something New Chara.

I’d contribute a lot of Color’s continual survival and health to Gaster actually. It seems pretty obvious to me that Color didn’t handle being trapped and forgotten as well as Gaster did, who had his time to come to terms with everything and was just likely more glad to not be alone anymore. I think Gaster represents a very dark period in Color’s life that he would never want to return to again, but Gaster is also the reason he survived that dark place at all.

Epic, if I remember correctly, had a father son relationship with his Gaster, right. Which is one of the things he and Cross have in common; abusive terrible Gaster’s as fathers. I haven’t completely read all of Epictale, but from what I can tell of Epic, he seems unlikely to discuss his Gaster in a way that shows what he truly thinks or feels about him. He seems more likely to filter all of it through his memey, silly persona.

And as for Delta, he seemed willing to fight his Gaster right off the bat. I’m not completely sure what their relationship could’ve been like, but I wouldn’t be too suprised if he didn’t have much of a positive relationship with his Gaster either. He’d probably just not talk about his Gaster.

Season 8 Featured on: The Joke​-​Explainer™ 7000's Highest Quality Rips: Sunset

So, the big Season 8 albums finally released - and there's a new Bandcamp up with it! You might've noticed that I've gone back to touch up a bunch of Season 8 posts as a result, and I've spent the past week listening through both albums as well. This release paired well with a recent thought of mine, that ever since I made the switch to a weekly schedule, I've wanted to increase my coverage of the current season's rips in particular. The problem there was, of course, knowing what rips to cover – which became a lot easier with proper album releases to sort them into. Funnily enough, I was also thinking about how long it'd been since I covered a no-frills meme medley along the likes of Memey Hell or Mother, Father, TechnoMan. And it was right as that thought struck me, as I was still listening to the album, that I realized that vibri and joke explainer open up mario party 8 and play rudder madness together had been playing in my ears all along. The stars aligned, and with everything the rip represents, with the ripper's own history already covered on the blog, it only felt right to use it as the blog's first celebration of the Joke-Explainer 7000 albums dropping.

Last time I wrote about today's ripper, Memmy, was on the ever-as-lovingly named Welcome to 2021! They finally invented summers that hurt motherfuckers😂 only at sonicforces​.​com; a rip I also happened to pick on a whim from having heard it on an album listen. What I wanted to emphasize with my coverage of that rip in particular was the love that rippers like Memmy express in the act of ripping for SiIvaGunner, not just through shooting for the stars and creating unbelievably impressive passion projects, but through simply making something with their own hands and having an evidently amazing time doing it. Despite my own obvious adoration for the channels' large-scale projects such as the Christmas Comeback Crisis, The Life and Times of Wade L.D., and more, Seasons 7 and 8 of SiIvaGunner in particular have been eye-opening for me for making me realize just how much I also enjoy seeing rippers simply engage in doing what they love. Running this blog as a means to highlight the "best" SiIvaGunner rips is in some ways misleading, because the channel is only as good as it is through the totality of ALL of its contributions, through the shared love that its entire team has toward the simple act of creating things for the love of the craft. With Season 7, it was RIP^2 and arrangements like The Paragoomba and the Wiggler that made that love more evident than ever before; with Season 8, however, it's all been due thanks to the presence and continued adoration of one little robot girl.

Season 8 as a whole is one I've previously on described as the "silliest" SiIvaGunner Season – as made evident through rips like slider dank version – and I think that's in huge part because of how thoroughly the team adores The Joke-Explainer 7000 as the new channel master. With Season 6 being in large part about confronting the expectations placed upon the team, with Season 7 being a full-year celebration of where those expectations came from and why we all adore the channel, Season 8 has felt like a year-long party of creative freedom, unrestrained from the past and free to play around in all sorts of ways at the drop of a hat. And of course, at the center of it all sits that one very silly little robot. As a channel host, JE-7K toys and plays with us in the audience, while the team in turn toy and plays with her own appearance at a staggering rate, seemingly just as enamored as we in the audience are by all of the Situations they put her through. As a result of all this, though the year may have been light in continental developments, it's given us some all-time classic, hyper-silly events, from April Fools 2024 covered in super mario 64 but it's in the buddy holly soundfont to the Justin Bieber Baby anniversary celebration covered on Super Ludacris JB World; each one fulfilling the standard routine for SiIvaGunner takeovers, yet coming alongside new outfits and posts just having fun with the idea of the Joke-Explainer 7000 running it all herself. Put simply, this year has felt radiant and joyous in a way I'm unsure if I've felt from the channel in quite a while.

I may well be looking into things too deeply just to make a point about Season 8 in particular (the channel has ALWAYS been chaotic, after all); but no matter the year, few rippers on the channel's team embody that chaotic, individualistic silliness better than Memmy. And while on Welcome to 2021! They finally invented summers that hurt motherfuckers😂 only at sonicforces​.​com I moreso focused on her love for the simple things, hers and many other rippers' drive to do whatever they feel like doing, it's with vibri and joke explainer open up mario party 8 and play rudder madness together that we end up getting closer to highlighting her full potential, the true machinations of her twisted mind. That individualism is certainly still present in this rip; The Vib-Ribbon game itself, for one, is one with only a dozen rips on the channel, with half of them having been made by Memmy herself throughout the course of just this year, pretty plainly showing her steadfast dedication to championing what she cares for. You may also, on a separate note, recall the aptly-named Season 5 rip my rip :) that I wrote about a while back, but might well have forgotten that the request to write about it was made by Memmy herself.

And so, for vibri and joke explainer open up mario party 8 and play rudder madness together, it's as if all of these separate aspects; Season 8's penchant for hijinx, the team's adoration for the Joke-Explainer 7000, a ripper's individualistic drive to make whatever she feels like, their love and championing for games that might otherwise be left forgotten a la Violet Snow Memories, and Memmy's fascination with the soundscape of sheer insanity. Laugh & Peace from the original Vib Ribbon already has an insane, sample-heavy vibe to it, but the samples, pace and madness of vibri and joke explainer open up mario party 8 and play rudder madness together give it almost a 100gecs-ian, hyperpop vibe, a cacophony of noise that would almost CERTAINLY kill a Victorian era child upon first listen. It's not a soundscape I'm at all averse to – FEEL SO FINE STUCK INSIDE is still one of my favorite Stuck Inside rips from the year – and there's a certain additional magic to this kind of sound once you've been made familiar with the artist behind it and just where all these desperate samples come from. If you've been following the channel's uploads through this year in particular you may well recognize at least a good handful of these samples; and much like the channels' rips themselves, even if you don't recognize one it all still just adds to the beauty of the rip's totality.

The driving force of the rip's first section, if nothing else, would be the voice samples of the rip's titular character and channel's beloved host; the Joke-Explainer 7000 voice clips as recorded all the way back in Season 4 Episode 1 by infrequent contributor Jea. For as recent as the character's time in the spotlight has been, it's easy to forget just how much her performance in Welcome to SiIvaGunner! and more really do add to the charm of the character, this softspoken yet aptly mischievous voice fitting her current-Season characterization like a glove. She wants to manage and help out, but can't help herself from pulling pranks and messing around; and just as quickly as she's introduced in vibri and joke explainer open up mario party 8 and play rudder madness together, she's tucked away and replaced with samples from all over the place. It's the kind of thing that I don't think makes much sense to try and explain the comedy of – you might argue that applies to this rip as a whole probably – and yet it's just another level of deep-internet brainrot that the rip blends in with the rest of the noise so effectively. Something about hearing this absurdly angry rant over a cartoon be sampled, mixed and then pitch-shifted to the melody of the aforemention Season 8 meme Stuck Inside just feels like such a perfect bow put on the Season as a whole, so effortlessly able to not take anything seriously and twist and conform to whatever would be the funniest bit to do in the moment.

I hope you understand just why I felt this rip was such a perfect choice to write about for this Season's big album drop; and, as an extension, why this post has taken a fair bit longer to come out than usual. Like the channel itself, underneath all of vibri and joke explainer open up mario party 8 and play rudder madness together's cacophony and noise is a genuinely really fun listen, a driving rhythm from the original Laugh & Peace still carrying the track through across the finish line. It feels at once completely stupid and thoroughly fascinating, so many layers of subversion from what anyone would think an average SiIvaGunner rip would be to where this would NEVER have been released back in Season 1 or Season 2, yet feels completely at home with the outrageous rips we receive multiple times a week nowadays. our life: beginnings and always is a very earnest and fluffy self-insert VN with a lot of customization. might not be everyone's taste-- basically rides or dies on if you like the main boy unless you want to get the DLC-- but I had a lot of fun with it. I haven't played the second game in the series (our life now and forever) but I imagine it follows a similar philosophy? As an aside it's cute seeing their art improvement from one game to the next. wayfarer is another fantasy text adventure, but it plays much more like a TTRPG with dice rolls and everything. beautiful visuals too, which is a weird thing to say about a twine game, but it's true! I have to stop myself from playing this because I get too invested in it. (also not complete as of writing)

flesh, blood and concrete - high grade rpgmaker horror. beautiful art, very contemplative

depression quest - this game gets overshadowed by its reputation as "the game that started gamergate", which is a shame because it's an interesting interactive fiction game in its own right. my actual nitpicks of it boil down to the author presenting their experiences as universal, but I think more people should still give it a try.

In general, if you want to find more weird or niche or one-off or otherwise unique games to play, looking through the games submitted for different game jams is always fun!

AITA for not apologizing to my boss after playing meme songs on the radio?

Okay. Hi! My name is O, and I run the local radio station in my town. My boss, P, is really adamant about what things can or cannot be played on radio. They've even made a list for me (due to finding a bunch of loopholes in the manual) which entails:

Do not play any documentaries on radio that are longer than 2 hours. - REVISED: Do not play any documentaries on radio period.

Do not play "your brother's fire mixtape" on radio. Ever.

Do not watch or play any audio for movies on radio. There have been many complaints of spoilers.

Do not call your friends on radio. They can hear you.

Do not put songs or audio snippets on loop for longer than 1 hour. REVISED: Do not put songs or audio snippets on loop period.

And there's more rules too, but you get the gist of it.

So anyways, yesterday night I was bored playing the same popular songs over and over, so I got an idea. I have a good sense of humor and laugh at anything really, so I went onto Soundcloud and looked up a bunch of memey and silly songs. Once I compiled a playlist (it was about 2 hours worth of songs), I put in some designated ad breaks, loaded the songs onto the radio, and let it loose into the world.

When I clocked into work today, P was furious. Somehow, P was driving late last night, and he was subjected to my lovely playlist while on the highway. So anyways, now he wants to fire me.

I asked him why. He said that I wasn't a good fit for the work environment and that my "attitude" was getting out of hand. I reminded him that he made a list and I followed it, and that technically I didn't break any rules so he has no reason to fire me.

He said if I don't apologize for it then he'll fire me. My coworkers are telling me to just apologize and suck up to them, but I really don't see what I did wrong here? I was just having a little bit of fun, and it's not like I always do this?? I'm holding my ground for now, but I'm really starting to wonder if I'm the a-hole here.

Hypnokinksters, I am officially back on the tumblr. Sorry for the sudden vanishing act. I actually can't tell you where I was not because I don't remember but because rule number one of being in the void is do not talk about the void.

Anyway I'm here to rant and tell you about some of the fun things I've been thinking about since I was away.

I came back to patreon and soundgasm posting while I am waiting to post on YouTube again with an ADHD friendly hypnokink audio. Some of you may not have heard my ranting on twitch when I was still streaming but I was diagnosed with it last year and since then I realized there isn't enough that focuses on the hyperfocus we have inbuilt for easy hypnosis. It was so fun to make and I've loved hearing all the great feedback people have had!

I removed all my video content on patreon so now the plan is to remake it (without my face). It's very exciting to be able to revisit old content with new knowledge I have learned since I started making hypnosis content in 2017.

I started making cursed educational shorts and I can't wait for everyone to see the silly memey shenanigans that are about to ensue in the pursuit of hypnotic knowledge.

We bought a house and a third cat. Now I have three babies to ruin my future streams (when I'm back to it next year) and interrupt my audios with screaming at the door.

Anyway I'm so stoked to be back and while I don't think I'll be a regular poster again (because the tweeter has me firmly in it's vice like grip) I'm excited to have a fun place for longer posts, the occasional audio and to simp for my friends.
