ok after some mild digging and refreshing of my memory i see that many of the original organizers simply drifted away from phandom

should I be the change I want to see in the world and attempt to revive this lost tradition? I couldn’t handle quite as many categories / the granularity of the original iterations, but I am feeling somewhat activated by the idea.

thinking abt that thing i said in my phil gafs post like, phil trusting dan with the understanding that if one came out it would have to be together and allowing dan to be the one to tell that part of their story with care. i mean that entire section in BIG is about dan's trust in phil. TRUST is such a huge part of dnp's relationship bc there were so many times where literally, they had no one else to turn to. it was phil's video that was leaked. it was phil pouring his heart out that was shared. they couldn't even trust a website's privating system to work reliably. it's no wonder they're so attached at the hip, if they weren't, who could have protected them?

i think about phil's side of no homo era a lot. he wasn't nearly as vocally no homo as dan, but if they were together in a younow he'd obviously also deny his queerness, in order to protect dan but also his own privacy. like i said, it was HIS video that was leaked. in the context of what we know about phil's sorta hidden breakdown during the hiatus and also much louder breakdown while dan was away on tour, it makes me think like. it must have been so painful right? being the polite yet palpably upset messenger in the dm's of people who violated his privacy. quietly taking down any copy he could find. and then having to rely on youtube's automated system which was technically a part of the system that violated his trust in the first place, even if it was just a glitch. and like dan was furious and you could visibly see the insecurities contort within him during all this and he would (understandably) lash out, but phil didn't play the good cop because he wasn't as affected, it was to protect themselves. it's just that if he didn't, i feel like dan would have watched the whole world burn and phil would have been right next to him. dan would have poured the gasoline but phil would have paid for it.

the other day, I lucked out by randomly purchasing a front row seat to the red bank show after a last minute decision to try and go. Wild. But bc I’m a financially irresponsible maniac who is in way too deep with these fuckers, I also just bought a silver vip ticket to red bank so that I can attend the preshow. The silver vip assigned seat is great, but I’d like to sit in the front row seat that i bought for the show itself.

So here’s what I’d like to do…. I'd transfer you my front row general admission ticket to gain entry to the show but with the mutual understanding that you’d actually be buying the seat associated with my silver vip ticket (center orchestra, row m, seat 112). That means your ticket would say a different seat than where you'd be sitting, but it would still be in the same section of the theatre, and it's still a great seat!

Because this is undeniably kind of wack of me and I feel a little weird about the way I’ve sorta gamed the system, I want to try and sell the ticket for just $30 along with my vip silver swag (tote, photocards, lanyard, mini poster, bracelet, plus I’ll throw in some of my photo cards from the previous show I went to as well.) I just really don’t want that seat to go to waste. lmk if you or anyone you know may be interested!
