I want it complete and together.#Ruining the surprise a bit to say 'yeah its a digital art comic'#But its been tricky figuring out the style I want to use for it!#hence the swaths of MSpain(t) doodles that boil down to 'how would this look if I did X?'#I wanted to do a fully Black & White Ink style. i've said this before but my problem with "good ganondorf" being portrayed as defanged and harmless has less to do with this in itself being a problem and more to do with that being the only way he's portrayed at all tbh—because it really speaks to how people perceive him. given even the slightest amount of edge or capacity for anger or violence and suddenly he can't be anything but a bad guy

#and i am mildly inferring ppl's motivations for doing this but like #idk i just find it insulting #i reckon the logic generally going through ppls heads (if any) is the idea of contrast #this 'ultra violent evil character' being made into a 'passive sweet good character'#but no matter the exact motivation behind this characterization it always comes off as wrong to me #ganondorf #ok time to go to work sighs #glider rambles

It was Maid Day today yesterday a week ago so I got struck by inspiration to draw the worsties, and it ran away from me into a whole AU where they’re coworkers at a maid cafe. She’s a med student & this is just a part time job, and this is his depression job while he gets his life back together. He needs something he can be workaholic about to forget what it’s like having a personal life and personal issues. He’s actually the accountant, but the new hire janitor (Izutsumi) doesn’t show up for half her shifts and is a sloppy worker, so he gets the extra work of doing her job on top of his because he’s undervalued and overworked. Of course, janitors also have an uniform to keep the aesthetic cohesion as they go about cleaning the place, of course.

Senshi’s the part time cook you only see slivers off, he’s kind and warm when you do see him and have a chat but most shifts he’s in and out the kitchen without a trace. Laios and Falin are regulars because Falin and Marcille are besties & in the same med school, Laios accompanies Falin as she visits her friend at work and gets hooked on the food. Chilchuck has to remind Marcille to work instead of chatting with Falin for an hour, and next thing he knows she’s distracting him from work too. That’s it that’s the AU. Inspired by this idol AU fanart a bit <3

Modern Shen Twins AU

SJ teaches literature and reading at a 'prepare for university' level. He's evil, always gets tons of complaints, but the school can't argue with the results. (And systemic child abuse, tiger parents,etc, etc)

Well, his totally platonic 'roommate' Yue Qi gets in a bad car accident and SJ has to be a full time carer, but the school won't give him time off, so he calls in didi to cover for him at work.

(SY's main job is freelance consulting and he's gotten a lot of lucky big jobs so he's okay on money and can sub for a while)

Anyway, the school staff are fooled bc SY has listened to ge complain about them enough to aim enough spite and snark their way, but the students think they're having a stroke

Teacher Shen is suddenly treating them like his own precious puppies (though his marking standards and expectations are the same)

LBH is cooked in two days.

Day one, he thinks it's a trap.

Day two he gets a head pat and it's all over.
