i do have a question that is bothering me

if gardenview shut down why were the toons left there wouldn’t the owners take them with them or atleast give them somewhere else to stay

PERSONALLYY i don't think theyve been shut down All That Long? like probably notif they still have electricity and food they gotta pay bills and buy food right. like the gardenview building doesn't seem Abandoned abandoned. maybe Arthur and Delilah still have have ownership of the building and were clinging to We Can Fix This we can get back in business And Soon. but also the toons just already Live in that building, we haven't seen all of them but they all presumably have their own bedrooms. there are nearly 30 toons and qwelver has said There Will Be More. so it's kinda a Where Could They Even Go situation

Inquisition kinda left me high and dry in terms of the world building for Well of Sorrows so my personal thoughts

> Inquisitor essentially becomes a vessel for Mythal, kind of like Flemmeth but not an active one. Post Tresspasser inquisitor can hear her voice vaguely from time to time, but more of a passive observer rather than an active force. Think a much more controlled version of what Anders had going on.

> Inquisitor can read ancient Elven without realizing

>The voices can occasionally get so loud that they can't hear what's going on or get jolted awake

> Mage Inquisitor has a much larger mana reserve and replenishes it much faster. They can almost entirely stop using Lyrium potions outside of isolated cases.

> Due to the presence of a spirit, Inquisitor becomes susceptible to magic that targets spirits despite being alive. Inquisitor can face issues with spiritual traps, areas with disrupted lyrium flow, and feels the effects of the veil much stronger. This does make communication with spirits much easier.

holding onto hardcore season 4 like my life depends on it cuz i love the lore, i love his world i love how passionate he is about it and i hate how sometimes little love it gets from the latter half of the people that only stick to qsmp streams

cuz its the little details and dedication he puts to each build that makes it so special to me, the history and storytelling behind each build while still giving it a purpose and function and how much genuine love he has for it, even when we give him shit about him downplaying his own abilities he's proud of what he's built

like hell the fact that he is going to revisit old locations to add more to them its just so ausefh i love passion projects, i love being passionate about things people are passionate about

i'm curious, who else in Crown apart from Harrison and Roger has existing family members that are still alive? i'm assuming both parents aren't aware of Crown's existence as an organization under the employ of the queen for their own protection, but do they at least know that their sons are Cursed to a certain extent? iirc Harrison's mother lives in the countryside, while Roger's dad still works as a doctor in London.

does Harrison visit his mother sometimes? if she doesn't know about her son's curse, does she at least know his friends from work, like Liam whom he finds troublesome but lovable and that they often visit teahouses together, or Will, whom he describes as charismatic, a natural leader, and someone he really enjoys playing chess with?

could she be the reason for Harrison's massive sweet tooth, fostering his love of desserts from a young age due to being a masterful baker? did she watch young Harry plow through the cookie jar in a single sitting enough times that they started hiding it in the cupboards where he couldn't reach but being the smart and resourceful kid he is, little Harry always managed to find and get his hands on the precious cookie trove no matter how many times they changed its hiding place? did the success of hunting them down and solving homemade mysteries made the cookies taste sweeter to little Harry? has she caught him red-handed before and just sighed, shaking her head in exasperation before patting her son's hair, saying he even takes after his father in being a glutton for desserts?

when he does visit, i bet she sends him home with enough freshly baked cookies to share with his friends from work :3

I miss writing. I miss malec

I plot in my head every night but it’s not the same.

I miss writing about how Magnus and Alec tease and find and appreciate and murder for each other and how much they love each other.

I miss Team Immortal and how Magnus and Cat and Ragnor and magical rituals and the spiral labyrinth politics and the finer elements of magical and warlock culture and

I miss diving into world building with magical botony and zoology and thread magic to pocket dimensions. How magic isn’t equal and there’s different levels and wild nature magic. The way that while the spiral labyrinth has changed and evolved, that it still holds to the very oldest of rituals. Everything carefully and continually read by each new Elder and the acolytes of the library learn by trade. Because knowledge isn’t kept in books alone. There are singing histories and spells kept alive by enchanted pieces and the memories of those devoted to learning. Carving and thread work and rituals in tapestry or furniture.

(Because elder isn’t a title based on just age but also elder knowledge. Warlocks who especially dedicate themselves to either singular or a plethora of fields and excel at creation and learning become elders. The very best researchers and scholars of the wealth of knowledge and magical prowess. Being an elder isn’t just a perk it’s a dedication and an oath to the protection and betterment of their people. Active oaths to keep them from stagnating in the decades of immortality and aging.

If you truly start slacking or losing your way, the magic prods you. Eventually you are forced to make a choice, forsake your roll as an Elder and retract and be released from your vows. Or uphold them. )

Metalworking and leather working and the labyrinth contains it all.

I love expanding on the shadowworld and the different ways magic is used by each race and how they all separately interact with the outskirts of the mundane world.

Of figuring out how a warrior society would work and the different styles of life that could have evolved.

And how much sheer adoration and platonic love is between the three of them. And the trust.

Because even when Ragnor is ignoring Magnus (a petty fight that turned into a research binge that turned into a few more years of silence than intended while Ragnor experimented in a pocket library) Magnus is still going to show up and make sure he’s fed and hydrated because the pettiness never outweighs the care.

(Cat has spells on all their vitals and vise versa. But she sent Magnus over with an excuse around year theee when she figured Ragnor had just lost track of time. Magnus doesn’t even remember that Ragnor was being petty and Ragnor doesn’t remember the argument at all).

I miss Alec figuring out what he enjoys and that he’s allowed to enjoy.

Honestly I got a little off track but I’ve been wanting to write malec and post for so long.

I miss the interactions and comments and looking forward to new Wednesday prompts. I miss writing Wednesdays so much and I’m looking forward to starting them up again when I’m healed :/

This took about an hour to write the first time but half got deleted and had to be rewritten when Nightshade started barking outside (it’s past the neighborhood noise curfew and I had to run to grab him so we stayed polite).

Nightshade likes to go outside and ‘guard’ the house for a bit every night before his door gets locked shut for bed, but since bed is subjective to my insomnia and not his sleep schedule he sometimes goes to ‘guard’ rather late. He huffily settled in his crate, perturbed I wouldn’t let him ‘protect’ the House.

Honestly I’m just happy I can write on my phone without a ton of pain anymore.

The House made a rule (without me lol I was outvoted) that every time anyone buys anything they have to consider if it’s for public House use and if it is, how likely I am to injure myself with it. Or how likely is it to randomly break and hurt me.

It’s very sweet but I hate that it says something that they all agreed. It’s also hilarious because I’m the one who does all the yard work (I’ve had to delay fertilizing for a month and had to stop PT for 3.5 weeks while it healed enough for me to go) so I have axes, clippers, trimmers I use frequently.

honestly it's amazing how sabo is like. everything I've ever wanted out of a character.

revolutionary/freedom fighter trope but is NOT demonized by the narrative for his radical beliefs/actions that are necessary to further his goal of peace because of the nature of the world he exists in. his past dosnt just exist as a half-assed attempt at adding 'nuance' (pity) to his character but directly shows where his ideals and beliefs come from and shape him as a person and it's never something that's ridiculed or downplayed. being a revolutionary is rightfully framed as the sacrifice it is for the greater good and doesnt defult-ly exist in a binary of 'good' or 'bad', but rather shows the difficult but necessary path of societal reform.

end of 2024🎉 here's some wip shots of the main setting for the second book of TSD trilogy/another project. cant say much about those projects yet but i can show off more pics + some lore ripped from the codex under the cut.

i started working on this build around march/april, first sculpting the land with worldpainter, then building almost everything brick by brick with no real plan, all i knew was that i wanted to make a minoan inspired society. so i did. or tried to. it's nowhere near finished but i'm really proud of it and how it's stories have evolved so far. i've mostly been working on the lower city/agoras and temple/academy/palace as the main events of these stories transpire within these locations, but i plan to build and decorate the entire city and surrounding area in full.

Today gf had and "incident" w her mother and she's been sad all day bc of that simple thing and I'm trying to calm her down and she is just so sad we have to go through this spiral of maternal rejection...

Well uh....am I wrong in the head bc I think is hot when she is having turmoil w her mother??? Like obviously I don't like it when my mother in law is so mean or at the very least condescending w her feelings, specially bc she is very sensitive... I’m not a Suvi apologist, I’m a Suvi TRUTHER. I’m a Suvi STAN. I’m a prophet of Suvi with the way I’m seeing the future coming full speed with no ability to hold it back or subvert it. Y’all can’t wait for her to get better? Not me. I’m waiting as patiently as I can for her to get WORSE. Aabria built Suvi to crash and burn and I personally can’t wait to see what stumbles out of the wreckage covered in blood and hardly recognizable as the sweet Inside Kid with glasses who still thought her parents were coming back. I want more of the snarling 19 year old who can’t put down the wizard staff from the Citadel because that would mean having to look at the blood on her hands. I want wizard hubris because she realizes she has no power other than what has been given to her. I want to see how badly the moment of reckoning shatters her when the cognitive dissonance reaches the breaking point and how they all pick up the pieces. Some of y’all are losing it because Eursulon is baby and I get that but I can’t wait for her to realize that Eursulon can’t go back because of HER actions. And the moment where she connects that her humanity, that instinct that told her to bathe him and take him inside, is what took some of Eursulon’s spirit-ness away. To compare it to the Bible, she was the snake. She fed Eursulon the fruit and she damned him from the garden (Forest in this case). She condemns the Honored Friends who are in the world of humans but how many are trapped in the human world because a human called them an honored friend LOWERCASE? To be loved is to be changed and to be changed means that you cannot go back. Not all doors open both ways. She took one home from him with the best of intentions in her ignorance and there’s going to be a moment where both of them realize that she’s trying to deny him another for the same reasons because she hasn’t grappled with the fact that Eursulon was/is also a spirit and not an exception to her tirades against them.
