uhh. okay. uh. i'm trying to like. come up w/ words but it's hard bc. autism. but uh. basically as long as you're not hurting people irl & everything's tagged whenever necessary, i genuinely dont care at all what you ship or not as long as nobody irl get hurt. i. don't care what dark topics you write about (or don't! not everything has to be doom & gloom) either. i write about a Lot of dark topics, especially to cope with trauma. nobody has the right to take that from me. a lot of my characters (& the i.ntrojects they are based on because remember they are muses but they're Also i.ntrojects, these are actual members of our s.ystem with feelings of their own) are flawed & traumatized. especially as a survivor of a lot of these said taboo things that most people in general dont like to talk about because they think it's a "dirty" subject myself as an actual survivor w/ did, i've said this before many times on this blog, i'm a c.sa survivor, i'm a c.ult survivor, i'm an i.ncest survivor & i'm no longer afraid to talk about it bc i'm with friends (i hope). it's vital. it's healing. it's important that it's talked about so people who've experienced these things don't feel alone. i can open up about it here. there's some stuff i'm uncomfortable with & i won't write, sure, there's some things i choose not to write that other moots of mine will & i'm not going to be holding that against them for writing about a topic or not (unless if like idk a portrayal of a character is racist or ableist, you get the point, hopefully) & just because I Don't Write Something Does Not Mean I'm Telling You Not To. that's silly imo.

that has Nothing to do with me or my trauma because a) i can differentiate between fiction & reality & b) it's. really weird. in the year 2024 that people will straight up automatically assume just because you write about a topic that somehow automatically means you support something irl when you. Don't Know That, You Do Not Know The Person & c) It's Not About Me & That's Okay & d) people shouldn't go around telling people what they should or shouldn't write as a general rule, we're all grown adults here, that's rude, unless, again, you're politely telling someone that something's off like idk someone writing ableist or racist about a character, don't just go guns blasting ESPECIALLY when you Already Know That Someone Writes About Dark Topics & You Continue Looking At It Anyway ie someone writes a muse that's a serial murderer & you don't like gore & you continue to follow that blog anyway. thats on You. that is Your responsibility. tags exist for a reason. as long as everything's tagged it should be fine) about a specific topic, that wouldn't Change anything. said topics would still exist even if every single person stopped writing about a topic. cults would still exist even if everyone were to stop writing about it. my trauma would still exist even if everyone were to stop writing about the specific things i went through. if i don't like something, all i gotta do is just keep scrolling or if necessary block a tag. (not a whole lot triggers me, there's a difference between squicks & triggers & i'm. tired of people conflating the two when they're entirely different things). i hate to say it because it should be obvious but people don't magically wake up one day & decide to do weird shit for the shits & giggles. there's this weird increasing trend to obsessively search for "problematic" media or "problematic" characters in media to justify demonizing or cancelling it (i'm not talking about like i.e t.wilight where it has actual harmful consequences for n.ative people, i'm talking about people Looking for shit to get mad at & then get shocked that people are like "?") & i'm gonna be honest, a Lot of this is starting to sound like conservative bookburning & a lot of this sounds like the shit my old c.ult leaders used to tell me. it's really that simple. what matters most of all is education about said topics that tbh i find sorely lacking. let's educate people first on what something actually is (for instance, an actual cult & signs) & then people will decide what to do about it & how they portray something. because regardless of what someone else does (& this was something i've had to accept over the years), Not Everything Is Made For Me & That's Okay, I Am Safe Now.

idk i just find that people (in general, i promise it's not at anyone in particular, it's just something i've been meaning to talk about for a long while after seeing some stuff on my dash both on my personal blog & on seeing some stuff in the asoiaf fandom & ngl a bunch of other fandoms too from like years ago so like please don't take this personally /srs) are like way too eager to jump to conclusions about people about all this different stuff when you literally don't know them, that's another person sitting on the other side of that screen that has feelings & sentiments the same way you do. i'm 24. i'm grown (& still growing!). if i've somehow caused offense by not making myself clear enough i'm sorry. that's an autism thing. can we stop acting like this. pls. i'm a grown ass adult & what do i do when i see smth i find wonky or squicky? (& even then sometimes something can fluid)? i look at it rq then i go "oh. thats wonky, oh well thats none of my business!!", i then mind my own business then i keep scrolling. not everyone's writing journey is gonna be the exact same way & that's OKAY. don't hold other people back just because it's not the way YOU write things. you're not better than anyone else. like i've straight up heard of people in a fandom saying "oh you like [x] because [y] portrays [x]" when that person is literally a survivor of that trauma. please. people. stop this shit. quit acting like you give a shit about trauma survivors when you only think there's one way of being a trauma survivor, the "perfect" survivor. learn media literacy. stop clutching pearls. people can skip certain scenes. i think people forget that some media are Meant to be uncomfortable. it's Meant to unsettle you. sometimes things are written as a warning. see: midsommar, a LOT of other horror media, a fuckton of gothic fiction, all of that shit. if you genuinely can't handle a theme, you're under no obligation to consume it but acting as if they have no purpose or as if people, ESPECIALLY survivors, don't have a right to tell these stories, stories that often relate to the darkest most disturbing parts of their life, do some introspection. ask yourself Why you think that. nothing wrong with self reflection. obviously, that's not to say there's no room for critique or concern but u get what i'm saying i hope. you can like something or even a character without endorsing the topics involved therein or the character(s) in question. sometimes things that are dark & disturbing can be cathartic for people who've been through absolute hell but i'm Also not going to be judging people for being like "okie dokie this isn't for me!!", that's okay, people don't have to consume anything they genuinely can't handle, that's why communication is literally SO important in all kinds of things but like don't force other people in your bubble when they wanna be in their own bubble ykwim. we're all different. do what makes You happiest.

it isn't that big of a deal irl (unless if we're talking about the obvious like racism, homophobia, transphobia, queerphobia, etc). basically what i'm trying to say is like. there's honestly way more shit to be worried about than what someone writes or rps. don't be the type of person to be morally outraged at what other grownass consenting adults are doing because there's gonna be shit that dont make sense to ya. Try to be compassionate towards other people. give other people a chance to talk if you're able to. even if you don't always agree with what they're saying. if you need to, do what needs to be done. every single person deserves respect & what we're Not going to do in the year 2024 is act shitty towards each other just because we don't agree on smth. what we're Not going to do is use people's real traumas for discourse points no matter which "side" (i guess) you fall onto. more than anything, i (& we) believe in nuance, kindness, compassion & respect for each other. we're s.hipcourse/f.andom disk horse unaligned. Summary: after spending the last 3 weeks on a bounty, din decides to give you the day off, but personal space was the last thing you wanted after spending so much time alone.

A/N: hi so i have never actually posted a fic before oop. i have them i just ~dont share~ so this is something new to try for now! 

Mando jumped when the hatch fell open, shaken out of light sleep. His hand immediately fell to the blaster tucked into the holster but froze when he saw her trudging up the ramp. She was holding some sort of drink in one hand, her other arm held out to the side as if she was walking on a balance beam. The girl was muttering under her breath, obviously concentrating way too hard on not spilling whatever liquid was frothing in the glass. 

When she got to the hull of the Razor Crest she let out an exasperated sigh. 

“Hey Mando!” the girl yelled a little too loud, “I’m home!!”

The Mandalorian said nothing. She leaned against the frame and held the glass out to him, panting and starting to slide to the floor.

“I- I got one for-for you!”

He had given her the day to be off on her own, considering how safe the new system they’d landed in was known to be. Maker, she’d spent the last three weeks couped up in the crest by herself. Cabin fever had never really gotten to him, but when he came back this time, bounty flung over his shoulder, it was obvious that it had gotten to her. 

He’d felt bad telling her to stay on the ship and only run to the shop when necessary, especially when she butted back in argument. The girl probably didn’t realize it was for her own good, a protective measure. She had rolled her eyes in annoyance, but when Mando didn’t falter in his stance through the fight she reluctantly agreed. He hadn’t meant to leave her alone this long, he truly thought it’d be just over a week, and there was a pang of guilt in his chest for leaving her here like this. 

In his absence, the girl had thoroughly redecorated the ship. All sorts of… things, crafts, maker-knows-whats, were sitting atop crates, hung on the walls, clearly made using whatever she’d found rummaging through the spare parts bin and in the singular shop connected to the docking bay.

There was a string of little flickering lights hanging across the hull, pieced together from old console controls. It looked like she had sewed together some old fabrics to create some sort of rug, too. 

The girl herself was asleep on the floor, surrounded by papers covered in writing and doodles. It was a mess- whatever she’d been writing was scattered and out of order. The kid was tucked under her arm, completely limp and snoring quietly. They looked like they’d passed out on the spot, mid-activity, on the Crest’s floor. She was wearing an odd combination of clothing he’d never seen before, had she made them herself? The child had a crown woven out of old wires sitting on his head, a matching one had clearly slipped out of her hair.

Mando silently thanked the stars not only for the fact that she was asleep when he got back, but that he had a layer of beskar to hide the smile he couldn’t keep from inching across his face. When he’d hired her a few months back to watch the kid and help copilot as needed, the girl had seemed so harsh. Her knuckles were scarred and she sneered when she called him out on his shit. Which she seemed to love to do. 

In the cockpit, they’d sit in silence for hours, something the Mandalorian usually valued with others, but he wished she’d say something. Anything. Occasionally he’d feel her eyes trained on his helmet, or he’d glance back at her to see her clearly thinking deeply about something, but it was never a shared thought. It was quiet. 

He’d never admit to it, but he was terrified that she was scared of him. Maker, she’d seen him come back out of breath and dragging a body behind him. She was always standing by when he was at his worst, catching her flinch out of the corner of his eye didn’t make it any better. 

But there were moments. Moments he was sure she hadn’t noticed him watching. Moments when she was soft. There were little things. Like how she always gripped the armrest a little tighter and squeezed her eyes shut right before they landed, or how she places a gentle kiss on the kid’s head every night before tucking him in. He doubted she was aware, but she sticks her tongue out just a little bit and fiddles with her necklace when she’s concentrating. Sometimes she leaves little reminders around the ship for them both; they’re always signed with a smiley face at the end. 

There were a few times he’d caught her humming to herself and dancing around on her toes. She was graceful- he wasn’t expecting that. For a fighter pilot with such a callous attitude, she was so delicate. So he stayed back, knowing she’d stop the moment she knew he was there. 

Or how she left a third woven crown hanging from his seat in the cockpit. No, she didn’t wear a helmet, but it was pretty clear that she hid behind her own layer of beskar, too.

But they had never shared a moment like this: the girl slumped in the door frame, holding a drink out to him with a straw stuck in it. The child toddled over to her.

“Hey little dude!” she put the drink on the floor and held her arms out to him. “Look, sorry I’m back just a little smidgen of a bit late,” she said, words slurring, bopping him lightly on the nose. “I sorta kinda,” the girl’s voice didn’t get any quieter as she tried to whisper, “forgot where we were parked.” She shook her head and held a finger to her lips, “Don’t tell Mando.”

The Mandalorian let out a sigh loud enough to be heard through the vocoder and her head whipped around to face him. “I’m-” she started to get up, “I’m sorry I’m a little bit,” she held on to the wall as she stumbled forward, “a little bit late.” With a huff she gave up and sat back down on the floor, but continued to scootch herself closer to him, only stopping a foot or so before his feet. 

Still, he was silent, and the color seemed to drain from her face. Under the cold stare of his visor, she tucked her head back like a child expecting to be scolded. After a few moments, she glanced nervously around the room, looking anywhere besides where she knew his eyes would be. She couldn’t tell the man in front of her was doing everything in his power to stifle a laugh as she struggled to sit up straight. 

“Hey, so you’re actually a reeaallly quiet person,” she said softly, fidgeting a bit, “and I don’t know if you know or realize it or not, or if it’s on purpose, b- but when you go all quiet like this I really don’t know- I mean I’m terrible at reading the room anyways- but I can’t tell if you’re mad and I just-”

He cut her off. “I’m not mad.” Her face lit up slightly. Honestly, he wished he was angry. He should have been angry. His ship was a mess. But when she sat in front of him like this, he found it hard to be even the slightest bit irritated. He’d asked her to be back before nightfall, and for once she didn’t ask why or argue back. 

“Oh.” She smiled softly then leaned all the way back so that her head skimmed the floor. She reached behind her, grabbing the blue drink and sliding it forward as she sat back up. “It was fun. Probably not your scene, I don’t really know, but the music was good, you would have liked that. You should have come.”

With a sigh, the Mandalorian rose to his feet and held a hand out to her, offering to help her up. She smiled again and let him pull her to her feet, immediately placing a hand on his shoulder to steady herself. His hand landed on her waist to keep her upright. “I don’t really do parties.”

She looked up at him. Somehow, even in her intoxicated state, she always managed to look him directly in the eye. “Yeah, I know. Sorta figured. To be really honest with you though, neither do I, I just wanted to do something a little bit different, yah know?” 

“I know.”

They stood there in silence for a minute, then she rested her head against his chest. He froze. She’d never shown an ounce of affection, let alone stand together like this. He knew she was drunk. He guessed the girl wouldn’t remember this in the morning. But still, he held her tightly and savored the moment. It couldn’t have been comfortable, but she leaned against him anyway. 

“But the credits I’d give to see you dance in this tin-man suit,” she knocked on his chest and giggled. 

“I don’t really dance.”

“Liar. You can so dance. No way you’re that quiet and sneaky and can’t.” Her nose scrunched up as she scoffed at him, poking at his chest plate. “Me, however, whew, you really don’t know what you missed, shiny. You’re holding the worst dancer on this side of the galaxy.”

His head cocked to the side and he paused, watching her poke fun at herself, thinking of all the times he’d caught her tiptoeing around with the child. All the times she would sing quietly and swing her hips while out and about. The words slipped out of his mouth before he could stop them, “No I’ve seen you dance, you dance all the time.”

Her lips parted as a confused look fell across her face. He couldn’t fully read her expression, but it was clear a million thoughts were flooding her brain. He was instantly worried that he’d offended her. Not only had he invaded her privacy- he admitted it to her face. He worried she’d step away and the moment would end, that she’d go to bed and leave in the morning, taking her pay and her bag. But with one eyebrow raised and a soft smile playing across her face, she wrapped both arms around his neck. 

“So I guess you owe me one then, huh? I brought you back a drink and everything.”

You picked up on his almost inaudible laugh even through the modulator. Sure, you’d had a few drinks. You had been a little past the point of tipsy as you neared the Crest, but you were coming to your senses now. Were you over-exaggerating your state of mind? Most indefinitely. You couldn’t help it, though. The last 3 weeks had been an absolute shit-show. 

You were fine until the end of the first week, then you started to get worried. The thought of him kept you up at night, so you told yourself that there was no way you could have possibly missed him. You only cared because this was your wellbeing now. I mean, before you got this position you spent every minute alone, too. This wasn’t any different. 

Except that it was. And you hated that it was. This was just supposed to be another job. Somehow this man in a metal suit had weaseled his way into a soft spot in your heart.

He’d been so patient. Sure, you knew how to fly a ship, and you’re not clueless when it comes to mechanics, but this ship was unlike anything you’d seen before. So he taught you. 

When he came back bloodied and bruised, he’d explain exactly what he needed you to do. In one instance he had gently guided your hand, slowly realizing he didn’t have to patch himself up anymore. Maybe he liked having you there. It was impossible to tell; maker, the few times you’d tried small talk it seemed to push him away even further. 

But you didn’t want him further away. 

You wanted him right here.

Figured that one out week two. 

Week three the kid decided you didn’t need sleep. He cried and whined until you hung up that makeshift strand of lights. Then he sat and stared up at them like they were the most beautiful thing in the galaxy. So you made more things to pass the time. And more. And more. 

You don’t even remember finally falling asleep, so waking up in the cot was a surprise. You slipped out of bed to figure out what was going on but stopped dead in your tracks when you heard him laugh.

The hatch to the cockpit was open, and from the low angle, you could just barely see the child sitting on the Mandalorian’s lap. 

“It looks cute on you, kid.” The baby giggled and reached out for his arms. The wire crown was sitting on his head again. “How does mine look?” 

The crown you barely remembered making for him during the third-week fever dream was clearly resting on his head, atop the helmet and all. The baby cooed.

When you landed he practically announced that the day was yours and you were free to go off and enjoy yourself. You thought about asking him to tag along but worried it’d be overstepping. Maker, the man had to have been just as, or even more, exhausted as you. Your pity didn’t run too deep, though. You knew it was selfish, but you hoped that maybe he’d want to be with you.

You tried your hardest to not seem disappointed when you turned to see him still in the hull as you strode down the gangway. You walked to clear your mind before popping into a cantina, which ended up being the center of life, and finding peace with the bottle. 

The buzz had almost completely worn off by now, and you were back. And he was back. And he was holding you like he couldn’t risk letting you go.

He looked down at her and let out a sigh. “Next time, sweet girl. We need to get you to bed before you’re out on the floor.”

Her face flushed pink at the sound of his words. Stars, at least he hoped that was why. He could practically see the wheels turning behind her eyes asking, ‘sweet girl? When did you get so soft on me?’ 

She pushed up on her toes, flattening her body completely against his. Her arms were still around his neck, and he carefully brought his hands together behind her waist. Had he not been wearing the kriffing helmet he would have been able to feel her breath against his neck as she nestled herself impossibly closer. 

“Can I tell you a secret?” she whispered.

He gave a curt nod, his body stiff and tense under her.

“I wanted to leave the second after it started,” Her voice dropped even lower and her eyes fluttered shut, “... figured it’d be more fun here with you.” 

His heart stilled as he realized her invisible beskar helmet had been lifted. He hoped it fell from her shoulders and rolled down the ramp, was lost in the night, maybe even stolen by scavengers, never to be seen between the two of them again. 

She could feel his grip on her back tighten as his head relaxed onto her shoulder.    

“Tomorrow night we’ll stay in,” his voice was just loud enough to pass through the modulator.  

A smile crept across her face, “I’ll hold you to it, Mando.”

“I’m a man of my word.”

“I know.”

So to put into summary,

Hamako is a siren and in Hamako’s world due to what sirens have done to many sailors in the past, they are hunted and killed like animals and this led Hamako to being independent and value her life above all else, not hesitating to dirty her hands if she feels her life or endangered:

While on the run from hunters and events she doesn’t know, she ends up in Twisted Wonderland.

During her meeting with Grim, she nearly murders him since she felt threatened. Was stopped by Crowley, Grim is scared.

The mirror notes that Hamako is supposedly magicless yet it can sense she has “special” magic and is sorted into Octavinelle due to her intelligence and because she’s a siren.

(If you’re wondering why the magic mirror can’t tell she’s a siren. A.) her gills are hidden cause she’s worried sirens are still hunted there and B.) Siren abilities are magic to an extent but it doesn’t have an aura so the magic mirror can’t feel it but it can tell there’s something special about her)

Azul takes immediate interest because of Hamako supposedly being special and after Hamako is settled into Octavinelle, Jade ends up using “Shock the Heart” on her for her to reveal she is a siren.

Hamako now works at Mostro Lounge as a singer cause capitalism and Floyd takes interest in her because she’s both a girl and a fellow mer for him to play with.

Wrestled with Floyd several time when he tried to squeeze her leading him to try more because Hamako felt threatened but Jade eventually decided after it got repetitive to explain its not a threat and Hamako accepted her fate.

(Yes he’s the ship. It was originally gonna be Azul but the more I wrote Hamako, Floyd just worked)

Post overblot Riddle causes Hamako’s physical strength to become even clearer and Azul tries to rope Hamako into a contract so she can work as his underling but Hamako just negotiates for payment to work with the Leech twins. She’s not gonna touch that shit.

(Note: Hamako though works with the Leech twins, Azul doesn’t let her anywhere near the contracts and personal stuff which should be obvious cause he hasn’t known Hamako for long)

Desperately wanted to draw the boy, so take humanization.

Gotta say, I think this my best one yet. I'm experimenting with colours and shadows/highlights and it made this look so much better than with just flat colouring. Imma do more of this, but for now take the precious golden child!

Idk why I wrote that in fancy text also hi I'm bored and have several other AU ideas SEND HELP PLEASE

I do have some ideas on how this would work, so I'll just throw them here while I suffer under blooming AU ideas.

This would probably have to be a timeline without Cream or Nightkiller/Fluffynightkiller, but everyone can still vibe together.

Cross and Nightmare wouldn't stand being around each other for too long but in secret really want to spend all the time in the world with each other. It gets to the point where it's very obvious to basically everyone but them, and a few other people (probably Dream and Killer, maybe Ink as well) decide to try and bring them together somehow, despite constant glaring and just the inability to not annoy the hell out of each other.

They end up sorta understanding each other and their personalities and slowly connect until they can be left alone together for an extended period of time without attempting to kill each other.

Idk who'd confess first or what would happen and all that, I'm just spitting words out here and hoping sense can be made of them.

I shall now desperately wipe words off my whiteboard to make space for a whole idea that's forming that I know won't leave me unless I do something about it and maybe draft some designs and concepts and all that.

Thought: Deltarune AU where the school has to put up with a very anti-LGBT teacher who holds semi-weekly "talks" about how they should all be anti-LGBT as well. Kris decides to p*ss off that teacher as much as they can while obtaining a relationship at the same time. Susie, Noelle and Berdly all randomly join them in detention and they all bond over being part of the community and just vibing.

It switches between angst, problems and dealing with toxicity to just fluff and vibing together.

gonna give a dumb ass answer but... i can't...? i don't really know how much one should be "appreciated", like what is the "right amount" and whether or not this person receives it. the amount of notes/likes doesn't always represent that and also i don't look there at all.. also this one random artist can have multiple accs on different platforms with different engagements and all that... so how do i really know what's up with them? and once again i don't think i sit around thinking Damn this person needs more likes !! .. i just like/rb whatever i want and it's epic lashdjlksajdlk also i'm not sure if i have strong attachments to certain creators.. uhhh well first of all I think childe x zhongli is like the most pathetic and boring "default" pairing this fandom came up with. they have 0 chemistry and I just hate everything about it. as much as I headcanon both as queers... together romantically it feels like 2 straight men put together by ya*i fans............ also before i blacklisted to ship and voluntarily looked through the ship tag... every post felt like a hard ooc. i could not understand what childe or zhongli are supposed to be as individuals, what they have in common, what kind of dynamic they have. deadass most crack ships with 0 interactions have more flavor than this tragedy

eng VAs are great people and appreciate their work but whoever decides the voices ain't doing it right. every male character sounds like a middle-aged white man.. and most of the youngest characters sound like very obvious adults trying to pretend to be babies. all of it irks me so bad god.. and there are so many characters that lose their little spark in eng........ (yet in korean and chinese they're completely fine??)

all of the playable adult male characters are shitty people in one way or another. none of them are good. they have reasons and different perspectives, yes, but they suck. every single one of them. stop ignoring it or trying to say only some are evil. none of them are inherently terrible.. but they're not these precious and righteous individuals. they're men.................... that says a lot, actually. :\

and as for women? god i hate the idea that they're all so uninteresting and weak. lichrally just a bunch of girlbosses, morals of most could be questioned as well... anyways some of the girls not having extremely dramatic stories doesn't make them any less cool. let them be

also all archons suck it's ok. you can still love them while acknowledging that they've done some shit. ALSO stop demonizing venti .. and now baal, while praising zhongli- he's an old loser stop lying to yourself. i hate when people present him as the only good archon, the voice of reason who is just so cool and collected but also ahh so cutely silly about mora !!!............. bitch the story quest of liyue is just one zhongli-is-a-fucking-moron campaign idk did yall skip it or something............ and even then it's ok to like him, he does have his logic/reasons/beliefs that justify his actions... he is not a good guy or archon tho.

shipping archons/adepti/whatever the fuck that isn't a basic human with a basic human is super weird. i mean the power dynamic will be completely fucked and ages? lord almighty... basically mortals should stay with mortals... the rest goes to baby jail except maybe ganyu she's a good girl

Bad Batch thoughts & predictions Ep 12

Continuing these written reactions/predictions somewhere cause itd be fun I think to see what actually ends up happening and remembering what I thought at the time so im dumping it here, youre welcome. (Feel free to discuss if you want) if you want to keep up with it im gonna be tagging these as #jay rambles about bb

- So I sort of expected it by the end of last episode but it seems like last episode was a start of an episode arc about hera's family, which, for rebel's fans I'm sure it's cool and exciting and maybe answers some questions or will actually show things discussed in rebels maybe, but as someone who hasn't seen rebels yet, I really hope this episode and the next few have more bad batch screentime, cause we were a little robbed last episode lol (but in a way I do still enjoy this stuff too, because im sure when I DO watch rebels it'll make the experience better). -- I'm not disliking this arc or anything, but up to this point we've kind of had almost mandalorian style 'one episode one adventure' sorts of episodes, and personally I really hope we get more of that (which I think we will), because while this is all new content and everything, we all have to admit clone wars had some less interesting filler arcs here and there, and I just hope bb doesn't fall the same way (across all of its seasons, im not very concerned about it so far from what we've seen of season 1) because if there is filler, I'd rather sit through a couple of the one episode stories, rather than a 3-4 episode story that takes nearly a month to get through if im disliking it, mostly for the fact that even if we got those 1 ep fillers, its more stories and more likely I'd like at least one. ---kinda rambling about this unnecessarily atm cause while again right now I think bb is fine, I just want the future to be that way too. - fffff every time I see howzer on screen I think of that fucking audio thats "here comes the boy, hello boy~" and honestly can you blame me he is so precious like ugh I swear dave you better be nice to him -- YOU CAN TELL HE FEELS SO BAD AND GUILTY LIKE IT HURTS - hey admiral can you not be MEAN to howzer when he is trying to be fucking helpful -- ;-; BRO im saying it so much already but I feel so bad for howzer like dude someone help him --- imo it feels like its sort of setting up howzer for something more important in the show kinda, at least for his character. Like we can clearly tell he doesn't really agree with the empire and I think they're going to do something with that. He's probably undercover for someone against the empire but I get the bad feeling they're gonna pull a Fives and have him go against the empire and help everyone else somehow but then he will probably end up dead because we cant have nice things. - hello cross... bet you wont be saved this episode - Ok good, some more bad batch here already. -- ALSO GONKY BEING DEFECTIVE!!!! EVEN GONKY IS DEFECTIVE LIKE BB THATS SO CUTE! - uh, im not the only one getting the leia transmission vibes from hera, right? -- ok, again I haven't seen rebels so I dont know BUT if hera has the ability to talk to bb, couldn't she have done so in rebels? Yeah she's older and im sure better at fighting and defending herself and all that, but wouldn't it still be possible for her to have gotten in some kind of rough situation in Rebels to ask for bb's help again? I super doubt bb made any appearance of any kind in Rebels, so doesn't that imply that she lost communications with them? What happens to bad batch >> - bad batch not wanting to help but because omega really wants to you can see its making hunter soften up and I appreciate it - bruh what??? Taa is dead af, like theres no way the show is gonna pull some magic and be like 'oh yep here he is' thing??? Like this has to be a lie, but even then, what even is the plan here?? Saying "oh hes recovering" well he can't be recovering forever, how does that seem like a good plan to lie about that?? People are gonna find out?? - "Great just what we need" from Wrecker about crosshair MAKES ME ANGRY LIKE??? YES?? DONT BE MAD AT HIM ITS NOT HIS FAULT??? SAVE YOUR FUCKING BOY??? -- oooo then the rest of bb doesn't comment about it literally gsjrkgbdkfbg why do they not care about him???? Like it seems they legitimately dont care about crosshair, even though theyve been together for so long like even before the show came out they

had history together and were all really close. I know people argue "oh well its just difficult to save him and its unrealistic for them right now" but so what? Even if they aren't trying to save him they should at least CARE about him. --- Which is also like the thing with echo and fives!!!! Like Echo didn't seem to care much at all when Rex mentioned fives even a little! Or even about seeing Rex that much!! Dave I'm gonna need some answers my guy, cause you humanized these characters but then you dont make them act that way so like whats up. - Lucky hunters abilities came in handy - Back to crosshair for a second im predicting they 100% arent saving him this season. There was a poster released part way through the season and he's not even on it... makes me so sad. - "I'd do the same for you." ;-; that didnt need to get that deep - CROSSHAIR BETTER NOT START SHIT WITH HOWZER - Howzer helping Hera's parents or at least implying that is good but that also means im right so far and therefore worried >> -- HES GOING TO GET FUCKING CAUGHT I BET TALKING TO THEM LIKE THIS AT SOME POINT AND HOW MUCH DO YOU WANNA BET ITS GONNA BE CROSSHAIR THAT CATCHES HIM --- Cham stfu its literally so obvious that howzer is trying to be genuine, also if he's kind of undercover for him like what the fuck do you expect howzer to do if he has to play along with the empire to keep his cover?? "Won't make that mistake again" Fuck off like honestly. ---- #stopbeingmeantohowzer2021 - "A little help" and the gentle "Hey" ahh love it - I'm really enjoying this whole them fighting in the ships sequence - "Stay here and guard the capitol" SCARES ME -- Please for the love of god bad batch don't get howzer killed --- or plot B Bad batch maybe run into howzer but save him and take him with you at least temporarily ---- oh god.... bb is helping heras parents escape and that means howzers gonna get in trouble.../probably replaced by crosshair - Crosshair is smart but thats also badddd - The scene of howzer and crosshair looking at each other is killing meeeeeeeee - Ohhh is howzer gonna stop them before they go out the door? -- YES HE IS SEE WHAT A GOOD BOY HE IS - (please fucking listen to him I beg) - Aw dude I just had a thought that breaks my heart... howzer cares about his squad and "trying to get through to them" but what if his squad is clones as well and the chips... that hurts me so badly... -- Like we all know howzer is a sweet boy by now but ughhh like the thought that he doesnt want to leave them even though they are doing whats wrong shows just how much he cares and I really hope he doesn't get into trouble because of what he's saying to them, but you know he totally would do it because he seems to care about them so much and :( bad batch more like sad batch --- This is the kind of compassion I wanted from bb for crosshair hunter kind of looks back at howzer as they leave him and I doubt itll mean anything but I really hope that maybe seeing how much howzer cares will make hunter care a little too... - *sigh* howzer is getting left behind by them which we know why but yeah... now he's definitely going to be in trouble... I just hope they don't hurt him... - OH GOD HOWZER BABY DONT -- He's making a speech and I know he's trying to sway them but you know damn well this is gonna go so badly for him because of the chips and crosshair is watching so you know howzer is gonna get fucked here and I know what hes trying for but I really wish he didnt just do that because now its blatantly obvious he's gonna be against them ;-; - Wow ok im kinda shocked people are siding with him (I guess cause theyre not all clones right) but I feel so bad for themmmmm - Crosshair missed multiple shots? Uh what? I didnt think that was possible lol - bb please come back for howzer and the others at some point.... -- I guess maybe if hera's parents are going to organize rebels against the empire maybe they will help them but I somewhat doubt it... - Ok I know that crosshair requesting to hunt them was supposed to be this big moment and all but I

can't help but feel like its a little underwhelming (but dont get me wrong still cool vibes) because he's kind of already been doing that anyway?? Or has tried to several times?? So I don't get why its a big deal, however, I do have a possible prediction: We know that bb got their chips removed, (crosshair doesn't, I know that) and so that eliminates the idea that they will get caught and actually go bad like crosshair, but it does leave a possibility where maybe they get captured and then *pretend* to be bad? And that could lead to a better possibility of helping crosshair (they wont) or maybe howzer and the other rebels or something? Cause I also feel like its significant that they brought up how the war will eventually come to them and bb will be a part of it no matter what eventually, and it makes obvious sense theyd be on the rebels side of it, so maybe something like that goes on, idk.

i dont want this to come off as rude bc i dont have anything *against* it at all (i am very pro shipping, especially with awsten bc of the pocast) but i do kinda wonder what the thought process behind shipping aws and otto is. mostly bc of the whole thing with otto's girlfriend being awsten's ex. idk if i'm just being too obsessed with realism (which i do have an affinity for, so it's possible) but it just seems like they'd have a really weird irl romantic relationship because of it.

hi anon!! this doesnt come off as rude, dw!! let me preface this by saying im ALSO obsessed with realism; you can see it in every fic i write, every Lore Piece i bring up, and every time i like cross-check a video and analyze it lol. i have a detailed timeline in my mind for basically every ship/band i like, parx included. and i think thats good! to me, the fun of liking a band or an rpf fandom is the three-dimensional, authentic relationships between people, however you interpret them.

im not going to lie; i dont like the gr*ce thing. i dont! i think its extremely shady, and even outside of the relationship with otto and/or awsten i think her public behavior online has been abhorrent for years. the more i learn about it/the way she acts and has acted the more strongly i feel this way. i wont get into it further right now, and i dont want any messages telling me why i should feel X way or Y way instead. i hated the whole situation so much it nearly stopped me from getting into parx at all when i first found out about it. THAT is how much i hate it, and when things are publicly aired (not leaked, aired) on the internet it is everyones right to form their own opinions about them.

that being said, for the sake of this ask, let me take off my rpf goggles for a second. the relationship between awsten and otto runs SO deep. they met when awsten was 17 and otto was 18 and have stayed close for more than a decade. the chemistry they have is immediately evident and obvious!! watch any clip in the many many videos in my awtto moments tag or look through my awtto tag or the awtto tags of my friends or ANYTHING and i think youll see!!! i really do!! its clearly a very deep friendship that i think can easily be interpreted as romantic, which is why i like to :-)

when the whole Thing happened, it was the fall of 2015. waterparks wasnt big enough at that point to be unable to bounce back if, say, their drummer got kicked out. the fact that awsten has made several public (shady, but like, thats his right i think) negative comments about his ex and the situation, but never about otto, says something to me. actually when the whole thing went down someone asked him on ask.fm if he and otto were fighting and he replied something like “me and otto are tight, always have been, always will be. nothing will change that” (i cant link bc theres no way to search beyond scrolling all the way down like a madman sorry BUT ITS THERE). all this is to say, an awtto reading of the situation actually makes MORE sense to me instead of less: if otto werent really, incredibly special to awsten, more so than a normal friend, i FULLY believe this would have ended in a. a broken friendship b. a swift kick out of the band c. a fistfight or d. all of the above.

obviously we will never know the whole story, nor is it ours to know. but i dont think awsten “writes 2 albums and several demos about ONE relationship betrayal” knight would just suck it up and let this slide if he REALLY harbored any ire for otto. no other explanation makes as much sense to me as “otto is really just that special to him” personally. youd kinda think theyd have a super weird FRIENDSHIP relationship irl too, right?? but they dont seem to!

in conclusion, i want to say i totally get the mental block youre facing right now. i was there too, like i said!! im not gonna be like “SO ALL OF THIS IS WHY YOU HAVE TO SHIP AWTTO BYEEEE” but i hope it clears up my thought process for you a bit <:-) i really appreciate the kind and respectful way you worded this and rock on with the pro-shipping stance, i agree!!! especially with the podcast yo!! if you have questions or want to talk more in-depth off anon i promise to keep it totally confidential. thanks for ur ask!!

But onto the main topic at hand! 8′D I honestly and truly do not understand why there’s a severe lack of Tareo fan content here, when this kid has the most narrative relevance with such direct ties to both Garou’s humanity and character development. :O I truly don’t understand why there’s so much more of Zenko (art, headcanons, everything), when she in comparison to Tareo only showed up once in the story. Tareo is a good boy too! It’s incredibly baffling to me, to the point I must confess, but I usually have to end up passing on so much good fan content because they almost always forget to include Tareo. :’) I can feel that elephant in the room dissonance with it (that something that should be obvious and addressed is conspicuously missing) and so most content I see just doesn’t click with me because of that. ;.;

The child who’s practically a surrogate nephew or little brother to him, who Garou sees part of his past self in, who he’s instinctively and selflessly driven time and again to save/protect despite all he tries to act otherwise (putting himself in mortal danger for, when, with him trying to be a ‘monster’ and all, he really doesn’t have to!), who instigates some of Garou’s strongest character defining moments and is the catalyst to some of his greatest feats of power/growth, who finally helps Garou see the light (finally gets thru to him understanding the truth about himself and true heroism) and allows him to regain the will to live is an incredibly strong and powerful concept. :O Therefore, I’m incredibly grateful when I see content that remembers/includes Tareo too. (Like…grovel at those content makers’ feet worthy!! ;o;) So honestly same, I would love to see more of him, cause he’s important/relevant to the story, so hopefully there’s more of him by the time the manga reaches that beautiful denouement of Garou’s arc! :’D

YESSSSSSSS Aizawa and Mic are high school friends so I’m pretty sure it’s canon they waste time together, Blood King and Dog Hound are canon pals too so they also most probs chill together too! Blood King is also the same age as Aizawa and Mic so they probs used to go to school together too!!! And with Dog Hound being 32, Midnight being 31 and Cementoss and Thirteen being 28 they’re more or less all the same age, so I like to think they spend free time together~ some scenes with the teachers make me think they’re good pals with the older ones too, it’s a really fun group of people to be honest!

Yes she is!!!!! I like to think Jirou’s got at least basic knowledge for how to play any instrument ever, so when she’s laying around in the common room once she got used to her friends listening to her play she’d bring with herself the smaller and easier ones to carry! An ukulele has a super nice sound and is small enough to bring around the dorms haha

But I can’t find it, so in general my take is that I highly doubt Bakugou’s body isn’t built to withstand and not take damage from his own quirk (since his hands are made to hold up with it, I feel like the rest of his body is tailored around his quirk too), but I’m always up for disabled characters and the idea of Bakugou signing is beautiful to me, so I don’t mind the AU one bit! Dunno if I’ll ever draw for it tho, drawing jsl when I don’t know it is hard. I know that from experience.

That said, I do find the fics in which Bakugou becomes deaf because of his quirk a bit hard to believe most of the times? Because in all of them his ears are the only things taking damage for the continuous use of his quirk and I just sit here like, his eyes should be taking damage too. Normal eyes aren’t made to withstand explosions and stun grenades every day all day, so if his ears aren’t biologically made to hold against his quirk his eyes shouldn’t be either. 

Like, I read those fics and I find them real hard to believe because the authors aren’t pushing it hard enough, for me it’s either no damage at all or hoh AND visually impaired Bakugou, boy can’t be only half built to withstand his quirk that’d just be silly haha but that’s probably just me, the AU is Good 👍

oh my god. lance was not “really fucking rough” to keith after shiro’s disappearance. he was objectively the most supportive of keith during shiro’s disappearance, and a single rude comment does not negate all of that. 

first of all, lance was the one to approach keith to comfort him about shiro. he didn’t need to do that. no one asked him to. seeing keith hurt like that upset lance, so he decided to try to validate him and make him feel better. and hey, guess what? it worked! 

second of all, lance was the one to convince keith to accept being the black paladin, while also validating keith by saying that no one can replace shiro. and guess what? it worked, again!

third of all, lance was the one to support keith as the black paladin, even when keith was selfish and wanted to leave allura behind (she could have been seriously hurt but he didn’t think of this!) and was just mean to the entire team and kept fucking up. (yeah, keith can be a cruel, selfish asshole too! and his actions aren’t more justified/excusable than lance’s or allura’s when they’re struggling.) 

fourth of all, keith gave lance so many fond looks during that season, clearly indicating that he does not in any way hold a grudge, that he appreciates lance’s support, and that he views lance as a reliable, trustworthy friend. 

this single sentence does not a) qualify as “fucking tearing into keith”; b) represent lance’s overall reaction to keith’s suffering during this time. 

was it a cruel comment for lance to make? absolutely! it deeply hurt keith and lance had no right to say something like that. however, by no stretch of the imagination does this negate the good that lance did for keith during this season. 

how can you say you love lance, and ship him with allura, when you don’t even trust him? if keith shouldn’t trust him, then why should allura? this reminds me of the argument that the bad klance shippers use when trying to undermine allurance--saying lance is a Nice Guy, but then shipping him with keith, as if that would make lance not a Nice Guy. if lance is untrustworthy/a Nice Guy, then he’ll be that person whether he’s dating allura or keith or neither, so by that logic, wouldn’t you ship him with no one? 

i understand that this hit home for you, but there was no need to add this to my friend’s post saying the exact opposite. if you want to privately vent about your own personal reactions to lance in season 3, then do that privately--don’t add shady tags to someone else’s post.
