I usually only keep my current teammates in my teapot, but my Scaramouche (who I’ve called Revali) will always keep his room. Because even a Wanderer needs a place to call home v___v

“Traveler.”

His voice has an irritated undertone, reminiscent of long bygone days. The Traveler glances at him once -watching her from across the dinner table, his cup of tea long since empty- and sighs.

It’s been a long day of running errands. She hopes he’s not looking to start an argument.

“What’s up, Revali?”

“Why am I still staying in your teapot?”

To say the question baffles her is an understatement- why shouldn’t he be in her teapot? He has his own room to retreat to, as well as a small area outside to meditate in and practice using his newly acquired Vision.

“...what do you mean by that? Is something not to your liking?” Perhaps it wasn’t a good idea to put Inazuman-style furniture into his room. A poor choice on her behalf, it seems.

“No, no, it’s all quite alright. But... I’ve been watching how you treat your other... friends. None of them seem to have their own room, and they usually leave after having given you their Namecard. I’ve given you mine, and yet I’m still welcome to stay?”

The Traveler feels his Anemo Vision stir to life, as if signaling that its Holder is feeling... threatened, perhaps?

“Of course. I did promise your Auntie to keep an eye on you, didn’t I?”

As she begins setting the table, she feels his eyes on her- like he’s pondering over her words, not quite sure if he wants to believe them.

“So, this is more of a charity-case, yes?”

“Of course not. See, you’re free to go out and explore, if that is what you desire- but when you grow tired of wandering, my teapot will always welcome you back home. My friends typically stay here for as long as we travel together- and return home once we part ways. Their Namecards are a nice way to remember our time together, nothing more, nothing less.”

“...”

“You’re not used to having a place to call home, I take it?”

“...it’s... not something I’m familiar with, no.”

“That’s quite alright, Revali. Just... know that you will always have a place in my teapot, for as long as you wish.”

“...thank you.”
