i havent written a cooking post in a while due to fatigue/depression/being busy with other objectives, but maybe ill do a small non-themed recipe to ease back into it?

Hi!! I just wanted to say thank you for your recipe series, I've been battling with depression and fatigue a lot recently but the honey cakes that you drew and spoke about looked so lovely it gave me enough motivation to get up and try it out. Unsurprisingly it took me a few hours to do and i am Knackered but they turned out beautifully, so so sweet and worth it. It's the little things that help and i was really happy to have something to look forward to today. Thanks so much and all the best to you! <3

hi ive had this saved in my inbox since the halloween you sent it. this is one of the sweetest messages ive recieved about my art ever and i kept going back to look at it. as someone with frequent fatigue i know how all encompassing it is and the prospect of you pushing through to make these, and then having a Little Treat to look forward to- is indescribably heartening

im very proud of and happy for you, that you were able to make and enjoy those honey cakes. it is difficult out there and indeed having things to look forward to makes it a bit more bearable.
