Tsuyu hosted a sleep over at her room and all of Class 3-A girls are invited.  Obviously, a sleep over won't be complete without fluffy cushions, games, gossips and a special mention of Yaoyorozu's tea.

You guys have been playing truth or dare for a while, it's just you and Uraraka that hasn't got their turns which makes you uneasy. You honestly don't know what Mina would ask you to do and you've already seen the things the girls did. One thing's for sure, this woman is scary.

"So...... Izuku right?" Mina asked as she turned to Uraraka who's face is now turning bright red.

"I don't like where this is going" Uraraka replied, trying to hide her flushed face in the palm of her hands, which activated her quirk, causing her to float around the room.

Mina giggled a little maniacally at Ochaco's words. In her head, she's thinking of all the things she would have her do, but you know she won't torment the poor girl that much. The pink haired removed "truth" as a choice because according to her, that's no fun at all. The girls agreed, including you, which you kind of regret now.

"So the dare is--" she paused, thinking for a second. "You need to send Midoriya a selfie. You can't tell him it's for a dare tho" this made Uraraka groan as she sat back beside Jirou. 

"Oh! You need to ask his opinion about your new necklace as well" Hagakure added and Yaoyorozu agreed. The girls gave each other a high five while Uraraka let out a defeated sigh.

She opened her front camera and positioned the phone above her head, tugging on the chain slightly. She showed us the picture before sending it to Izuku. The picture was rather suggestive in your opinion; the angle made her necklace pop up, but the top part of her bossom is visible in the background, it didn't help that her face is a little red in the photo as well.  

Uraraka:    *Sent a photo* 

                   Deku-kun, what do you think of new my necklace?

"Now we wait" Mina cheerfully said and turned to you "You've been awfully quiet y/n" you can't help but to notice that grin plastered on her face and you know damn well she's up to no good.

"Let's get this over with" you told her with a sigh. You just wanted to quickly finish whatever suffering she's going to put you through.

Jirou pulled out her phone, searched for something before handing it to Mina. While they were busy discussing something, you nervously turned to Momo who's currently adjusting the eyeglasses he took from Iida "Can I back out?"  but she just gave you a cheeky smile and a pat on the shoulder. "Goodluck" 

Momo was the first one to be dared; her dare was to walk up to Iida, grab his glasses, wear it in front of him and walk away without saying anything. Tsuyu was dared to sit on Shoji's lap for 20 minutes. Hagakure had to confess on her long time crush, Ojiro, and lastly, Jirou was dared to shower Denki with praises for 10 minutes straight. Mina, on the other hand, was dared to kiss Bakugo on the cheeks, and you can already guess what happened next.                                                         

A phone was shoved into your line of sight. "You need to do this" Mina said while she pointed at the phone with a video playing. You look at her horrified but she just laughed at your face. 

"But with who?" Tsuyu asked.

"Todoroki" Uraraka grinned. 

"Yep. Definitely Todoroki." Jirou crossed her arms and nodded while her eyes are closed. 

You looked at them confused.  Although you do have a  crush on Shoto, you have never told anyone about it nor show even a slight interest at him. You can feel your face heat up at the sudden realization that your friends knows about your little crush on him all along. 

You sighed in defeat and just accepted the dare. What can possibly go wrong, right?

"We'll be watching" Mina winked at you as you guys marched towards the common area where the boys are hanging out. The girls stopped by the stairs, peeking a little. You made your way towards the couch where Kirishima and Shoto are sitting.  

"Yo, y/n" Kiri greeted you and you just replied with a nod.

You sat beside Shoto who was munching on a chocolate chip cookie. He offered you a piece which you happily took and ate beside him. 

"Oh this is good! Who made this?" you asked.

"I made it" Shoto turned to you. "I asked Kirishima and Bakugo to teach me" you nodded and quickly look away. You quietly scanned the whole room; Kiri and Shoto are minding their own business eating the cookies Shoto made, the Baku-squad are playing a video game while Izuku and the others are playing a monopoly game, though Izuku isn't really playing, he's just staring at the screen of his phone, looking very red. 

You can't help but to chuckle to yourself. You quickly glanced towards the girls and Mina mouthed "now". Unbeknownst to you, Kiri was also looking at the girls direction, when your eyes landed on him, he gave you a confused look and you just replied with an apologetic look. His mouth turned into a circle when realization hits him.

'A game huh' he mouthed and you answered with a nod.

"Shoto" you turned to him.

"Yes?" 

"Can we--" here goes nothing "make...love?" You can see Kirishima choke on his cookie in your peripheral vision.

"Make love?" he asked, confused. 

You nodded. You can feel your face heat up. You looked away, not wanting to see the look on Shoto's face, you mentally wished that the couch would swallow you up because of the embarassment you feel.

You don't know what Shoto's response will be, but knowing him, you're sure he'll be nice at least. You mentally braced yourself for a rejection you're about to face. Or so you thought.

"Sure, but do we even have the ingredients for that?" 

"What?" You and Kirishima said in unison. 

Shoto looked at you two, confusion visible on his face. 

"This is the first time I've heard about that dish" he stated. Kirishima snorted and finally let out the laugh he's been holding for so long, while you bit your inner cheek to hold back yours. Shoto on the other hand, ignored the red head and called Bakugo instead.

"Bakugo, can you send me the ingredients for love?" he asked as he pulled out his phone and started searching for the dish called love. 

"What the fuck, Icy-Hot?!" Bakugo yelled, his eyes landed on Shoto, his face looking like he just heard the stupidest thing in the world. This took the attention of your other classmates as well.

His gaze left his phone, he quickly looked at you then at Bakugo "Y/n said they wanted to make lov-" you hurriedly jumped from your seat to cover Shoto's mouth. 

"Ah! Oh my gosh don't mind him! It's a dare!" You half shouted.  Your classmates just laughed at you, you can feel your face heat up due to embarrassment. 

'Screw you Mina' you thought to yourself.

"Didn't know you're freaky like that y/n" Denki teased you. The others gave you a teasing look as well.

"It's a dare!" You shouted in horror. 

"Sure, if you say so" he and the others laughed and get back to playing again. Kirishima, who's laughing with the others, stood up and bid farewell to the both of you. "I'll leave you guys to your own business" he said with a wink. 

You just sighed. You're pretty sure all of your classmates will be teasing you for the next few days. 

"Y/n" Shoto mumbled under your hand. 

You quickly removed your hand from his mouth and apologized. "Sorry" you said awkwardly as you sat back on your spot again.

He just hummed. Silence took over the both of you. You quietly glanced towards the stairs and the girls are nowhere to be seen. They must've gone back to Tsuyu's room. You contemplated whether to go back to her room or not. 

You let your eyes wander and it stopped at his phone, a search tab was open and it was an article about "make love". You turned to face Shoto, you opened your mouth to explain about the dare, but before you can say something, he pulled you by the collar of your shirt and gave you a peck on the lips. 

You stared at him, wide eyed.

"I can't exactly give you what you want right now but I'm pretty sure a kiss will suffice?" he said.

"Wha-" he kissed you again. This time it was longer, until it was interrupted when a throw pillow hit the back of his head. 

"Get a room you fucking dumbasses!!" it was Bakugo. 

Great.

You gave him a middle finger and was about to talk back when Shoto pulled you away from the scene and lead you towards the second floor. 

"Where are we going?" you asked.

"Getting a room" he opened the door to his room and shoved you inside.

"Looks like I'm gonna have to give you what you want after all" he smiled at you and locked the door.

TV Life, 2/14/2025 Issue ft. Chinen Hidekazu & Miyazawa Yu (translations below)

GavvPare! Vol.11 (Chinen Hidekazu)

-Episode 19 was the most difficult broadcast so far…-

Shouma, who's been fighting together with Hanto up until now, has gained a new ally named Lakia. For Shouma, Lakia's also a Granute, so he's a reassuring presence, as they're able to understand each others problems and struggles that only Granute's can relate to. Since meeting him, I feel that the loneliness he feels within his heart when fighting together with Hanto is slowly easing. Lakia is played by Kohei-san, who's my tokusatsu senior, and I'm learning alot from him on a technical level every day. During times when I express my ideas of "doing things this way," he'll immediately responded with, "Alright then, I'll do it that way." I've been saved countless times by his willingness to adapt, and I feel that he's really reassuring to perform with. It's kinda similar to the relationship we have within our roles. The scene where Gavv and Vram confront each other in episode 19, which I worked on together with Kohei-kun and Vram's Eitoku-san, was honestly the most difficult one out of all 20 episodes that have currently aired. I Personally thought the scene in episode 14 where he fights Siita and Jiip was one of the most intense scenes, but this time, it was even harder than that. I also had to consult with Director Sugihara and come up with my own movements for the action scene after his transformation is cancelled, so it was both mentally and physically challenging. Still, because I was able to overcome this challenge, it gave me confidence, and I feel that I've taken another step towards growing.

At the end of episode 20, Hanto finds out that Shouma is a Granute. Furthermore, Lakia, who he believes is an enemy, was also there, making the situation even worse…Shouma is filled with regret and remorse for not telling Hanto, but how will he act from episode 21 onwards to make Hanto understand? At the same time, a mysterious assassin will also make his appearance, and the intense developments will continue. Please look forward to it!

Q: What do you want to accomplish this year?

A: I'd like to visit the Izumo Grand Shrine in Shimane. I went to the Samukawa Shrine in Kanagawa before I was selected for Gavv, and I think that I passed the audition because of the blessings I received there. That was the beginning of my interest in shrines, and now I'm most drawn to the Izumo Grand Shrine.

Off Shot: How they looked while taking a break from filming. Out of nowhere, the "pretending to be asleep championship" began. The competition was to see "who can sleep more realistically." It was a battle that seemed to be evenly matched. If you look closely though, you can see that competitor Chinen's right hand is clearly extended. A fatal mistake! In contrast, competitor Kohei mockingly leaned on his opponent's shoulder, and even showed his beautiful sleeping face to the camera!! As you'd expect, it's a "shining" combination! Shoji-kun's side won this match! Let's get revenge next time…!! _

BakuDAYS Vol.23 (Miyazawa Yu)

-I've learned that love for the production is important-

Everyone, did you watch episode 45 the other day? The scene where Sakito and Byundi dive into the crowd who were criticizing the Boonboomgers while Taiya and the others were worn out personally warmed my heart…! Even when I was actually acting out my part, the extras, along with the atmosphere on set, was really great. I was very impressed by the wonderful scene that we all created together.

Not long before that, Ishiro's betrayal in episode 43 was revealed. Along with the fact that he was acting alone more often, I had some questions regarding Ishiro's actions, but personally, I interpreted it with, "Maybe he's secretly investigating something for the Boonboomgers?" So, when I read the script, I was shocked. I think I was able to incorporate my genuine reaction into my performance.

Until I had firmly established his character, Sakito was a very difficult role for me to play. He's not simply a cheerful character, and he doesn't have a dark side either. It was a great learning experience for me being able to create his character together with the Director, all while discussing how to express a balance between his positive and negative parts. Boonboomger is a production that each and every one of the staff and cast members approached with love and passion, and I think that's why so many people love it. This year once again made me realize how important it is to have a deep love for the production and its characters when creating a show!

There are only two episodes left in the series. Before reading the script for episode 46, I too thought, "Is this really the end?," but from here on, the story will continue to unfold in an intense way that'll make it so you won't take your eyes off of it for even a second. Please enjoy it until the very end!

Q: The most "cranked up" thing that's happened to you recently?

A: During the New Year holiday, I returned home for the first time in a long time. I had previously received the news about them, but it was the first time I met my hometown friend's child, and they were so cute and cranked up! I was happy to see my family and friends who've been so supportive of me over the past year.

BakuageSHOT: Boonboomger is finally coming to an end. I'm going to miss it, but I'll run towards the final episode while feeling cranked up!! This is one photo of us warming up between scenes at the warehouse! How will things turn out in the end?! Everyone, please look forward to it!

authors note: Hi!! i’m not sure how long this has been in my drafts…. but definitely for a long time. i’ll be posting some more stuff from my drafts this week to make up for the fact i’m currently super unmotivated!!

it was nights like these that you knew he had difficulty with sleep.

the soft, considerate patter of socked feet against the tatami floor, aimlessly wandering through the butterfly estate. usually, you’d be a rather deep sleeper, but you know that the days prior events were to no doubt owe tanjiro a sleepless night. so, you kept awake, listening for those soft padded footsteps.

you slipped out of bed, quietly and carefully opening and closing the shoji of your room, delicately delivering yourself to the kitchen. you didn’t know where the burgundy haired boys current location inside the estate was, but it was only a matter of time before he showed up.

and, like a moth to a flame, he turned the corner as you were poring the tea. His expression held one of surprise, clearly not expecting to see you awake at this hour. You sent him a kind, tired smile, placing down the tea pot and offering him a freshly filled cup.

with shaky hands he took it, though his face held confusion. “can’t sleep?” you asked softly, holding your cup with both hands as you await his answer.

He nods, and if the eye bags were anything to go by you knew he needed this tea remedy immediately.

“yes,” he replied bashfully, smiling at you. you ignored the lunge in your chest. “you?”

“I suppose you could say that.” you retort, a closed eyed smile left your expression before you could stop it. you couldn’t tell him you were up and waiting for him, could you?

You fixed your posture, taking steps forward and passing the sleepless boy, motioning for him to follow you. He did so, sloppy almost spilling his cup as he trailed after you.

The two of you walked outside, following along the engawa until you had a proper view of the full moon. You sat along the engawa’s edge, patting the empty space beside you. tanjiro sat down beside you. he was close.

You both allowed your legs dangle over the edge, the two of you sipping your own tea in the soft noise of cicada and cricket songs.

you failed to notice the lingering gaze of the kamado boy in your peripheral vision, too pre occupied with your own thoughts of him. Tanjiro was awestruck, to be frank. the way that the moonlight encased your face was nothing less of ethereal, the most beautiful thing he’d ever had the pleasure of seeing.

in honesty, the young boy was ready for sleep. his body ached and his time was well spent during the day, but it wasn’t the nightmares of prior demons that clouded his mind. it wasn’t the dread that ate at him at night, or the fear that itched his bones while he lay down. it was you. his mind was completely, and utterly flooded with thoughts of you. and, he wasn’t sure how to cope.

His racing mind could barley keep up with his heart, rocking his body back and fourth like a shishi-odoshi under heavy water. he couldn’t think. he couldn’t breathe. it was suffocating.

but, now, as he sat beside you under the moonlight, his suffering was all worth it. you were really something, weren’t you?

Tanjiro knew you had no trouble sleeping at night, he’d asked you before how you slept. He knows you get up to make him tea. he knows you care for him. so why does it bother him when you refer to him as kamado-kun? why does it ache him when you introduce him as your friend, why does it burn when you say goodbye or good night?

Now, he was unknowingly, fully staring at you. you felt the intense pressure of his eyes on you, and with a soft expression you turned to face him, though worry was no doubt littered in your irises.

“kamado-kun?” like a deer shoved out of bright light, he snapped back to reality. your eyes traced his face, brows furrowed in concern as you watched him. your gaze made him feel warm.

“a-ah, i’m sorry, y/n-san,” he blurted out, scratching the back of his neck, his eyes bashfully trailing back up to the full moon. you smile, although he couldn’t see.

silence followed after his words, and it was different. something unfamiliar traced the air, something awfully familiar. tanjiro’s heart beat soundly in his chest, and his eyes fluttered shut. from exhaustion or realization he couldn’t tell, but he knew he enjoyed it.

“The moon is beautiful tonight, isn’t it?”

tanjiro’s throat swelled at your words.

He jolted, shooting his eyes open— quickly fixating on your face, only to find your eyes searching his. Tanjiro had heard that phrase before, from reading a few books and even takes of stories, but he didn’t think much of it.

a declaration of love. could it be?

he couldn’t find his voice, helplessly trying to find a response with the lack of his vocal cords in the time he needed them most.

he stared into your eyes like a helpless boy, and you couldn’t help the peachy blush dusting your cheeks.

“yes, it is.” he finally choked out a reply, though his voice came out hoarse and dry, you held your smile.

“the moon is beautiful tonight, isn’t it, tanjiro-kun?” you repeated, this time barley above a whisper. Tanjiro hadn’t realized how close you’d gotten until you were only inches away, but respectful enough to notice.

his mouth was closing and opening over and over again, not being able to find the right thing to say.

“yes.” he whispered, staring helplessly at you. his eyes dipped to your lips, soft and plush as they held a smile.

“tanjiro-kun?” you called in question, soft and quiet as the moonlight lit your face. an angel.

“y… yes?” he didn’t know what else to say— he couldn’t say anything else. he didn’t know how.

“can i kiss you?” your question held a tone he hadn’t heard before. soft and delicate, but laced with something that was different. something he wanted.

he nodded, just barley, cheeks warming as your smile didn’t falter, but grew. and slowly— so slowly— you lent forward.

it was so slow, patronizingly slow. the time it took for you to carefully and delicately place your lips on hush— but when they finally met, it was euphoric.

your lips were so soft, so warm, tanjiro felt like he was melting under the warmth of the sun, even as the moon shone high in the sky. He kissed you back, unsure and shy, be he did the best that he could.

it only lasted a few seconds, but it was like a dream. and the blush on both your cheeks were hidden by the darkness of the moon, and just your facial features were illuminated by the light it generously radiated.

when the soft embrace ended, you felt like the breath you took after reached every corner of your lungs, scratching your fibers in extent to freedom. You could breathe, and you heard tanjiro breathing, too.

slowly, you slid your hand against thengawa and embraced your hand with his, intertwining your fingers. he squeezed your hand, reassuring and shy. You looked at his eyes, and although you couldn’t see much, you knew he was thinking deeply.

but, you didn’t think any words needed to be said. the kiss you shared said more than a thousand words.

and when you both looked back to the moon, hand in hand, you began to think maybe it wouldn’t hurt to say them aloud, too— but, it seems he beat you to it.

“I love you.”

Do you think every illustration in the Fusuma/Shoji doors decorated in the Ooku means anything to a scene? I saw in the Fire Rat trailer when the woman meeting is held the door was a tiger, it sort of gets me on a "cat-fight" between them. And will the final boss of the trilogy be a snake? Since the first ever teaser for the movie had snakes on them

(trying so hard not to mention when Asa said what kept her emotions on ground was Kame the scene had her place beside the WHOLE panel illustration of the Fox Wedding door and the fact that a foxes wedding is associated with sunshowers)

By all means keep posting about Asakame, I love it!

Given that it's Mononoke, the Symbolism and Metaphor show, I do think every piece of door and wall art has meaning. You can also see that there are tamari balls bouncing around on the wall of Mugitani's room (a tamari ball being the object she threw into the well).

I'm not sure what the meaning of the tiger would be. It looks like it's trying to get in, so maybe it symbolizes the rage of the mononoke trying to break through?

That's a good thought about the snakes... There is a snake youkai called Uwabami that's known for its gluttonous nature. It also once called down a huge rain and flood on a guy who ticked it off, so there are possible connections with the Kun Trigram (connected with the stomach) and with the Karakasa. Another is Yamata no Orochi. I remember someone suggested when we first saw the art that it was reminiscent of the Yamato no Orochi legend.

Snakes are also symbols of life, death, and rebirth, and in Buddhism they're symbols of the poison of hatred or anger. In the first "Bakeneko" arc, there are snakes on the walls behind Lord Sakai and his son, along with a red thread, which is a symbol of fate.

I think part of the Nue looks like a snake as well? It's quite possible that the final mononoke could have a snake form.

The fox wedding thing... Yeah, they may well have been going straight for the lesbians thing there. 😛

A couple other things I noticed about the walls in Karakasa:

The three "eyes" of the mononoke sometimes appear on the images. For example, they're in the eyes of the flamingos on the wall when Awashima cuts Kame's hair. It's notable, I think, that when those "eyes" appear on images and objects, they tend to stay put for a while, whereas when they appear in human eyes, they vanish quickly.

Also, the art is sometimes animated. When Kame is talking about wanting to become a concubine while Mugitani is giving them "the tour," the puppies playing on the wall are blinking.

In these shots where the wall art appears to be alive, I think it's connected to the idea of life existing in objects, like the objects the women threw into the well, which carried parts of themselves.

And of course there are flowers everywhere, with the idea of the women themselves as "flowers" being a big theme in the movie.

Kusu also has a mischievous little kitty and a demon behind him here, so make of that what you will. 😛

That same wall also has a kappa on it right above the cat. The kappa is an aquatic ayakashi, so that's a probable connection to Karakasa's rain/water theme. According to yokai.com, they're also "a kind of water god" in Shinto.

I'm sure there's a ton more that others who have seen the movie more times than I have, who are more observant than I am, and/or who are better versed in Japanese culture than I am have picked up on. But yeah, all that wall art is important for sure. I'd say all the wall art in the series is important as well, but that's a whole other post.

I just watched MHA S7 Ep1 and can't stop thinking about the opening and ending songs. I mean the whole episode was awesome and Shiggy's fight with Star and Stripe was fucking cool, but the visuals in the opening and the ending songs though...

The students are ready to help Deku and take down the villains...

Monoma and Shinso are gonna play a very important role in this final war arc and we all know it...

Overall, I really liked this episode, and I'm still waiting for the moment when the Todoroki family stuff is gonna get animated like the Shoto vs. Touya fight, and the whole family confronting Touya...

[Reader] had always loved animals. Despite her lively nature, all the fluffy little balls were drawn to her. It was no different on that fateful rainy day when she was returning from visiting her parents to the Yūei dorm.

May came and Japan was making itself known with the beginning of the rainy season. Musutafu had been suffering from it for a week. The girl had forgotten her umbrella and was certain that her mother would not let her live if she called in the evening. Her sweatshirt had barely dried on the bus before it returned to its previous state as soon as she got off. The humid air made her clothes stick to her body. So she set off quickly, hoping that she would make it back before the sky began to drizzle again. Nothing could be further from the truth. She was forced to wait out the torrents of rain under a tree. So she pulled her hood tighter over her head and impatiently began to kick the gravel with her shoes. Surprisingly, one of the pebbles made a strange squeak. [Reader], certain that she had misheard something, resumed her work. This time the missile had clearly hit something. She looked around carefully and found a cardboard box in the wet undergrowth nearby and a rabbit inside it.

It twitched its nose a few times at the new arrival, then curled up into a ball, clearly frozen and covered itself with long ears. It had lovely [colour] fur but it wasn't covered in mud. She guessed someone must have left it there recently.

The girl looked around for anything that could help find the owner. Then she noticed a wet, sad note that said: "Leaving it in good hands."

There was no doubt about it — bunny was abandoned. She felt sorry.

It had stopped raining. The last rays of the afternoon sun could be seen from behind the clouds.

— Come on, little one — she lifted the animal out of the now-soaked cardboard box and wrapped it in her sweatshirt.

She could feel every gear in her mind working at full speed. Her parents were going to give their overgrown kittens to friends in a week. That meant an animal vacancy she could squeeze bunny into. If only dad hadn't been so angry about her recent exam results...

She knew it would be easier to catch her mother by the sweet eyes of the little furball but without the consent of the other parent she had no chance.

She had a test in [Subject] the day after tomorrow. Her lessons were going well and she was hoping for high scores. She knew that if she managed to get a good score, she could count on keeping her rabbit at home.

This meant she had to keep the animal until then.

She was left with one option: She had to smuggle little one into the dorm.

With that thought in mind and the rabbit under her arm, she headed towards Yūei.

— Shoji-kun, you have to help me!

[Reader] ran into the boy's room, out of breath.

— First of all, you should have knocked. Second, what kind of trouble did you get into this time? — The boy glanced at me suspiciously.

—Why are you emphasizing this time? I don't ask you for help... that often — she added.

It was true that not too long ago they had been studying for exams together, practicing fighting and leaving frogs in Bakugō's room and then she had forced him to do a few more favours but she had figured that if he didn't protest, then he clearly didn't mind being used like that.

— Aizawa-sensei is doing a search of the dorm. It just so happens that your room has already been searched but mine hasn't. I have a rather active rabbit in mine and it would be best if it stayed unnoticed...

— I won't ask where you got it but I take it you want me to keep it with me until the end of inspection? — He gave her a tired look.

— It would be wonderful if you could help me transport it here. — She folded her hands pleadingly.

Mezō sometimes wondered if [Reader] didn't realize he liked her and that was why she took advantage of him at almost every opportunity. There was another theory, one of those he had at night before going to sleep, in which he assumed that she simply wanted to be close to him and was infatuated with him but couldn't show it. But he knew her to be quite direct in everything she did, so he had to remind himself of that sadly every now and then.

— In that case, let's hurry up.

The boy started down the hallway only to be pulled back almost immediately by the girl. She had a lot of strength.

— Wait until he enters the next room because he'll see us and it'll be suspicious.

And so they did.

There was one problem, though. When they entered, [Rabbit's name] refused to let anyone catch him. The furry creature, irritated by the new arrival, scratched them both, knocking over the lowest items in the process. At the last moment, Shōji saved a tall lamp on one leg from breaking.

[Reader] was really starting to worry as she watched the mess grow bigger by the second.

Luckily the boy managed to tame the rabbit, though even with duplicate hands it was difficult to carry out the small problem.

The girl quickly threw all the items into a large box, just to make the battlefield look relatively tidy.

— Let's both go, or he'll start going crazy again. Then I'll come back here.

She peeked out from behind the door.

— Clean.

They weren't even halfway down the corridor when they heard voices:

— You should clean more often.

— I know, I know — Mina assured.

Action had to be taken. Otherwise, Aizawa could see the rabbit at any moment.

[Reader] did the first thing that came to her mind — she covered the pet by kissing Mezō.

She had to admit that she liked him and she could see that he liked her back. It was hard not to figure him out. But she hadn't wanted to make the first move yet. She had decided that he would be worth it if he dared to. But now she had betrayed her ideals in the name of a need.

The boy was glad his face was covered. If it weren't for that, he would definitely blush now, feeling all these emotions at once. The kiss was unexpected but he welcomed it with pleasure. After all, how could he not be happy when it was his dream girl kissing him?

In the background, they could hear Mina's squeal, already done with her inspection. Her feet carried her to the girls' rooms. She probably wanted to tell everyone the news.

[Reader] slowly moved away from the boy. She saw that the homeroom teacher had entered her room. She gently pushed Shōji towards the corridor.

The strangest of all was Aizawa, who after a brief inspection left without a word and headed to the next student. The girl didn't suspect that it would be so easy to trick him but she clearly had some advantage.

She immediately headed back to her friend's room, hoping to get there before her classmates caught up with her. She wasn't sure what she would say to them in a situation like this.

— We did it! — She entered the room unceremoniously, startling the fluffy ball. — But we have to explain the diversion in the corridor — she added more quietly.

Mezō took a deep breath.

— I really wish it could be more than that. You're a wonderful girl and I hope you'll go out on a date with me. — He looked at her with hope in his eyes.

They weren't fancy words but [Reader] appreciated them. He finally managed to work up the courage.

— I didn't do it just because of the rabbit. — She smiled. — I'd love to go out with you.

[Rabbit's name] walked over to her feet, clearly bored with no one chasing him, so she gently lifted it off the ground.

—I’ll text you details tommorow — She kissed him on the cheek.

The teacher of the 1A was sitting in the teachers' room drinking coffee when one of the colleagues sneezed next to him.

— I think I'll go for desensitization. What I wouldn't give to get rid of this...— she muttered. — Damn allergy.

— Fur? — He smiled.

— Yes. How do you know, Aizawa-san? — She glanced suspiciously, pulling out some tissues.

— I had to deal with a rabbit today...

I saw JPN fandom commenting that Shoto uses the outdated and somewhat girly term (ズッ友) zuttomo - loosely translated as eternal friends/ bffs. Kirishima may be being flustered as a reference to the SF where Shoto told him that he's not here to make friends.

Day 6:

Shoto's third soba-slurping is in Okinawa (with Endeavor and Kirishima)

(Okinawa soba is more like ramen than real soba and the noodles are wheat instead of buckwheat.)

I really enjoyed the scenes they chose for Shouto. Endeavor trying to join the field trip was funny. Shouto just eating soba all over Japan is definitely something I can see happen. And it is nice to see how he's friends with everyone and the whole class kind of adores his airheaded comments, misuse of slang and just blunt cuteness.

10/10 for the promo team.

When Shoji entered the big hall at the school as usual, he looked at the duo in surprise when he heard Fujin and Rajin's shouts. His surprise increased when he saw the Ebara students kneeling on the ground.

"Hey! What's happening ?"

He was used to this view because they dealt with a different trouble every day. But he still had no idea what was happening now.

Fujin looked at his friend entering the door and told him to come over. When the young boy walked in front of the students and saw that they had been beaten, he frowned.

"Who the hell did this?"

When they remained silent, Raijin spoke in a mocking tone.

“Be prepared for what you will hear, Same. Because these fools say that a young high school girl beat them.”

When Shoji looked at the boys on the ground in surprise, he saw that they all bowed their heads in shame. Although it surprised him that a single girl beat up several people, anything could happen in this city.

“Tell me exactly where she is.”

“Oi Same! You don't believe that nonsense, do you?

Shoji smiled when Fujin rolled his eyes and spoke.

“I don't think they are lying. But I still wonder what's going on.I will go and check.”

Even though the other two said he didn't need to go for this bullshit, Shoji decided to look for something exciting rather than watch them scold the boys. Maybe he could encounter something he never expected...

When he arrived at the location the boys said, Shoji found himself in front of a girls' high school. Although he still found it strange that a really high school girl was beating up his friends, he started to look around.

It wasn't long after school ending time. After walking around the school for a while, he turned his gaze to see two people fighting.

A tall boy and… A tall boy and a young girl were arguing. More precisely, the male was shouting. When the boy tried to hit the young girl, Shoji was about to walk there, but he stopped in surprise when the young girl punched him. He couldn't see the girl's face clearly, her back was turned, but he was sure that she was the girl his friends were talking about.

This time the young girl shouted at the boy in front of her. Before the fight escalated, the young boy took his bag and ran away. Shoji was watching in surprise.

The young girl put her bag on her arm again and looked around. She frowned when she saw the black haired boy watching her. He looked quite familiar.

They both shouted at the same time, pointing at each other with their index fingers.

“Shoji!” “Y/n!”

Shoji looked at the girl coming towards him in surprise. He really didn't expect to see her after so many years.

“Shoji-kun! I had a hard time getting to recognize you. How much you have changed!”

The young boy shook his head silently. Was the person who beat his friends really his childhood crush?

“You're still pretty calm and cool, huh? The only thing that changes should be your appearance.By the way I liked your hair."

Shoji smiled shyly as Y/n smiled, pointing at the young boy's braided hair. Years had passed but she was still quite beautiful. He thought he had forgotten her, but why were his cheeks getting hot?

"Aren't you going to say something?"

When the young girl asked in surprise, Shoji shook his head.

“I wasn't expecting to see you, y/n-chan. You were definitely not the person I particularly expected to see here."

“Huh? What does this mean?”

Shoji scratched the back of his neck with his hand and thought about how he should explain it. When he saw the young girl looking at him with frowned eyebrows, he realized that he owed her an explanation.

He told her that a few students got beaten up today and they said that the one who beat them was a girl from here. He said he didn't believe it, but wasn't surprised after what he had just seen.

Y/n smiled and nodded.

“Did those bastards tell you why I beat them?”

“So it was really you?” The young boy frowned.

Y/n smiled and nodded. She put her hands in her jacket pockets and shrugged.

“Next time I see them harassing the girls at my school, you can be sure that I will bring your school down on you.”

Even though the young girl said it with a smile, Shoji could feel that scary atmosphere. To find out in more detail how the incident actually happened, he asked again and listened to the young girl. He had agreed with her, they deserved the beating they received. But he still couldn't hide his surprise that the young girl was like him.

“So… you are from this high school, right?”

Y/n smiled and nodded.

“I'm not just a student of this place. I am also the leader of this school.”

Shoji's eyes widened as y/n grinned.

“And I knew that when they left, they would bring the leader of the Ebara here.”

The winter was a chilling season, she expected it, she knew it and yet nothing could have ever prepared Juliet for how cold the weather would have become after the winter solstice.

In an attempt to warm herself up Juliet rubbed her hands together, tightening her haori around her shoulder, even though nothing could shield her from the frizzy wind grazing her face and messing up her hair, with a heavy sigh she forced herself to walk until she reached a secluded place on the the patio, too lost in thoughts until a voice pulled her out of her reveries.

“Good morning Julie.”

“Ahh.” 

Unable to hide her surprise she jumped on the spot before turning to look at the guest, even though his smooth voice gave his identity away before his looks could.

“I beg your pardon if I scared you.” 

Rebel raven locks scattered by the wind framing a pair of tourmaline eyes much alike her own caught her attention as she tilted her head to a side feigning composure.

“Oh no please don’t worry Kicho.”

“Kennyo didn’t tell you I was coming ?”

“He didn’t tell me, no.”

“I see …” 

The light of anger masked as dissatisfaction didn’t fly unnoticed to her trained eyes warming her heart at his over protectiveness.

“When did you arrive ?”

“Not too long ago, I was wondering where you were when a disciple told me they saw you around the main hall.”

“Oh yes this must have been Ping, he is such a gossiper.”

Juliet shook her head amused at the disciple's antics, all the while she did her best to keep her haori closed as much as she could even though the frizzy wind threatened to make it slip through her fingers.

“You must be freezing in this weather, it’s better if we go somewhere warmer.”

“I agree, lean on me and I will lead you the way.”

As promised she guided him through the halls before sliding a shoji door that opened without issue, a smirk danced on Juiet’s lips at the astounded gaze in Kicho’ eyes as he took in the sight of her place.

The room was fully decorated with finest pieces of art, brocades of various shades of green adorned the tapestry, a pair of soft armchairs were placed around a low table decorated with a golden filigree, a bookcase whose books shone under the light of the chandelier made with heavy crystals pendant swayed quietly in the breeze alike the suncatcher placed next to the entrance, all the while the warm light of the candles reflected on the painted surface of the japanese lanterns standing at each corner of the room all the while next to a window opening on the garden stood a sofa in front of an high table where it was placed a tea set of fine china betraying its westerneer origins from the bold colors of the scenery painted on the candid ceramic.

“Please take a seat”

“Thank you for having me.”

With an elegance she rarely saw in a man he sat on the sofa looking straight at her as she took place in front of him, all the while she did her best to ignore his gaze seeing his tourmaline eyes watching closely her every movement as she brewed the tea.

“Juliet, tell me the truth.”

She tilted her head to a side, confusion flickered in her gaze as she looked at him, reading something merciless in his usually listless tourmaline eyes.

“Was he neglecting you again?”

“What ?”

“Kennyo is still a workaholic ?” 

All the while Kicho talked his handgun slipped from his kimono shining in the dim light of the lantern as he carefully polished the barrel with his cape, a promise and a threat she couldn’t help but feel flattered to see, proof of how much he cared for her in his own peculiar way.

“Oh no, not at all” 

Though flattered she fretted over to add, desiring to quiet his anger and reassure him Kennyo was indeed paying her more than enough attention, as the soreness of her muscle gently reminded her of.

“I am glad to hear that.”

Swiftly he placed the gun back in his pouch all the while wrapping his long fingers around the cup of tea admiring the western style of its embroidery before slowly sipping from it, though the quietness of that moment was interrupted as the door rattled open, placing her teacup on the saucer she ran to throw her arms around the sudden guest.

“Kennyo, welcome back.”

“I didn’t expect you there, the children already returned home ?”

“Yes you see I thought it was going to snow and so I dismissed them early …” 

She looked anxiously up at him, torturing with her fingers the hem of his shawl.

“You did a good job.” 

His words were enough to placate her doubts along the gentle kiss he placed on her forehead making a smile so bright to outshone the sun appear on her rosy lips.

“Please join us. I will pour you a cup of tea. You must be freezing in this weather.”

“Not much, I am used to colder ones.”

“Oh please don’t play though.”

“I am not.”

Only the smack of Juliet's lips on his cheek was enough to cut off Kennyo’s words, making a light blush crept up on his cheek, confusion took over his grey eyes as he met a pair of tourmaline ones gazing at him from above the steaming tea cup.

“I didn’t expect you there.”

“I figured as much, haven’t you received my letter ?”

“Not yet, the correspondence must have been on hold since the snow started.”

“I see … you have nothing to worry about anyway I came to bring you something I thought could have been useful.”

Juliet tilted her head to a side looking at Kennyo, whose eyes mirrored her confusion, at the lack of understanding Kicho sighed heavily, placing a packet on the table  a golden ribbon stood out on the plain paper catching her gaze.

“Open it … or don’t either way it’s yours now do with it as you see fit.”

Chartreuse's eyes sparkling with excitement she took it into her own hands, gently offering it to Kennyo only to smile when he held it for her so she could tug at the ribbon.

“What is this ?”

Kennyo took off a piece of forest green fabric, holding it into his own hands staring at it from each angle all the while Juliet twirled another emerald one around her fingers.

“Europeans found this to be useful when they travel around. I suppose you may call it a cape.”

“A cape …”

“Yes I am sure you are familiar with it, it’s a sort of haori but is generally longer and wider, I made Mai sew it using velvet in this way it would be warmer.”

“I love it.”

Juliet clutched it to her chest before swiftly wrapping it around her shoulder, swirling around herself in the room feigning ignorance at the gaze of the two men, staring at her like she was the sun.

“I am happy to hear that I will extend the compliments to the seamstress.”

Once Kennyo had finished studying it, he finally tried to put it on something she didn't shy away to help him with, a bright smile curled on her lips as she caressed the fabric tracing with her fingers a pawn stamp above his chest.

“Look Kennyo, my golden embroidery matches yours.”

As ever when she smiled Kenny found himself  unable to be upset, particularly about Kicho's sudden arrival.

“It suits you well.”

“Ahhh thank you. I am so happy.”

The openness in which Juliet showed her feelings was something that never stopped surprising Kennyo, at first he thought that to be weird but in the long run he came to see that he always deep down found that part of her extremely endearing.

“We are very grateful for the gifts … may I ask what spired you to give them ?”

“Juliet mentioned how cold the weather was and I thought a fitting gift to give her something warmer than the haori she usually wore, since it would have made her happy if she had not been the only one to receive something, I made Mai sew one for you too.”

“Your thoughtfulness is much appreciated.”

“I am more than pleased that my gifts were of your liking. I would very much stay with you longer but I better go lest the roads to Sakai will become impracticable once more and I would hate to leave Mai alone for so long.”

“Thank you for visiting us Kicho and for the gifts. Please thank Mai in my stead for sewing them.”

“I will.”

Ever the gentleman Kicho greeted her smacking a kiss on each one of her cheeks, smoking as she did the same, only to reciprocate the small hug he pulled him in, reluctantly he broke away bowing to them both before leaving the room, still riding on her enthusiasm she twirled around the room with her cape around her shoulder bringing Kennyo in for an improvised dance, smiling at the sight of their matching green capes flowing around their frames as they waltzed around the room, happiness clear on his features as they settled back on the sofa, his huge frame engulfing her smaller one as he wrapped his arms around her, keeping her close as she blissfully nuzzled in his chest smiling as she looked up at him whose grey eyes crinkled with affection overflowing in his bright, tender smile.

GavvPare! Vol.10 (Shoji Kohei)

-I had to control my racing heart during the transformation scene…-

Playing the role of Kamen Rider Vram and Granute Lage 9 is me, Shoji Kohei! As the third Kamen Rider to appear, I hope to bring excitement to this production. Everyone, it's a pleasure to meet you!

After appearing in the 2020 Super Sentai production "Mashin Sentai Kiramager" four years ago, I get to transform for a second time. It wasn't just for this production, but I had some hopeful thoughts of "how nice it'd be if I could make a guest appearance in another tokusatsu production in some way someday," still, I would've never thought that I'd be appearing as a regular cast member, so I was both incredibly surprised and grateful. It's been quite some time since I've done a transformation scene, and while I had to act out my performance in a "flat" way, I myself was still extremely happy. I had to control my racing heart and keep my composure as I performed (laughs).

My first appearance was as "the man with the hat," and I think I was able to convey a sense of mystery through his outfit. Still, I didn't want to be too dependent on my appearance, so I thought about how I could add a hint of suspicion with something like a gesture or action. I had never played a role where I wore a hat before, but I realized that I could add variety to my performance by putting my hand on the hat's brim, or by using the brim to hide or reveal my eyes, so it became another learning experience for me. On the flip side, after transforming, Vram's visuals are more poppin than I would've imagined, with lots of pudding and caramel sauce dripping, which makes him look very adorable. While retaining his natural strength, Vram's fighting style and weapons are different from Gavv and Valen's, so I think you'll be able to feel his unique appeal through these aspects as well. Vram's role will be to speed up the story going forward. Please look forward to seeing how he'll interact with Shouma and Hanto, as well as Sachika and everyone else. If you look forward to it, I'll be happy and celebrate with three cheers!

Q: What do you want to accomplish this year?

A: I love movies, so I'd like to build my career as an actor by appearing in films outside of tokusatsu productions. And, I'm actually writing short stories. Recently, I've been brushing up on what I've written in the past as well as writing new pieces, and I hope to be able to release them as my own work at some point. Please call me "Shoji Sensei" from now on (laughs).

BakuDAYS Vol.22 (Saito Ryu)

-I gave a passionate and rugged performance typical of Jou-

A little boy named Itsuki-kun became Jou's apprentice in episode 40, where I feel that I was able to depict Jou's growth as he continued to take on a variety of challenges as a Boonboomger. Towards the end of the episode, Ishiro says, "He's lacking in coolness. Still, Jou's the most authentic hero among the Boonboomgers," so I was determined to play the role in a passionate and rugged way to match that line. Then, in episode 43, Ishiro's betrayal is revealed. Since Jou's a character who honestly expresses his inner feelings, I put alot of anger into my performance, wanting to speak for the viewers whose thoughts were probably, "No way, Ishiro is…?"

2024 was a year where I ran alongside Boonboomger itself. By taking my role seriously throughout the lengthy period of a year, I learned the basics of acting, and I feel that I have more ways of expressing myself. Boonboomger will continue into this year, so I'd like to make sure that everyone enjoys watching it until the final episode. Even after Boonboomger ends, I'd like to continue to challenge myself with various types of work so that people will think, "Ah, BoonBlack's on TV again!" And, just like how ToQ1gou and GokaiBlue appeared in Boonboomger, I hope that the Boonboomgers will appear in future productions. When that time comes, I want this to be a show that'll make people think, "Boonboomger was alot of fun!" and, "I guess I'll watch it since the Boonboomgers make an appearance." For that reason, I'll do my best to run towards the end at full speed! Along with the future that awaits them, I'd be happy if you'd watch the six Boonboomgers taking control of their wheels until the very end!

Q: What's something the "Police Officer" wants to patrol?

A: Attraction spots in Tokyo. When my hometown friends come to Tokyo to visit me, I really can't think of any places to take them (laughs). I'd like to patrol and search for niche and wonderful places that only someone who lives in Tokyo would know about!

BakuageSHOT: Episode 44 was the first episode Director Miyazaki directed, so everyone was more motivated than usual. Although it was a serious episode, filming it was alot of fun! There'll be more raging developments from here on out. Everyone, don't miss it!
