writers of any kind, i've always been curious about. what does it feel like to write a story without an happy ending? and why do you do it?

let me explain. when i write i get so attached to my stories and the characters i created that it would genuinely destroy me not to make them happy at the end, especially if it's something i've put a lot of time and effort into. but i'm also like this as a reader (no matter how good a story is, if i know it's not happy at the end i won't even start it) so maybe it might depend on that?

i imagine it's a bit like listening to sad music when you're sad, you get to just pour everything you're feeling into it. but what about fanfics with over 100k words or whole published books building the story just to have a sad ending? doesn't that hurt even more as a writer?

Lucas and Dillon are a completely original couple that are nostalgic for me of the good ships and healing of the ships where the writers dropped the ball so hard—

They're comfortable with each other like Gallavich in both of their miscommunication tension-filled and bickering periods.

They're actual correct portrayals of the struggling home life, repressed sexuality x out and proud light of your life that took form in one of the WORST gay Degrassi ships of all time.

They're pan x closeted gay with the most obvious crush like Evak

Ever since I started writing fan fiction with Sander and Robbe the main ship, I have always dreamed of writing one in which they are being married. I spent countless hours imagining this moment, their emotions, their looks, their thoughts, wishing to virtually accompany them to this imagined wedding.  SKAM Big Bang gave me the opportunity to finally be able to fulfill this wish. 

My worry was always that I would write something banal, that I would lack sufficient emotional exploration. Sander and Robbe are by far the ship I love most of all the SKAM remakes, and they deserve a fairytale wedding. I hope I succeeded in my goal. Only you can tell me with your comments.

Since this story is the continuation of a parallel, their witnesses are Isak and Even, who support and help them like two guardian angels. I must thank Viola_Player1 for her contribution in the Evak parts and avignonscat for being our precious beta.

I look forward to the next chapter, get your tissues ready. I cried so much in writing it and I hope to move you in the same way.

What’s your total AO3 word count? 

171,266... (I love how as soon as it isn't my own characters I can get a decent word count in 😅 oh well, my novel will be out there one day!)

What fandoms do you write for?

I'm known for Red, White and Royal Blue but I also write for Bridgerton, Heartstopper, Skam, Young Royals and as of the latest Ficlet Friday, Dead Boy Detectives!

Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

Yes! I try to reply to all of them eventually, especially when they're particularly long. I appreciate every comment & there's a real cosy vibe under some of my fics that feels like a virtual group hug.

Nope, not as far as I know...

Have you ever co-written a fic before?

I can say yes to this now! I co-wrote the next installment in my beloved Bigender Alex AU with @run-for-chamo-miles, it's called I could speak (or just let my body explain) & I'm so proud of us for it 🥰

What's your all-time favourite ship?

I hate this question, it is too hard so I'm just going to mention all my faves in no particular order: Evak (Skam), Chris/Jal (Skins), Firstprince (RWRB), Vilde & Magnus (Skam), Narlie (Heartstopper) and most recent addition Theo /Kit (The Pairing).

What are your writing strengths?

Dialogue & show not tell when it comes to emotions - I think? It's what I enjoy the most anyways.

What are your writing weaknesses?

Plot? I don't do a ton of longform stuff and you'll likely notice my longer fics are more a collection of scenes with a thread but not like a beginning, middle and end. It works in fanfic but the struggle is real in my original work.

First fandom you wrote for?

Riverdale, which I don't even watch anymore. 🤣
