Just something out of sleep deprivation. But it's worth it. I redrew Kaylen from the Corpse Puppet AU variation I drew a couple of years ago! I even drew a small comic of child Kaylen when Wally disappeared! It sucks, and idk why I thought the house would have a balcony, but here yall go!

Hmmm I’m not too sure really! I feel like all of them would be pretty great babysitters! Well except for Frank- ok Frank’s not too bad of a babysitter actually it’s just sometimes Daisy finds him boring lol

(Another Corpse puppet AU short story! Focussed on Eddie/Frank and my OC, before franks passing, enjoy!!❤️)

((Prequel to this story, 15 years before the main AU))

Eddie and Frank were curled up by the fireplace, it was a cold December evening, Christmas Eve to be specific. What a wonderful time indeed.

Frank’s head was rested on Eddie’s shoulder, A small sniffle escaping them. Eddie looked over to them and wrapped another fluffy blanket around their shoulders.

“Eddie, I’m fine, it’s just a cold..” Frank said softly, snuggling under the warm blanket as Eddie looked at them “I know, I'm just making sure you’re staying warm..” Eddie smiled, kissing their forehead lightly, both of them getting snug together.

They both had soft smiles on their faces, a kiss on the nose was replied with a kiss on the cheek, so on and so forth. They loved each other dearly. More dearly than anything else.

Gifts had been exchanged, presents opened, warm food had been eaten, now they sat together, all cozied up. They knew their one gift was going to be late, it was predicted to be early January for delivery. But they didn’t mind. Eddie grabbed his cup of cider and sipped on it, a warm smile forming on his face. “Nothing like good ol cider to warm to soul-” Eddie was cut off by the sound of a knock on the door.

They both looked at each other with confusion. “Are we expecting anyone?” Frank asked, Eddie shook his head. “No..I-I don’t think..so?” He murmured, kissing Frank on the forehead and getting up, he put his cider down and walked over to the door.

Opening the door, his eyes widened. “Special delivery for Mr. Dear and Mr. Frankly?” The stork said, holding a basket. Frank quickly got up off the couch and rushed over to the door. “ I thought they weren’t gonna be here till January!..” Eddie said, letting out a laugh of surprise as he very carefully took the basket.

“Seems like you got an early delivery!” The stork said, shivering from the cold. Pulling out a clipboard with papers for them to sign. Eddie was on the verge of tears as he looked at what was in the little basket.

Frank felt their hands shake as they signed their name. “Eddie..” they gently urged, he blinked and looked over. “O-oh! Right right…” he murmured and he took the quill and signed his name on the papers.

Soon the stork flew off, wishing them a merry Christmas and they closed the door behind them. They looked at each other and looked at what was in the comfy looking basket.

Wide-eyed baby looked up at them, Rosy Red hair that was dark, orange felt that was soft to the touch, a little yellow button nose in the middle, a pastel yellow blanket wrapped up around their little body. Big, soft eyes looked up at them.

“Oh..they’re perfect..” Eddie muttered, tears welling in his eyes, Frank let out a small cough before gently scooping them up. Eddie wrapped his arms around Frank and nuzzled into their shoulders. “Just like you..” he smiled, making Frank’s cheeks flush as they gently scoffed. “..you’re so sappy..” they mumbled, making their way back to the couch with Eddie. The little one in their arms. Now all three of them were curled up under the blankets.

Eddie played with Frank’s hair as the little one was curled up in their arms.

“..oh, our baby dear..” Eddie said so softly, brushing his finger against their cheek, making them coo. Eddie felt like his heart was going to burst. “Oh..ain’t they just..” Eddie trailed off, not being able to find his words.

“.. precious?” Frank finished his sentence, Eddie nodded his head as he put the signed papers down. “..our Sam Frankly-Dear..” Sam cooed at the name, they seemed to like it. All three of them stayed curled up on the couch that night, the room staying warm with the soft crackling of the fireplace.
