The boys had been on tour in the US for a couple months now, having played at festivals and all around the country. You both pushed his comments away, only worried about the other and hoping someday soon you can see each other. So when Wil told you that they had one more show and he’d be home, you were ecstatic! You’d be able to see him in less than 48 hours.

To say you were a tad nervous was an understatement. You hadn’t seen him properly in a while, haven’t felt his touch and the warmth of his body and it made you ache for it. You did know what you’d do once you saw him, but all you knew was you were excited to be in the same room as him again.

If I may, there is some stuff I want to point out and add on to this (https://www.tumblr.com/lovejoyupdate/771076119441047552/hi-im-the-kind-anon-as-i-got-called-in-the-last) What I point out, give my thoughts and opinion on is said with absolutely no malice, cruelty, or hate towards you or Wilbur but with wanting to possibly give another/different perspective, insight, or understanding of the situation because I do like Wilbur and his content and I support him and hope going to therapy helps him. (I’m Neutral)

Point 1. Shelby’s Cousin. As far as I was aware this cousin only appeared on an anonymous forum on Instagram, I didn't know they apparently have a Tiktok? If the Tiktok is a video with some sort of evidence they I’ll give you that but if there is actually a cousin, why couldn't they given their name or possibly some family photos with faces blurred to give themselves some backing then them and their story could at least have some credibility to it but if it's still just text with nothing attached then at best it is dubious and at worst it is just some person on the internet lying for attention. I recall, Shelby herself has said she doesn't have a cousin but it is possible she could be lying.

Point 2. Shelby has no bruises. I give you credit there, it is hard to hide bruises and I personally haven't seen or come across any pictures, videos, or evidence of Shelby having bruises on her and in some photos Wil doesn’t look the best. But to give her the benefit of the doubt, they could've been very small or have already faded when she was taking pictures. I don't doubt that Wilbur didn't bite her harder than what she was probably comfortable with and it is possible he did leave bruises, I doubt it was with any bad intent. He just has a biting habit.

Point 3. Has Shelby possibly lied in the past. As far as I'm aware there has been no proof or evidence that Shelby has made any online accusations towards any of her past boyfriends, it's all word of mouth. It's possible that her previous exes are or were bad boyfriends and that's why she broke up with them, but unless she made any online accusations claiming abuse like she did with Wilbur then technically she didn't lie when she said she hasn’t accused any of them. If there are any like, videos or comments then it could at least have some credibility (but IF it's true, and she did deleted any evidence then I understand why it would be hard to find) but if it's still just words with no proof attached then it is at best it is dubious evidence and at worst it is a lie to try and downplay or invalidate her. 

Point 4. Money to sue. Once again, I'll give you credit, it does seem a little weird that she has enough money to go to Canada to thrift shop for clothes and go to Disneyland, I remember her talking about suing a car company, I don't know if she actually did though. But aside from money issues, there could be other reasons why she hasn't pursued a lawyer, I don't know if she given herself others reason aside from money. 

Point 5. Contradicting herself. I don't know if she ever said ‘I didn't/don’t consent to being bitten’ I know she said she didn't consent to getting hurt via the biting, which to many people being bitten comes hand in hand with getting hurt, and add on the fact that everybody has a different level of pain tolerance. She said she didn't consent to getting hurt and many people read an implication of not consent to being bitten. Whether she was aware of her words and their possible implications I can't say but she did continue to consent to the act of being bitten despite the hurt that came along with it. She also said he stopped when prompted, even if his reaction was a little slow. 

Point 6. Laughing and touching her face. From what I remember the only time she laughed was when she was talking about the victims of SSS (those people which were bullied and harassed into suicide) which she said she was laughing at her situation and then, I think, wanted evidence of these suicides which, in my opinion, was not a good look for her. Plus as you've said ‘it isn't uncommon to laugh at your own trauma.’ As for her touching her face as a sign of lying, that falls more into some sort of pseudoscience. It’s like taking a lie detector test, which is not considered scientifically reliable enough to be used in court because they are not foolproof. Like do some people touch their face when lying, yeah, does that apply to every person, no. 

I'm NOT pointing these out to try and say Wil is some irredeemable monster, I'm saying that he's not some innocent angel who did no wrong. Wilbur himself has said that he was a bad boyfriend. I don't doubt that he exceeded her limits with biting and probably generally sucked, I don’t believe his biting was done out of maliciousness. I understand wanting some way to put the allegations to rest and want Wilbur’s possible problematic behavior to go away with whatever explanation, whether they are probable or not, to continue to love him and/or his music without any guilt. (Which, in my opinion, listen to what you want to listen to. Morally policing every ounce of art you consume will devoid your life of the pleasure of art. Bad people can make good art! Stop equating good with good and bad with bad! It's a dangerous mindset.) But Wilbur is a real person, not a character, he's a human who is just as problematic and complex as the rest of us, we’re all people after all. And I do believe him going to therapy is proof that he wants to be a good person, and is trying his best to be, even if he struggles with it a lot. Your own mental health can be a roadblock to bettering yourself, and it can cause you to become someone you don't want to be. I support him in trying.

Like you said, he said in his statement that he was a bad boyfriend, and the fact he's going to therapy proves hes trying to be better (Though we don't have proof that he is, I hope it actually is true and not something he's saying for the public eye.) For point 1: No they didn't give any photos, so yes they could just be lying, which is why i personally take it with a grain of salt

For point 2: You do have a point with the bruises could've been small or already faded. As for the habit, his mom even revealed he's had a biting habit since he was a child iirc
