"Could you blame me if I was?" His laughter comes easily, bubbling up and spilling from his lips in a sound that matches the carefree nature of his smile. "I'm putting myself out here even though you've given me every reason not to," Will says, shaking his head at her teasing. "I actually have grown sort of fond of my Earthly possessions. I'd rather keep them, if that's an option." Their voices are light, teasing as arrangements are made, but the first sliver that is revealed about her personal life has him pausing again.

A boyfriend. That, alone, takes a moment to process, but then she describes the unusual nature of their arrangement and Will meets her with a frown. "Wow. That's... so this really is your date, hm? He just... sends you out to do his dirty work?" Given his father's connections in the city, Will has interacted with enough less than savory personalities, but he has never seen something like this before. This beautiful woman with a heart big enough that she couldn't carry out her plan deserves so much more, but that feels like too much to say considering that they are still practically strangers. "No, not scared off. I mean, it is weird, but... I'd still like to buy you dinner. Monday night is open for me." That is one perk of a weekday when he has to work the next morning. "You name the time and I'll meet you here."

"Well, dinner... are you blushing, Will?" her smile was back and it was the brightest one in the room. Everything about that should've screamed that it was wrong to her, she had a boyfriend, dinner or.. a date, wasn't something she should agree to, let alone feel so much excitement over. "You don't want your earthly possessions anyway, right?" she joked. "If anything I'd be doing you a favour." she joked again, the dimples at the edges of her smile showing more clearly now until she simply decided that.. he deserved the truth, after that. "It.. has to be dinner because, I have a boyfriend." she admitted, with her eyes looking down again, because whenever she raised he eyes she found that urge to smile returning, or even the urge to let heat flush her cheeks. "I know how that sounds, he actually knows about this he uh.. he wants me to do this. He doesn't work, he well.. he lost his job a long time ago and never got another one so I had to.." she swallowed and that smile, that was a fake one, that was one that pretended everything was okay. "He found a way for me to keep him happy, supported... does the robbing you of your earthly possessions thing make more sense now? I would still like to go for dinner with you if my weird situation isn't enough to have you run outta that door over there. I mean I hope not, I do like looking at your face."
