THAT WAS A REALLY GOOD SHOW it definitely isn't one to watch as quickly as some others imo because it was fun taking my time and picking through them and letting things sit with me. there were so many different tones and styles through the show and i can definitely now see how influential it was on so many different things. So when brainstorming names for my Rendoc fankid, Rhyme suggested naming them "tubey" because of the whole science tube/capsule thing and as silly as that name origin is I do think it sounds adorable "too-bee"

And then I just had a thought right now. What if her name is like Tubie or smthn (we'll workshop spelling later), but Ren starts callkng her "Toby" as a silly nickname just 'cus it sounds kinda similar, and then as she gets older and grows into being a butch lesbian / general adult who loves genderfuckery, she just start going by the name Toby because she likes it :)

Idk if that makes sense but I just think it would be sweet and adorable
