𝚂𝚑𝚎 𝙻𝚒𝚔𝚎𝚜 𝙰 𝙱𝚘𝚢.
(Older!Powder x fem!reader)
I'm sorry but I finished ep 1 of act 3 and had to write this to get my emotions out about ekko and powder being a thing in an alternative reality bcz just RAHHHFHSHEHSHHS my gay ass is crying (no offense to the timebomb shippers, you do you!! If you like this that's cool💪💪) ENGLISH ISN'T MY NATIVE LANGUAGE, IF I MADE SOME SPELLING MISTAKES I'M SORRY ALSO SPOILERS FOR ACT 3!!
Warnings: uhhh just angst, mostly angst, this is for my girlies who might be feeling the same
༺ღ༒ ༺ღ༒ ༺ღ༒ ༒ღ༻
You've always liked Powder, every since you were kids, and still when you are teenagers.
Their was always something about her. The way she made the most creative inventions, the way she always seemed to have some sort of spark in her eyes. Her laugh, her hair, her eyes, it's hard for you to explain the feelings you have towards her.
You knew the way Vi's death was heavy on her, you could see that with the days, and soon years that came after. You we're always trying to be there to support her, make her feel a little better. You gave her space when she needed it, and we're there for her when she needed you the most.
And then there was Ekko.
You never hated Ekko, you 𝙙𝙤𝙣'𝙩 hate Ekko. he was a good guy, you got along with him. He was around Powder nearly just as much as you we're, maybe even a little more. When you were around Powder, he wouldn't take long to show up as well. You didn't mind.
But you couldn't deny that you we're jealous of him, of Ekko. The way he charmed his way into Powder's heart over the years. With his sketches, ideas, personality, kindness and understanding. You wanted what him and Powder had as if what you already had wasn't enough for you. You could see the way she looked at him, how 𝙝𝙚 looked at her the same way.
You often wished it was you instead of him. You try to forget about your jealousy, push it asside. You try to push your jealousy and selfishness asside, keep everything natural between you three. But it got harder and harder the more time went on.
Ekko has been acting strange recently, or at least that's what Powder told you. How he 'seems not to remember anything' and how he says these things about how in a dream her and Vi we're completely different. You noticed yourself too, how he was more around then usual. You assumed it was because of his project or whatever.
Now you find yourself here, on the dance floor in the last drop. Inventions around you everywhere as music and colorful lights fill the bar. You look into the crowd, trying to spot Powder. It took you a whole 5 minutes to finally spot her, but to no suprise, Ekko was there. On the dance floor, with her. Dancing together to the beat of the music like it was just the two of them. You tried to move your eyes away from the sight, let them be happy and together. But the jealousy ate you from the inside out, this all just left a bitter taste on your tongue. It all got so overwhelming so quickly, so you decide to leave the place before you explode and do something stupid.
So you decide to go out to Powder's little Hideout for now and go back once you've cooled down. You look at the massive invention across the room, stunned as fuck how they made this. You don't want to pay too much attention to it though, so you continue walking through the massive space before sitting down in front of the small memorial that Powder made for Vi.
You lighten the place up before just.. Sitting there. You sigh, looking at the picture sat on the desk. Vi always knew you had a thing for Powder, she always encouraged you to tell her how you felt. Whenever the situation was on your mind, you'd go here. You'd talk, like she was still there. Because to you, she was. To everyone, she still was. Now wasn't any different, you talked about what has been going on recently. With Ekko, Powder, and everything else.
"I just.. Don't know what to do, I know I'm supposed to be happy for them.. Ekko is a great guy, a-and if they become a thing, I'll be fine with it but.. Theirs this voice in the back of my mind that just doesn't seem to go away.." You groan, your head in your hands as you thought for a moment.
You knew you couldn't hide your feelings forever. If Powder wasn't going to feel the same way towards you, you might as well tell her what you've been feeling all this time. Just for an answer, a yes or a no. Anything. If she didn't feel anything as well then at least she'd know.
"I'll tell her, tonight. Like you always wanted me to do.. I'll.. I'll get this over with, okay? For you."
You found yourself walking back towards the last drop, but then you see Powder, going in the direction of what you knew to be the place where Vi always took her to. So you decided to follow.
If only you weren't blind enough to see Ekko walking along with her.
You climbed up to the place, heart racing in your chest as you tried to think about the things you could say. Your mind was running a million miles and you tried desperately to calm your nerves.
You we're finally gonna do it, you we're gonna tell her how you feel.
But just as you nearly reach the top, you see her. And Ekko.
Their kissing.
In front of your eyes.
Your heart dropped, hope that you knew was useless in the end shattered as you saw the image.
Wrong fucking timing. You stood there, frozen in time before quickly getting out of there. Trying to hold back the tears that we're threatening to fall.
She likes Ekko. She only likes Ekko. It was never you. Not in childhood, not in teenage years.
She likes a boy. That boy.
Your not that boy, and for now, you had to live with that.
You we're never going to being the one kissing her. It was always going to be him in the end.

Full Throttle
Summary : Bucky thinks he hooked up with a really pretty mechanic.
Pairing : Bucky Barnes x motorcycle racer!reader (she/her)
Warnings/tags : cursing. Sex is implied. Bucky on a motorcycle. Purely self-indulgent fic.
Word count : 3.9k
Note : reader is a MotoGP rider! I’m still reeling from the championship battle last week that I just needed to write this. Also I apologise for everyone who wasn’t tagged in waste a moment! I lost half my notes and I’ve been trying to recover it. Hopefully it’ll be resolved by tomorrow. Enjoy!
Bucky Barnes wasn’t just drawn to motorcycles because they were fast or dangerous— at least not entirely.
He loved them because of the freedom they gave him, the sense of control when everything else in his life felt it had spiralled into oblivion. Riding demanded focus and precision—all the things he’d spent the last couple of years training.
When he was on his bike, the world faded away. There was only the hum of the engine, the wind in his hair, and the open road.
And sure, being on the road was fun, but sometimes, all he wanted was a challenge.
That’s when he found the dirt track in the edge of town— a place where he could train for missions that called for high-speed chases— a place he could lose himself for a while.
It was something fun to do once in a while, you know? Sam would call this a hobby.
The roar of engines and the earthy tang of kicked-up dirt felt like home. In a way, it was strangely meditative. It reminded him of what it felt like to be human— to push himself to the limit, to make mistakes and learn.
Every Tuesday, after training, he came to the track.
And every Tuesday, so did you.
The first time he saw you, Bucky had to do a double take. You were standing by your bike, helmet tucked under one arm, dirt streaked across your padded leather jacket.
Bucky was no stranger to beautiful people, but there was something about you that struck him differently— maybe it was the confidence in the way you carried yourself or the fire in your eyes when you looked his way. Either way, he was floored.
At first, he figured you were just another skilled rider trying to forget the world. That it was just a hobby, like it was to him. But as the weeks went on, you realised this was your life.
It must be.
The way you rode was… incredible. Every turn was sharp, calculated. Precise.
And despite your obvious talent, you never made a big deal about it. Just like you never made a big deal out of the fact that he was the fucking Winter Soldier.
Of course, you knew who he was—he’d caught the occasional glint of recognition in your eyes. But you never brought it up, never asked for autographs or photos. Instead, you treated him like just another guy at the track.
That didn’t mean you didn’t flirt, though.
Every now and then, you’d throw him a cheeky grin. You’d playfully tell him things like, “Nice lap, soldier,” and Bucky would just blush (which you found adorable, of course).
He would always try to laugh it off, but the truth was, your teasing left his heart racing faster than his bike ever could.
—
Bucky had been working up the nerve for weeks, and today, he thought he would finally bite the bullet.
Today he was going to ask you out.
You were wiping the sweat from your brow when he leaned casually against his bike, trying to look more confident than he felt.
“You’re always here on a Tuesday,” he said, before mentally groaning at himself
What the fuck was that? He thought. Is Always here on a Tuesday really the best flirty opening line he had? It was not even an open-ended question. It was just an observation. Nice one, Barnes.
But instead of brushing him off, you paused, setting your gloves down with an amused spark lighting up in your eyes. “Could say the same for you, Barnes.” You tilted your head and gave a casual shrug, acting as if having a stunning super soldier gawking over you wasn’t flattering. “You stalking me?”
The corner of his lips curved upward, the nervous tension melting away ever so slightly. “Maybe I just like the view.”
That earned him a smirk. You let your eyes descend over him—his dark hair falling in perfect disarray, his shirt clinging to his chest under his jacket. “Sure,” you teased.
He chuckled, scratching the back of his neck. “Maybe I’ve got a good reason to show up.”
“Oh?” you asked, stepping closer, tossing your helmet onto your bike seat with a little dramatic flair. “Don’t tell me the Winter Soldier needs more practice catching bad guys on a bike. Thought you had that down.”
“Yeah, well,” he drawled, letting his gaze linger on you. “Never hurts to train. Especially when there’s someone like you around to keep me humble.”
“Humble?” You quirked an eyebrow, folding your arms as you leaned a hip against the leather seat of the bike. “Looked pretty cocky last week, pulling that stunt to take down the bad guy.”
He blinked, genuinely surprised. “You saw that?”
It had been a theft— some guy thought he could steal experimental weapons from an old Stark warehouse and get away with it. Not his cleanest chase, but he did the job.
“Please, it was all over the news. Did you not see the four helicopters following the chase?” you said, a mischievous glint in your eye. “I gotta say, you’re not bad, Barnes.”
“Not bad?” he echoed, feigning offence.
You leaned in just a little, dropping your voice. “I’ve seen smoother turns. If you want pointers, I could teach you a thing or two.”
His lips parted, but no words came out for a moment as he processed how close you were. “You offering lessons now?”
You laughed before gesturing at his bike.
This was his dirt bike, a recreational bike— not the one he used for the chase last week. Still, it could use a bit of… fine tuning.
“Tell you what, soldier,” you said, “Fix that lag in your throttle response first. Then I’ll teach you a thing or two about taking corners.”
Bucky tilted his head, narrowing his eyes “There’s nothing wrong with my throttle response.”
“Oh, honey,” you purred, stepping just close enough for your shoulder to brush his. “I could hear it lagging from halfway across the track.”
He raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued.
“You saying I need a tune-up?”
“I’m saying,” you said, your voice like velvet, “that if you wanna keep up, you’re gonna need a better setup.”
He couldn’t help the grin tugging at his lips. He still didn’t have the guts to ask you out that day, but he walked away with hope, that maybe, this could grow into something more.
—
“So, you gonna tell me why you’ve been walking around with that goofy smile lately?” Sam asked, leaning back in his chair with a knowing look.
“What smile?” Bucky muttered, immediately defensive.
“The one you think nobody notices,” he shrugged. “Spill it, Buck. What’s her name?”
Bucky hesitated, running a hand through his hair. He hadn’t planned to tell anyone about his little crush. least of all Sam, but the look on his friend’s face said he wasn’t getting out of this conversation.
“Fine,” he said, exhaling. “There’s this girl.”
Sam grinned.
“She goes to the dirt track I go to every Tuesday,” Bucky said, staring at the bottle in his hands like it held the secret to not sounding like a lovesick idiot as he told him all about you.
—
From then on, Tuesdays became his favourite day of the week.
Bucky found himself counting down the hours until he could see you again, his mind replaying every smile, every laugh, every teasing touch.
You became bolder, not afraid of calling him handsome, of touching his arm even if it wasn’t necessary.
And damn it if didn’t make his heart race.
One evening, after a particularly thrilling session on the track, Bucky decided he’d had enough of dancing around what he wanted.
Leaning casually against his handlebars, he called out, “Race me.”
You looked up, one eyebrow raising in surprise. “What’s in it for me?” you asked, folding your arms and tilting your head in that way that always made his stomach flip.
“If you win,” he started, “you get bragging rights for a week.”
“A week, huh?” You repeated dramatically, “and if you win?”
Bucky’s lips curled into a slow grin, trying to appear confident even though his heart was pounding in his chest. “I get your number.”
Your giggle rang out, bright and sweet, and for a second, Bucky forgot how to breathe. “You got yourself a deal, soldier,” you said, shaking your head.
—
The two of you lined up at the start of the track, engines growling.
Bucky’s focus sharpened—he wasn’t just racing for pride; he was racing for the chance to finally take a step toward something he had wanted for months now.
When the signal came, you both shot off like bullets, dirt kicking up in clouds behind your tires. Bucky pushed his bike to the limit, leaning into every corner, his muscles strained with effort, grappling the dirt bike for control. But no matter how fast he went, he couldn’t shake the feeling that you were holding back.
You were supposed to be faster, more precise than this sloppy performance you were giving. He’d seen you before. What happened?
As you neared the final stretch, you slowed, just enough for him to surge ahead and cross the finish line first.
He skidded to a stop, panting and exhilarated, but the smug grin on your face told him everything he needed to know.
When you walked over later and handed him a scrap of paper with your number scrawled on it, you leaned in close enough for him to catch the faint scent of sweat and motor oil. “You won it fair and square,” you said.
Bucky narrowed his eyes, his lips twitching with a grin he couldn’t suppress. “You let me win.”
“How dare you accuse me of such a thing,” you feigned innocence, but couldn’t help the grin widening on your face.
He tucked the paper into his pocket, shaking his head.
As you put on your helmet back on, you casually remarked, “Throttle’s still lagging, by the way.”
“Yeah, yeah, I know.” Bucky groaned, pretending to be annoyed. Secretly, he was thrilled to keep the conversation going. “I think it’s the fuel filter, but I haven’t had time to swap it out.”
“I’ve got one at my place,” you told him, turning on your engine, “Why don’t you come by?”
His head snapped up, surprised at the offer. “Now?”
“Why not?”
—
When arrived at your place, he had braced himself for something simple—a cosy apartment, maybe a small cluttered corner dedicated to your bike tools.
What he hadn’t expected was this.
Standing in the doorway, he blinked at the modern yet homey design laid out before him. The floor-to-ceiling windows bathed the space in golden evening light, reflecting off polished floors and expensive-looking furniture. The view of the city stretched out like a postcard behind you as you stood, arms crossed, watching him with a hint of amusement.
“This… is your apartment?” he asked, taking a step inside. His greasy leather jacket suddenly felt so out of place. His gaze darted over to a marble countertop in the kitchen, a plush couch, and then the walls— lined with the kind of art he’s only seen in high society auctions.
You tilted your head, a teasing smile tugging at your lips. “Not what you expected, Barnes?”
He huffed a soft laugh. “Not really…”
“Ah,” you replied, moving toward a door off the main living area. “So just because I work with bikes, I can’t have nice things?”
“I didn’t say that,” he countered quickly, following you.
You threw a sly glance over your shoulder. “Didn’t have to.”
He tried to think of a witty response, but he was distracted by the thought of you—the way you moved, confident and unbothered, like you belonged in every room you entered.
You led him to a heavy door and pushed it open, revealing a contrast to the rest of the apartment— your workshop.
The workshop smelled like oil, grease, and faintly of rubber, the air swirling with the comforting scent of metal and machinery. The walls were lined with shelves holding neatly organised tools, spare parts, and bottles of lubricants. A stripped-down high-performance bike stood at the centre of the room, its engine exposed, wires and cables hanging loose.
Now this room, he thought, was undoubtedly you.
“This is more like it,” he murmured, his lips curving into a faint smile.
“See?” You smirked, moving to grab the replacement part he needed. “I’m not as fancy as you think.”
After pulling his bike through the back, he leaned against the wall, watching as you crouch next to his bike and get to work.
For a moment, he was quiet.
He watched in silence— the way your hands moved with precision, the way you were entirely in your element.
“So,” you began, glancing up at him. “What’s the Winter Soldier doing on a dirt track every Tuesday, anyway? Don’t you have, I don’t know, a world to save?”
He chuckled, folding his arms across his chest. “The world can wait.”
You laughed softly, returning your focus to the filter.
“I get it, kind of,” you replied, loosening a bolt. “Wanting to get away from everything.”
From then on, the conversation came effortlessly.
At first, he kept it light, sticking to anecdotes about the track or the occasional joke about his less-than-smooth bike handling in the beginning. But there was something about the way you listened—your easy, genuine curiosity—that made him feel safe, like he didn’t have to keep everything locked away anymore.
At one point, he couldn’t help but ask how someone who worked with bikes could afford a place like this. You only shrugged with a smile, giving the same answer you always did: “I got lucky.” He didn’t press, though he was curious—the ease in which you sidestepped the question intrigued him.
Before long, the conversation drifted again. He found himself sharing more than he ever thought he would. He told you about his missions, the chaos of his Winter Soldier days, the things he’d done and the memories he was still piecing together.
And you listened—not with pity, but with an understanding that felt rare, even among the people he called friends.
“You’re good at this,” he finally said.
“Bikes?”
“People,” he admitted, his eyes flicking to yours.
“Well, bikes are like people,” You tilted your head, studying him with a small, curious smile. “Both require care, attention, and understanding to perform at their best.”
When you finally finished, you stood, wiping your hands on a cloth. “All set,” you said, gesturing toward his bike.
“Thank you.” he said, though he made no move to leave. Instead, he lingered, his eyes on you as you leaned back against the counter.
“So,” you said, breaking the thick silence, your voice dipping into something almost playful. “You gonna stick around, or do you have somewhere to be?”
“Nowhere important,” he admitted quietly.
He took a step closer, then another.
The space separating you seemed to dissolve, his eyes locked on yours, pulling you in like gravity.
“Careful,” you murmured, teasing. “I might think you’re stalling just to spend more time with me.”
His lips curved into a faint, almost shy smile. “And if I am?”
The words hit you like a shot of adrenaline, your heart beating out of your chest. There was no humour in his tone, no hint of the usual back-and-forth banter that had defined so many of your conversations. Just desire staring back at you.
You swallowed hard, your voice barely audible. “I wouldn’t mind.”
He was close now, so close you could feel the heat rolling off him, his metal hand brushing against the counter as he leaned in.
“Tell me to stop,” he murmured, his voice rough, a low growl in his throat. He cupped your jawline, mustering all the courage she could possibly gather.
You didn’t.
Instead, your lips parted in anticipation as he leaned in. Unable to bear it any longer, you tilted your head up, meeting him halfway.
The first press of his lips against yours was gentle, and the second was anything but. The restraint shattered immediately, giving way to something feral. His hand slid to the back of your neck, fingers threading into your hair as he pulled you closer, his lips moving with a hunger that’s been brewing since he first saw you on the track.
Your hands found his chest, sliding up to his shoulders, your fingers gripping the fabric of his shirt. You tugged him closer, your chest pressing against his. He let out a low moan that sent a shiver down your spine.
When you finally broke apart for air, your foreheads rested together, your breaths mixing in the narrow space between you. His voice was husky, as if he was still recovering. “I should really take you out on a date first.”
You let out a shaky laugh, your hands still fisted in his shirt. “You can still do that.”
His lips brushed yours again. “Aren’t you trouble?”
“You love it,” you whispered, grinning wickedly as you pulled him back in.
The next kiss was hotter, hungrier— it consumed you both. His hands slid to your waist, gripping you firmly as he backed you out of the workshop and into the apartment.
Your movements were uncoordinated, messy, your lips never leaving his as you stumbled against walls, furniture, and whatever else got in the way.
By the time you reached the bedroom, nothing else mattered.
—
Bucky woke to the soft light peeking through your curtains.
The scent of coffee reached him first. When he stumbled out of your bedroom, he spotted you at the marble kitchen counter, leaning on your elbows with a steaming mug in hand. You were dressed in one of your oversized shirts— and looked far too innocent for all the filthy things you did to him last night.
“Mornin’ doll,” he greeted as he sat across from you.
“Morning,” you chuckled at his adorable tousled hair.
“So…” he started, his voice thick with sleep, “about that date…”
You smirked, setting your mug down and sauntered around the island kitchen. “Thought you’d never ask.”
“Sunday?” he offered, watching you with a lazy smile as you perched on the stool next to his.
You shook your head, “I work weekends.”
That caught him off guard, but he didn’t let it show. “Remind me what exactly it is you do?”
“Bikes,” you said simply, the corner of your mouth twitching like you were holding back sensitive information.
He chuckled, assuming you were talking about your mechanic work. “Fair.”
You hummed, but the mischievous glint in your eyes didn’t escape him.
He tilted his head, curiosity tugging at the edge of his thoughts, but he decided not to push. You’d tell him when you wanted to. Instead, he flashed a small grin. “I’ll text you to arrange something, then.”
“You better,” you teased, leaning down to press a chaste kiss to his lips. “You won my number, Barnes. Don’t make me regret giving it to you.
The challenge in your tone made his smirk widen, his hand slipping around your waist to pull you closer. “Oh, I won’t.”
—
That Sunday, Bucky was slouched on Sam’s couch, one leg kicked over the side of the coffee table, a book resting on his chest. Sam, on the other hand, was waging war with the TV remote, flipping through channels at record speeds.
“Just pick something already,” Bucky grumbled without looking up.
Sam rolled his eyes, ignoring him.
“Oh, MotoGP’s on,” he said suddenly, tossing the remote aside.
Bucky didn’t even glance at the screen at first, the low growl of engines and the commentator’s frantic observation was little more than background noise. But something about the sheer speed on display tugged at his attention. He finally looked up— and when he did, he could not take his eyes off the screen.
The camera focused on a Ducati weaving through the pack with a relentlessness that looked… familiar. The rider’s movements were fluid, each turn carved with precision, every overtake risky but calculated.
“Holy shit,” Sam muttered, leaning forward. Sam wasn’t the biggest fan— but he did watch these races from time to time. It always intrigued him, the danger they willingly took to win a race. “Look at—did you see that overtake?”
Bucky didn’t respond, his eyes locked on the rider. There was something about them—the way they leaned into each corner, never hesitating, always pushing for the absolute edge of human limitation.
The commentator’s voice broke through his thoughts.
“And there it is! The factory Ducati taking the lead with that beautiful overtake from the inside line! Unbelievable control!”
The Ducati was now in front, pulling away from the others as the final lap approached.
Bucky watched, as they flew through a sweeping right turn, knees and shoulders skimming the asphalt like it was second nature.
As the Ducati roared down toward the finish line, the chequered flag waved.
First place.
The crowd erupted, but Bucky barely heard it. The rider slowed, their gloved fist pumping the air, before coming to a stop after the cooldown lap.
The other riders were congratulating them, patting their helmet with friendly taps.
Soon, the camera zoomed in, capturing the moment they pulled off their helmet.
And Bucky’s stomach dropped.
It was you.
No helmet, no visor—just you, smiling that confident smile that he knew so well.
Oh. He was stupid. Bucky Barnes was so incredibly stupid.
Of course you were a motorcycle racer. The sleek apartment, the effortless style, the way you moved on the dirt track. The way you told him you worked on weekends— it all made perfect sense.
And yet, somehow, he'd convinced himself you were a mechanic. Of course he did.
“You’ve got to be kidding me,” he muttered, bolting upright.
Sam shot him a confused look. “What?”
“That’s her,” Bucky said, his voice low in disbelief.
“Who’s ‘her’?”
“The mechanic,” he said, gesturing at the TV, as you celebrated with your team of race engineers. “The girl I told you about. That’s her.”
Sam blinked, staring at the screen, then back at Bucky. “Wait—you’re telling me she fixed up your fuel filter?”
Bucky didn’t answer, still staring at the screen. You were heading toward the press now, handing your helmet to a crew member as reporters swarmed you.
The camera cut for a post-race interview. You looked exhilarated, but still composed as you answered questions about your strategy— about the win.
Then the interviewer threw in a curveball:
“You’ve been on a hot streak lately. Is there anyone you want to dedicate this victory to?”
You hesitated just long enough for a sly grin to tug at your lips. Then, you looked directly into the camera.
“This win’s for a super soldier,” you said, your tone as playful as ever. You made a phone gesture with your fingers and winked. “Call me, Barnes.”
Bucky’s jaw dropped.
Sam burst out laughing, but in no less shock. “I cannot believe you hooked up with her! Bucky, You lucky son of a—“
But Bucky wasn’t listening anymore.
He couldn’t believe it. Of course he could keep up— you were literally leagues ahead of him.
And somehow, you were still into him.
“Well, what are you waiting for?” Sam said, nudging him hard enough to make him wince. “You gonna call her or not?”
Bucky didn’t answer, already scrambling for his phone. His hands trembled a little as he unlocked it, a smile already tugging at his lips.
He wasn’t sure what he was gonna say when you picked up, but he knew one thing for certain: Tuesdays just got a whole lot more interesting.
-end.

second chance prompt #16: "you still wear the necklace i gave you?"
the atmosphere at the dinner table was light, the boys laughing and chatting as they dug into their food, but a quiet tension lingered between you and seungcheol. the history between you two was thick, and though you tried to pretend everything was fine, your heart told a different story. you hadn’t seen him in months, not in a setting like this, not with all the old warmth and familiarity wrapped up in a shared meal.
soonyoung’s voice broke the silence, a grin on his face as he pointed toward you. "hey, didn't i get you a necklace for your birthday? i don’t think i’ve ever seen you wear it."
you stiffened, glancing down at your shirt, hoping the necklace wasn’t visible. it wasn’t—it was tucked neatly under the fabric, hidden from view—but the mention of it made your chest tighten. it had been a thoughtful gift from soonyoung, but there was something else more meaningful adorning your collarbones.
you gave a quick smile and brushed off the comment. "oh, i wear it sometimes," you lied; you've never once worn it. forcing a lightheartedness smile you didn’t feel, "just not today."
seungcheol’s gaze lingered on you from across the table. he didn’t say anything, but the bitterness in his heart grew as he thought back to the necklace he had given you. it wasn’t like he wanted to obsess over it, but every time he saw you, every time he thought of you, his mind kept circling back to that necklace—the one that was supposed to mean something. it made him wonder if you had thrown it away. if it was lying in some forgotten drawer, forgotten like the love you’d once shared.
you shifted in your seat, feeling seungcheol’s gaze on you, but when you dared to meet his eyes, he quickly looked away. it stung. the distance between you two had never been more obvious.
when dinner ended, you offered to get more soju for everyone. you rose from your seat and made your way to the kitchen, trying to push away the thoughts swirling in your mind. you hadn’t worn the necklace that soonyoung had gotten you—not once. the truth was, the only necklace you still wore was the one seungcheol had given you on your first anniversary. you had kept it on, tucked under your shirt, never wanting to take it off.
as you pulled out the soju bottles, trying to ignore the small sting in your chest, you heard footsteps behind you. jeonghan’s voice was calm, but there was an edge of amusement in it. "seungcheol, go help her with the soju. she’ll appreciate it."
you didn’t want to turn around, but you couldn’t ignore the hesitation in his tone. when seungcheol stepped into the kitchen, his presence felt heavy. you tried to act normal, focusing on uncapping the soju bottles, but the tension between you both was undeniable.
he cleared his throat. "you... need help with anything else?" his voice was tight, as if he was trying to make small talk but didn’t quite know how.
you glanced up at him, offering a small smile. "no, i’m good. just this." you tried to keep your voice light, but there was a coldness in the air that you couldn’t shake.
seungcheol nodded, looking down at the floor. he shifted awkwardly, his heart sinking with every passing second. she’s moved on, he thought bitterly. she’s fine without me, she doesn't need me.
you barely noticed the change in him, your focus fixed on the task at hand, afraid that if you looked at him too long, you might lose control of the feelings bubbling beneath the surface. you were terrified of what might slip out. the truth was, you hadn’t moved on. you couldn’t. but you couldn’t let him see that either.
the silence stretched between you two until you bent down to retrieve a cup from the bottom drawer. as you did, the neckline of your shirt shifted, revealing the necklace resting just beneath your skin. it was enough for seungcheol to see it. the sight of it caused his breath to catch in his throat.
his heart hammered in his chest. he froze, feeling an overwhelming rush of emotions flood through him. before he could stop himself, the words were out.
"you still wear the necklace i gave you?" he asked, his voice low, barely above a whisper, like he was afraid to hear the answer.
feeling caught, you didn’t look up at him immediately, but the weight of his words made your stomach twist. you felt the familiar cool metal of the necklace hitting against your skin like a reminder of him. you realised that even when it hurt to wear it, you still did.
slowly, you looked up at him, eyes soft but guarded. "i never took it off," you said quietly, a small smile tugging at your lips. "it’s still with me."
for a moment, neither of you spoke. the world outside seemed to disappear, and the only thing that mattered was the look in his eyes—the way they softened, the way the pain you’d both buried seemed to surface all at once.
finally, seungcheol took a step closer, his voice barely audible. "i... i thought you’d moved on. its been 6 months, why are you still wearing it?"
you shook your head slowly, a sadness lingering in your gaze. "i never moved on, cheol. & it reminds me of you, feels like you're still here with me."
he swallowed hard, his heart swelling with a mixture of hope and guilt. he had been wrong. you hadn’t moved on. you still wore the necklace.
he stepped forward, his hand reaching out instinctively. "do you think..you could learn to love me again?"
you took a breath, meeting his gaze with more courage than you thought you had. "i never stopped,"
the tension between you two finally began to break, the air clearing, and for the first time in months, you felt like maybe, just maybe, you could find your way back to each other.
it wasn’t the end. not yet.

Practice makes perfect | Leah Williamson x Reader
Where you and Leah practised kissing each other to prepare for kissing boys, but you quickly realise that after that you don't want to kiss anyone but her
Woso masterlist | Words: 2.5k
-----
As the only two girls on the boys' team growing up, you and Leah clicked right away. Football brought you together, but it was everything else about her that kept you close. Not many people had stuck around in your life the way Leah had. From meeting at six years old to now, a decade later, she was still your best friend.
The football dream was becoming reality for the both of you. The young Lionesses and Arsenal Academy were where you spend most of your time besides school or each other’s houses. The two of you were inseparable and everyone knew it. Where you went Leah went, and visa versa.
“Remember when we were like twelve and we practised kissing?” Leah asks you out of nowhere while you’re sitting in her bed and playing video games. You think back to the moment.
It was a similar situation to this one, you were having a sleepover and had just finished watching a romcom. “How do you know if you’re gonna be a good kisser if you’ve never kissed someone before?” Leah asked with a voice filled with curiosity.
“I have no clue. Why don’t they show those parts in the movies?” You turned off the tv and pulled the covers further over your body. “Exactly! Like when I kiss a guy for the first time, I want to make sure that like I can kiss him properly, you know?”
You nodded, understanding her concerns. “What if we practised kissing together? Then we can tell each other if we’re any good.” Leah loved your idea and instantly sat up in bed again. “You are brilliant!”
She made you sit up as well and once you did she double checked if it was okay. When you nodded in confirmation, she leaned in and pecked your lips. “How did I do?” She instantly asked. “Good I think, what about me?” She smiled proudly, “Nice, you as well.”
You had practised a couple more times that night, and when you both liked boys, you had practised some more so that the first kisses you would have with them would be perfect.
“Yeah, I remember.” In the meantime Leah had paused the game to fully focus on the conversation she wanted to have. “I was wondering if maybe we could practise something again.”
“What do you want to practise?” You asked to urge her to go on. “Well, I heard from some girls in our class that they’ve been making out with their boyfriends, and they talked about how it goes and everything, but even with that information I don’t feel even remotely ready to just make out with a guy. So, I thought that maybe, if you’re up for it of course, we could practise like we did before?”
Even with the introduction Leah gave, her question still caught you off guard. Leah’s hopeful eyes were hard to ignore while you thought about her question. “Just so we don’t totally embarrass ourselves when the time comes.”
"Yeah, exactly! I don’t want to make things weird between us though, you can totally say no.” She quickly added. “It’s not weird.” you said shifting to sitting cross-legged, facing Leah, on her bed. “We’re just practising.”
Leah’s face lit up with relief, “Exactly, Just practising.” She turned to sit cross-legged as well. She told you how your classmates had described making out, so you were both on the same page.
“So, eh,” you cleared your throat, “do we just go for it?” Leah let out a nervous laugh, “I guess so?” You nodded, which Leah took as her sign to start leaning in. She inched closer slowly, until her lips brushed yours.
At first she just pecked your lips like you had practised before. Your heart started beating faster, but you didn’t understand why. Her soft, warm lips on yours felt familiar, yet somehow different. “Still okay?” She asked to make sure you wanted to do this as well. “Yeah.”
You leaned in this time and let your lips move in sync with hers. Your heart thudded loudly in your chest as Leah reached out her hand and cupped your cheek to pull you a little closer.
When she pulled back after a few moments, her eyes searched yours. “How was that?”
Your brain felt like it was running a million miles an hour, and you were scrambling to find words. “Good.” You managed finally. “What about me?” Leah’s lips quirked into that proud smile she had done last time, “Good too.”
A feeling came over you that you had never felt before, you couldn’t quite place it, but before you could overthink it, Leah was leaning in again. “Practice makes perfect, right?” she said softly, and when you didn’t move away, her lips were on yours again.
That night while Leah slept soundly besides you, your mind wouldn’t stop racing. Trying to make sense of what you were feeling.
It wasn’t until a few weeks later when you saw Leah kiss a boy in your class, that you realised what was happening. The moment you saw the two of them together, you felt a pang of jealousy. All you knew in that moment was that you weren’t jealous of Leah in that moment, but you were jealous of him.
You turned on your heels and got away from the situation as quickly as possible. Of course, you headed straight over to the football field. The one place where everything felt right. You must’ve spent hours kicking a ball around until your parent’s called asking when you’d be home. “No Leah tonight?” Your mom had asked when you walked in, seemingly without the blonde by your side. You hadn’t even thought about it, but usually Leah would join you on Fridays. “Eh, no not tonight.” You say quickly. “Do I have time for a quick shower?” Your mom nodded and you rushed to your room.
You checked your phone and sure enough you had a bunch of messages from Leah. The last one read I hope everything is alright. Couldn’t find you at school so I headed home. Please text me back!
You didn’t text Leah back that night, or the next morning. It wasn’t that you were mad at her, of course you weren’t, you didn’t think you ever could be, but you just didn’t know what to say. Every time you thought about her, you saw that boy’s lips on hers. Every time you saw it play back in your mind, it made your chest ache.
But Leah was Leah. Persistent, stubborn, and your best friend. So, it didn’t take her long to just show up at your house unannounced.
“You’ve been avoiding me.” She stated from your doorframe, after your dad had let her in. She found you laying on the floor with one of your textbooks in front of you, trying to bury yourself into your homework. “What’s going on?”
You glanced at her and then quickly focused back on your textbook. “Nothing.” Leah shook her head and stepped inside, closing the door behind her. “Liar.” She sighed, “Did I do something wrong?”
“No!” You said a little too quickly and defensive for Leah to believe it. She crossed her arms and leaned against your door, studying you like she was trying to solve a puzzle. “I just need some space.” You said softly, unable to meet her eye.
“Since when do we do space?” Her voice softened. She walked further into your room and sat down on the edge of your bed. “Come on, talk to me.”
You wanted to. You wanted to tell her everything. You always told Leah everything, but how could you tell her about your feelings? How could you tell her that you were jealous of a guy she kissed? Talk about the way your heart raced when you made eye contact with her?
“I’m fine, Lee.” You forced a smile, but it didn’t quite reach your eyes and Leah could tell. You saw that she was fighting her inner monologue to press further, her lips parting like she was about to. Before she could say anything, your mother yelled upstairs, “Leah, honey, are you staying for dinner?”
Leah turned to you, “Do you want me to go?” You shake your head, “No, it’s okay. You can stay.” She opened the door and told your mom she would love to before turning back to you. “I’m gonna help her with dinner, you know, so you can have some more space.” This time you noticed her smile not fully reaching her eyes, but before you could say anything, she had already closed the door behind herself.
You stopped ignoring Leah, because you knew she would just find a way in, but that didn’t mean that your interactions were any less awkward, well at least for you. From Leah’s side it seemed like nothing had happened, while you questioned every interaction you had with her.
When she laughed at your jokes, or let her hand linger on your arm or leg, everything made your skin feel like it was on fire.
A few weeks later Leah was picking out her prom outfit with her mom. She had tried on a bunch of dresses, but none of them seemed to be what she was looking for. Today was the last chance of finding something, since prom was literally tonight. So, Amanda was determined to spend the whole morning driving from store to store until they found something.
It was the third store of the morning where Leah’s eyes fell on a baby blue suit, and she knew instantly that that was going to be the one. Her mom encouraged her to put it on, and the smile on her daughter’s face was exactly the reason why she had.
“This is going to be the one!” Leah said as she admired the suit in the mirror. “It’s lovely Leah Cathrine.” Leah smiled big, “Thank you.” After paying for the clothes, the pair headed back to the car.
“Oh mom, I wanted to ask if you could drive y/n and me tonight.” Her mom’s brow furrowed. “Darling of course I would, but I thought y/n wasn’t going?” Leah looks at her mom as if she was crazy. “What makes you think that?”
“Oh well, because that’s what she said yesterday. She said she wasn’t really feeling up to going.” Leah didn’t understand, you hadn’t told her anything. “But she was so excited about it and had her outfit picked out like months ago already. Do you know why she isn’t going?”
Amanda shakes her head, “I don’t know.” Leah was quick to respond. “You didn’t push further?” Amanda chuckles lightly, “No, that’s more your thing, darling.”
Leah sat back in the seat and crossed her arm, going over what she could do. “Can you drive me to her place tonight?” She nodded, “Sure, darling.”
You were watching a movie in your sweats when you heard a knock on the door. When you opened the door, Leah stood in front of you with a small bouquet of flowers. “What are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be at prom?”
“I could ask you the same thing.” Leah shoots back instantly. “I’m not going Lee, you should still go though. I’m sure your boyfriend would like you to be there.”
“Boyfriend?” Leah steps inside and closes the door behind her. “What are you talking about? I don’t have a boyfriend.” You shrug your shoulders, “I saw you and Steve kiss, figured you two were together.”
“Oh no definitely not.” Leah said defensively, “He kissed me, and I told him that I wasn’t interested.” You searched her eyes for anything to prove what she was saying wrong, but she seemed sincere. “Oh.”
“So, come to prom with me?” Leah said, holding out the bouquet to you. “Sorry, Lee, I can’t.” She retracted the flowers reluctantly. “Why not?”
Her question hung in the air. Again you wanted to tell her, but you just couldn’t. “I just can’t, please drop it.” But Leah was Leah and there wasn’t any scenario in which she would drop this. “I won’t drop it. You’ve been excited about your outfit, the music, the pictures. You’ve been talking about prom non-stop for months and now you’re here in sweats not going. Please just tell me what’s going on. If I did something, let me in and let me fix it.” Her plea sounded desperate.
“You didn’t do anything wrong, and there is nothing you can fix.” You sighed in frustration, wishing she would just drop it. “Did someone else do something? Please just tell me what’s going on.”
“Fine, okay, I’ll tell you.” Leah focussed on you instantly, not having expected you to break so soon. “I can’t go to prom with you because ever since we practised making out, all I can think about is wanting to kiss you again.”
Your eyes were looking anywhere but Leah, not ready to see the way she would react to that confession. “Please look at me.” She slowly reached up her hand to your cheek to turn your head to face her. You expected anger, disgust, or even hurt in her eyes, but instead you were met with softness.
“You know the reason I told Steve I wasn’t interested?” You shook your head. “It’s because after he kissed me, I felt nothing. Which was a stark opposite to how I felt when we kissed. I swear it was just practise when I asked you, but I think that was exactly what I needed to realise my feelings for you.” Leah confessed.
You stare at her for a moment, taking in the confession. She liked you the same way that you liked her? The corners of your lips slowly rose as it was all coming together in your head. And then without hesitation, you lean in and kiss her for real this time. She kissed you back instantly, and pulled you closer like she had done last time. It felt even better than your time practising, now knowing your feelings for each other.
When Leah pulled away, she leaned her forehead against yours. “So, prom?” Your smile grew. “Yes, just let me get changed.”
You rushed to your room and quickly got ready. “Wow, you look amazing!” Leah said as you walked back downstairs. “So do you!” You pecked her lips appreciatively. She took your hand and pulled you out the door where her mom was still waiting in the driveway. “Ready to go to prom, girls?” She knew by your happy faces that whatever was going on between the two of you these past weeks, was resolved. “Yeah, more than ready.” You said and Leah squeezed your hand. “Yeah, let’s go.”

u have beautiful writing and it’s honestly a talent! you’re so quick with it like hello? may u please do how arcane characters would react to having a partner who likes making handmade gifts instead of buying them? me personally i LOVE making handmade gifts because it seems more beautiful putting in work for my friends and family! honestly you’re my favorite writer on this app I’ll most definitely think about makin u a handmade gift! you’re so cool!
FIRST OFF??? YOU are the coolest person EVER and reading your message made me do a little happy dance in my chair, so thank you for THAT! 🥹 The fact that you’re out here pouring love into handmade gifts for your friends and family?? ICONIC. Handmade gifts are SO slept on, and you’re out here proving they’re the superior love language. If I could, I’d be your hype squad 24/7. (Also, i would ugly cry if you made me a gift Mamas.)
Okay, okay, let’s jump into how the Arcane characters would react to having a partner who loves making handmade gifts because spoiler: they’re all gonna be absolutely obsessed with you. Let’s GO.
———————————————————————-
Jinx
Jinx would LOSE HER MIND every single time you gave her a gift. She’s such a sucker for anything you pour your heart into.
• “Wait, wait—YOU made this? For ME?” She’s staring at it with huge eyes like you just handed her a treasure map.
• She’d keep EVERYTHING you give her, no matter what it is. You could hand her a crocheted pigeon and she’d be like, “This is the best thing anyone’s ever given me.”
• She’d totally try to make something for you in return, but it’d be chaotic as hell. Like, you’d get a DIY flamethrower or something held together with duct tape and glitter.
Basically, she’s your number one fan and would brag about you constantly.
Vi
Vi is playing it cool, but deep down, she’s melting into a puddle of feelings. She’d get all quiet when you give her something and just kinda… stare at it like she can’t believe someone would put in that much effort for her.
• If you made her something wearable, like a bracelet or beanie? That thing is NEVER coming off.
• She’s not much for words, but she’d pull you into a tight hug and just whisper, “Thanks. I mean it.”
• Also, if anyone dares to make fun of your gifts, she’s throwing hands. (“What’d you say about my partner’s hand-painted mug? Yeah, that’s what I thought.”)
Sevika
Sevika would be SO caught off guard when you hand her a gift. She’s not used to people doing thoughtful stuff for her, so she’s just… staring at you, holding your gift like it’s a foreign object.
• If it’s something practical, like a leather pouch or gloves? She’s putting them to use immediately. And trust, she’ll let everyone know her partner made them.
• If it’s something sentimental? She’s keeping it tucked away somewhere safe, but you’ll catch her looking at it when she thinks you’re not watching.
She’s a little rough around the edges, but trust me, she cherishes EVERY handmade thing you give her.
Silco
Silco would be SO intrigued by the concept of handmade gifts. Like, he’s trying to figure out why you’d put in so much effort instead of just buying something. But the more he thinks about it, the more he realizes it’s because you care about him. And yeah, that hits him right in his cold, scheming heart.
• Something elegant or functional, like a pen case or a decorative box? He’s putting it on his desk like it belongs in a museum.
• Something more emotional, like a portrait of him and Jinx? He’ll treasure it forever but keep it private—it’s too precious for the world to see.
You’ve officially cracked the Silco Code: thoughtful effort = instant softie.
Vander
Vander is 100% DAD MODE ACTIVATED every time you give him something. He’s smiling so big it hurts, just standing there like, “You made this? For me?”
• If it’s something for the bar, like a new sign or decoration? He’s putting it up immediately and making everyone compliment it.
• More personal gifts, like a knitted scarf? He’s rocking it every single day, even if it’s summer.
• He’d also love hearing about your process, sitting there with his tea like, “Tell me about this one. What inspired you?” Big golden retriever vibes, honestly.
Ekko
Ekko would be OBSESSED with your gifts. Like, you’ve unlocked a whole new love language for him.
• If you made him something for the Firelights, like a custom mask or patch? He’s adding it to his gear immediately. “Look at this! My partner made it. Isn’t it sick?”
• If it’s something sentimental, he’d carry it around like a good luck charm. It could be the tiniest trinket, and he’d be like, “This? This is everything.”
• He’d also 100% try to make something for you in return. Now you’ve got matching handmade energy, and everyone is jealous of your vibes.
Jayce
Jayce would be SO touched by your gifts. This man is a golden retriever in human form, so every time you give him something, he’s beaming like you just made his whole week.
• If it’s something for his lab, like a personalized toolbox? He’s showing it off to Viktor like, “Look what my partner made. Aren’t they amazing?”
• Something sentimental, like a framed photo or painting? He’s hanging it in his house and telling EVERYONE about it.
Jayce is basically your personal hype squad, and he’s never gonna stop appreciating your creativity.
Viktor
Viktor would be SO soft about your gifts. Like, he’s not used to people going out of their way for him, so when you hand him something, he’s just sitting there like, “You made this? For me?”
• If it’s something practical, like a custom notebook for his designs, he’s using it every day and thinking of you while he works.
• Sentimental gifts, like a sketch or keepsake? He’s keeping them close, tucked away in a spot where he can see them when he needs a boost.
You’d inspire him to start tinkering on something special just for you. Now you’ve got your own Viktor Original™.
Caitlyn
Caitlyn would be SO charmed by your gifts. She’s used to fancy, expensive things, but the effort and love you put into your handmade stuff? That’s what gets her.
• Make her something practical, like gloves or a scarf? She’s wearing them CONSTANTLY and bragging to everyone.
• If it’s more sentimental, like a personal letter or drawing? She’s keeping it somewhere safe and rereading it when she misses you.
Caitlyn loves thoughtful gestures, so you’re basically her dream partner. Period.
Mel Medarda
Mel would be absolutely enchanted by your gifts. She’s surrounded by luxury, but your handmade work feels so much more personal.
• Something elegant, like jewelry or an intricate painting? She’s showing it off at council meetings like it’s priceless.
• Something heartfelt? She’s keeping it in her private quarters where she can admire it when she’s alone.
Mel would also encourage you to turn your craft into a business because she believes in your talent 100%.
Ambessa Medarda
Ambessa would be IMPRESSED. She’s a practical person, so if you make her something functional, like a knife sheath or leather gear, she’s putting it to use immediately.
• If it’s sentimental, she’d keep it hidden, but trust—it means a lot to her.
She’d respect your dedication and probably compare you to a warrior. “It takes discipline to create something with your own hands.”
Heimerdinger
Heimerdinger would be THRILLED. He LOVES creativity, and your handmade gifts would light up his world.
• If you made him something clever or whimsical, he’s showing it off to everyone in Piltover. “Look what my partner made! Aren’t they brilliant?”
• Sentimental stuff? He’s putting it in his workshop where he can admire it while he tinkers.
He’d also want to collaborate on a project with you because you’re basically his new favorite inventor.
Salo
Okay, Salo would be one of those people who doesn’t know how to react at first, but you’d totally catch him staring at your gift later, all soft and thoughtful.
• If you made him something like a carved figurine or a small keepsake, he’d keep it in his pocket for good luck and touch it when he’s thinking about you.
• He wouldn’t be super showy about it, but you’d KNOW it meant a lot to him when he said something lowkey like, “You didn’t have to, but… thanks. This is nice.”
• Deep down, he’d be so touched that you took the time to make something just for him. Handmade gifts just hit different for someone like Salo, who appreciates quiet, meaningful gestures.
Scar
Scar is giving CHAOTIC, “OMG YOU MADE THIS??” energy every single time. Like, no matter what it is, he’s holding it up like you just gifted him the crown jewels.
• If you made him something goofy, like a silly little knitted hat or a bracelet, he’s rocking it IMMEDIATELY. “Look at this! My partner made it! Aren’t they the best?”
• He’d totally try to “help” you make stuff sometimes, but he’d just end up making a mess and laughing about it the whole time.
• Scar is your ultimate hype man, always gassing you up and telling everyone how talented you are. You could hand him a macaroni necklace, and he’d be like, “Masterpiece. Absolute masterpiece.”
Maddie Nolen
Maddie is secretly the softest bean about your handmade gifts. Like, she’d be a little shy at first when you gave her something, but you’d catch her smiling at it later when she thought you weren’t looking.
• If you made her something practical, like a cozy scarf or a cute notebook, she’d use it all the time and feel so warm and fuzzy knowing it came from you.
• Sentimental gifts? She’s absolutely treasuring them forever. She’d keep them somewhere special, like her desk or bedside table, and glance at them whenever she’s missing you.
• Maddie would totally ask about your process too, like, “How did you even come up with this? It’s amazing.” She’s so supportive, and your gifts would mean the world to her.
Lest
Lest would be absolutely ENCHANTED by your handmade gifts. Like, she’d hold them so gently, as if she’s afraid of breaking something so precious.
• If you made her something elegant or delicate, like a hand-painted vase or a piece of embroidery, she’d treat it like it’s the most valuable thing she owns.
• Lest would also love the thought and care behind your gifts. She’s the type to listen closely when you explain how you made something, nodding along with genuine interest.
• You’d totally catch her showing off your gifts to her friends, like, “My partner made this. Isn’t it beautiful?” She’d treasure everything you give her, no matter how big or small.
And that’s it! TL;DR: YOU are a gift, and every Arcane character would feel insanely lucky to have someone as thoughtful and creative as you. Keep being amazing, bestie. 💜

Adam sat on the edge of her bed, his wings folding close as he exhaled deeply. “Kari,” he began softly, his voice uncharacteristically tender, “I get it. You want to help. You’ve got this crazy, burning need to fix everything, to save everyone. It’s a good thing—it really is—but you’re just one kid. One stubborn, scrappy, badass, loud-mouthed kid with more heart than sense.”
He reached out, resting a hand gently on her shoulder. “But here’s the thing: you can’t help anyone if you’re dead. Pushing yourself too hard, running straight into the fire without thinking, it’s just gonna get you killed. And then? No one benefits. Not Moxxie, not me, not the people you want to save.”
Adam’s tone shifted slightly, a tinge of regret slipping through. “As for Moxxie… Look, I liked the guy. For a shitty little Imp, he wasn’t half bad. Got a good head on his shoulders, even if it’s a little big for his body.” He smirked faintly, though it didn’t reach his eyes. “I hope he’s dead.” He held up a hand before she could protest. “And I mean dead dead, not shambling-around-like-one-of-those-zombies dead. No one deserves to go out like that. Least of all him.”
Adam leaned back, looking at her seriously. “You did what you could. You’re still doing what you can. But sometimes, helping doesn’t mean running into the fray right now. Sometimes it means sitting still, fortifying your spot, and living to fight another day. You’ve got a good head, Kari. Use it. We’ll find Moxxie if we can, but right now, you’ve gotta focus on staying alive and sane.”
He gave her shoulder a light squeeze. “That’s not giving up. That’s strategy.”

200 Goals
Hiiiii - this is a little something i thought of to celebrate Alexia's 200 goals for Barça. I hope you enjoy.
Alexia Putellas x Reader
Description: You're just so proud of Alexia but she's being stubborn
Word Count: 1.3k
TW: suggestive (? ish - idk tho)
Beautiful Girl Masterlist
You lay on your back, the soft glow of the evening casting a golden hue across the room, bathing everything in a serene warmth. The only sounds were the faint rhythm of your breathing and the comforting steadiness of Alexia’s presence against you. Her arms encircled your waist tightly, her grip speaking volumes of her need to hold you close, as if letting go would shatter the peaceful bubble you both had created. Her body moulded perfectly against yours, her head nestled against your bare chest, where your heartbeat played a soothing melody just for her.
Her hair, richer and more vibrant in its deepening brunette shade, spilled over your skin in delicate waves. Each slight shift she made sent strands tickling against you, a gentle reminder of her closeness. She squirmed with the endearing restlessness of someone who wouldn’t settle until she’d found the perfect spot, her movements small but purposeful. Finally, she stilled, her leg sliding over yours with an air of possession, anchoring you both in the intimacy of the moment.
Her weight, slight but grounding, seemed to tether you to something far beyond the physical. The quiet gave way to a profound stillness, a space filled not with words but with the unsaid – the shared understanding that neither of you wanted to be anywhere else. Her breaths, soft and even, matched the rhythm of your own, and as her fingertips brushed idly against your side, you felt a wave of gratitude wash over you. This was home – no walls, no boundaries, just her, holding you like you were the most precious thing in the world.
“Two hundred goals, baby,” you murmured with pride, your lips brushing against the crown of her head. You didn’t need to see her face to know how she reacted. The image of her shy smile, the faint blush that always crept across her cheeks when she felt overwhelmed by love or praise, played vividly in your mind. True to form, she burrowed deeper into your chest, hiding her expression in the safety of your embrace.
“Todo para ti,” Alexia whispered softly, her voice carrying an almost reverent tone.
You smiled, touched by her sincerity, but you weren’t about to let her downplay her own greatness. “That’s kind of you, beautiful girl,” you replied, your fingers tracing soothing patterns up and down her back. “And I’m honoured you feel that way. But this – this achievement – it’s yours. Let yourself have it.”
Alexia shook her head against your chest, her determination evident even in her gentle protest. “No,” she said firmly. “You did so much for me – getting me back onto the pitch, helping me feel comfortable again. I wouldn’t have done this without you.”
Her stubbornness made you laugh, a warm chuckle rumbling through your chest as you hugged her tighter. “Baby,” you drawled playfully, exaggerating your plea. “Please, just let yourself be proud of what you’ve done. For me, for you, for everyone.”
She hesitated for just a moment before responding, and when she did, you could feel the mischievous grin spreading across her face, her cheek shifting slightly against your skin. “Nope,” Alexia said, a smirk lacing her tone.
Her stubbornness was as endearing as it was exasperating, and you couldn’t help but hold her closer, your heart full as you soaked in the warmth of her love, her gratitude, and her quiet refusal to ever take all the credit.
“So stubborn,” you teased, a warm laugh bubbling up as Alexia’s fingers found your waist, her pinch drawing a surprised squeal from your lips.
“Eres el indicado para hablar,” she countered, gasping between her own bursts of laughter, her voice tinged with mock indignation. Her words spilled out in a playful rush, her accent wrapping around them in a way that made your chest tighten with affection. She lifted her head, her eyes sparkling with mischief as they locked with yours.
“Me? Stubborn?” you asked, feigning innocence as you raised a brow.
“Sí,” she shot back, her grin widening as she shifted to straddle your hips, her weight settling comfortably against you. “Who’s the one who refuses to let me take care of anything when we’re home? Or insists on staying up late just to make sure I’m okay after a game? Hmm?”
You opened your mouth to argue but closed it just as quickly, unable to deny her words when she was staring down at you with that knowing look, her hands now resting firmly on your chest. “Okay, fine,” you admitted with a soft chuckle. “Maybe I’m a little stubborn. But only because I love you.”
Alexia’s playful smirk softened, her gaze turning tender as she leaned forward. “Lo sé,” she whispered, her lips brushing against yours in a kiss so gentle it sent a shiver down your spine.
When she pulled back, her expression was thoughtful, her fingers tracing small circles on your chest. “But you don’t have to do everything alone,” she murmured, her voice quieter now. “You take such good care of me, cariño. Let me do the same for you sometimes.”
Her words settled over you like a warm blanket, filling the space between you with a love that felt almost tangible. You reached up, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear before cupping her face in your hands. “You already do, Alexia,” you said softly. “In more ways than you know.”
Her smile was small but radiant, her cheeks tinged with that familiar blush that always melted your heart. She leaned down again, this time pressing her forehead to yours, her breaths mingling with your own as she closed her eyes.
“I don’t know what I’d do without you,” she confessed, her voice barely above a whisper.
“You’ll never have to find out,” you promised, pulling her closer until her body moulded perfectly against yours. You felt her exhale deeply, her tension melting away as she relaxed into your embrace.
The two of you lay there in silence for a moment, her heartbeat syncing with yours. Finally, Alexia broke the quiet, her voice tinged with amusement. “You know,” she said, her lips twitching into a smirk, “for someone who says I’m stubborn, you seem to enjoy it.”
You laughed, shaking your head. “Only because it means you never back down when it matters.”
She raised an eyebrow, the playful glint in her eyes impossible to miss as her smirk widened into something irresistibly mischievous. “Like now?” she teased, her voice dipping just enough to make your heart skip a beat. The challenge in her tone was clear, and it sent a thrill racing through you.
“Like now,” you replied, your voice low and warm, laced with affection and a hint of surrender. Without waiting for another word, you reached up, your fingers threading into her hair as you pulled her down into another kiss.
This one was deeper, more deliberate, a kiss that spoke of everything you didn’t need to say aloud. Her lips were soft and insistent, moving against yours with a perfect blend of tenderness and fire. Her hands slid to your shoulders, gripping you as if she wanted to pour every ounce of her love, her passion, her stubborn devotion into the moment.
Her weight shifted slightly, pressing her closer against you as the kiss deepened. Time seemed to slow, the world outside your embrace fading until there was nothing left but the warmth of her touch, the taste of her on your lips, and the quiet hum of love filling the space between you.
When she finally pulled back, her breathing was heavier, her cheeks flushed a delicate pink that made her look even more radiant. She lingered just inches away, her forehead brushing against yours as her smirk softened into a smile. “See?” she murmured, her voice a little breathless. “Being stubborn isn’t so bad.”
You laughed softly, your hands sliding down to rest on her waist, holding her steady. “Not when it’s you,” you admitted, brushing your thumb over the curve of her hip. “You make it impossible not to love every part of you – even the parts that drive me crazy.”
Alexia chuckled, her laughter vibrating through you as she pressed another quick, playful kiss to your lips. “Good,” she whispered, her grin returning. “Because you’re stuck with all of it.”

need to be watching comfort movies with manon and holding her like please let me take care of you my heart hurts
i stopped studying to write this up, it's probably trash but i needed to do something
— ANYTIME, ALWAYS 👑
warnings/tags: fluff, established relationship, f!reader
you knew something was off the moment you stepped inside the dorm for the girls after getting a text from manon. it was quiet with the rest of the girls gone for the award show, an oddity for the home that was buzzing always. you were given an extra key from sophia who explicitly told you that you were the only one to have an extra and to not let the staff find out. to be fair, you didn't really care though if the staff found out right now.
when you got the text from manon that read; can you come by? :(, with nothing else, you had a feeling something was wrong. you showed up at the dorm within twenty minutes.
you step into the living room, seeing manon sitting on the couch with the hood of her hoodie over her head watching, or trying, to watch a movie on the tv. she doesn't even notice your presence until you step closer to her. "hey, baby," you say softly, making her finally realize you're there and look up at you.
"hey," she says quietly. "how did you get in?"
"sophia gave me a key a while ago," you answer, sitting down next to her on the couch. "is everything okay?" you ask hesitantly.
"mm," manon hums, not moving. "just...things," she mumbles.
"okay..." your voice trails off as your eyes glance around. "do you want to talk about it?"
manon shakes her head, her eyes finally meeting yours with tears in her eyes. she opens her mouth to speak but you're wrapping your arms around her and pulling her into your embrace before she can get anything out. she puts her face in your neck, her arms grabbing your shirt tightly as if you would disappear.
"it's okay," you whisper softly. "it's okay," you reiterate a few times, your hand rubbing her back reassuringly. you can feel a few wet droplets hitting your skin, and you pull her closer to you, her body practically pressing against yours as she quietly cries into your neck.
you can hear her mumbling into your skin, and you can only make out a few words every now and then, but you can decipher it and figure out what she's saying. "look at me, baby," you say quietly, moving your hands to her face.
manon slowly lifts her head from your neck to look at you, her eyes slightly red from crying with a few tears still trailing down her cheeks. "i-i don-don't understand-"
"hey, hey," you interrupt her quickly, knowing exactly where it would lead. "i'm going to stop you right there. just breathe, okay? everything will be okay, you will be okay. i don't know what you're seeing, but ignore it. it's hard, i know. it's been hard, i know. but you're the strongest person i've ever met," you wipe the tears away with the pads of your thumbs. "i love you so much, the girls love you so much, everyone loves you. forget the small percentage of people who are jealous because you're talented and they aren't. you are so important to so many people. you mean the world to so many, to me. i love you so much."
listening to your words has more tears welling in manon's eyes as she nods along to what you're saying. "i love you too," she mumbles quietly.
you lean in and softly press your lips against hers, feeling her reciprocate instantly as her hands rest on your waist. you pull away for a moment, leaning your forehead on hers while wiping away the remaining tears. "is there anything you want to do?" you ask.
manon shakes her head lightly. "not really. i was watching a movie, but it's kinda trash."
you nod while giving a short hum. "okay. how about we put a good movie on and i'll order us something to eat?" you suggest.
"i'm okay with that," she replies.
"okay," you peck her lips, smiling slightly. you grab the remote off the table and grab manon's arm, pulling her down on top of you as you lay on your back along the couch. she giggles softly at the action, resting her head on your chest as you look through the movies listed on the tv. putting on a random one, you put the remote down and look back at manon, wrapping your arms around her. "i love you so much," you quietly speak.
"i love you too," she responds in the same voice. "please don't leave," she whispers.
"i won't," you immediately reply. "i promise." you kiss the top of her head. "you don't have to worry about that. i'm staying for as long as you'll keep me around."
"forever?" she murmurs.
"forever."

les mis us tour on november 21, 2024 !!
javert (nick rehberger) said “no 😒” so snootily
the valjean (nick cartell) was INCREDIBLE. his “FLIIIGHT” note in the prologue was an inSANE high belt. and he did it while twirling around?? like WOAH.
the bishop (randy jeter) said “my friend :) you left so early” so gently
the factory girl who fought fantine was genuinely great??? like when she said “sleeping around” she made a little gesture and got all up in her face about it
before fantine died, valjean and her hugged 🥺
the thernadiers were GREAT. we had a panel with the actor of marius (jake david smith) and thernadier (matt crowle) and thernadier said he had a newer take on the character that he described as more of a jester, and you could tell! he really leaned into the physicality. i liked it
when madame did the sign of the cross thernadier just like. flopped his hands vaguely around
stars was fucking incredible. like WHAT. such a stoic javert…and a RICH voice. absolutely gorgeous rendition
javert and gavroche had this little moment after javert cleared everyone away where they just looked at each other like “ok……..respect.”
KYLE ADAMS GRANTAIRE IS BETTER THAN I COULD EVER IMAGINE
during red&black grantaire kissed combeferre on the head and later sat on his lap. he was also just SO CUNTYY. he crossed his legs in the most CUNTY way and just traipsed around and messed around with people and SERVED
when grantaire said “let’s give them a a screwing they’ll never forget” he empasized screwing like “let’s give them a screwing 😏💅 they’ll never forget”
ALSO!!!!! his and gavroche’s friendship was amazing !!!! like they would hug all the time 🥺🥺🥺 they had so many little moments. after grantaire’s verse in drink with me gavroche came over and hugged him on the legss!!! 💔💔😫😫 and when gavroche died (holy shit) grantaire ran over and hugged him and tried to wake him like WTFFF 💥💥💥💥💔💔💔
OKAYYY OH MY GOSH eponine (mya rena hunter) was amazing!!!!!!!! her on my own gave me CHILLS WOAHAHAH SHE WAS INCREDIBLE!!
AND MARIUS AND COSETTE WERE SO SWEET <3333 THEYRE DYNAMIC WAS EVERYTHING. like the cosette (delaney guyer) was SO short it was adorable. also her voice was naturally high and i really enjoyed it
marius was great. when he said “marius pontmercy” in heart full of love he bowed to cosette so goofily 😂
ALSO A LITTLE FALL OF RAIN!!!!!!!!!!! WTF!!! It was done so intimately—marius and eponine were so close to each other in their own corner and the whole stage was dim except a spotlight on them, and they sang so softly to each other it was like you were leaning into this conversation between just the two of them it was 💔💔💔💔💔💔😭😭😭😭
also during that song at one point gavroche tried to come over but grantaire pulled him back
and bring him home holy shiT. he started so quiet and gentle, but then his voice just SOARED as he got into it. just WOAH.
also!! when valjean read marius’ letter he stopped at the “well” when marius is writing about how cosette loves him as well. so like “love me as…well 🤨” SOO funny. bc he’s always so *valjean* and serious yknow but that break was so good
JAVERT’S SOLILOQUY. HOLY SHIT. he did my FAV thing of screaming the first two lines which 10000/10💥💥💥💥💥💥 and when he jumped, the set just like UNRAVELED around him (like how he himself was unraveling!!!) and he stayed suspended in midair while being moved back
at the end when valjean dies, he had the same candlesticks that the bishop gave him set up!!
#these are just SOME of my scattered notes from yesterday#i havent seen les mis live at a professional level so if these are like normal things they always do in productions IDK#like how they changed the lyric in thernadiers at the wedding to “this one’s a queer and i’ll try it too” and dipped this random dude#<- like is that recent?? did i hear it right?? idk#the whole show was fucking life changing#also i recorded audio of the panel we had with the actors and i might post it :3#BIG SIGH i fuckkng love les mis so MUCH#les mis#les miserables#les mis us tour#les mis us tour 2024#irl

MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THE END OF ARCANE SEASON 2
So uh…. the end of Arcane tore my heart out and shattered it into a million pieces. I may have blacked out and written a short, post-canon fic of Vi mourning for Jinx. Fic under the cut, or you can read it on ao3 here:
The dust from the war on Piltover had settled. Fires were extinguished, and bodies were buried. A worn hopefulness had spread over the city, broken bones held perfectly still with the slim chance they might mend. Everyone had lost something, and now only the question of what came next remained.
It was late at night, but Vi couldn’t sleep. She hadn’t been able to rest for more than a few hours at a time in the past few days. Most nights, she laid in bed besides Caitlyn, watching the steady rise and fall of her chest, clinging to the reassurance that at least one person she loved was still here.
Silent feet hit carpet as Vi slipped out of bed. She let herself wander the Kiramman estate in silence. A ghost echoing through the hallway, haunted by the weight of all she’d lost.
At some point she found herself in the garden. The moonlight illuminated the array of flowers and trees that surrounded a marble water fountain. Vi settled herself at its edge, staring into the water. It shimmered blue, like the hextech crystals her sister had loved. Gentle ripples fanned out from its center with soft splashes, a mimicry of Jinx’s hair, loose and wild as it had been in the cell.
You’re never going to give up on me, are you? Another broken promise, another betrayal, another failure. It wasn’t fair. Vi had only ever asked for one thing. For her little sister to be safe right beside her. She wanted to cry and scream and throw things and rage against the entire fucking world until there was nothing left but ashes, because what was even the point if her sister wasn't-
“Vi?” A soft voice broke her from her thoughts. Caitlyn crouched down next to her, wearing a blue robe and a concerned expression. “Are you alright?”
Vi looked away. “I just needed to think.”
“You miss your sister, don’t you?” she asked as she sat beside Vi.
“She can’t just be gone, Cait.” Her voice cracked around the plea. “Not after all this.”
“What happened to her… I know it was unfair,” Caitlyn said softly, “but you can’t blame yourself. Jinx made her choice.”
“Well she chose wrong!” Vi snapped.
“Maybe. But it was still her choice. Don’t take that away from her.”
“She never really listened to me,” Vi said with a wet laugh, “not when it really mattered. No one could tell her what to do.”
Caitlyn smiled sadly. “Your sister had so much spirit. So much energy.”
“You don’t have to…” Vi sighed. “She killed your mom. You don’t have to pretend for me.”
“I think we’re all more than our worst actions. Your sister included.” Caitlyn reached down and took her hand. “I only wish I’d had the chance to know the side of her you saw.”
“She was so smart. Even when we were little kids. She was always screwing around with some gadget or other.” Vi shook her head with a fond smile. “It drove Milo crazy sometimes. And she was so… good. I know how that sounds now, with everything she did, but…”
“I understand. I saw how much she loved you, Vi,” Caitlyn murmured.
“She just wanted to help,” Vi said despairingly, “even when everything was falling apart, even after I abandoned her… all she wanted was family. That’s why Silco got to her. That's why she died. Because I failed.”
“You were just a child,” Caitlyn reminded her gently.
“So was she!” Vi’s shouting gave way to sobs. “She was just a kid. And now she- she won’t get the chance to be anything else.”
Caitlyn pulled her into a tight hug, and she collapsed into her girlfriend’s arms. Vi wept bitter tears for her parents, their broken dreams for a better world, for Mylo and Claggor, two street kids who could have been so much more than were allowed to be, for Vander, his undying devotion to them all. She wept for Powder, that earnest little girl, and for Jinx, that wild fighter, and for every person her sister ever had been and would never be. And Vi cried for herself- for a family that had gone up in flames twice, for the miserable years she’d spent alone, for the hope she’d stubbornly hung onto all these years that had plummeted into the abyss with her sister. Vi wept and shook and sobbed, letting out all her anguish, all her pain, until she finally reached a point where she had no tears left inside her. Nothing left to give.
“I’m sorry for making you deal with this,” she whispered into Caitlyn’s chest.
“It’s alright.” Her girlfriend pressed a kiss to her forehead. “I’ve got you. Always.”

Minors do not interact.

We built this tomb
A wave of cigarette smoke grazed your confused expression, it went about the edges of your open satin robe and glided on your exposed skin. The stream of thoughts that came upon you was so violent, it went against your core beliefs.
Sevika took another drag of her cigarette and looked at you from the corner of her eyes, she was making a genuine effort to decipher your expression, yet ultimately concluded that your unpredictable mood swings would always remain a mystery to her. She lunged forward and grabbed your arm.
"What could I possibly have done this time? You are so weak that it drives me insane" Sevika said as her lips curled into a snarling frown.
"How can you even ask me that?" You stood up, and as you did the material of your robe shifted and exposed your bare body embellished with bruises in different stages of healing.
"You are way too demanding, you know."Sevika spoke, displeased with your attitude.
You were drowning in the torment of Sevika's abuse, a relentless cycle that had twisted into a grotesque parody of routine. You could feel yourself unraveling, the edges of your identity fraying under the weight of her sadistic dominance. Many things kept you by her side from the fact that you knew she had a soft heart when you knew how to behave around her to the fact that she would protect you from everything and everyone if she needed to keep you safe.
The only thing that kept you remotely sane was the fact that you two built this tomb, and you will not be filling it alone. You always thought that you would never stray away from her, but your patience was starting to wear out.
Sevika finished her cigarette, and she was looking up at you with a nasty smirk on her face; you were still standing in front of her with your robe open. While you stood, she moved towards you on the floor, pushed your satin robe aside, and licked your leg with a smirk on her face.
You looked down at her, reached for your cigarettes, and lighted one up while you rolled your eyes when you saw her taking her mechanical arm off. You knew damn well what that meant. You agreed for her to take it off when she was planning something suggestive.
"Don't make things difficult, let me take charge and set things straight, the way it's meant to be."
With a smile, you looked at her and bent down, signaling for her to kiss you. You then gazed at her amputated arm before kissing her passionately and putting off your cigarette on the stump.
Sevika leaned into the kiss, her intensity growing with each passing moment. Her bites became so powerful that you felt the sharp sting of your lip splitting, a warm trickle of blood following soon after.
You commanded her to strip and pass you the cigarette that you put off on her from the floor. While you smoked, you watched her attentively with a stern expression. You despised her in this moment, but her body and essence still enticed you. You signaled her to get on her back, and you sat on top of her, straddling her hips while facing away. You wasted no time and began kissing up her thighs.
You were not surprised to see that your being a bitch to her did nothing but arouse her. You gave her what she didn't deserve:pleasure.
After some time put to good use, Sev was about to finish. You wanted her to remember this moment, so when you felt she was on the edge, you stuck your finger into her freshly burnt stump. Sevika's moans of pleasure and pain could be heard from a mile away.
A wave of anger hit Sevika and she tried to get you off of her. She didn't manage it, so she resorted to parting your thighs more with her strong, calloused hands and spitting on your hole. She watched the spit drip from your pussy and land on her abdomen.
"Told you, we built this tomb, and I will not be filling it alone."*I joke as I get off her and lick the spit off her abs*

Isaiah smiled softly at Violet’s playful teasing. He knew her better than most, and it wasn’t lost on him how much she carried with her—the weight of loss, the need to keep moving, the way she masked her vulnerability with humor. She was tough, but beneath that tough exterior, he knew there was a tenderness that only those closest to her ever got to see. "Don't think I haven't noticed how much you hold it together, Violet," Isaiah said with a hint of admiration in his voice. He raised an eyebrow when she asked about him and Leo, knowing exactly where this was going. "Oh, we’ve done it in every room, alright," he teased back, his tone light, matching her playfulness. "But you already know that. Leo and I are... resourceful," he added, his grin widening. As she shifted the conversation to more serious matters, Isaiah’s expression softened. He was used to seeing her juggle everything in her life, the mix of grief and love, the way she poured her heart into everyone around her. It had always struck him how deeply she loved, and how much she cared about making sure others felt supported—even when she was struggling herself. “I’m glad you’re going to talk to Reign,” he said with a small nod. “It’s not easy, but it’ll make things clearer. You deserve to be able to just be—without all the secrets, or feeling like you have to hide. You know he’ll understand." He paused, eyes meeting hers with that same quiet understanding he always gave her. Isaiah’s gaze lingered on her as she asked about Leo, and his smile faded just a little, replaced with something more earnest. He’d been through hell, but Isaiah had always believed in Leo’s strength. "He’s doing better. Slowly, but better. There’s a lot to rebuild, you know? But with the talk of our future , and with me by his side, we’ll get there." He paused, then added, “You’re right, Violet. He’s lucky to have me. And I’m damn lucky to have him.” When she shifted the topic back to making soup, Isaiah’s mood lightened again. Cooking was one of those small joys he shared with her, a way to reset after the heavy conversations. He grabbed the apron she handed him and slid it over his head with a grin. “Healthy and fun, huh? Alright, I’m on it,” he said, already reaching for the knife to start dicing the chicken. “Let’s make it a soup even Ayiden would approve of.” As he chopped, Isaiah stole a glance at her, feeling grateful for their easy companionship. As they worked in comfortable silence, the rhythm of chopping and stirring filling the space, Isaiah glanced up with a thoughtful look. "You ever think about how much life has changed, Violet?" he asked, his tone quieter now, more reflective. "We’re not who we were a few years ago, are we?"
violet felt like she lost a piece of herself when ayiden, her brother, died. he was the one who truly understood her, the glue that held their family together. now, everything felt scattered. she only saw her parents a few times a year—they were okay, but things would never be the same. they hadn’t been thrilled when she named her son after ayiden, but when he was born, she couldn’t help herself. it felt right, like her brother had sent him as a gift when she was at her lowest. she’d promised herself she’d be there for her son in a way she hadn’t been able to for her brother, even though his death wasn’t her fault. “i won’t make out in the kitchen, at least not while we’re cooking, i can promise you that,” she said with a smirk, shaking her head. what was the point of pretending it wouldn’t happen when she knew it probably would? she wasn’t going to say no to reign. “but don’t act all innocent—are you really going to tell me that you and leo, the most hyper couple i know, haven’t done it in every single room in your place?” she raised an eyebrow at isaiah. “admit it—you have,” she teased, her grin playful. she leaned against the counter, looking at her best friend. he was right, as usual. maybe she should talk to reign about telling the kids. maybe it would make everything feel more natural and less like sneaking around. “you’re so wise, isaiah king,” she said with a small smile. “i’ll talk to reign, and then we’ll tell them. you’re right. it’s time.” she felt a little lighter having shared that with him—he always had a way of making her feel less lost. “yeah, i definitely don’t want ayiden catching us sneaking around. i don’t want to scar him for life,” she laughed, shaking her head. “and don’t get all emotional on me right now, or i’ll cry,” she warned him with a playful look. she was so ready to see isaiah and leo’s kids. ready to be the aunt who spoiled them, loved them fiercely, and made sure they always felt supported. she’d give their kids the same unconditional love they gave her ayiden, and the thought of that warmed her heart. “i’m glad leo’s back. is he really better?” she asked softly, her voice full of genuine care. she adored leo—he’d been through so much, and all she wanted was for good things to come his way. he was lucky to have isaiah, just as isaiah was lucky to have him. “amazing,” she said with a bright smile. “ayiden said he wanted soup, so let’s make soup and…” she paused, glancing around the kitchen. slipping on an apron, she handed one to isaiah. “maybe chicken or something? the soup’s easier, so you want to dice some chicken?” she asked, heading to the fridge to grab the meat. “we’re going for healthy but fun.”

I was gone, but I'm back again! Now with the last girl in my Madoka Goddess AU - Madoka Kaname.
Other girls:
Kyoko Sakura
Sayaka Miki
Mami Tomoe
Homura Akemi
Spoilers below~ (aka my rant about design and character)
I had a real problem with Madoka, because of few things. She already became a Goddess and had a new design and I couldn't think of her title for my series.
She already is a Goddess, I could take her outfit from the end of the anime, but 1. Where is the fun in this? and 2. It doesn't really... suit her. I mean, I understand the white and more mature look of her clothes, she now has a really difficult role with lots of responsibilities. But. It doesn't really feel like her. All of them had their costumes based on their own ideas and wants. All my designs before were based on their oryginal clothes as Magical Girls, so why I should do differently for Madoka? I still took some element of her ultimate form, but you can still look at it and say it is her. What she would wanted to wear. Still cute and pink, but suited to her role.
Madoka is naive, childish, but also so very optimistic and kind. I had problem to look for a patronage that would suit her. The one that she was in anime were weird for me. Mercy, redemption, and death. They gave her everything. And I guess, mercy suit her, but it doesn't suit my concept of Goddesses. But I finally realized that she always sacrificed her wish for others. That in every timeline we were shown, she became a Magical Girl not for herself but for others. To save friends or cat or people she doesn't even know. It is kinda stupid of her, I am sure there were more timelines where she irracionaly used her wish, where others wouldn't have. But it is so her. She always sees the best in others, never in herself. So it is only natural she would become a Goddess of Sacrifices.

Yknow I was also thinking... if Neuvi were to ask Furina to become immortal again for his sake, she might actually say yes. Which is exactly WHY he'd never ask her to do so, because as much as he dreads her inevitable absence, he won't condemn her to that fate again
You got it. Because when she took on that curse half a millennium ago, it was also a request she agreed to. For the sake of all of Fontaine and not just the sake of Focalors, but it's still all too similar. Even if she said yes to him because she actually wants it then, who's to say she'll always want it? Who's to say the decades, the centuries won't weigh heavier and heavier as they pass, just like before? Who's to say she won't have to ask him to make her mortal again? And that would be even more painful than simply letting her go when she's meant to. So instead he'll treasure the time she has, that she's more than earned, and he'll do everything he can for her to treasure it too.
#anon#ask#answer#genshin#genshin spoilers#neuvifuri#i don't actually like character death much it bums me out#that said i dislike stuff that's out of character even more#so i'm glad we're in agreement#sometimes living forever ever after isn't the happy ending#sometimes turning the last page of the story and closing the book is the best thing there can be#and you can put the book back on the shelf and keep the happy memories of its story close to your heart#it's like zhongli says#someday furina will be long gone and so will everyone who knew her#but as long as neuvillette remains then so will his memory of her#he'll remember her as she was - free and with her fate in her own hands at last#the history books will remember the lead actress who gave her everything for fontaine#neuvillette will remember her as she was after she left her grandest stage and became just furina#getting sentimental in the tags? on MY blog? it's more likely than you think

AWH... I'm skipping through Roier's QSMP Day 1 VOD because I'm looking for a specific thing, and I just noticed that when Jaiden stands in front of the group to do her introduction and her mic isn't working, Mariana laughs (not in a mean way, I laughed too) and Roier immediately smacks him and tells him off for laughing.
[Timestamp ~36m 50s, volume warning for Quackity's awful mic]
It's such a little thing, but I think it's really sweet in retrospect, especially considering how Roier and Jaiden have become such good friends in recent weeks :')
#i talk#qsmp talk#legitimately though I frickin adore Roier and Jaiden's friendship IT'S SO SWEET THEY'RE SUCH GOOD FRIENDS...#Jaiden was so nervous the first few days of QSMP and she talked about how she was too anxious to talk to people she didn't know#So this Egg event really helped her (and a lot of other people too)#It gave everyone a chance to make friends / bonds with people they might not have interacted with as much otherwise#it's just really sweet#I've got a special place in my heart for Jaiden I like her a lot#I used to watch her animations a bunch because my little cousin loves her#then I just kinda stopped because I don't watch Youtube creators much and my memory is awful#But QSMP made me start watching her again#and I found out all the stuff she's had to go through and I watched her videos where she talks about more serious stuff / her personal life#and like not to sound parasocial or whatever but my ''protective parental instinct'' went nuts after hearing all that#she's been through the wringer but it seems like she's doing a lot better#she's really funny and cool#but social anxiety is still a nightmare#I'm really glad she got Roier as her Egg partner -- he's so friendly and nice I think it really helped her relax a lot#and she's actually learning more Spanish despite saying she had 0 Spanish knowledge whatsoever when joining the server!!!#Idk man I'm just really proud of everything everyone's been doing on the server#and I'm really proud of Quackity for bringing people together like this. It's amazing#I love him so much and I'm so grateful this server exists.#First and Best Multilingual server baby!!!#Anyways I forgot how bad Quackity's mic sucked from literally everyone else's perspectives on Day 1 LMFAO#Roier specifically says ''Don't laugh!'' and ''Give [her] a pass!'' (for the mute issue)#alright I added a clip I can't not put a clip for this
