#fun fact! this was gonna be a magical girl squiddo #but then i got really caught up in the whole “dirty scruffy vigilante with lots of explosives who annoys all the fancy hero people”#aesthetic. but i also have some stuff #like the bows and the wing cloak that read as magical girl #and im gonna use pastel colors and cheerful colors to make it seem like she WAS initially #a really traditional happy-go-lucky magical girl who over time had to do things her own way instead of just flashy magical blasts #and so she started making bombs and became more of an underground hero of the people who don’t have a voice #but she still has that bright optimistic magical girl outlook where she knows that the *magic of Friendship* actually has power #and she’s not optimistic in spite of a darker setting #she’s optimistic *because* of it. she’s a magical girl of the alleys and the dirty towns and the messy fights #in short she’s a magical girl who’s more hands-on #more optimistic in a realistic way #like a person who might dress up as a magical girl to save the day but doesn’t have magical powers but saves the day anyway #and she HAS magical powers #mind you #but they’re chaotic and messy and she can’t control them for the sort of picture-perfect showiness of most superhero’s powers #so she learns to use them to AID her fighting #not the sole weapon she uses #and as a result she’d be much stronger than most if her powers were blocked #because she knows how to fight on her own merits too #tl;dr squiddo is a magical girl who will beat you up with no hesitation and also has bombs. lots of bombs.#squiddo #daily squiddo #the real squiddo #mcyt #uhhh #superhero au #magical girl au #????

lately ive been thinking about the contrast going on in Early Lime where hes like "tbh im pretty sure i could have any girl i wanted including mochi i mean i guess if she wanted we could give it a shot one day but i dont really care lol" and then very easily becoming completely unhinged for her the second he gets a tinge of romantic affection

oc tober day 15: music. this is my oc saida, created over 3 years ago now as part of my attempt to make some realistic teenage characters. she's part of a band with her friends, and is the only one with actual knowledge of music theory (mostly from youtube videos). she writes all their songs and hopes to go to music college someday as partially inspired by her older brother-- can be kind of stubborn and insecure, but overall she is very passionate and sincere. in the actual story everyone gets like attacked by copies of themselves from other dimensions because of an angelic being that fell down to earth and became their keyboardist. but other than that everything was pretty grounded if you ask me

Over the centuries, there have been several efforts to break The Barrier and rekindle relations with monsterkind. However, all reconnaissance missions have ended in failure, with every group having never returned from the mountain, regardless of their strength or size. Eventually, these efforts were given up, with most believing monsters to be long dead and that the expeditions were ultimately pointless.

The unknown fate of the various reconnaissance groups has led to many conspiracies and urban legends, with some saying that monsters still do reside in the mountain and had killed them all off, while others cite some other mysterious phenomenon as the cause. But there is one thing they all agree on:

Those who climb the mountain never return.

imagine this. a random talking pigeon shows up one day and forces you to be a magical girl. you try to refuse but then all the other magical girls this pigeon gathered would Judge you and you can’t have that, so you become a magical girl. great. this pigeon keeps talking to you and it’s ruining your Totally Normal Cool Class President vibe to have you glaring at a random bird. you take your magical companion who grants you powers to the humane society and leave him there.

he gets more annoying. you take him to the humane society again. this cycle repeats.

being a magical girl is really cutting into your Definitely Normal And Well Adjusted image. you take the pigeon to the humane society again.

it turns out that he has shifted into the form of a passenger pigeon, a long extinct bird. ‘for the bit,’ he says. you are lauded for your scientific discovery and get far more attention than you’ve ever wanted. the pigeon tells you to stop fucking around or he will go back to being a normal pigeon and the broader scientific community will destroy you for being a fraud.

this is worse than the magical girl thing. your fellow magical girls still think this pigeon is fun and chill.

you get a b on your next calculus test because you’ve been engaging in psychological warfare with a pigeon.

been making concepts for magical girl adukin au.. i am forming a semi-consistent plot & having fun.. i might draw some other characters in magical girl outfits even if ive sort of laid out what the "canon" magical girls are for the au, but idk who i would draw.. maybe fusakin and syumitaro because well. ones a balloon with a human body and the other is God

#ekurambles #i really like this au if i am being honest even if it is just for funsies.. been working on it inbetween doodles and requests #i have a lot of things jotted down on how adukin even like.. became a magical girl in the first place #& i definitely think it could tie into her feelings in the maingame after the events of mo3 #with her feeling like she wasnt as good of a person as jack is but instead of getting manipulated by mdcr #she sacrifices her own selfworth to act more like a hero and force herself to be someone she isnt (“magical girl adu”)#rather than accept who she is and not try to live as a cheap copy of someone who already loves & cares abt her *for* who she is.#taking on a much more dangerous nightlife as a magical girl just to feel like she can amount to any of what jack has done #& that'd probably also lead into jack and his magical boy form where he just wants to help protect her even though adukin hates that idea #she knows she can protect herself and she knows jack isnt trying to say that shes weak (he thinks shes really fucking strong)#but she cant accept his help without accepting herself first otherwise shes just going to keep comparing herself to someone-#-who already thinks shes perfect as the foulmouthed yet kind numa that she is #+ the whole thing with bachikin being the villain shes trying to defeat even if she doesnt know that #because like. she loves bachikin. it is an adubachi-based au afterall #bachikin is only doing these things to create what she thinks is a perfect world #where it's just her and adukin and nobody can judge them or keep them apart #shes been an awful person in the past and she doesnt know how to handle these emotions shes feeling #so she thinks that she has to deal with it the same way that she's dealt with all of her problems in the past #taking what she wants (adukin) and not letting anyone else near her #and bachikin is completely unaware that adukin is the one trying to stop her from doing this #probably in part because she doesnt want to believe that adukin wouldnt also want to live in that idealized world shes created for them-#-in her mind.#...Ok i gotta shut the fuck up this is way too long.

Just finished the show a few days ago, so that's why I'm only just posting this now.

#also yes PB is problimatic but so are a lot of the other characters & i don't care #lady reinacorn would probably be higher in her category if i understood what she was saying but unfortunately i don't #tier list #adventure time #adventure time tier list #magic man is where he is because he became normal man otherwise he'd be in the last category #cinnamon bun is only where he is due to his character growth in the flame kingdom before that he would have been in the meh category #lsp is where she is coz i actually find her funny #hope tier 3 lemongrab is meant to be the 3rd version because I like him the best out of all the lemongrabs #sweet pea wasn't on there but i would probably put him before or after fern #root beer guy is only where he is because I like what they did with him when he got resurrected #speaking of which cherry sods should be on here to & if she was I'd probably place her before him #as her reaction to his death & resurrection was super interesting #just realised that starchy isn't on here either i think I'd place him before mr pig #on reflection I'd put the cosmic owl in the 3rd category after prismo #i haven't watched distant lands or fiona & cake yet so please no spoilers #tiffany is where he is because i find him funny even though he is always hating on my boy finn #upon reflection I actually find amo quite interesting (still annoying though)#with his desperate need to be loved without the ability to give it in return #& how no amount of affection would probably ever have been enough #like talk about depressing #on second thought i'd actually put Grob/Gob/Glob Grod in the cool powers but lack of personality category #ash actually belongs in the worst category coz how he gonna do my girl marcy like that #& Jake's alien dad should actually be in the crazy threat category #coz he straight up travels to different dimensions to make kids so he can drain them of their powers & then leave them to die #& wanted to do the same to his grandkids like that's some next level evil #recardio should really have is own category as while he is kind of threat (he did kidnap finn & jake & beat up lady that one time)#his just not scary like people in the crazy threat category are (more just creepy/weird/gross & annoying)
