I have nothing against Sasuke, but even his biggest simp cant deny how funny it was when Sakura was watching his fight with Lee like "Sasuke will be able to use his sharingon to see through this guys jutsu. He's such a genius there is no possible way he can lose" and then it immediately cut to Lee kicking Sasuke in the face. My man deserves to win just for that. Thought of something funny/ironic but...what if another reason it takes so long to find Kakashi in amnesia verse...is because Kakashi is not wearing a mask?

Like he may lose his hair at first because when he hits his head, the villagers who save him have to shave his hair to get to the wound. And then later he grows it out differently.

So he grows out a new style that makes his bangs naturally always cover the sharingon, or at the very least he only uses a small eyepatch to hide it under his hair. He started doing that when he realizes how physically draining this "bad case of pink eye" is (because he forgot what a sharingon is.), but realized just covering it up made him feel better And because the villagers were also checking his face during a medical inspection, they remove his mask and never gave it back. So he gets used to living without one because he forgot he wore it to begin with.

So doesn't hide his face...changes his hair cut, and is in a complete change of clothes... and all these changes may actually make Gai miss Kakashi the first time too. Because Gai has facial blindness (maybe) and can literally not recognize Kakashi without his distinguishing mask (and let's be fair, most of the ninja world recognizes Kakashi through his mask. It's hilariously ironic.)

What I'm saying...is that there's this mysterious, amnesiac with short ehite hair and the sexiest face anyone has ever seen- like one glance and your swooning... and Gai swears he has a familiar vibe the first time he sees him, but the farmer swears he never sae Gai before in his life.

Ok here’s an idea for you, a potential AU.

Sasuke is a clan kid and a Uchiha on top of that. He was breed for blood and ash and steel. The Uchiha are a war clan and they have the Sharingon to boot. They have quirks.

Sasuke is one of The Last Uchiha for all that the village tries to forget Itachi. He is a Uchiha of the main branch. He’s not the strongest Uchiha of this generation (no, that was Itachi. Who like the ancestors before him, found His Person. The one they love with all their being. Who they scoop out all that they are to make room under their ribs and wrap their Person around their heart for. Who they hollow their bones for and then fill with their Person essence.) but he is close behind him.

Sasuke, while not having his Sharingon, always seems to know. Not the future, but what makes a person. Who they are and who they will be. Theres no one to share his half remember/half found tidbits of knowledge with but it doesn’t change the fact that he knows more than he should .

That Naruto could be his Person and that his chakra is alway swirling and warm and have the musk of a fox. That Sakura is minty green and Sake scented. That the masked Shinobi at the memorial stone should be feral with out his pack.

That at 4, Sasuke called his brother Foolish. Actually what he said was “Foolish brother, I will always love you. Even when there is no next time and I have your eyes.”

That at 4, he knew that he was to be left hurt and alone. That the village will always seek to control and cage him. That for that Naruto could be. He will never be Itachi. That This Sasuke is in tune with Nature Chakra and just knows that down this road there will be a bond so very strong but so very caging. For that Naruto is now, he will be a Hokage at the end of the day. (I’m making Naruto the Boruto Naruto)

That if he burns down the compound when Itachi leaves him. That he when leave the village by himself at age 12. That he wields the chokuto without Kakashi assigning someone to teach him. (Kakashi likes them but they will never be his Cubs or Pack. He been alone to long to know how to form complete bonds with them. Something Sakumo never got around to teach him) That he could change things that all other Sasuke’s never got the chance to.

Sorry if this doesn’t make any sense. Just trying to get this idea out of my head. Sasuke knows things. A gut feeling and half remember echos of memories. Words that make no sense until years down the line. This Sasuke is in tune with universe. He could love Naruto and the rest of team 7. Knows what they could be but he an Uchiha and he’s been hearing branch’s of time that hurt since he could understand what it’s saying. He is Itachi Person and he returns everything projected on him with a desperate, clingy kind of love. Knows that they will be separate and forms a bond with His person.
