Prefacing this by saying i love krusie, but:

Every time somebody breaks up suselle for krusie instead of polyshipping an angel dies

Every time somebody makes art of noelle being visibly upset and distressed by krusie happening an angel dies

Like do you really need to break up the adorable canon ship to make your best friends to lovers ship work. Do you really need the transbian out of the way that bad.

The hallway scene in chapter 2 makes it fairly clear noelle is actually pretty chill with susie and kris hanging out. She doesnt seem mad if only a little bit flustered.

She asks susie to come do work with her and corrects herself to add kris, clearly respecting and supporting the two as friends.

Meanwhile later in the game a similar scene plays out and she starts shaking berdly at him merely mentioning a crush on susie. Like you can reason she did nothing to kris in this scene because they arent explicitly saying they have a crush on susie and its infront of susie but still even despite this she never brings this up to them again and even has them as a sort of wingthem for alot of the chapter. All this to say noelle is at least tolerant of kris and susie being a thing and heavily implied to be open to being in a polycule.

This is to say even if you do wanna break up suselle for krusie, which sucks, at least portray her accurately. Dont make her pissed off. Whenever i see art of kris and susie kissing with noelle in the background fuming i just. It makes me mad.

Alot of you just need to know polyamory exists and see that it fits perfectly here. Krusielle is litterally so much better and in character then breaking up suselle for krusie.

I see people justify it with "oh but noelle is obsessive / toxic" which she isnt and also "but suselle makes me uncomfortable" which is like. Ok who am i to invalidate your feelings but. How does that even happen.

Krusie is a valid and awesome ship, i love kris and susies dynamic i really do, but if you need to break up suselle to do it then you need to reanalyse the game.

Plus as said krusielle is the best ship in any media ever so :P

okay but can we PLEASE allow crowley to have emotions? can we let him be angry, upset, bitter, frustrated, and NOT immediately want to forgive aziraphale? can we let him be a complex being with complex emotions and trauma who is allowed to be heartbroken over aziraphale choosing heaven instead of him?

yes, they love each other. yes, they both hurt each other in that final argument. yes, neither of them is completely wrong or right.

for six thousand years, crowley has done *everything* to accommodate aziraphale. he has swallowed his emotions, crossed his own boundaries, tried again and again to get aziraphale to listen to him so he can finally make him understand how the fall changed him and how deeply fucked up the entire heaven/hell system is. it is why i cannot see the apology dance seen as "cute" or "romantic" because it's crowley once again ignoring his emotions to save aziraphale from heaven and himself; he did NOTHING wrong! aziraphale should be the one apologizing, not crowley.

and while yes, aziraphale has been on his own journey and is struggling with his own trauma, he needs to start putting crowley before his personal comfort. he needs to stop expecting crowley to throw his feelings in the wind and come crawling back to him with an apology on his lips.

the final argument was crowley saying he's DONE doing that. he's done meeting aziraphale on his side, either they'll meet in the middle or not at all - and rightfully so. aziraphale hasn't been listening to him this season, he never has.

do you really think if crowley had given him the details of the trial in heaven, gabriel's trial, anything at all that aziraphale would have believed him? no! he wouldn't have! his entire schtick is finding increasingly insane explanations for the shit heaven pulls so it doesn't contradict his personal view of it.

their relationship has never been healthy, unconditional love is NOT healthy or good. it's simply not. crowley is allowed to have hard boundaries and conditions, he's allowed to not forgive him immediately (or at all, although we all know he eventually will). aziraphale is ALSO allowed to be upset. i know that we all want them to be together and happy, but trauma recovery and personal growth aren't that simple. they're both more than the relationship they have with each other.

Self hate? Its the main root of his motivation, Jekyll become his own anatgonist, because he always was

If you have to say who is tgs main villain, the enemy our lovely Dr Jekyll has to fight to save the day... you would say its Hyde

Dr Monroe only appear once and had nothing to do with jekyll nor Hyde, Frankestein was a temporary antagonist but it only stop because Jekyll stop treating her as such and also she already had her redemption arc, the opposition of the conservatives in tgs never mattered because they dont have the power to destroy society, they are not a real threat

On the other hand, Hyde is a threat for the society, he has the power to destroy it if he wanted to, but for the simple fact that he is also Jekyll

Henry Jekyll its the hero as the villain in his own story

Hyde, if we take him as a seperate character, he is just the main antagonist but not the ultimate bad guy of the story. You normally get rid of them by destroying them or redeem them

But despite claming Hyde as his dark side we never see Jekyll actually trying to destroy him, or even heard a mentioned that he tried in the past. Sure, he took the formula, but he didnt got rid of Hyde and just kept him there existing inside his brain, barely resisting him and let Hyde do whatever he pleased as he adopted this ¨Hopless Prince behavior¨ that actually, Jasper called out in Chapter 11

We dont know why yet, maybe he didnt want to do something risky back then but at this point Hyde never really meant to destroy Jekyll himself nor the society, until Chapter 12, when he is about to sacrifice thier lifestyle just to feel in control over him again, because he felt atrap and literally fading away

He never wanted to destroy the society because he hates it or the logders, he was a threat because he was after Henry, and Jekyll is angry cause despite how many times he tried to explain Hyde that the society well-being depends completely on him, he just dosent care and keeps going until he shall set free

Im not saying that Hyde is not responsable for his actions, but in the end, he is also a part of Jekyll

One way or another it always ends in Henry, and he knows that very well

"Give in to my dark side" it not only means jekilling himself out this world and let Hyde have all the control, but also means reconogzing himself as evil too

I think that at this point, Henry dosen´t see himself as good and evil anymore, but just evil, In Henry´s perspective there is a very strong black and white mindset;

¨I just wanted to be good¨ Jekyll always feared being bad, and saw himself as evil. He tried to be good, but instead he made things worse. So to make things better, he shall embrace his dark side

Today´s page its not only Jekyll being suicidal but also being suicidal as he is aware that he is doing it for evilness, as letting his hate for Hyde wins over his love for Laynon and the society, just to have the satisfaction of seeing Hyde suffer

Remenber, Jekyll rather considers Hyde as another being, so techinically he has the desire to see someone else suffer....

He didn´t say; ¨It will be worth it because they´ll be better without me¨ or ¨It will be worth it because you´ll get what you deserve¨

He said; "It will be worth it to see you suffer¨

Its obvious that he was refering to Hyde, but what if this also applys to Laynon and the logders too?

This desire hides under a fake nobel action with the feeling of ¨this is for a greater good" something that he is aware of

It might be not all fake, he thinks he is doing this sacrifice for a greater good, but also aware that, at least, he´ll has Hyde desesperation as comfort (And he recognizes the action of finding comfort in someone else´s agony as evil)

Its like Jekyll seeing himself as pure evil but still wanting to make things right once for all. You can see it in his eyes, he dosent want this to happend but cant see another solution or a thing that changes his perspective

Inside Jekyll´s pespective, all his self is evil, so he is getting ride of himself entirely to solve the problem, as letting himself had a little plasure in seeing Hyde suffering and finally be stop. A hero´s sacrifice to finally bring peace and justice to those who loves

What in reality, its just a poor man atraped in a delusion where he is only hurting himself until death.

Genuinely about to block the fallout tag and move on with my life cuz the last week has been absolutely insane. SCRIPTURE:

OBSERVATION:

Jacob and Esau had just reunited after 20 years of being apart

Their last interaction was after Jacob deceived Esau into giving him his birth right and his blessing

Esau came to him with an army of 400 men, but then embraced him, and they wept and cried and forgave each other (aww!)

Esau invites him to go with him to Seir, but Jacob denies it because of the large amount of flocks and people he was bringing, insisting that they go on their own pace following Esau.

buttttt Jacob decieves him AGAIN and goes to Sukkoth, and arrives at shechem.

(note: Jacob and Esau probably met again and reconciled because they bury their father together. See Genesis 35:29 ("And Isaac breathed his last, and he died and was gathered to his people, old and full of days. And his sons Esau and Jacob buried him") but we aren't gonna focus on that today)

APPLICATION::

Many people call themselves Christian, right? I mean, there are 2.4 billion of us. Maybe you're a Christian who's reading this right now. But let me ask you, are you really a Christian?

Yes, many people call themselves Christian, but they are still actively and willingly sinning. They still hold grudges, they're still unforgiving, selfish, lustful, entitled, worldly, they're still living in sin. Of course, there's a difference between falling into sin and willfully sinning when they already know its a sin. It's good if you don't want to sin and actively try not to, and especially if you're just starting out, you will fall back in. The problem is if you already know its a sin, but you're ACTIVELY and WILLINGLY going back to the sin without guilt.

The Bible already says things against holding grudges, hating others, being entitled, being sexually immoral, idolatry, homosexuality AND homophobia because that is still hating others and is bad, and judging and shaming others. Then, why are we still actively and willingly doing these things, even though there are already many words against them? Were we not called to love and serve others and put them and God before ourselves? Were we not called to be made new through Christ?

Look at Jacob and Esau, they've already forgiven each other, yet Jacob repeats his sin against Esau and he fools him again, and chooses what he thinks is better for him and his family, but eventually, he and his family suffers there as seen in Chapter 34, where his daughter was violated and his sons kill the entire village of Shechem as an act of revenge.

Now if we apply Jacob and Esau's relationship to our relationship with God, we can see that we, like Jacob, sometimes even after we ask for forgiveness from God, we still go and willingly (again, emphasis on WILLINGLY.) go back and sin. Yes, God loves us and will always love us forgive us when we sincerely ask for forgiveness, but we have to remember that God also loves everyone else God knows when we are exploiting his grace. He's literally God, do NOT think you can fool him.

To fully make room in our hearts to love Jesus, we need to let go of the sins and idols that will weigh us down and fully submit to Him. The lust, the greed, the hatred, the gluttony, the pride, all of it. They are called sins and idols for a reason, because:

They will only weigh us down and make us worse

They will have nothing good stored for us

Though it may feel good for a little while, they will only make feel and be worse in the long run

They actively distract us from the things that are actually good and actually important.

They hurt us and they hurt other people

So, is it really worth the momentary the pleasure? The feeling? No. No its not.

Jesus loves us. He loves us so much He literally died for all of us, and when He was on the Cross, He had YOU in mind. He died to save YOU, and his grace, love, and freedom is always there and always available. We just have to accept it, and to accept it, we have to let that love fill us to the brim, and to do that, we have to let go of the things weighing us down.

Yes, it is possible to let it go. The drugs, the sex, the money, the fame the validation from others that you crave, the idols, that one fictional character that you've devoted your entire life to thats ruining your relationship with others and your own psyche (trust me i've been there) the depression, the anxiety, the homosexuality, the anger, the hatred, you can let go of it. In fact, I was a severe p0rn addict since I was 8 years old, I swore, I hated others, I was entitled, I was literally an EVERYTHINGphile, and I have no joke nearly committed several crimes. And Jesus still saved me, and though it has been a pure struggle every day, i have gotten over my addictions, my hatred, and pride, and now I am better, though I still have much to improve on. Only Jesus can help you do that. Jesus can and will help you and pull you out of the pit of sin, all we have to do is to let Him pull us out instead of staying in. He will wash us clean, and He will forget our mistakes and love us regardless.

Now let me ask you, what's weighing YOU down?

PRAYER:

Dear Jesus,

Thank You Lord, because I am made anew through You! You have saved me and helped me be better O Lord. I praise You, I glorify You, and I honor you for all that you have done for me. Lord, I know that I have fallen short time and time again. I have failed, I have fallen I have sinned, and I confess that I am imperfect and that I need you now. I ask you O Lord to help me and to save me from the pit of sin and death, from my addictions and my idols that seek to be against me. Help me let them go, and to accept the fact that You love me, You care for me, and You forgive me, and that Your way will always be better than my way. Help me be better O Lord.

I ask for your wisdom and Holy Spirit to guide me so that I may do the right thing for you and for others instead of for fleeting yet hurtful pleasure. And as I continue to go on (or start!) my journey with you, help me to stay on the straight path that leads to heaven, and though it won't be easy, it'll be worth it all the way.

Thank You Lord! Truly I say, You are above all, You can do all things, and You are amazing! I love You! :D In Jesus Name, I pray, Amen.
