hugs weren’t something the seven lords did often. they weren’t part of public appearances, and it’s something that proved difficult for them. even if it came naturally, that didn't mean anybody wanted to hug them.

but, hugs were something you had him doing much more often. whenever you were overjoyed, you’d throw your arms around him. when you were upset, you’d lean into him, arms open. even when there was no occasion, you’d hug him. hugs became synonymous with you.

it didn’t take him long to learn how much you loved them. so, whenever you were in a state, he’d reach for you. if you were stressed about family, anxious over a test, overwhelmed in a crowd, or even just in need of that enveloping comfort. you didn't need to do anything. maybe it was the pact, or maybe it was just how well he knew you, but he always had perfect timing.

breathing in his comforting smell and feeling the gentle warmth never failed to help you regain your strength. listening to his heartbeat, and letting your head rise and fall while rested on his chest was something only you were allowed to do. however long you needed him, even if it was all day, he'd be there.
