The morning forest after a heavy downpour the night before, fire wood crackling in the distance, rough around the edges but mellows down the longer you let it lingers — Logan Howlett reminds me of Feuilles de Tabac by Miller Harris. The smell of pine and spice is unmistakable at the first whiff, with the smokiness of tobacco slipping out as the fresh leafiness dulled out. The sexy stranger who saw you lost on your trail and, albeit a bit condescendingly, point you your way while putting off a cig by throwing it to the damp muddy ground and stepping on it.
