I guess I'm not the right person to study science. I messed up, obviously. However, I realised something; if I had put in some more effort, I would have aced the exam. Well, let's see how my parents and teachers will react. I am on the verge of failing because I'm so stupid. Sorry to everyone who decided to follow this blog, but I'm not the best person on Studyblr. 😭

Matthew Goode 2024 Review

Make yourself a cuppa ☕️, it's long (3m20) 😆

It was a slow year (with Matthew deservedly having a break in the latter part of the year) but we got some brilliant gems : a surprise cameo appearance as vampire Kristof Lazar in Abigail (Matthew blew everyone away as the reviews testify!), a gorgeous Hackett SS24 ad with Matthew looking beautiful in the streets of Seville, and Freud's Last Session making its way into the world, with more stellar reviews and new unseen BTS.

At the beginning of the year, we got the exciting news that Matthew would be the lead as Carl Morck in Netflix crime thriller Department Q, created and directed by Scott Frank (The Lookout) and with a brilliant cast and production & creative team (The Queen's Gambit, The Crown). This screams quality! We then got glimpses of Matthew filming in the streets and on the beaches of Edinburgh looking beardy and gorgeous. Department Q will be streaming globally on Netflix (my guess is Q2 25 release, tbc).

We can also look forward to hearing Matthew voicing stressed out dad Rabbit Walter in full-length animation Spiked! (possibly March 25 release, tbc).

And hopefully we will get some news about future projects soon 🍀🍀🍀. One thing is sure, Matthew will surprise us, he always does (I am still dining on the Abigail bombshell lol).

i've been inconsistent on tumblr regarding posting content. last time i posted was before 18th june for the exam. then i ghosted tumblr. well, i started to do extensive skin care and self care, and started to invest more time in my career and earning money through private tuitions, hence rarely got time to post anything. the exam went extremely well and then it got cancelled because i live in 'that' country where everything has been associated with multiple scamming projects for the corporates. the re-examination is on august and idc, i'd give the exam out of spite and get the fuck out of this country.

here's however, a glimpse of my work on a book review. this is where i work, on bed, with huge back pain and posture defect, with minimal food and bad lighting and endless distractions [from books around, also i'm neurodivergent] i've been immersed in coffee, red tea and cigarettes for the past 3 days and still 200 pages back. today is the deadline! and i'll be finishing off this fucking work like my life depends on it [it does, i'm getting paid]. back to work. Xby.

💌: Storytime; I got bullied

My mom cooked a lot of tasty food for me, but sadly, my sister couldn't eat much of it as she is still very sick. There was no improvement in her health, so she went to the hospital once again. Also, I faced bullying today. Yup, I know that I'm not the most attractive person, but today, some girls said that I look so fat that someone can mistake me as pregnant (why? I don't think anyone would). I weigh about 55 kg. Also, since it's cold, my cheeks turn red in the cold, so they said I must have been a monkey in a past life; that's why I'm so red in winter (my skin is red all the time lol, in the sun, in the cold, when I'm embarrassed, etc.). And then the whole class was laughing. I don't get why it is a thing to laugh about. I hope people can be a little nice. I'm not that affected, but subconsciously, I'm going to ponder about it.
