First post on this blog and it's the comic, I basically, made it for! Comic to an old Powerpuff girls AU I had in my head for awhile. Hehe (the title is still work in progress).

One of my biggest pet peeves is the justice league being labelled as " The Avengers of DC" and its like. No? The avengers are law enforcement. The Justice League are volunteers

actually no i need to talk about the green witch arc. ciel and his band of merry fools go to germany and learn that this forest is haunted by WEREWOLVES and in it is a village full of WITCHES with cursed amulets and potions and whatever

and the immediate vibe is "lol what a bunch of bogus" which is really just batshit coming from the kid with a demon butler

and then woah big reveal! it wasn't werewolves or witches it was a covert military operation REPLETE with radar tracking (not a thing until wwii) and electronic displays (most likely crt screens, which again weren't fully developed until the 1930s) and TANKS. for reference the first "tank" was put together by a guy in 1899 who mounted a machine gun to THIS

absolute paragon of engineering. the panzer (the exact model of tank in the arc) was not a thing until wwi.

and. and ciel and ESPECIALLY the Demon Butler in question are like. ohhhh yeah that makes more sense. the amulets were just transmitting our exact locations through technology that won't exist for another three decades. whew glad we sorted that one out. man wouldn't it have been CRAZY if it really was werewolves.

What are Cardan and Rayan's colors?

Cardan is red!! There's lots of psychology for that color relating to hate, love, and danger—to me it all boils down to passion. Cardan doesn't ever half-ass things; he does what he wants and he gets what he wants. I also think red just looks like a royal color.

Ryan's color is green. It has associations with balance, harmony, abundance, greed, and jealousy. While Ryan makes lots of bad decisions, he does think that these decisions are what's best for the kingdom, not for himself.

These are pretty recent decisions 😭 their colors used to be orange and purple but I changed it around because I wanted them to be complimentary colors since they're literary foils. Also, as princes, half of their jobs were cancelling out negative public opinions about the other.

A Game of Thrones, Bran III

It took to the air, flapping its wings in his face, slowing him, blinding him. He faltered in the air as its pinions beat against his cheeks.

Its beak stabbed at him fiercely, and Bran felt a sudden blinding pain in the middle of his forehead, between his eyes.

“What are you doing?” he shrieked.

The crow opened its beak and cawed at him, a shrill scream of fear, and the grey mists shuddered and swirled around him and ripped away like a veil.

And he saw that the crow was really a woman, a serving woman with long black hair, and he knew her from somewhere, from Winterfell, yes, that was it, he remembered her now, and then he realized that he was in Winterfell, in a bed high in some chilly tower room, and the black-haired woman dropped a basin of water to shatter on the floor and ran down the steps, shouting,

“He’s awake, he’s awake, he’s awake.”

Bran touched his forehead, between his eyes. The place where the crow had pecked him was still burning, but there was nothing there, no blood, no wound.

they are a counter guardian who become servant (like EMIYA)

she has nicknames such as 'divine vanguard', 'the hero conqueror', 'lionheart of the back lines' but they are all just dramatizations of their job LOL

stage 1 and 2 ascension

i aimed for a design for a lot of pockets as counter guardians offer a lot of support, so i can imagine they need to take a lot with them. as for the imagery of spikes, that has links to their death, as well as their inner issues (hence why the spikes are around their neck and ears). but the whole vibe is 'yoo why u trying to make a grungy survival outfit a sexy waifu outfit'

they have goggles cuz alaya sends counter guardians to war fronts worldwide, so they need that protection.

stage 1 is their early days of trying to be what a counter hero is expected to be (according to her)

stage 2 is when her ass keep on getting beat on the battlefield and experiencing hells so she stop giving a fuck about looking neat

final ascension

this outfit represents their last living day as a counter guardian. their jacket and top are ripped. their collar is high and hair messy. with each ascension their look becomes increasingly disheveled, showcasing their liberation but also rapid descent to their eventual death (the spikes and decreasing amount of clothes on her body are part of that symbolism). THEY ALSO HAVE NOT MANY POCKETS LEFT :(

this form could be spikier....but it's okay. this fa represents 'exposing one's true self'. no more needing to be presentable, especially not in the face of death.

from left to right is how their appearance changes with each ascension. as you can see her hair becomes increasingly messy and less combed back, they also become more smug seeing as all caution was thrown to the wind in their last moments.
