Meet Sergio (any) and Ana(she/xim)!!

They're both Canadian citizens, but Sergio is originally from Colombia.

Basically in this universe, our world is mapped over another plain of existence belonging to Others(working title). These Others live millions of years. They go through a juvenile phase, which occasionally flits through our reality, creating the phenomena of "Shadow People". Then an intermediary phase, which also glitches through our plane occasionally, but is rarely seen with the naked human eye. The third phase is more of semi-omniscient godlike state. They ascend through each phase by dying and shedding physical unnesseceries.

The older Others aren't really aware of humanity, having transcended the physical plane before humans evolved. The younger two states are mostly aware of humans, but usually don't like them.

Sergio can see the Other's plane, and appears to them in it. This is unfortunate for him. The elder Others frequently mistake him for a young Shadow Person and try to kill him so that he can ascend.

And it means he often interacts with the juveniles, and he's kind of a rowdy personality so he makes a lot of enemies.

Ana is sort of Sergio's Lesion to human life, his tether, if you will. They met after a terrible party and have been best friends ever since. They always walk on the roads together night because the sidewalks are usually not wheelchair-optimized.

Ana is very, very smart, and the most fashionable of grungy gamer girls. She has a lot of experience navigating the government and healthcare systems, and is usually handles the "Real world" plane stuff whenever they get themselves into trouble.

The state of my frogs parallels my very own to the point shame escapes me but here's Daniel. Name is a bit of a pun bc as you can see he kinda is missing a hand (not intended ofc but let's get creative) and a peronista (✌️) so naturally no other name fit him. Sergio opinions on the Phantom thieves:

Mona : He thinks hes cute because he looks like a cute cat and sergio likes cute things and cats. Thinks he is charming. Tries to treat him like any other person despite how adorabubble he is. He starts thinking of him as his big brother naturally later on, he really trusts him and tells him things he doesnt tell anyone else, asks him for advice on his problems and thoughts and yeah really values his opinions.

Ann: He figured she was a Loud girl at first without even talking to her, he doesnt have a neutral opinion on women in general tbh so bad start, but as soon as they became friends and he heard her talk about what happened and how angry and frustrated she was he was like.. woaghhhh. no way.

Sergio has historically never been good at talking/making friends with girls or has had much of an interest in doing so, he mostly avoided them, so idk it seems stupid but he was like... woag. At first Sergio in his mind is like. WELL ANN is cool because SHES NOT LIKE THE OTHER GIRLS nope shes COOL AND REAL unlike the Other GIRLS (sergio turn around) BSDDVJBJFVJ. dont worry he figures it out later.

Anywho he thinks shes awesome and so nice to him and he admires how dedicated she is and how she tries to be upbeat but does worry about her and encourages her to break things if angry. Goes on her shopping trips even if he actually hates shopping because he loves Ann. Is encouraging about the things Ann wants to do but still tells her when theyre a bit silly (like in her social link where she sets impossible things to do hahah). Likes talking about more emotional things with her because he feels embarassed to talk about those things with the Boys (sergio turn around again)

Ryuji: Thought he was a bit strange, annoying at first. Just barging in and making him get involved in weird shit. But like with Ann he starts talking to him and they become buddies because they encourage their silly activities. He feels angry for ryuji and what happened to him; he thinks he should kill everyone in the track team actually/j .

Likes spending time with him, he appreciates that ryuji seems to understand him and likes to have fun with him running and excercising and playing videogames etcc. Bro bonding. They do mischievious activities together.

hes so fun to be around and sergio loves how hes such a kind person despite everything : ). They make stupid jokes together. Ryuji stops sergio from killing people sometimes. See, Sergio is like a Bro Character but hes the leader and also he has poor impulse control and is very angry.

Yusuke: He adores Yusuke he thinks hes so talented and everything he does is literally a masterpiece (hes right)

At first yusuke came off as a bit strange and aloof, but sergio was an instant fan as soon as he saw his work LOL. Yusuke appreciates the support. Sergio really admires and respects yusuke, even when he does “weird” things its like. Well its yusuke so. Yusuke = cool, then thing = cool as well right ??!!! normal

Lets Yusuke hug him even if he doesnt like hugs .

Makoto: Sergio thinks at first shes uptight, too serious, no fun, a snitch. I guess hes not wrong per se but ..

He was sooo mean to her at first when makoto hadnt joined the thieves and was spying them LOL. He did feel very sorry later and begrudgingly apologized along with ann and ryuj.

Nowadays he thinks mako is pretty cool, super smart and super strong. he still thinks she should let loose more, have more fun. He recognizes how hard she had it before joining. She appreciates how cunning she is. He had a playfight with her but sergio fights like a rabid animal and mako actually knows aikido . Im not sure if it continued but their fighting styles and what they look for in a fight are so different it didnt work out too well : ( sad. its ok.

Fuba: Fuba is like Sergios little sis : ). He wasnt sure if they should do something at first when the situation came up but he realized fuba was acting kinda like him before, isolating and being angry and sad etc... felt fucked up to not do something or try to help but he didnt want to be super pushy about it because he knew how he felt and how he didnt appreciate anyone who tried to drag him around even if they had good intentions. But yeah his friends made him realize how they ahd kinda pulled him out of a hole too at the beginning and he figured everyone could use a chance like that..

He really cares for her and tries to spend a lot of time with her, play anything she wants and watch her funny animes etc. He absolutely plays along with every game; he has a lot of fun too hes so silly as well. They bully eachother lovingly hehe. Hes willing to accompany her everywhere but i guess he realizes he wont be there for her forever so tries to gently push her a bit to be more independent.

Sees something about himself in her, although different. He tries to be someone that Younger Sergio would have appreciated in his life.

Haru: Sergio respects her a lot and thinks shes super kind perhaps too much.

He tries acting more serious or polite etc at first with her but haru ofc notices and is like. sergio its ok you can be yourself : ).

He still doesnt really act with her like he does with the others because idk theres this enormous barrier of respect that it seems unprope to act like that with her.. She IS sergios friend he just finds it super hard to be casual with her completely.

They like gardening together and showing eachother their plant children so thats something where they can be ever so slightly more relaxed in. I wonder if haru feels sad that sergio doesnt dare act casual or be himself in front of her like the others : ( He super appreciates whenever haru gifts him something unprompted etc.

Sumi: Sergio doesnt know sumi that well. He just thinks shes a cool , super kind girl whos very talented , polite. He always treated her really nicely. I think he enjoys the tyoe of respect he gets from Sumi even if its embarassing sometimes hahah since he feels she gets a different perspective of him ahah. He starts acting more casual in 3rd sem etc but theres also a barrier of respect here like with haru. Its more like.. welll sumi .. she thinks im cool and responsible i.. must fulfill that...

Goro: Well .. we already know LOL right sunset-bridgers?

He is someone so fucking cool in sergios eyes. He considers him his worthy rival and admires him a lot ; hes just so damn cool, talented, smart , strong.. it kinda feels like he always knows whats he doing and even if he makes a mistake sergio finds it charming.

He used to feel envious and jealous of him for having thigs he didnt and apparently being much more succesful in general. But ofc things happen.. he realizes things werent as simple as they seemed and how goro felt quite similar to him.

He really appreciates how they seem to see things similarly. have a similar world view so they can understand eachother easily and talk soo sososo much. Like.. wow hell yeah this guy gets what im saying yeah finally. guy who can keep up with me in snarky convos. Guy who likes to play the same silly challenges as me. Guy who fights with me and is strong as hell so we are matched. In goro he finds someone who likes him to his core; sees right thru his disguise and is interested in spending time with real Sergio. He takes him seriously. No one takes sergio so seriously or seems to give such weight to his words....

He feels very free with him.

Fun fact: In the original Gothicverse lore, vampires couldn't use their psychic powers on other vampires but I retconned that after NiFODD literally just because I think it's funny when Cervantes uses his rage powers on Edmond and Eloise uses her horny powers on Cervantes.

The Vox Odium can invade your mind and know exactly what to say to make you angry, same with the Darkly Desired and seduction or Nosferatus and fear. Eloise using supernatural powers of rizz to find psychological loopholes that allow her to easily seduce a gay misogynist is just so god damn funny to me that I couldn't resist modifying the lore.

There is a way to become resistant to vampiric psychic influence (ex: Guest two years into her training being able to resist Don Sergio's Darkly Desired powers) but it's something that only vampire slayers have. Vampires have no idea how they do it and are subject to getting clowned on by other vampires using their psychic mind invasions to exploit their mental weaknesses.

Jeffrey T Landshark (thats right his legal middle name is The)

You know him, you love him, the chibi little shark boy... (or perhaps you hate him if you play Marvel rivals) well in the Kansas City AU, he's a little different than the comics. He had the same start of course and made friends with all the people who kept him... but he grew up. Got smarter. Jeff is actually an intelligent and sentient being in this universe... who absolutely knows how to use a VCR now.

Jeffrey is a graduate of Harvard law, but it wasn't easy. He had to have a lot of reasonable accommodations, seeing as he's just a little guy. Note taking had to be done with a phone or laptop at which he's a surprisingly skilled typist... holding pens and pencils is a little more tough for him as well as communicating. He uses his phone and an electronic voice tech to talk. Otherwise, his shark speak is unintelligible to most... Wade can, however, understand him.

Speaking of Wade, he's Jeffs earliest (and most profitable) client... Jeffs first real case was Wilson V Summers. Wade did a lot of weird and regrettable things between 2018 and 2024. One was getting married to Cable for about 4 months... a relationship that soon soured and was always acrimonious... Cable eventually abandoned Wade. This was the initial grounds for divorce... as well as the abuse, but Wade has asked us not to talk about that in detail... all these things and the fact that they moved forward in absentia (Cable refused to show up to court) Jeff secured the divorce as well as a decent alimony payment (that to date Cable has been a deadbeat about, but its ok... Wade only brings it up every time he sees Jean or Scott)

When Wade moved to Kansas city with Logan they were doing surprisingly well in the private security (see Mercenary) field. Jeff has been their official attorney for the LLC as well as personnel attorney kept on retainer.

Probably for the best.

In the years before James Wilson was born to the happy couple they engaged is several high profile contracts... Wade Howlett-Wilson and Logan Howlett-Wilson are currently not welcome in Kosovo or Latvaria. This stems from an assassination and taking work with partisans... because there's always trouble in Eastern Europe and the Balkans.... by fulfilling these contracts not only did they start a "small war" but they were implicated in several war crimes...

To their credit Wade and Logan agreed to turn themselves in to the The Hague court... but not before doing some high profile, public, pro bono work of their own to win public sentiment back as "misunderstood heroes who were only doing thier best"

This included taking out a rampaging monster in Brooklyn. Normally, spidermans turff, but he was MIA... it was later revealed to Wade, Logan, and Jeff that he was busy on a "date" and may or may not have been getting railed in the back of a taxi cab at the time... and despite Wade's accusations, he didn't "get it raw and nasty." his partner wore a condom. (See @icarusredwings for details Regarding Spidermans relationships)

Jeffrey has also served as co-counselor in a few high-profile cases. He worked with Matt Murdock on a case where one Jake Lockley was accused of vehicular manslaughter. They were able to argue successfully that their client was innocent by reason of temporary mental illness, and furthermore, that he had no memory of the event. Though he was acquitted of the charges. However, Jake, after a long consultation with Jeff, he submitted himself for voluntary commitment at a hospital, and he received several months of therapy and, by all accounts, is doing much better... though legally, Jeff still has literal power of attorney over this persona of Moonknight.

Sam... Samuel Sergio Casto is Jeffs personal assistant, paralegal and closest confidant. Jeff has a lot of things around his house that are his size but Sam does a lot of things to assist the smaller shark. He lives with Jeff and helps him with things but shouldn't be mistaken as a valet or a butler. He doesn't dress Jeff or cook breakfast (unless he feels like it) and isn't responsible for shopping. He does however assist Jeff in general as well as professionally in court and take dictation.

He's well compensated for this part of which includes room and board. Sam has his own room at Jeffs house.

Jeff definitely appreciates the help. Writing things with pin and paper is hard for him, as well as things like reaching doorknobs and elevator buttons. But he also just genuinely appreciates the companionship. When Jeffs was younger, he was watched by a lot of the people he now calls clients. Gwen, Wade, Sam & Bucky, Dr. Strange and more. People he considers closest of friends now. But growing up that way means he's also a lonely guy... he does not like being or living alone. It's independent as he can be professionally... privately, he'd not have it any other way. Truth be told, Sam wouldn't have it any other way... Jeff was his best friend. Other than his mom, the first person he told any important news to was Jeff.

So that's Jeff in a nutshell.
