I just wanna ask for the Muslim human formers in this au. What would be your opinion on Shia Muslims. I ask this because 1: the Muslims transformers are all Sunni and 2: I’m Shia (despite the name

HELLO HELLO it’s genuinely amazing to meet a Shia Muslim here!

1. Omar Parvez/OP’s direct family is Sunni but he has Kurdish Shia Muslims as part of his extended family! As I’m told it’s not uncommon among Kurds to have that mix, so he’s very welcoming of Shia Muslims.

2. Fatima Adnan/First Aid and Hassan Shandrel/HotSpot have no strong opinions on the matter—they’re Sunni but with Shia acquaintances (and Hassan is only a recent convert so he’s not as well-versed or read in the sects, he’s just most familiar with what his brother converted to prior to marriage). As far as they’re concerned, a Muslim is a Muslim either way.

3. Suraya “There are what now” Widodo/Soundwave has been OUT OF THE LOOP religion-wise for about a decade (not of their choice, they forcefully fell out of touch with it as a captive in a lab aimed at turning them into a govt asset since childhood). The version of Islam they remember is frozen in time from when they were eight or nine and they’re JUST rediscovering/reclaiming that part of themselves, so they’re not at a point where they want to or can formulate a strong opinion on the matter. The concept of Shia Muslims is just a genuine “Oh interesting!” Point of note for them. (They’re very intrigued by Sufism!)

4. Tariq Bukhari/Trailbreaker has. Confusing thoughts on the matter. Though he’s aware that they’re likely ingrained biases from his environment (he’s Malaysian) and he’s not closed to the idea since the version of Islam that has proliferated in SouthEast Asia is in itself, quite culturally diverged from what’s seen in the Middle East, with elements of old animism thrown in (he’s Malaysian).

5. Iskandar ‘Skandar’ Waheed/Skywarp is Saudi Arabian and his version of Islam is molded by Wahhabism. He’s pretty crudely dismissive of Shia Muslims as such, though as far he’s concerned, don’t start shit with him and shit won’t be had.

I remember seeing you working on a SG lambros with their mafia boss dad? What happened in that story?

Oh that’s not an SG!AU!

It’s very much its own thing concerning the American side of the rebellion (as most of the early male story takes place in the UK)

SG!AU has no bearing on the main story and is characterised by Megatron being the rebellion leader versus OP, who is Sentinel’s ‘dragon’.

The Mafia Rebels AU is in the same vein focusing on the Lambros and Thunderhoof.

The Functionist!AU does actually appear in the narrative itself during the time travel arc, so that one is more developed than the two above.

As of now only the bare concept of the Mafia Rebels exist and I have as of yet not gotten too deep into it outside of what led up to its creation.

Hey yo I realized as a a PJO fan and a fan of this au that turns out, transformers and PJO are opposite of each other. Transformers are about robots (associated with modern technology) that are ancient aliens. PJO is about demigods (associated with ancient) born and living in the modern world

Studio brush at 5px and 50% opacity for sketching. (This flows easier)

Gesinski brush at 5px at 100% opacity for inking. (This looks more striking for texture/line weight)

How would you describe the "Real" Prowl??

"Real" is subjective in Transformers rather than objective.

Personally, I see Prowl as stern, but kind underneath it. He's weak in the way of social graces and in dealing with others, though always wanting to do better. Perhaps a bit like Data from Star Trek. He is incredibly intelligent, in all types of math and tactics. He is communicative with leadership, but struggles to connect with those who don't work like he does.

There's actually a Transformers: Mosiacs comic, "Reckoning" I believe, that makes a good summary for how I would like to see Prowl written. "I give my all so we can have a beautiful tomorrow. I hope you can forgive me for taking that so seriously."

Actually life is beautiful because the sound I make while trying to breathe around hot food sounds like my dog trying to eat an apple. When I yawn my cat tries to put his face in my mouth like a little dentist man and when he yawns I put my finger in his obligate-carnivore trapzone and we both know he will not hurt me. When I do not fold my clothes, they do not hold it against me.

I am demonstrably sad, and lonely, and full of fear. But there are other people who will hold my hand, who will point out the hawk overhead, who will give you That Look in a public place. The other day at a coffee shop a child said "look! It's snowing!" so all of us strangers went to go look out the windows. It wasn't the first snow and it won't be the last but wasn't it lovely, like that?

How wonderful to live in a world where birds and frogs both say beep! How wonderful to have an ocean of beautiful sharks with their dinosaur teeth! How wonderful the moon and her changing face, how wonderful the bees and their dancing to communicate, how wonderful shrimp and their forbidden layers of vision! How wonderful, you, and what you will give the world! The way we love things enough to spend entire blogs devoted to them? How people will let me explain my Pokemon team to them? How we will both jump at the scare in the movie, how we laugh so loudly, how it feels to give someone your baking? How wonderful to be alive. I am sorry for forgetting.

More Oni kitchen experiments in the past month or so feat. a Charlotte Russ-style tiramisu, beef stew and a keto strawberry cream cheese cake. All received the seal of approval though I probably wouldn’t do a Charlotte Russ unless it’s for an event since the ladyfingers ring, while pretty, is a bit much compare to the ratio of cream.
