On average, what is the total MONTHLY amount that you spend on dining out*?

*(This doesn't only count going out to restaurants, but also stuff like picking up fast food to bring home, getting a coffee on the way to work, getting a premade sandwich from a grocery store deli during lunch, buying a quick snack from a convenience store or food cart whilst walking somewhere, ordering a pizza or any other food to be delivered to your home, etc.)

*(If you often dine out in groups/as a household: calculate and divide the costs so that you get a Per Person average. This is for YOU individually, NOT the total household/group costs)

(I'm sure polls similar to this have been made before (very common topic), I just haven't personally seen one that I can remember, so, I was curious to do my own! I was discussing this with a group of people today and it was very interesting to see how widely the number varied between individuals. :0c )

last year i found a wii at goodwill for 25 dollars and it came with everything except a wiimote but it was in such good condition i was like hell yeah ill take it how hard can it be to find a wiimote. the answer is it's nearly impossible to find them at thrift stores now so i've spent like 8 months looking for ones in thrift stores but there wasn't a single one and then online but i just couldn't bring myself to spend 30 dollars on one single wiimote so i waited so. patiently. and then 2 weeks ago i finally found one at goodwill for 9 dollars but it was absolutely disgusting and the battery cover was missing and the compartment was all corroded so i put it back and regretted it the whole week but then this last weekend i went to savers and there was an absolutely perfect wiimote just sitting there with no corrosion and a jacket and the wrist strap and motion plus and the nunchuck was there too and i got it all for 10 dollars so the moral of the story is that sometimes things seem right for you in the moment but you have to recognize that they aren't and leave them behind so the things that are meant for you will in fact find you when the time is right. peace and love <3

Well, Catopia was taken off the market in 2018, but it's still on the real estate listings, just in case a buyer comes along. It's a live/work situation, (I think), a cat store/facility of sorts, in the middle of nowhere. The house, built in 1992 in Concho, AZ, has 2bds, 1ba, 2,500 sq ft, $401,800. Let's revisit in case you haven't seen it yet.

Catopia is all about cats, but looking at it again, I'm not sure if it's a business or just a residence.

Part of the 2nd fl. is a loft and open to the main floor. Almost every square inch of this house is covered in paper pictures.

The listing says 2 bds., so they must be up here.

This pricey 2005 Castle House in Ranger, GA has been taken off the market. 4bds, 4ba, 9,069 sq ft, $2,571,500.

The grand entrance with a double staircase.

There's just something castle-wannabe about these modern castle builds. They gave it 3-pointed arch doorways and wide moldings, but there's something about the smooth walls. They seem like they should be stone.

The doorway opens to a dining room. Interesting ceiling.

I can't say that I like the kitchen. It has 2 islands, but there's something about the design that's "off." I think that it could've been so much nicer.

Up here, they have another living room and kitchen.

The primary bedroom is very large and has an interesting shape. What a dinky, pedestrian fireplace surround. It's not even a built-in.

It has more than one room, so it's a large suite. There's a door to a terrace, and it has 2 big sinks that are unfortunately, on carpet.

Huge shower is like a separate room. I don't know what the high door on the left is for.

And, it also leads into this room. Very unusual.

Even this secondary bedroom is a gigantic suite.

Outdoors, they have a large pergola, patio, and pool.

The outdoor kitchen is in this weird little area.

Huge pre-fab barn on the property.

There's a lot of land- 106 acres. This bridge needs some repair.

It also has a lake on the property.

Hello, I'm alive, but it feels like barely.

Owning a home currently feels like a 6/10. I called about a crooked glass wall on a walk in shower and have ended up having the entire bathroom ripped up because it was a DIY job that didn't even include a shower pan underneath the walk in shower. No water proofing up the walls, the walls were just screwed on and not even sealed, or under the floor. Just tile, a thin set cement (a porous material by the way) and wooden subflooring. Between that and old damage from powder post beetles (I know they had had some but were dealt with before I bought the house) there's barely an joists either. We keep ripping up more and more floor trying to find a solid joist.

I'm also hosting two parties this weekend, and my partner is in town and this is all in my guest bathroom with the nicest shower. I have a second shower thankfully but it's a dim, closet of a thing that I'm literally using as a closet.

It's also thousands and thousands of dollars that I was hoping to do fun/nice upgrades to my house with. And then some.

I just keep reminding myself my mortgage is hundreds less than rent in a comparable place would be so I'm still ahead, this is what savings is for, it's not affecting my day to day budget and my dad has told me he'll step in when I reach the limit of what I'm comfortable with savings wise, just "do it right".

So I'm tired and stressed to my limits but reminding myself it could be worse.
