Last Song I Listened To:

Switchblades and Infidelity by Fall Out Boy. Specifically the version on Evening With Your Girlfriend. I discovered Fall Out Boy after learning about Brandon Flowers' drama with them back in the day and I have a new favorite band! I'm going through their entire discography in chronological order except for Take This To Your Grave because I've already listened to it twice and want to give their other stuff a chance.

Currently Reading:

A Study In Scarlet by Arthur Conan Doyle because I was never able to get into a consistent reading schedule with Sherlock Holmes when I tried reading it for the first time last year and would always forget what happened in the chapter I last read. So I'm starting over!

Currently Watching:

NCIS, NCIS: Origins, NCIS: Sydney and Good Mythical Morning.

My mom has been obsessed with NCIS and each of it's spin off shows for as long as I can remember and because I'm always in the living room with her, I've been watching NCIS for just as long. Although it is a bit concerning just how young I was when I started really paying attention. But now I'm obsessed too! I can't miss a single Monday or Friday now that Sydney has started it's next season.

I've been obsessed with Rhett & Link on and off since I was in sixth grade. I lost interest as the format of GMM changed over the years and their humor grew up before I was ready for it. But now I enjoy their modern humor and want to give modern GMM a chance. So I've been rewatching every episode from the Chia Lincoln days to the current season (season 26? I think?) and I'm on Season 5 now.

Currently Obsessed With:

The Killers. I still love BBC Sherlock and Marvel, but they don't give me the same hyperfixation rush that they used to. The Killers are starting to fade on me too as I've learned almost all of their songs by heart and the subreddit is a little less active since I first joined like literally days before their first Hot Fuss 20th show back in August. Now the band has toned down a little on the touring. Brandon Flowers is rumored to put out a solo album this year, so maybe I'll turn my focus to his solo songs.

But despite the rush that has faded, now they are just an easy listening band which I can listen to whenever I want in the background, like how Sherlock is a show that I can just chill to instead of the adrenaline boost it was in the beginning.

As I keep saying, I have (sadly) not been watching a lot of series this year 😔, but I just caught up with Only Murders in the Building, which I hadn't watched since S1, so that was lovely. Also have been watching a lot of movies, including a bunch of screeners for work, most of which haven't been great, to be perfectly honest, but it's always exciting to be able to watch new things and see stuff early.

Currently obsessed with

I wouldn't say I've been OBSESSED obsessed with anything lately, but I have gotten back into Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend recently (hadn't really realized how much I'd missed listening to that, especially the parts where it's just Team Coco). Oh, and Only Murders led me to checking out more of Steve Martin & Martin Short's other work and interviews, which has been very nice :)
