first, we have the alpine boys. shitty weekend overall, another estenalty that affected both the sprint and the race, pierre kissing a wall in quali, it was a mess. talking about the race, i forgot pierre was there until they showed him fighting logan, and este used his tyres for 50 laps to end up p9 only for alpine to pit him on the last lap and end p15 (and almost playing bowling with the reporters). so, both of them are crying on the plane.

george will not cry on the plane. he served, he delivered, he stole that fast lap point only to fuck with max even further, and i respect that.

charles, i think, would have been happy to get the ferrari past the finish line starting the weekend, but he got two poles and two podiums, so he's not crying on the plane.

so, to round it up, only two of the four drivers would remain in the loser club for now. let's see what next weekend brings for them.

Y'all I know that when so-called AI generates ridiculous results it's hilarious and I find it as funny as the next guy but I NEED y'all to remember that every single time an AI answer is generated it uses 5x as much energy as a conventional websearch and burns through 10 ml of water. FOR EVERY ANSWER. Each big llm is equal to 300,000 kiligrams of carbon dioxide emissions.

LLMs are killing the environment, and when we generate answers for the lolz we're still contributing to it.

Stop using it. Stop using it for a.n.y.t.h.i.n.g. We need to kill it.

frankly, the people whose kneejerk reaction to bisan asking for a global strike form the 21st-28th is to say that it takes years to organize a general strike are really unhelpful! no one is saying otherwise, but palestine will be a smoking crater if we all wait for years to do anything - bisan is asking us to do something now. Like are we only supposed to do something if we can do it perfectly??? At some point it’s a valid critique about the work that goes into social movement, and at another point I feel like some people are just trying to absolve themselves from not putting any effort into observing a week of economic inaction.
