The Owl House Meets Mixels

Here's a crossover idea I thought of that's also a dedication to Pride month. Where some noteable characters from The Owl House meets a bunch of Mixels.

I wanted to make an art piece based off one of my favorite queer couples in animation, that being Luz and Amity. And I also felt like the rainbow-length color palate of Mixels would fit right in with the occasion.

(hey guys, IRL Davis here)

(time now to meet the 2nd addition to Snoof's supernatural entourage, introduced in Season 1 Episode 2)

(unfortunately, the ghost in question ends up being the lovable chatterbox, Scorpi (also me in Scorpi's body))

(while the bio mainly focuses on Scorpi, it's important to note that most of his screen time consisted of me in his body)

(I mainly start out as a prominent part of the group (using my portal pad to look up information about Mixels, and coming up with ideas for certain issues), but once the amount of ghosts increased, I start getting desperate to keep everyone's focus on me, eventually becoming the clumsy know-nothing of the group (similar to Whisper from Yo-Kai Watch) in the process)

(in short, Torts and I became the comic relief duo of the show (with jokes that most viewers actually liked at the time, much to my concern))

(okay, enough rambling, here's Scorpi's bio)

Scorpi:

Mixels Tribe: Spikels

Ghost Tribe: Charming

Voice Origins: Unknown (this was from before anyone knew where Scorpi's voice originated from)

Special Ability in Combat: Scorpion Sting (can spin his body around in one place, like an adorable buzzsaw)

From the Charming tribe, it's the former leader of the Spikels, Scorpi!

A small, squeaky chatterbox, Scorpi's only goal in life is to spread love to anyone he sees. Or at least we think it is, since it's been debated as to whether or not he even knows what's going on around him half the time.

Unfortunately, it seems that his adorable but skittish behavior was an easy target for the mysterious psychopath, leading to him becoming a ghost.

Due to his lack of awareness, it's under debate as to whether or not he knows that he's a ghost.

When Snoof, the Key, and Torts first encounter Scorpi's ghost, it seems as if he knows, what with him inspiriting his brothers, Footi and Hoogi, to make them happy and productive, rather than depressed over their brother's demise.

However, it turns out that the one inspiriting them isn't Scorpi. Rather, it's someone (named Davis) who somehow keeps ending up in control of Scorpi's body every now and then.

While it isn't known as to where he came from, it appears that Davis is already used to controlling a body smaller than what he claims to be familiar with.

As himself, Scorpi enjoys flying around, smiling and giggling with joy, simply enjoying the great outdoors and nothing else. As Davis, he acts as the brains of the group, always eager to use a strange device that he calls a "portal pad" to help understand any strange occurrences that cross the group's path.

MF Day #23: Scorpi

A tad bit overrated, but an iconic mixel nonetheless. I can certainly see the appeal for this bug-eyed, scorpion-like creature. And much like the other Spikels, Scorpi may seem like something you want to just squeeze and cuddle with in the same veins as something like a baby seal. But much like a baby seal, it’s probably best to just leave Scorpi alone. Given how sharp and deadly his tail looks, and the fact that he is extremely skittish.

I made a mix while I got an idea for something’s missing…

Jamzy and Scorpi Mix - Known as Jezzie while codenamed The Fluid Artist, a mix of Jamzy and Scorpi who have masculine for appearance and feminine for voice as they’re coming out! They’re chatterbox yet beatbox in music, soft-spoken, and loyal, they have good leadership to Mixels for talent as they’re okay to be imperfect! Two Mixels are combined when talking about gender and sexuality at Pride Month, then they’re feeling happy as they come out. The Mix is controlled by Jamzy with the voice of Scorpi and Jamzy in feminine voice, they’re used as any pronouns by everyone else.

I got a headcanon for Jamzy is transgender/genderfluid and bisexual as love to Camillot while Scorpi is cisgender and pansexual.

In fact, they’re both voiced by a woman; Scorpi voiced by Maria Bamford and Jamzy voiced by Cree Summer!

September 27, 2019 (celebrating Jeff Bennett's birthday):

Footman: Ladies and gentleman, the king has now arrived. Please, make way for his grand entrance.

*Buisines begin playing as Camillot, dressed in a king's robe, enters the studio. Me and Chao, as Medival Mixels, are standing to his left and right respectively as we kneel down for him*

Camillot: Good evening, everyone, apologies for being late.

Davis (in Scorpi's body, and speaking in a British accent): Oh, your highness, I believe you have come to choose what Fridays should air tonight?

Camillot: Indeed, I have. Tonight, in honor of Bennett's birthday, I believe it is best to show... um...

Chao (speaking in a not as good, but still decent, British accent): Well, what is it?

Camillot: Well, uh... um... I, uh... Maybe we could... n-no, not that...

Davis (confused): Yes, your highness?

Camillot: No, that wouldn't... er... maybe... errrrrrrrrrrrrrr-

Davis (breaks character; whispering): Camillot, just make a decision already!

Camillot: I-I'm trying. Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh- OH, I got it!

Chao: Well, what is your request, your highness?

Camillot: Okay um, how about we show... we show that one... episode of Twisted World that introduced me into the series?

Shivor (speaking with an online Medieval translator): Oh, isn't that the episode Whither Thou were... stuck in a time loop?

Camillot: Uh yeah, I think so...?

Chao (breaking character): Time loop?

Davis: It's a long story... *gets back into character* But your highness, there will still be 3 more hours of Fridays after that, you must have something else in mind for afterwards!

Camillot: I, uh... I-I'll think of something...

Sorry this was rushed, I've been a bit... distracted by something...

As you can see, to celebrate Jeff Bennett's birthday, Camillot was invited to choose what aired during the night (at least once he arrived, which wasn't until 8:30pm).

Also, Johnny Bravo showed up to the main studio.

However, you may be wondering why Camillot is dressed in a king's robe, and what "Twisted World" is.

For that, I'm gonna need you to start calling me the King of Unoriginality because I'm almost never able to come up with my own ideas.

The Twisted World of Mixels was a 50-episode series set in a post-apocalyptic version of Mixel Land and Mixopolis, where Nixels have mysteriously become way more ravenous and deadly, resulting in many Mixels dying. Some survived, but they've either been corrupted or twisted (pun-intended), with a few going completely insane. The surviving Mixels have to band together to wipe out the Nixel race.

The series was technically based around an old idea from another user (who's name I will not say) called "Twisted Mixels", except everything that happened was real (we got better dw). I was actually a part of it all, which is why I was uneasy with Camillot's decision.

I'll talk about it more in December.

Secondly, Camillot's robe was from the series that aired after Twisted World ended, first named Mixels 2035, and was later renamed Mixels: The Golden Cure.

Inspired by a discontinued set of stories from Mixel Immigrant Arresto (formerly named Arrestso), this was a 15-episode miniseries that took place in the future, in which Flurr went insane after being presumably mistreated by everyone around him. In the process, he also causes everyone in Planet Mixel to start aging, so some young Mixels are now shown as adults (don't worry no sexual content is shown or implied).

If you anything from the original story (known as Cubit Ball Run), you'd know that certain elements in the show are directly taken from the series Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (i.e. some Mixels having spirits known as stands, Flurr using a mask to turn himself evil, etc.).

With Camillot, he was aged heavily (as well as other Mixels), and is now an elderly king (who kind of sounds like Christopher Lee). He was given permission to wear the robe that he wore for filming of the scenes.
