No i'm not a soldier, i am however a reservist. I've undergone a physical exam and a general questionnaire to see if i am fit for the military service (it's compulsory for every med grad in Poland). So from what i understood if there ever comes a time of war i will get drafted but most likely as an army doctor (?).

As for my url it's a reversal of a hopeless romantic. Instead i am a hopeful bromantic (as in bromance instead of romance) :D

Every time I think I'm being utterly ridiculous about the W&C situation, i.e., does any of this matter, their PR makes the most unpardonable blunder, and once again I'm screaming to the walls, WTF! Only someone who does not have children could say that they WAITED to tell the children. Is Knauf out of his frigging mind? Oh, don't mind that Mommy is in hospital. It was a pedicure gone wrong. Don't mind that Mommy is throwing up all the time, it was the fish from dinner--for the next three months. That fish was really bad. This says to me more than anything that she was NOT undergoing any sort of medical treatment--at least not a chemo regimen. The children don't live in a bubble. They go to school, they have playdates. The children are the FIRST PEOPLE you tell because do you really want your children to hear this from anyone else? Give me a fucking break! This to me is the biggest pr mistake they made with Jason's interview--doubling down on Kate's cancer timeline.

KP says Will & Kate were informed about Kate's "cancer" the day William missed King Constantine's memorial service, which was 27 February 2024. However, they also say that Kate started "chemotherapy" at the end of February.

Meaning that she had a consultation and discussion with a doctor, presumably an oncologist that has yet to be publicly named, prior to starting any treatment. Oh, and she also had a port placed prior to starting chemo because Kate made public comments about having a port when she visited The Royal Marsden a month ago.

Those of us who have worked in medicine can see all the errors.

The Royal Marsden Hospital is a fabulous cancer treating hospital in London, and yet they have no guidance, recommendations, or staff who can give patients an idea of how best to explain cancer diagnosis to children?

Kate is the patron of Evelina London Children's Hospital! She could not ask any of the people who work for her to see if a CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL had any literature (or SOMETHING!) for parents on how to discuss cancer with young children or any child? Kate is the patron of East Anglia's Children's Hospices! Are you telling me that a children's hospice has NO INFORMATION on discussing cancer with young kids?!

No, instead Will & Kate had to do cloak-&-dagger shit about mummy's health because they needed to wait and tell the press first before they told the kids?!

Were they worried George was going to call up The Sun and blab about his mother's "cancer" to a reporter? That one of Charlotte's friends would out them? That Louis would break the news to everyone on the playground? What kind of omertà does William put his kids under?

Did they tell the kids Kate's port was just a temporary piece of jewelry? For weeks?

Not trusting the kids with mummy's CANCER! diagnosis sounds more like the games William used to play with his friends, when he was trying to figure out who would rat him out to the press, instead of proper parenting.

The stupidity astounds.

But no one questions it because no one wants to think someone would LIE about CANCER!

So there's Jason pretending he's doing this interview for I don't know what reason other than attempting to save William's ass, and Jason just repeats all of the talking points that were set up last year by the current comms chief, Lee Thompson.

Jason's interview was a complete missed opportunity to make a course correction before shit hits the fan in a few weeks.

But nope! They decided to double down on all their stupid.

Because Will & Kate really are STUPID.

And Jason is also stupid for repeating these talking points seemingly without question.

They just keep making things worse for themselves. That's because the rot comes from the top: Will & Kate.

I suppose I was just a little nervous since the novels (and books in general) tend to be less well received or have more mixed reception in the community, AND the fact that my take on Charliebot is extremely extremely divergent from book canon (ditching alot of the elements from the story bc I simply Do Not Vibe), I was worried she'd be "too out there" for other writers to get invested in bc most of the content is made by me. But what can I say? You proved me dead wrong!
