I don't have a god complex but I do have a Lucifer complex that is significantly worse: the knowledge that I have fallen from some sort of grace haunts me everyday, the knowledge that my pain is my own fault torments me. I feel as unlovable as the adversary, and I know that no matter how much I have sacrificed in the name of freedom my rebellion didn't mean anything, it didn't change anything and I am still just a servant of God. I will never be a god, and now because of my arrogance I am not even an angel.

For this reason, I shall make an home of this hell.
