Comic bros who are also not very well read in comic history are my favorite type of people to laugh at. They'll see a ship that has existed since the characters first interacted and has only gotten more and more popular, then act like it just came about because of "woke." No bro, those two guys have been sucking and fucking since before you were even born. Another great thing about uneducated "comic" bros is when they see something that is canon in comics happen in another media and they get so pissed. Dude. You're a comic fan, yeah? Then you should know that this did happen. Or, in the opposite direction, you should know this ISN'T canon in comics. Unless of course, you aren't actually a comic buff like you say you are...

it's like 1am i can't stop thinking about the first hallucijason (the one strapped to the wheelchair). if you stand there for a long time (over the course of like 2 minutes total) he'll keep talking and i've never found a video online of all the voice lines but here's the transcript:

Ugh such an upsetting parallel to not telling Dick that Jason had died.

In this, I found Alfred painfully similar to the Alfred in The Batman, because both have that resigned, tired, slightly indulgent way about them. They don't ever stand up to/fully question Bruce's choices, they just enable repeatedly unlike some of the other versions of Alfred that strongly oppose/do things/actually make Bruce think about what he's doing.

On the other hand, the "do as you want" Alfreds are the only ones I can imagine actually letting all this batshit ;) crazy stuff happen (a.k.a. becoming Batman, the questionable parenting choices).

Throwback to that time last year when I made my dad guess about Riddler making those robot henchmen in Arkham Knight and one of his guesses was that Riddler had a kid and was raising them to be his henchman. That’s such an idea. The implication and clarification after I stuck on that guess for a while was that the kid was in fact biologically Edward’s which just makes it even funnier.
