Obvious is obvious but I think people sometimes forget that Stan didn't just ignore any warnings or assume that the world Wouldn't end with the portal he knew it would. There's non stop jokes about him burying gold and stocking up on supplies like brown meat. It's not at all like he didn't know better he was actively preparing to cause the apocalypse and telling people about it 😭

Tbh these aren’t really “Kendrick’s allegations” because we have known for years that Drake is a shady guy. I was there when the whole Millie thing went down and everyone was like wtf why is a grown man texting a minor about boys?? Kendrick mentioned one of Drake’s associates Baka Not Nice, who has a very public record of being charged with human trafficking and SA. Girls from Toronto are coming out of the woodwork talking about Drake’s shady parties. We have tv shows alluding to him being a weirdo. And it was just this year when Megan released Hiss, which most people understood to be a diss on Drake until that dummy inserted herself into it. “Megan’s law” and “hating on bbls but walking with the same scars” are obviously digs at Drake. So I’m not sure what other “evidence” is needed here. Kendrick isn’t revealing new info as a gotcha, he’s just the first person afaik to directly call Drake out on this without dancing around the issue. Drake, on the other hand, is the one misconstruing stuff by lying about Kendrick DV allegations which was about an incident from years ago that had nothing to do with his wife and which Kendrick already addressed in 2014(?). I am more inclined to believe Kendrick than I am to believe Drake, who is a well known liar.

It’s not good that this is the plan they’re following, but if we don’t want to be blindsided by the policies they’re about to try to implement, at least we have the ability to anticipate what’s coming next. Keep your enemies closer and all that. And turns out your enemies conveniently outlined their cartoonishly evil plans in one handy PDF!

I honestly do recommend skimming this for a glimpse into the mindset that just entered the White House. (Brace yourself. It’s not great.)

Hi! I've seen your recent posts about your Spellbound/monster hunter au and I took a few glances to it and I love how Blurr was like:

"Uh, this demon is name Shockwave like the senator and also used to be a knight like him...mmmh, nope! Nothing suspicious in that!"

And THEN still gets surprised when finding that Shockwave IS the Senator!

Cas with PTSD having a fixation on bees and gardens and making the perfect sandwich in late S7 somehow got absorbed into fanon to the point where people started to believe that’s canonical Cas. Bees Cas is a confused little meow meow who never did anything wrong. The things late S7 Cas fixates on are an amplification of his genuine fascination with life on earth, and one aspect of Cas is gentleness and appreciation, but those traits are not the whole picture, it’s what his brain uses as a buffer as he goes into shock and has a lengthy PTSD episode. PTSD Cas isn’t empathetic, he’s detached. He’s non-confrontational, non-violent, in that sense he is kind, but he’s not mentally or emotionally present for the people who need him most, who love him and who care, which isn’t empathy.

The arc gets used to mix fanon with canon, and the fanon version seeks a Cas who is an innocent meow meow who never did anything wrong ever (canon doesn’t do this. fanon does). Far too often that’s used to perpetuate the negative fanon of mean Dean, where Cas is his victim. The more innocent and soft and idealized the fanon on Cas becomes—and people believing that’s canon—the more that got weaponized to label Dean ��the abuser” who is mean to ultra soft Cas who just wants to watch the bees.

Cas’s mental breakdown put him into a numb bubble, and that is the opposite of who Cas is. Cas feels too much all the time, and lacks context and experience to help him process all the feelings. Over time, we see him grow more comfortable in his own skin and with those emotions and expressing them in ways humans can comprehend instead of Cas just feeling and FEELING and trying to keep it locked down or running away from it.
