this is an extremely important question that provides little to no contexf, but ill give you my (multiple) answers. (im really bored)

before i waste your time (i still am going to waste your time writing this entire thing) i have a theory that ur going to draw smth... the short answer is mostly kaiser but i have like another little bit under the cut and the rest is yap (if u think im joking i genuinely wrote 4 paragraphs on some random questions)

So! sae sae sae sae sae he doesnt seem like he would habs big muscles... hes just kinda 🧍‍♂️ ykwim? 🕴️. HOWEVER I DO THINK HE WOULD COPY SNAPS LIKE THAT!! thats him in his silly mood. we love that for him. shiddouuuuu might be the same case. does he even train his body or is it just natural from practice? then again he picks up charles like hes nothing but it could just be adrenaline. i think shidou would have big chesticles but lets not delve into that... KAISER ANYWHA!!! he may look lean but if he FLEXES youll see some apples (hello what does rhis even mean) i think he takes pride in his stature but he only shows it off when need be.. to shut the haters out if ykiwmwiym. sleeper build but its like lean. i would say boom shakalaka

but if we're talkinf ahour rhis specific trend i havent seen one for shidou yet. but would sae (in question, if hes the one asking) really go BOOM SHAKALAKA? or would it be someone else? but who is the question. literally nobody likes him like that except for sae and charles really wouldnt say that either... lets say in theory which one would be the best to date. kaiser is not an option. emotionally it would be shidou. it may not show because sae is equally as freaky, but i 100% beleive that he will always try to match your vibe. he's always trying his best... slightly pathetic slightly concerning but the effort is clear. physically, it would be sae. he may not be emotionally available but he would take care of you or whatever... OUT OF BOREDOM. wat an asshoel! this sounds bad but youd be more like a sea monkey to him. yk sea monkeys? those fish that u can get like eggs and dump them into a container... and then they just exist... and u cant do anything with them... (i was going to say smth else but lets keep this pg 😼) yeah

now lest say in theory youre stuck on an island and you're left with one of them. sae is the worst because he cant do anything and hes a worthless bum! we all cheered! shidou hm.... we have no backstory yet so we dont really know what his life was like. in theory, if there was a tiger on the island, he will fight it barehanded. kaiser is 1# but thats kinda sad so we wont expand on that. theres a chance that he knows what to do, but hell make you do it in his place. and then he gets a flashback and runs into the forest never to be seen again

if ur thinkinf avout who to write for thenn hmmm... i dont really think a lot of people read for shidou?? i just never see many fics for him. kaiser is also great but i think its difficult to put a finger on his character/personality without knowing his entire backstory first (im guilty of this) and how he would really act around somebody he loves bc we just dont see that. if anything, we are all in #saveness squad and no you dont have the option to leave. our nonchalant king sae can sometimes be boring, but if u write him right (heh rhyme pun) and make him a little... cheeky... heh.... 😼😼😼

if its for a theme... hm.... shidou really doesnt have that many pretty scenes/panels yk?? he looks constipated half of the time. his bowels need some help. or a creep. we accept that either way. my personal pick for you 🫵 would be kaiser bc u just give me 🅱️lue vibes.

There's something absolutely ironic and even compelling to me about the domino effect regarding Akechi and Sae's interactions. Akechi had to deceive everyone, including his coworkers. Sae in particular was closely tied to the investigations of the crimes he was committing, so of course appearing as non-threatening or even annoying as possible to her was in his best interests.

However, his petty but arguably feeble masquerade is what led to his cognitive self in Sae's brain presumably being easy for the Phantom Thieves to tie up? He was too good at deception and it led to Sae's perception of him being sopping wet cat, which was easy for the Thieves to subdue, so the threatening, real Akechi wouldn't stumble upon Sae's cognition of him as he went to murder Joker.

I know people usually discuss Shido's cognitive Akechi and the implications regarding Akechi's presentation of himself and his layers of deception, but Sae's is the direct contrast to Shido's, and it's very interesting to look at how being a petty little asshole to your stressed out hot lady coworker about her skincare routine can also contribute to her thinking of you a a nuisance at best (until it was almost too late for everyone involved, but hey, it worked out for the best? I think).

I love the layers of Akechi's deception because he was cunning to a fault. Sometimes I wish we could have seen how the Thieves interacted with Sae's cognition of him, because both Sae and Shido had a very biased perception of him, and it makes me wonder who really knew Akechi at all. I'm rambling here, but it's been on my mind for ages. I would love to see if her cognitive Akechi changed after 11/20, considering he went from annoying junior detective to a dangerous murderer in just one day for her, and she doesn't remember any of third semester or even 12/24 when he was there.

Ooooh these are good.

First off, I don't think Lucy Gray thought of herself as an innocent person, she had to kill to survive but she still killed, there's blood on her hands and I don't think she could have ever forgotten that. She's quite innocent and believing of Coriolanus in the books, so I definitely like the movie version of her better. She's not innocent but she is ultimately a good and righteous person, it's in her nature. (I have so many thoughts about nature vs nurture in TBOSAS)

She absolutely loved Coriolanus, thought he he was pure fallen snow among the dirt of the capitol. The thing about snow is that it's pretty at first, but without the perfect environment it turns into dirty sludge. Lucy Gray slowly realised it.

I hope she got away, she dodged the bullets, hid under a bush or something, and then just ran and ran and ran, far from the capitol, from district 12 and 13, from panem. She lived with the trees, sang with the mocking birds and died peacefully.

Which leads to my opinions on the other theories, that I simply don't really believe them. I don't consider them a satisfying ending for Lucy Gray in any way. She would not have become president Coin, she wouldn't have done those things.

And i think the books are better if she isn't, because it really shows that even when you crush everything into ashes, even if the hope of change, of rebellion, of Lucy Gray is gone, people will still rise from the ashes and fight back, its never gone forever.

Easily a victim!

I can't really remember what my first impression of her was, to be honest. I think I just really liked how unique her introduction was and I feel like we got a nice range of who she was in that short reaping ceremony. Aka, she wasn't a push over (she put the snake down Mayfair's back in retaliation), she isn't made of stone but nor was she weak (she wanted to cry after being hit but she fought it back) and she will find a way to stand up for herself in her own unique way (singing her song for all to hear like she owned that stage). All in all, first impression was that she was a complex and interesting character!

I do not believe she loved him... Mostly because I don't think she ever really knew him. I do, however, believe that she was in love with the version that he pretended to be. Lucy Gray believed in the goodness of people and she thought there was a goodness in Snow and it was that part that she was falling for before she saw the truth. It's why I think she was a victim and not a manipulator. She never used Snow for the sake of using him or pretended to be anyone other than herself. She didn't trick or work him for personal gain. She was generally honest with him and just worked with him because she wanted to live and knew he wanted that too.

I have my own headcanon that's a little bittersweet. I believe she survived Snow's attack and made it to 13. Maybe she was injured but managed to get there anyway and was found by some scouts who brought her inside. From there she simply lived and helped build the base from within as best as she could. I also have this idea that she survived right up until the pox epidemic. I don't know why, but I just think there's something so sad and yet a little peaceful that she died of a disease at old age.

Meh... I'm not really a fan of those theories.

I think the Greasy Sae one is just kind of sad. This great, energetic entertaining reduced to selling dog meat at the local black market? Not that there's anything wrong with Greasy but... That just seems like such a sad way for Lucy Gray the performer to end up.

As for the Coin one, this is just my personal issue, but I don't like the idea that everyone and everything has to be neatly connected. I think that can be cool when it's just an easter egg (like all the familiar last names in BOSAS) but not when it's anything more. It's hard to explain but I just think too many series often follow this "your special because your related to special" and I much prefer the idea that these unconnected people simply find a way to connect themselves with one another. Does that make sense?
