I love 'keep us connected', I've been listening to it for days now and I've come to connect (maybe!) Something in the end verse and chorus. There's background singing/notes and does anyone else think it sounds like the end notes often at the end of the opening themes/music of the star trek series. It literally could just be me but I heard it and immediately connected it to that (maybe it's justs vibes idk). I just think it's lovely if uhura being woven into the fabric of ST is represented by her song having these theme song elements (literal Hallmarks and essentials of the franchise) throughout. For some reason I just think it being that would be an awesome way to emphasise uhura being an essential and necessary part of ST while also delivering a banging tune.
