Homophobia is a reliable metric of derangement, and the Putin régime is officially homophobic.
Putin has delusions of grandeur. He regards himself as the 21st century version of Peter the Great. And like other narcissistic authoritarians, Putin surrounds himself with advisers who only tell him what he wants to hear. So nobody was around to tell him that invading Ukraine was a dumb-ass idea.
So Putin and his clique dredge up bizarre excuses for Russia’s miserable failures in Ukraine. The three-day “special operation” is now in Day 547 (or is it 548?).
Ukrainians are tougher because they are smart and because they are fighting for their existence; Russia’s army is poorly trained, poorly equipped, and requires convicts to keep it from shrinking. Hundreds of thousands of tech savvy Russians have fled the country – leaving the dumbest and most corrupt people behind.
Ukraine’s ability at innovation is world class. You get an innovative mindset in free countries – in dictatorships you think what you are told to think. Ukraine manages to develop new weapons like sea drones while Russia relies on decaying crap left over from the decrepit USSR.
Let Putin’s lickspittles make up zany alibis for Russia’s continuing failures. They are losing the present and will lose the future. This era in Russian history will be remembered most for assassinations, gross incompetence, rampant corruption, and depraved leadership.
Markov said the U.S. and Ukraine will use “neuro-linguistic programming” and other brainwashing techniques to turn Ukrainian soldiers gay against their will. In reality, there’s no evidence that psychological methods can change a person’s sexual orientation.
“They have an artificial political science fascism created by American and British political technologists. They will turn them into zombies, into cult members. I think they will force some to become homosexuals,” Markov claimed.
“These renewed troops of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, zombified and unified through gay sex, along with cult members ready to sacrifice themselves. This is what they’re preparing for us in the spring 2025,” he added.

They're distracting us all with the Trump bullshit trail. While on the backend starting a hot war with Russia having NATO/Ukraine targeting large targets inside Russia using US missles. Shit is literally about to pop off as of now. You thought the covid lockdowns were bad before an election? Hold my beer on this one.

.........many Ukrainians in private were prepared to accept the loss of some territories as the price of peace if Ukraine failed to win them back on the battlefield and if the alternative was years of bloody war with little prospect of success. The Biden Administration needs to get America on board too.
Yet supporters of complete Ukrainian victory have engaged in hopes that range from the overly optimistic to the magical. At the magical end of the spectrum is the notion, set out by retired U.S. Army General Ben Hodges among others, that Russia can be defeated, and even driven from Crimea, by long-range missile bombardment.
This is folly. Ukrainians have scored some notable successes against the Russian Black Sea Fleet, but to take back Crimea they would need to be able to launch a massive amphibious landing, an exceptionally difficult operation far beyond their capabilities in terms of ships and men. Attacks on Russian infrastructure are pinpricks given Russia’s size and resources.
More realistic is the suggestion that by standing on the defensive this year, Ukrainians can inflict such losses on the Russians that—if supplied with more Western weaponry—they can counterattack successfully in 2025. However, this depends on the Russians playing the game the way Kyiv and Washington want to play it.
The Russian strategy at present appears to be different. They have drawn Ukrainians into prolonged battles for small amounts of territory like Avdiivka, where they have relied on Russian superiority in artillery and munitions to wear them down through constant bombardment. They are firing three shells to every one Ukrainian; and thanks in part to help from Iran, Russia has now been able to deploy very large numbers of drones.
For Ukrainians to stand a chance, military history suggests that they would need a 3-to-2 advantage in manpower and considerably more firepower. Ukraine enjoyed these advantages in the first year of the war, but they now lie with Russia, and it is very difficult to see how Ukraine can recover them.

[…] “Musk began quietly subsidizing right-wing political organizations two years ago and only endorsed Trump in July. As a political player with practically unlimited resources and media influence, he’s just beginning to flex his influence. He may be a relative novice in this kind of political arena, but the people he deals with are not. And Putin, an experienced practitioner, seems to be getting something for his efforts.”

From @Ohra_aho – a retired Finnish general.
You can’t have a Victory Day parade in Moscow these days. It might just remind Russians that Putin is far from victory on Day 422 of his three-day “special operation” in Ukraine.
Not only does Russia look bad for its poor overall military performance in Ukraine, but it also just bombed one of its own cities, Belgorod, which was never part of Ukraine.
Russia’s air force accidentally bombs own city of Belgorod
Because of tight media censorship, tens of millions of Russians don’t understand what an international embarrassment Putin and his armed forces really are.
Russia is becoming the military equivalent of the Zune, the Edsel, and New Coke.

The tags on this post going "The date here was me being silly but I added some analyses of what I think might happen if Trump dies within the year :)" have the same tenor as this oft-invoked Tumblr classic

Decade of Success and Failure - Semi final edition: Russia
Russia won their semi finals in back to back years of 2015 and 2016. The 2016 entrant took the spoils with the highest score. They have succeed to qualify each year with a place higher than 6th. There is also that one blemish in 2018 where they did not see the final

today a man from Denmark told me I should go back home to Europe often so that I can remain cultured, stay sharp and not become “dumb” in America. The absolute urge I had to tell him that 8 of the world’s 10 best universities (and 38 out of the top 100) are in the United States would shame my ancestors. I’m not even american but white, mainland europeans have such a superiority complex and for what?
#tp#calm down you know 4 languages bc you need to#you traveled to 18 countries because the entire continent minus russia can fit inside the states#the Nordic model only works because it’s built on exclusionary principles meant to keep our immigrants and refugees#almost every problem with America’s colonial#and imperial history is from Europe#the literal constitution is based off English common law#the slave trade and the colonization of indigenous tribes are European#American stupidity is a result of white supremacy and classism and the failure to acknowledge that in common discourse is by nature that#job opportunities for women of color are far greater in New York and California are greater than anywhere in Europe besides London

Again: the United States of America, 2023...
>Largest prison population IN ALL OF WORLD HISTORY.
>Largest military (in size and price) IN ALL OF WORLD HISTORY.
>10 Billion dollars MORE (we already gave away other billions) just approved to give to the Ukraine to murder people (let's be honest: that's where that money is going)
BUT
BUT BUT BUT!!!!
WE CAN NOT GET EVERY CITIZEN REGULAR ACCESS TO CLEAN DRINKING WATER (let alone shelter, healthcare, food, etc)?!
WE ARE AN ENTIRE FAILURE AS A SOCIETY AND THE WORST PEOPLE ON THE ENTIRE PLANET DICTATE OUR ENTIRE LIVES!!!!!!
<WAKE THE FUCK UP PEOPLE! Whatever we are doing, whatever we are allowing is the COMPLETELY INCORRECT WAY THAT WILL ONLY LEAD TO MORE MISERY!!!! Because, genuinely, it's NEVER ONCE EVER gotten better here...think about how many people are either in jail, serving as cops killing or putting people in jail, or working for the military and killing or putting people in military prison vs HOW MUCH THAT COST! Money to people alike!! How many lives could've have been saved with that money instead of DAMNED with it!?>

Continued Failure of the Biden Administration
“I want to make clear that we are realistic and clear-eyed about the prospects of breakthroughs on any of these issues,” an unnamed State Department official said when briefing reporters last week on Blinken’s agenda. This is how State warns in advance that the secretary will be wasting his time and our money during his encounters in Shanghai and Beijing.
What is this if not an admission of our secretary of state’s diplomatic impotence? Or do I mean incompetence? Or both? This is the man, after all, who arrived in Israel five days after the events of last Oct. 7 to announce, “I come before you as a Jew.” Does this guy understand diplomacy or what?
The media followed the State Department’ lead, naturally, in advising us of the pointlessness of Blinken’s sojourn in China—this at both ends of the Pacific. CNBC: “Washington is realistic about its expectations on Blinken’s visit in resolving key issues.” Japan Times: “While crucial for keeping lines of communication open, the visit is unlikely to yield major breakthroughs.”

When the US warned Russia about the likelihood of a terrorist attack, the Crocus City Hall venue was specifically mentioned in the warning. Of course Putin didn't listen and the result was a catastrophe.
A U.S. intelligence warning to Moscow two weeks ahead of a deadly March 22 terrorist attack included specific reference to the Crocus City Hall concert venue that was targeted, The Washington Post reported on April 2. According to the report, which was later confirmed by The New York Times, U.S. officials told Moscow that the Islamic State extremist group was plotting an attack and that Crocus City Hall was a potential target. The warning did not include specifics about the timing of the attack but said it could come within days, intelligence sources told the two newspapers. Four gunmen stormed the concert hall outside of Moscow just before a concert, killing 144 people in the deadliest terrorist attack in Russia since 2004. The Islamic State, a designated terrorist group, quickly claimed responsibility for the attack.
Putin prefers to live in his fantasy bubble. If Russia mass produces fake news, it's not a stretch for Putin to fabricate his own reality. And it suits him to try to blame Ukraine even when few people with expertise in terrorist activity believe him.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and other Russian officials and commentators have claimed without evidence that Ukraine might have played a role in the attack. Ukrainian officials have denied any involvement and have accused Moscow of using the tragedy to ramp up its war against their country. [ ... ] The Crocus attack was a major failure for Russia's security forces, which critics say are focused on stifling domestic political dissent and opposition to the war against Ukraine, often prosecuting political opinions as "terrorism" or "extremism."
The Crocus attack and the emerging background details about it show that dictators do not keep you safe.
Like any autocrat, Putin is far more concerned about his own prestige and power than about the lives of his countrymen. Look at the losses he's subjecting Russia to just so he can pretend to be the 21st century equivalent of Peter the Great.

Journalist Reveals What Trump Really Thinks About Republican Politicians
youtube
A reporter, who interviewed tRump during his 2015 Republikkkan primary, revealed what Rump thought of the people who (later) ended up backing him.
"These politicians are saps & weaklings."
"I will roll over them!!"
Well, he definitely tried his bullying insults on them - which his early Maga crowds loved.
Yet, he was still losing to Hillary - until Russian interference brought up her so-called emails...
A total lie that cost Hillary the White House!
That's why the Rapist Con Man thinks he can lie his way thru his unearned political life.
When he tried his usual lies & illegal tactics - it led to his election loss & the Capitol attack.
Fast forward to today & his Project 2025 cronies are already altering the U.S. voting system in a multi-front attack to steal your votes...
Be Vigilant!
Report any problems with your voter registration or certification to the local Democratic office & they will pass it on to the correct officials.
Don't let some criminal fools steal our rights & help preserve our free nation.
End?
