I miss playing sports. It’s only been 5 months since the end of my last soccer rec league season. Unfortunately I don’t have that team to come back this fall, and so no sport :( I also miss my rugby teammates, from my one season. They were some of the best teammates I’d had in any apart the very played. I miss having teammates to hang out with. Maybe I should sign up for another rec league…

You had no ideas why you were crying. You just were. There was often no point to your tears at this point in your pregnancy so you often just had to feel your feelings until you calmed down and were able to go about your day.

Jacob was up and on set before you even got up so you were used to waking up alone. Because he didn't get to see you in the morning, he would facetime you to say good morning and have a little chat because he had missed out on his morning with you.

He just so happened to call when you were mid sob. "Baby? What's the matta?" (his R's sound like a/aw to me lol) He asked, his eyes filling with concern. "You just--" You continued to sob and Jacob put his hand up, "Breathe baby, you're okay, breathe with me." He helped guide you through a few deep breaths so you weren't choking and coughing as you cried anymore.

"Just give it a second and then tell me what's up okay? Do I need to come home?" You shook your head in silence as you put your sleeve over your hand and wiped your face. "Take a deep breath." He took a breath with you to calm you even more so you didn't feel as silly.

"It's stupid..." You chuckled, laying back down in bed. "No, no baby, your feelings are never stupid okay. Can you talk to me, tell me why you're so sad?" That made you chuckle again because you felt so silly. "I'm not even sad! I just... you didn't wake me up when you left so I didn't get a goodbye kiss and then when I went downstairs to make a bagel, we're out of cream cheese and I'm too tired to go to the store and the store feels too public anyway, I feel like everyone's gonna be staring at me with this huge bump and I just.... argh!" You screamed out your frustration into Jacob's pillow which of course smelled like him and that sent you into a new wave of crying.

"What baby, what?" "Argh, your pillow smells like you!" You yelled, frustrated still. Jacob couldn't help but smile at that.

"Here bub, I see your water bottle is behind you on the nightstand can you take a drink please?" You nodded, guiding the straw into your mouth and taking a long pull. "Good, good job, keep doing that today okay?" You nodded.

Jacob got closer to the camera of his phone, so close that you could only see his mouth and facial hair. You laughed. "You wanna know a secret?" He asked, looking off somewhere on set so now you could only see one of his eyes. You grabbed Jacob's pillow and cuddled it. "What?" "I did give you a kiss goodbye, I tried to wake you but I knew you were probably gonna be sick as soon as you woke up so I left you be. I still gave you a forehead kiss though, I promise." You nodded. He was right, you did puke as soon as you got up for the day. "Thank you. I was really tired, I was up late reading again." Jacob smiled. "Is the book good?" You nodded, grabbing the 800 page monstrosity off your nightstand and showed it to him where you had left off.

"Damn baby, you can kill someone with that thing?" You quirked your eyebrow. "Don't piss the pregnant lady off." Jacob nodded. "Here how about I send an uber eats out for the cream cheese and maybe some chocolate too and they'll drop it off so you don't have to go anywhere?" You nodded, wiping at your eyes again. The nice gesture caused your eyes to well up again. "I'd really like that, thank you."

"I'm happy to help baby, is there anything else you want?" "Nutella... and maybe some cheetos? The jalepeno ones..." Jacob expected some weird items to be added to his shopping list. "Got it bub. I gotta get back now but by the time I get home, I want you to have drank that whole water bottle okay?" You nodded and just to make him smile took another long drink from your straw.

"Thank you, I'll see you in a few hours okay? Go and get my Rugby sweater if that'll help too?" Your eyes lit up at the mention of his old sweater. He blew you a kiss "Love you baby! Give the bean my love."

"We love you too!"

“I can’t believe you dragged me out here,” Nesta grumbled from the passenger seat, still a little cranky about getting up at what felt like the crack of dawn to support her girlfriend.

“I can,” Cass replied cheerily from the driver’s seat. She was such a morning person it was almost physically painful to watch. “You can’t resist my legs in these shorts.”

Cass played on one of the local women’s soccer teams, and Nesta had somehow been persuaded into coming to one of their games. It wasn’t even eight in the morning and Nesta was ready to call the entire day a wash, but even she had to admit how good Cass looked in her uniform. The dark green color stood out beautifully against her brown skin, and the cut of the uniform was really doing things for her muscular frame.

“If you say so,” Nesta eventually replied, but they both knew she’d been staring a bit too long to really mean it.

“I know so,” Cass responded smugly. She reached over and placed her hand on Nesta’s legging-covered thigh, rubbing her thumb back and forth for a few seconds the way she knew Nesta loved. “Cheer up, sweetheart. We’ll be back in bed in a few hours. You can sleep all you want then.”

They’d been together for almost a year at this point, so Nesta’s body was practically conditioned to respond at the words we and bed. She knew good and well she’d be going back to sleep once they got home and not, so she willed herself to calm down even as she shifted a little in her seat.

“Stop teasing me,” Nesta told her girlfriend with a scowl.

Cass just laughed and patted Nesta’s thigh in apology. “Sorry, Nes. I can’t help it.”

The rest of the drive went by in relative peace, and when they pulled up to the field, it didn’t take long for Cass to grab all her soccer stuff out of the trunk. Nesta grabbed her chair and blanket and dutifully trudged after her girlfriend, seriously regretting not making a second cup of coffee before Cass had arrived to pick her up.

“Have fun,” Nesta said once they made it to the field. Both teams were already there, along with a few supportive friends and family members on the edges of the field. “Don’t get hurt.”

Cass just grinned in the face of Nesta’s remaining morning grumpiness. “What, no good luck kiss?”

Nesta finished setting up her chair and tossed the blanket on top before she stepped into Cass’ space, linking her arms around the other woman’s neck as she reached just the tiniest bit for a kiss. Cass only had an inch or two on Nesta, which made her the perfect height for this kind of thing.

Cass made a happy little noise as their lips met, her hands wrapping around Nesta’s waist and pulling her in tight.

“Hey lovebirds!” one of Cass’ teammates yelled from the field, effectively ending the moment. Nesta turned at the sound of the other woman’s voice, admiring the way her her silver hair was pulled back into several neat cornrows. “Stop rubbing it in our faces and come warm up already!”

Cass pulled away from Nesta with a laugh, a retort already forming on her full lips. “Keep that energy when your girlfriend gets here, Cresseida!”

Cresseida flipped Cass off without missing a beat, and Nesta thoroughly enjoyed the feeling of her full-body laugh vibrating against her chest where they were still pressed together. She loved seeing Cass in her element, teasing and messing around with her friends in a way that showed just how comfortable she was with them.

She just loved Cass in general, really. It didn’t matter so much what she was doing.

“Duty calls,” Cass said once she turned back to Nesta, amusement in her hazel eyes. “Don’t fall asleep on me, Nes.”

“Make the game exciting enough for me to stay awake,” Nesta fired back, stealing one last kiss before Cass jogged over to join her teammates.

“I haven’t had a problem keeping you up,” Cass replied, her voice pitched low the way she knew would make Nesta squirm. “I don’t see why I’ll start having one now.”

“Go play your stupid game,” Nesta responded with a half-hearted shove, her brain not quite back online yet. Cass just chuckled and pressed a kiss right below Nesta’s ear before turning and jogging onto the field to join her teammates, though the occasional look she shot Nesta’s way during warmups suggested soccer wasn’t the only thing on her mind.

When they finally made it back home after Cass’ team won, Nesta’s theory was proven very, very right.

Aah this is so sweet! I'm gonna have to look through all my stuff now...

I'm doing 5 different fandoms because I feel like it!

1. Jeeves and Wooster: Intersex!Wooster, Asexual!Wooster, pre-canon. Jooster. I'm so happy with how this one turned out, especially since I was so nervous to write it!

2. Goes Wrong Show: Each Cornley member comes out in their own way. ChrisTrev and Max/Sandra, Annie/Vanessa. Featuring every character, many different labels, and a variety of ways of coming out, which is why I love it so much!

3. BBC Merlin: Modern AU where Arthur is an English rugby player and Merlin is a Welsh water carrier. Merthur and Morgwen. I love this one because I love rugby player!Arthur and I'm a rugby fan in real life too, so I had fun getting to write about something I know about!

4. Classic Who: Two and Jamie wonder what the other sees in them. TwoJamie. This one was incredibly tough to pick because I think out of everything I've written I'm most proud of all my Classic Who ones. However, I think this one is my best ever attempt at conveying human emotion, thoughts and feelings, which is why I have chosen it. I feel like I really dived into why Two and Jamie think the way they do, which I highly enjoyed doing. Also a good dose of mutual pining which we always love.

5. BBC Ghosts: Modern AU where Pat and the Captain are teachers, and Thomas runs a cafe. PatCap. Also really hard to choose one of these, cos I have so many that I love! This one is dear to my heart though, and I come back to reread it whenever I need a quick dose of PatCap in my life. Also writing Thomas was a joy as I don't do that very often.

You can call me Mae :) I’m Agender and use any pronouns. My sexual orientation is bisexual, and I tend to lean towards guys more recently, but generally don’t have much of a preference.

In terms of personality; I’m really blunt (almost painfully so) and hate sugarcoating ANYTHING- I value honesty most. I’m an INTJ, way more on the introverted side of that, I’m perfectly happy not speaking to anybody for a few days at a time if I need to rest after a long week of talking. I have a strong fear of abandonment and can act pretty immature when expressing these feelings, along with just having childish fears in general

I’m a multi sport athlete and I’m really good at music - things like singing, composing, ect! My other interests are photography (I’m awful at it though lol), drawing and baking. I just got into weightlifting and that is quickly becoming a hobby as well.

One thing I’m the most interested in is what makes a person act the way they are- what differentiates the brains and genetic codes of ordinary people and criminals, geniuses, ect. I plan to go into a medical research type field in order to work on it more.

-You two bond over physical activities. He’s down for literally anything, but he especially likes the weight lifting and would love to talk to you about rugby. Did I mention he’s the best hype-man to have at the gym? …unless you hate the attention it brings, then it’s awful and he’ll do his best to whisper-yell instead. He slips occasionally though, sorry.

-He’s not the most romantic guy around, but he is very loyal and supportive. Anything you want to do, you can do. Anything you DO do, you’re great at. No arguments. Does he know anything at all about drawing or photography? No. But that’s not gonna stop him from picking his favorites that you do and demanding for a copy to keep. Some of them are even framed in his apartment.

-There may be some arguments regarding how you express your fear of abandonment—William isn’t the most insightful guy and isn’t likely to see your insecurities bubbling up until they’re bubbling over—but rest assured he doesn’t take those kinds of arguments to heart. He’s a forgiving guy and really only has lasting issues with people being intentionally malicious. You argued? The next day he’s texting you what you want for dinner like it never happened. All is well.

Hi! I am from Argentina. And I can tell you that here most forms of “casual racism” is brushed off. Most people don’t bat an eye when something like that is said, or are kind of discouraged to speak out because if you say something you are “too sensitive” or “can’t take a joke”. Specially around sports (not just football but also in rugby). People have been talking about how offensive this chanting is for years. Nowadays more people call out this behavior (or at least I am seeing that). I am so incredibly glad that someone as big as EF is being called out for this gross behavior, bc maybe ppl will finally learn.

See this makes a lot of sense, I was wondering if it was just they’re all comfortable around each other and it’s the norm but I’m glad it’s being called out too 🩷 thank you my love
