(Another sister with flopping ears, a dour expression, and a white armband pokes her head in.)

"[i'm sorry... i just wanted to tell you that-]"

"Haruka, I'm recording right now. Can it wait?"

"[oh... s-sorry... i'll tell you later...]"

(Haruka leaves, and Ema takes a deep breath.)

(There's an explosion in the background. Ema's eye twitches for a moment, before she takes another deep breath.)

"Welcome, one and-"

(There's another explosion, and Ema reaches over to the camera.)

"Fine, I'll just do this another-"

The founding and leading members of the Rousseau Coven, the most powerful gathering of occultists in generations, have vanished without a trace. The Rousseaus have kept the balance of power in New Orleans for generations, holding both the greedy Vampire Court and the territorial Bayou Pack at bay by any means necessary, protecting the heart and soul of New Orleans, hand in hand with the Hunters.

With the Coven in shambles and a massive power vacuum left in the wake of the High Priestess and her council’s disappearance, the Vampire Court is poised to take over the heart of the city, and the Bayou Pack is infighting about whether to side with what remains of the Rousseaus or to make the grab for power themselves.

New Orleans is a powder keg about to explode, but the biggest question has yet to be answered: where have the witches gone?
