WINGS & RUIN - ORIGINAL FANTASY

It was in the cold of winter that the houses of Basilia and Volkov made a pact for their daughter of House Basilia and the son and heir to House Volkov would marry, thus uniting the houses and forming an alliance between the countries of Prospemeria and Stryla.

An agreement was made and celebrations were in order, but first the princess was to meet with House Volkov, and though the journey across the sea was dangerous and would take a month at the longest, both families were optimistic about the prospect of an alliance.

though they knew the journey across the sea would be a month long perilous trek, no one could have predicted the fierce storm that dashed the ship into the jagged coast of Stryla. There were no survivors. When word reached house Basilia that their daughter never arrived, they were devastated.

Immediately, blame was pointed towards House Volkov, and suspicions rose that perhaps the noble Strylan house might have murdered her in cold blood. Tensions were high, but it wasn’t until a dragon from Prospemeria crossed the border, doing damage to their forests with its fire and causing damage to their territory by an out of control forest fire that the tension rose to a boiling point and war was officially declared.

In the magical world, we have different plots going on, including a political one, and some danger lurking and waiting for a chance to cross over to the human world to cause havoc. We feature light activity and is open to welcome a diverse range of characters. As a 3-2-3 roleplay site, we welcome players who'd like to focus on stories telling and world building with each other, aiming for this community to be a place where all of our characters grow and develop with each interaction and event they go through on the land of Xyria.

The well-established supernatural community that exists within New Orleans has experienced a brutal upheaval. The founding and leading members of the Rousseau Coven, the most powerful gathering of occultists in generations, have vanished without a trace. The Rousseaus have kept the balance of power in New Orleans for generations, holding both the greedy Vampire Court and the territorial Bayou Pack at bay by any means necessary, protecting the heart and soul of New Orleans, hand in hand with the Hunters.

With the Coven in shambles and a massive power vacuum left in the wake of the High Priestess and her council’s disappearance, the Vampire Court is poised to take over the heart of the city, and the Bayou Pack is infighting about whether to side with what remains of the Rousseaus or to make the grab for power themselves.

New Orleans is a powder keg about to explode, but the biggest question has yet to be answered: where have the witches gone?
