Royal Godparents to Royal Godchildren
I did this list back in 2012, and got some great responses. I've updated and edited parts of the list. Again, any corrections and/or adds, message me! Thanks in advance!
When choosing godparents for their children, the parents often chose friends or other relatives. Often in royal circles, royals also pick other royals. Here’s a partial list. (Yes, I know some lists are incompelte as some of these royals’s godchildren are not royals themselves.) If you have any additions, please feel free to message me!

Note
We’ve come a long way from Megxit 2020 and Harry and Meghan haven’t really stopped talking in the four years.
What is your view on their approach to their children. I don’t want to talk about their children just your view from a PR perspective. Do you think they got what they wanted?
I don't know if it could be stressed enough just how badly and how much Harry and Meghan overestimated the interest in their children.
Yes, there was public interest in Harry's children, but it wasn't (and wouldn't have ever been) anywhere close to the same level or scale as the attention William and his family received or experienced, which is what Harry and Meghan expected. They expected the public to be falling all over themselves with Royal Baby Fever. They expected the world's press to camp outside the hospital for Meghan's glamorous debut. They expected the BRF to give them HRHs and Prince/Princess titles and to shut down all of central London so Harry could drive his wife and new baby home by himself without having to worry about terrorists and paparazzi chasing after them.
When none of that happened, they threw tantrums. They kept Archie's birth a secret. They played keep-away with his face for a couple of months until the christening. They schemed with an American media company to broadcast the first images of their son. They refused to let their son use Harry's subsidiary title. They flipped everyone off. They refused to name the godparents. They instituted rules demanding their neighbors not speak of, look at, or touch their child. (The public's, and BRF's, apathy when Lili was born was even worse.)
Not that they had to do any of that - it was fully and totally their call to do whatever they wanted with their child. But they can't keep the public behind a gated cinderblock wall and then be upset when the public doesn't react when they're finally given a morsel of information about a kid they haven't seen - it's as The Queen said: she had to be seen to be believed. For royal babies, they have to be seen to be loved.
The Sussexes never understood that. They always assumed that the kids would be loved because they were Harry's children. But they were wrong. They were soooooooooooooo wrong and it's why there's so much doubt and speculation that the kids even exist in the first place, which is also what tanked their ability to use the kids for PR.
Which is probably a good thing. Those kids have it rough enough as it is.

(Dis)honest Lies
Demo: TBA || About The Archivists Age Rating: 16+ CW: Violence, death, child endangerment, child death/descriptions of child death, classism, manipulation, forced isolation/confinement (technically?), parental neglect, mild homophobia RO-specific CWs (contains spoilers): here
The king is dead, cries the crowd of mourners that line the path towards the Royal Tombs. As you walk down behind your father's coffin, you note that there are no commoners among them. Not surprising, given they are not allowed to entire the palace grounds, though you wonder if anyone beyond these walls are mourning with you. Your father was a much-beloved king, but no one beyond the Court had ever met him - or you, for that matter, or any of your predecessors since the Curse took effect. You wonder briefly what the outside world is like - the Advisors describe it as a beautiful place of wonder and innovation, at least in the capital. Perhaps the people are holding their own ceremony out there, in honour of your father.
You turn your attention back to the procession. There will be time to ponder this later.
You have a speech to give, a coronation to attend, a kingdom to rule.
There is no place for such pointless thoughts. You were born in this palace, and in this palace will you die. You will never see the outside world.
Will you?

Play as the newly crowned monarch of Batrinoa! Bring your kingdom to new heights, or send it plummeting into chaos - the choice is yours, and yours alone. After all, you are the monarch - who would dare defy your authority?
Customize the MC Veridas (27) (name changeable); gender, appearance, personality, etc!
Be swept off your feet by five potential love interests (gender selectable) - or don't! You can be swept off your feet by friends, too. And enemies. But that might be a bad idea.
Ally with your neighbours, or start a war - Batrinoa is powerful, why not utilize your military and expand your territory?
Solve problems that arise in your nation, or make them worse - where there's money to be had, who really cares if a few peasants die?
Face crushing moral dilemmas that make you question your reality!
Find the truth behind the web of lies that surround the Court - there are many hidden secrets, and if you look in the right places, you might find them. Assuming, of course, that they don't kill you first.
And why in the name of the Divine do you keep seeing the Archivist-in-training in your dreams?! You barely even know her!

Love Interests
The Guard Caelum/Celestine/Calytrix Hildebrand (28) is the fourth child of the Hildebrand family, your best friend and confidant, and godparent of your daughter. As children, you were inseparable, and even when C was in the army you kept in touch. Now they serve as your loyal guard - wherever you go, they will follow. It is their duty, after all; what the monarch wants, the monarch will get, nevermind how they feel about it. So long as it makes you happy, there is little they won't do to achieve it.
The Silver-Tongued Minister Elias/Elora/Elwyn Alinac (29) is Head of the House of Alinac, one of the Four Great Families and a member of the Advisors. They are, without a doubt, the Court's most charming noble. Intelligent and quick-witted, Batrinoa's Director of Foreign Affairs is well-versed in the art of communication, especially when it pertains to getting what they want. There are flocks of men and women alike who would kill to hold E's attention for even a fraction of a second. Fortunate, then, that they only seem to have eyes for you.
The Unapproachable Advisor Orpheus/Odette/Odilon Marchand (26) is Head of the House of Marchand, one of the Four Great Families and a member of the Advisors. O is rather unpopular with the nobility and common folk alike; their blunt speech, cold demeanour, and prickly personality make for rather unpleasant company, though none can deny their skill as Batrinoa's newest Minister of Finance. They maintain a professional distance from everyone around them, but perhaps you can close that gap - surely it must be a lonely existence, to hold everyone at arm's length as they do.
The Revolutionary Mervyn/Maira/Maverick (27) is a commoner of Batrinoa, a tailor who lives with their mother and three siblings near the slums of the capital. Passionate and rebellious, they abhor the monarchy and how the nation is run, and everyone knows it; M is an outspoken critic of the throne, and far from the only one. As the new monarch, you are the very pinnacle of everything they despise - can you show them that you are willing to do what your predecessors would not, or will you just add fuel to the fire?
The Flirtatious Informant Legacy (29) is the best informant in your employ (and the best assassin). They once swore loyalty to your father; now, they serve you. They're a shameless flirt, and never serious - about anything, really, not even their own life. You've asked where they came from, but you've received 14 different back stories at this point and you're not sure they're even capable of telling the truth if it doesn't pertain to their job. You wonder how Legacy ended up in this employ; surely this is not a job most would willingly choose to pursue?
Other Characters
Alix Morozov - your late spouse, the other biological parent of your daughter, and a relative of Drelix's King Vsevolod. They died three years ago, leaving you a single parent. Your marriage was for two reasons only - to end the war between your kingdoms, and to produce a precautionary heir for the Batrinoa line. Having succeeded in both, you considered them a good person and a dear friend, though there was never any love in your relationship.
Luminosa 'Lumi' Batrinoa (5) - your daughter from your marriage with Alix. Now that you are monarch, she is heir to the throne; a lofty title that may be, though it paints a massive target on her back. You can only hope you will not need to arrange a political marriage for her.
Beau Marchand (32) - the disgraced son of the Marchand family, his reputation for debauchery and excess is known far and wide throughout the capital. You remember him vaguely, having interacted with him as a child, though you haven't seen him since he was disowned thirteen years ago. O has since restored Beau to the family, but you have yet to see him return.
Dolion (53) - the Archivist, sometimes called the Secret-Keeper. One of the Blessed, his Miracle naturally makes people rather wary of him, and his sour demeanor does nothing to help his case. At the very least, none of the Advisors seem to like him, though you're fairly certain that's more because he was born a commoner rather than a child of the nobility.
Fialova Solanaceae (20) - Dolion's successor, the current Archivist-in-training. Timid and shy, she seems to dodge you at every opportunity, though you often catch her staring as if she has something she'd like to say. There's more to her than meets the eye, but are you brave enough to seek out the skeletons in her closet?
Helianthus Solanaceae (54) - Head of the House of Solanacaea, one of the Four Great Families and a member of the Advisors. She is the supreme judge of Batrinoa's legal system and handles all legal affairs within the kingdom's borders. As your godmother, she cares greatly for your well-being. She would happily spoil Luminosa rotten if you didn't stop her in time.
Volker Hildebrand (61) - Head of the House of Hildebrand, one of the Four Great Families and a member of the Advisors. Arrogant and conceited, he takes great pride in being the Minister of War. Objectively the most powerful member of the Council, he has the nation's military at his beck and call and takes great joy in lording over the other Advisors. The Court has no great love for him, though none can deny that it was thanks to him that the war with Drelix went as well as it did. Though he has little interest in anything besides battle and bloodshed, he has returned to the capital for your coronation and to assist you in acclimating to your new position.

So, I know there are like, multiple AUs where Danny finds out he has clone children with a bat, usually Tim, and immediately just starts to raise his new child. This usually leads to conflict because the Bat, understandably, wants to have a say in their child's life, while Danny, understandably, does not trust a billionaire with a creepy secret identity within a hundred miles of his kid.
But I don't think I've really seen this AU put in the perspective of a Ghost King AU? Like, Danny as the Ghost King is a big deal. He's the High King of the Infinite Realms; not only does he have thousands of powerful vassals and billions of troublesome if not as powerful subjects, he's got like diplomatic duties. I'm saying that he declares there's a new heir to the Infinite Throne and suddenly Lucifer and Michael are outside his door, bringing gifts and fighting over being a godparent. Hades and Persephone showed up with advice on raising kids. Dark Eldritch Beings Beyond Mortal Ken are there to swear fealty to the child.
And then the Bat swings in, ready to fight for the right to their child, and there are dozens of beings already there that individually would require the entire Justice League to fight. And Danny might be to conscientious of the destruction he would cause if he made this a fight, but all of the kids brand new Aunts and Uncles don't care nearly as much.
The Bat is the mortal parent to a royal demigod; the Justice League is barely half of the equation.
On the other hand, seeing the Bat willing to fight even when outmatched might lead Danny to be willing to give them a chance.

GUESS WHO IS BACK?!?!?
Yes ME with more about my Cosmic Royal au
(Again thank you for @crazysaru99 for all the amazing drawings and the help on the au. Without you this wouldn't be possible)
The fairies are split in classes and the number of their wings is directly affected by it. It is possible to change the perception of the wings ture nature but not the wings itself. Like a mirage or illusion.
The way to de terminate what class each belong is
First class - Royal family, seelie court(main family) and the council.
Second class - Seelie Court(other family memmbers), some aristocracy and knights (may add other folk)
Third class - commom fairies
Tumblr media
After Cosmo Sr. was born there was an event to introduce the royal prince to the fairies, on this same day Jorgen meet the prince.
Jorgen is a first class fairy as he is from a main family on the seelie court. He also have knights in his family being part of the fairy army.
His mother fought in the great magical and he was really close with the royal family. He also doesn't remember about them since this was long long time ago.
He is just a bit older than his aunt Tuli Von Strangle (Mama Cosma)
Tumblr media
While growing up, Cosmo Sr. didn't minded about how his father would soon forget, he always wanted to share his day and tell stories and just be around his dad.
Gonzo didn't ignored his child willing as he would mostly dissociate for a long time or forget where they are for a moment. He would always recognize his son thou, even if for a moment in his memories he was just a baby.
The events that lead to Gonzo's state was a mix of the attacks during the great magical war, his own stress and his own magic.
Stella had to assume the head of the family since the day they scaped the castle and even if she feels ready to break she will rise her head and face what she needs to do.
Tumblr media
The secret will be revealed on a festival, Timmy had learned about a anual festival that happens in fairy world and wished to be there. It wasn't prohibited for godkids and Timmy even found one or other godchild around the fair so this was fine.
The festival was to honor and celebrate all the lives lost during the Great Magical War. The current Fairy King, King Oberon, was giving a speach about the honor of his family and the sacrifices of the crown withou a single remorse even if he knows he is a fake.
Eventually Cosmo distracts himself to get something to eat and find his mother, they argue as she tries to bring him back to her and Cosmo Sr. who just happens to be there goes in defense of his son.
Wanda appears with Timmy and because of their arguing they accidentally end up in one of the old tunnels
Tumblr media
The tunnels are a giang catacombs under the fairy castle connecting the dungeon and other areas. One of the areas is a garden where the mural made to celebrate the birth of the prince
The mural was abandoned but the faces are easy to recognize
And then the secret of the royal family is revealed. With a wish, Timmy let the truth spread for the fairy world
Tumblr media
After facing the council and being revealed what was done, Cosmo Sr. Is crowned King Cosmo I.
And his family restored to the throne as they deserve.
Cosmo Sr. have a talk with his oldest son Schnozmo that because of all he has done is welcomed in the family but cannot be a heir to the throne leaving this to Cosmo.
Alot of fairies wanted to Cosmo and Wanda stop being godparents because of their current status but they couldn't do it as their heart is to make children happy, and they love Timmy too much

The cake scene (not the DUO ad, keep calm) from s3 kind of reveals some Weird Royal Stuff™ that Simon needs to find out about Wilhelm's life. Some things to add to the list:
1. Titles in docs, like birth certificate and ID.
2. His godparents are probably monarchs or other members of related royal families.
3. Princes and princesses need to have a consent of the monarch and the government to get married. Swedish monarchy doesn't require their partners to be royal, the only requirement is to be a part of Swedish Church. And yes, since he's now going to renounce it won't affect him, but he was growing up thinking he will need an approval to get married, surely it did affect him.
4. Aside from "I can only eat what royal chef's made", royals avoid eating garlic and stuff like oysters as there is an increased risk of food poisoning.
Anyone have anything to add?

[2023 Prompt List 1][Previous] [2023 Prompt List 2][Here] [2023 Prompt List 3][Next]
|The MANY Bloodlines of Constantine (Its by pure dumb luck Danny is crowned Ghost King before his 18th, because he learns his biodad had sold his soul, its void now, and not just his but also his half-siblings as well... Constantine is getting decked.)  (Psst read the reblogs, everyone had fun adding to this one) |Daughter of Phantom, Lady Gotham. (Lady Gotham, is Danny Phantom’s daughter) |No Longer In Service (Ghost King Danny has an idea how to get summoners to stop summoning him) |Overdue Payments (Ghost King Danny finds Ra’s al ghul’s overdue payments and a request to repossess it) |For Them (Danny uses his ice to save Dani (Ellie) from melting and does so in front of one Dr. Victor Fries, aka Mr. Freeze) |In A Single Night (Vlad is taken down by either Selina or Tim in a single night due to being a creepy creep) |Assassin Heir? Crime Fighting Furry? NOPE NO THANK YOU! (Danny wakes up in a DC version of himself and tries to nope out of the Assassin lifestyle and avoid becoming a crime fighter. Now if only the others understood that) |Playing Dead AU (Danny is the dead body for those Murder Mystery parties and gets a gig for the Gotham elite. I strongly suggest reading the reblogs, they get amazing for this) |Of Godsons, Fruitloops, and Lois ‘I will drag all secrets out into the sun’ Lane (Lois Lane is Danny’s only godparent, Vlad better watch out) |Recluse Owner, Bookshelf Gremlin, and the Cute Cafe Guy (Danny and Dani have to leave their home dimension behind and decide to open a cafe with Ghostwriter whose been wanting a way to get new books without having to go out and deal with people. Jason is sus of the new bookstore that opened up overnight) (Very hinted Dead on Main) |Cujo is.... Trying (Danny gets hurt, Cujo and him are yeeted into the Gotham, and Cujo... Cujo is trying to do his best even as he’s chased after a sword wielding bird boy)  |Tim, buddy, what do you mean you might had accidentally made a Love Child?! (Danny learns is the love child clone? of Tim and Kon that Tim accidentally made during his bad year of losing everything and Danny gets deaged and tossed back into his home dimension. It was due to Clockwork that he never noticed the life he created (cause villain Tim timeline was nearly on set) but finds out what he created when said love child shows up at a Gala wandering around just after he announced he’s dating Kon) (a TimxKon story where they try to raise their clone love child) |Bellatrix Star ( a TaliaxDanny idea. Queen Talia and Ghost King Danny) |Joker Messed Around and Found Freaking Out. (Joker messed with the wrong person when he took a visiting class hostage) |Fenton Ethics and Test Tube Babies (Jazz and Danny aren’t Fenton’s but are half-siblings and cousins (basically same mom, different dad’s)...The Fenton’s have some... questionable ethics and moral) |Timelines, Red Robins, and Kings (dont ask about the title, it was only thing I can think of) (Tim crashes in on Danny’s ghost King lesson’s during his Red Robin run. Clockwork is excited for this timeline cause he gets to have some fun) |Beloved Beyond Time (Due to weird time-traveling, Ghost Prince Danny is summoned and mistaken as King by the LoA. There he meets a smitten young Damian al Ghul who proclaims they will marry... Later Danny finds himself cornered by a year older Damian when he returns to his own time) |Over Tea (Gotham gets a sudden and strange weather that shakes it to its core. The Batfam is trying to find the source, meanwhile a young Ghost King and Lady Gotham are discussing things over tea. |Good Doggos Give Hope! (A self-indulgant idea of Cujo wanting to help his fav ghost boy and meeting a very special ring wearing Corgi) |Taking a Chance (Good!Mom Talia! DannyxTalia (Royal Errors) and half-siblings Damian and Ellie (Danielle). Talia discovers Ra’s future he set out for Damian and is at the ends of her ropes, she is given a chance to leave in the form of a cryptic time being. Meanwhile Danny needs someone to become Danielle’s mother before she completely destabilizes)

He is not the end-all-be-all to William that people keep making him out to be.
People are not making him that, it's William who is making him that!
If Kate can make a speech about Heads Together without mentioning Harry's name when he was definitely part of it then what's stopping William from doing the same?
Heads Together...you mean the charity that Kate dreamt up herself and onto which Harry only cosigned?
Please, anon. Tell me: how many times has William made Harry the center of his universe?
Because the examples you, and/or the anons who think like you, keep citing actually have bigger significance:
The Windsor Walkabout: William put country and his late grandmother's memory before himself.
Reposting birthday wishes: KP was following royal protocol. If they gave 40th birthday greetings to Meghan, they're going to do it for Harry.
Mentioning Harry in a recorded interview with other people present: WIlliam acknowleding Diana's influence and work to teach them about their privilege for helping others.
#Kategate and all the wild conspiracy theories: That had nothing publicly to do with Harry and William's choice not to have KP intervene had nothing to do with Harry.
So tell me. Fill me in. You're claiming to be the expert here, so you share your evidence. Cite your sources. When has William made Harry the endgame? When has William prioritized Harry over his wife and children?
Was it the time that William let Harry make all the decisions about George and Charlotte? (That didn't happen. What actually happened was that William confronted Harry and told him that George and Charlotte weren't his responsibility?
Was it the time William allowed Harry to visit Kate after her shocking hospitalization and cancer diagnosis? (He didn't and Harry told everyone that William wouldn't take his call.)
Was it the time that William confided in Harry about Kate's cancer diagnosis? (He didn't; Harry found out the same time as the rest of the world.)
Was it the time that William refused titles and styles for his children because Harry's children didn't get them automatically at birth? (That didn't happen.)
Was it the time that William/KP leaked how Meghan made Kate cry? (Because if William was prioritizing Harry, then he would've buried that story.)
Was it the time that William rescheduled his and Kate's garden party with the cousins so they could all go to Harry's Invictus Games thing? (That didn't happen.)
Was it the time William demanded the BRF let Harry and Meghan into the official procession for the 2020 Commonwealth Service? (Because that didn't happen. That's what Harry wanted - he wanted to be in the official procession and by William and Kate sitting down, they refused to give Harry want he wanted.)
Was it when William decided not to announce his own program in conservation and environmentalism after Harry announced Travalyst? (That definitely didn't happen.)
Was it when William declined to be in a heirs photo without Harry and Archie included? (That didn't happen.)
Was it when William moved his family back to central London from Norfolk because Harry was lonely and missed him? (That didn't happen.)
Was it when William forced Kate to reschedule Charlotte's christening so Harry could be there? (That didn't happen, and Harry missed the christening because he was seconded to Australia.)
Was it when Wiliam wanted Harry to be one of his kids's godfathers, who cares what Kate wanted? (That didn't happen; Harry isn't any of the kids's godfather, which is quite a statement to make. Neither are Pippa and James godparents for the matter, anyway.)
Was it when William cleared house and fired his entire press office because Harry had concerns they were leaking to Dan Wootton? (That didn't happen, and later, William actually promoted the person Harry accused of leaking.)
So tell me, anon. When, where, and how did William make Harry the end-all-be-all to his future monarchy?

Happy 47th birthday to Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, Duchess of Västergötland!
Born on 14 July 1977, Victoria Ingrid Alice Désirée is the heir apparent to the Swedish throne, as the eldest child of King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden. If she ascends to the throne, she would be Sweden's fourth queen regnant (after Margaret, Christina and Ulrika Eleonora) and the first since 1720. Her inheritance is secured by Sweden's 1979 Act of Succession, the first law in Western Europe to adopt royal absolute primogeniture.
She was baptised at the Royal Palace Church on 27 September 1977. Her godparents included Crown Prince Harald of Norway (later king of Norway), and Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands (later queen of the Netherlands, 1980-2013).
Victoria was made crown princess on 1 January 1980 by the 1979 amendment to the Act of Succession of 1810 (Successionsordningen).
On 24 February 2009, it was confirmed that permission had been granted and that Victoria would marry Daniel Westling in the summer of 2010. The wedding date was set in Stockholm Cathedral for 19 June 2010, the 34th anniversary of her parents' marriage. The couple have two children: Princess Estelle Silvia Ewa Mary, Duchess of Östergötland (12) and Prince Oscar Carl Olof, Duke of Skane (8)
Often referred to as the "Godmother of Europe, Crown Princess Victoria is the godmother of eighteen children including: Prince Constantine Alexios of Greece and Denmark; Catharina-Amalia, Princess of Orange; Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway; Prince Christian of Denmark; Princess Eléonore of Belgium; Princess Katharina of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha; Princess Leonore, Duchess of Gotland; and Prince Alexander, Duke of Södermanland.

Robron Fanfiction Recommendations (Aug-2024)
Tumblr media
The below were recommended on Twitter during August 2024.
Front Page News (2017) 29.6K words, lullabelle_moon
Reporter AU. It’s the 1930s and Robert, a small time reporter, wants to break into crime reporting which means trying to get an interview with the infamous Zak Dingle. That path leads him to Aaron who is being used as a scapegoat for a diamond shop robbery with the owner having been shot supposedly by Aaron. During the span of six weeks before Aaron goes on trial, not only is Robert trying to gain support for Aaron through news articles but his attention loses focus from that Zak interview to slowly realizing his heart totally beats for Aaron. Can Robert save Aaron from the noose?
Reunion (2018) 7.5K words, livesybaby
Reunion 2.0 alternative. If you take the events before Valentine’s Day to the day of their reunion and jiggle them around a bit with a callback of Liv’s involvement in getting the idiots back together in 2016, you get this new lovely take involving Operation: Get the pillock back home. Doc pointless being dull as ever makes it all the better 😜.
Reclaim Me! Make Me Yours Again! (2017) 27.3K words, DingleLovesSugdenAlways
Alternative early hell year. In this version, Aaron is still being beaten and taking spice but with more horrors. When a beaten Aaron is hospitalized, Robert has the lawyer work his magic to get Aaron out of prison right away but on tag. What follows is an organic journey of Aaron trying to cope with what he went through in prison both physically and mentally with Robert there every step of the way. There is NO Hippy Henrietta in sight… it’s solely about their journey together!
The Future Starts Slow (2016) 6.4K words, dirtylittlegreasemonkey
It’s Vic’s 22nd birthday and she wants to spend it bowling which Robert hasn’t an interest in. So that leaves her, Adam… and Aaron. Aaron’s going? That changes Robert’s mind right away. Even though he and Aaron are only mates now, he misses him. Well, with having a sister that is rooting from them, a little nudging is needed with the two but will it be enough to push them in the right direction especially when they get stuck on a road?…
A Cold Night in November (2016) 18.1K words, robron_til_the_end
When Liv doesn’t come home as expected, Aaron is ready to call the police until Robert goes out to find her. When Robert does find Liv at the cricket pavilion, she drops the bombshell that she’s pregnant. And from there the story unfolds about the lads accepting her decision about the baby, who the baby’s dad is (and isn’t) and how the situation brings up a traumatic time in Robert’s missing years. It’s all about the little family banding together and growing stronger.
Life As We Knew It (2019) 9.8K words, some_mad_lunge
Enemies to Friends AU. Aaron had been a very close friend of Connor’s for years and then to his husband, Isaac. They even tried to matchmake Aaron (with Robert) but it went wrong big time. Now the couple have died unexpectedly and it’s godparents Aaron and Robert who wind up with custody of their son, Arthur. The dislike is still there but they both are determined to put it aside for the sake of Arthur. Will living together also give them the chance to see each other in a new light to be more just parents to Arthur?
Royal Expectations (2015) 23.4K words, shineistan
Royalty AU. To celebrate Diane’s 60th birthday, the royals throw a birthday party (but for King Jack, it’s also to search for a bride for Robert who has no desire to wed and doesn’t believe in love either). During the party, Robert spots Adam (his sister’s fiancé’s betrothed) with Aaron, and is intrigued right away. What follows are the up and downs or Robert and Aaron with a large dose of Jack using blackmail to get his way (and Aaron away from Robert in the process). Rest assured, Jack gets what’s coming to him in the end…
Be My Forever (2016) 7.0K words, thesalmondean
When Aaron returns from a meeting in Hotten Adam forgot to cancel, he comes across blood at the scrapyard where Robert had been scrapping a car (yes, manual labor shocking). Having left his mobile behind, he learns Robert is at hospital but when he gets there, he is erroneously informed Robert died! Harming himself believing he’s lost Robert, Aaron is shaken when Robert turns up alive and well. Back home at the pub, they talk and reconnect. “But I can promise you I’ll never leave you willingly.” - how true that line became in the end 😢.

Do Helen and MC ever crossed path before? Did Helen and the Royal Family? Will we be able to choose the relationship between MC and the rest of the Royal Family or is it already good?
Hello Anon!
Yep, Helene, MC, and the Royal Family have all met before at a ceremony they had when the title of Saintess was officially bestowed upon Helene.
As for the relationships between MC and the members of the Royal Family, most of them are pretty set already, but how good the relationship is depends on each person
King Ærick and Queen Lucia would be on pretty good terms with MC (and I just realized while typing this that Duke and Duchess Argentius would have definitely asked the king and queen to be MC’s godparents 😅).
The second eldest among Ærick and Lucia’s children, Princeps Ræ (ze/zir), hasn’t really seen MC since the whole saintess ceremony thing because ze’s been studying at the academy-I-still-need-to-name and ze has been living at the student dorms since ze entered the academy. And, you know those like, calm and relaxed people who you think would be pretty cool to hang out with but then you kinda get intimidated by their epic coolness? Yeah, that's pretty much the vibes that Ræ gives off
Ædric’s twin sisters, Princess Mælianna and Princess Særina, both adore MC and want to be like them when they grow up. I think for them, I'll provide options to determine their relationship with MC because they're 6 years old and I'm aware that not everyone enjoys interacting with children. (But bless their little hearts, they'll understand, give MC space, and really try their best to not bother MC by showing them the pretty flowers they picked from the garden that match MC's eyes as calmly as they can 🥹)
For the family of Prince Ædmund (King Ærick's younger brother), they're like, friendly acquaintances now since they don't live at the palace anymore (they moved out 4 years ago when the son, Cælus, graduated from the academy at 18), but they all think highly of MC 😊
