About medals and Charles's family order

Hello CC! Hope everything is good!

Harry has worn his medal twice since the coronation and he hasn’t worn the 👑 medal. I don’t remember if you read at the time whether the medal was given to him or not. I know that the medals weren’t ready on May 6th so he couldn’t be given one thay day, but it’s been a year and in some way if the King wanted him to have it, a way to get it to Harry would have been found. Plus Harry has been to Uk at least 2 since then.

Would you be interested in reading about it? Has Charles decided not to give him the medal even though he attended the ceremony? If so, why? Or it’s just that he wanted to give him personally and hadn’t had the chance since Harry does the flight in and out UK so quickly?

Another thing that has me wondering is why Charles still hasn’t got his order ready….I mean he had years to think about it and it’s been almost 2 years since his accession…..I don’t think it would take that much time to design and create the numbers for all the ladies that already have his mother’s. Like Fred, the Danish king, has already one. It’s kinda weird

What’s your take? I really thought they would let Camilla debut it alone with either a portrait of her in white-tie attire or at the Parliament opening since Catherine or Anne wouldn’t be present. Hope this Japan state visit in June will finally reveal it.

It is very interesting that Harry has not worn the Coronation medal with his other medals since the coronation. I would definitely like to read on that and see what is up.

With King Charles’s family order, it may appear at the State Banquet for Japan, or they may still be in production. I’m not sure how many royal ladies get them, but we have Camilla, Catherine, Charlotte, Meghan, Lili, Beatrice, Eugenie, Sophie, Louise, Anne, Savannah, Isla, Zara, Mia, Lena, Margarita Armstrong-Jones, Sarah Chatto, and then all the cousins and their wives and daughters and granddaughters. That is a lot of royal ladies (I am not sure if the children get the family order or not - I would hope they do as otherwise King Charles may be gone by the time they are adults and then they would not have a family order from their grandfather). Depending on which ones the King wants to honour with his family order, that is a lot of orders to prepare.

There could also be issues around the manufacture of the Family Order itself. They used to be painted on ivory, but Princess Catherine has hers made of glass because of Prince William’s stance against poaching, and King Charles may continue that. I know that Princess Catherine’s order took longer to make because it was made of glass, so maybe that is a factor as well.

Then, of course, The King could be delaying the release because he has certain female members of his family that he does not wish to wear his family order, and he does not want to face the media sulks they would put out about being excluded. without having news to drown it out.

We will have to see what happens at the State Banquet for Japan.

With everything that has happened recently, to Harry and Meghan I just want to say that I will be entering a new stance on this page. This stance will be consisting of a “Fuck Everyone in the British Royal Family!”. I’m talking about the adults, the children, the dogs, and the damn horses.

Since there are people who have been so cavalier about what happened to Harry, Meghan and Doria on May 16th and the fact that 3 people (Harry, Meghan, and Doria) could’ve lost their lives and that 2 babies (Archie and Lili) could’ve grown up without their parents and grandmother then I’m choosing to no longer play nice when it comes to those white bastards over in the U.K.

I don’t know how others feel but I believe what happened to Harry, Meghan, and Doria in New York City and with the fact that an intruder was found and arrested at their Montecito home that this was a coordinated hit job ordered by the British Royal Family (Yes, I mean Charles, Camilla, William, Kate, Sophie, Edward, Anne, Andrew, Beatrice, Eugenie, etc.) and the British Media.

From the Day of the Coordination and even before that has me questioning things, like why Count Mozzarella was so friendly towards Harry and what was the real true intentions behind Beatrice and Eugenie meeting up with Piers Morgan.

So, having said that I don’t care about the safety and well-being of these people because quite frankly I’m out of fucks to give and that includes the children as well.

So, Fuck the Adults and especially Fuck those Kids! (George, Charlotte, Louis, August, Sienna, Louise, James, Zara and Mike Tindall’s kids, and Peter Phillps kids)

***Has anyone notice that every time it looks like things are going well for Harry and Meghan and or Meghan is about to hit her stride that some bullshit occurs. Like for instance Meghan’s cover for Variety, her possibly doing an appearance on Jimmy Fallon/Kimmel and the UN and then that old bat dies and now when she’s being honored and something that she was really proud of, or how about when Harry was about to launch travalyst . It’s like someone or something is trying to stop and or shit over their/his/her success/ pivotal moments. I wonder who or what is the behind it, hmm?!?

There can’t be many people in the world who don’t know about Jeffrey Epstein and his friendship with Prince Andrew. There can’t be many people who don’t know about the accusations against Prince Andrew either.

Like many people, I find it infuriating that Andrew hasn’t faced any kind of real questioning. That he has been protected every single step of the way.

For any woman (or man for that matter), thinking about coming forward about sexual abuse, it’s just another situation which proves that it most likely isn’t worth the psychological trauma of being disbelieved and having your name dragged through the mud, while the perpetrator claims that you must have other motives or something wrong with you.

I’m not saying that abuse victims shouldn’t come forward. I’m simply saying that the system makes it feel like they shouldn’t bother. It makes it feel like a losing battle and that those who do find the strength and courage are incredibly brave and strong characters. Even if they don’t think they are, and probably don’t feel as though they are, they are an inspiration for many.

So, like many people, I already knew the story when I watched the Netflix show ‘Scoop’. I’d even watched the BBC interview when it first aired. Yet the show brought home something uncomfortable, which I’d seen the topic of several social media debates.

Why do Princess Beatrice & Eugenia still seem so close to their father? Why do they insist on standing by him?

It can be hard to put ourselves in their shoes but imagine for a moment, as uncomfortable as it might seem that this kind of accusation was lobbied against one of your own parents. A person who you loved and trusted. Someone you thought you knew inside out and felt like a source of strength and safety in your life.

No doubt it would cause hugely uncomfortable feelings of doubt. You wouldn’t be able to help yourself from wondering whether there was truth in it but to accept that there could be would blow apart everything you thought you knew about that person.

It would shake how you viewed everyone else around you if your view of that person had been so wrong. It would create so much self doubt. So perhaps, some people might disregard it and feel that there is no way it would be true.

Especially when you add in the next layer. Something which only somehow hit me while watching the Netflix show. Prince Andrew had taken Jeffrey Epstein, Harvey Weinstein and Ghislaine Maxwell along to Princess Beatrice’s 18th birthday party. A party which was no doubt filled with lots of young women.

So many Andrew defenders will say “innocent until proven guilty” but even if (and that’s a very big IF) he is innocent, it seems highly unlikely that he didn’t know about his friends penchant for young girls. He took the wolves right into the centre of a field full of prey. Prey that was his daughters and their friends.

That is a huge amount for any young woman to reckon with. Someone who they probably viewed as their rock and their safety net had in fact used them in such a vile way.

They should be angry. They should be furious. They should probably want to get as far away from him as they possibly can. But life isn’t that simple. Feelings aren’t that simple. Before any of that can happen, first they’d have to accept it and like many victims, that takes a lot of time and soul searching.

How many victims of sexual abuse don’t come forward to begin with because they spend so much time hating themselves first? Blaming themselves in some way? Finding it too much to admit to? Some never get past that and never come forward.

My take away from this show is that Beatrice & Eugenie are victims too. Perhaps not ever having hands laid upon them, but victims nonetheless.

Beatrice's outfit to Will and Kate's wedding was good and it was camp and I will die on this hill. The people bullying a 20-year-old and her younger sister to the point of tears over having outfits that were a little wacky looking was peak loser behavior.

It is very much known in some circles that the royal family has been divided across a simple line since the 90s. One group, we can call group Wales. This group consists of Charles, Camilla, Anne, William, Anne's children and husband, and in more recent times, Edward and Sophie. Most courtiers prefer working with this group. The other group, York, consists of Andrew, his daughters who mostly stay out of the shenanigans, his former wife, Harry, the ex Princess of Wales and fringe members of the family upset with their position (I think they need to introduction).

Harry used to consider Andrew a second father after his mother died. They went on vacation together, Beatrice and Eugenie stated that in the case something happened to Andrew, Harry would be the one to walk them down the aisle, Eugenie wanted him to be a godfather to little August. Beatrice planned a smaller, intimate wedding before the virus in the Chapel Royal and Harry was supposed to participate in her wedding somehow, as he was supposed to participate in the wedding of Eugenie as an usher.

Now, you're probably wondering,how did they fall through?

Harry married a version Fergie with a dash of Princess Michael on meth. She bullied the York girls, especially Eugenie around the wedding, banned Anne's granddaugthers from being bridesmaids, she got into a fight over jewelry with William and that was not even in the first year.

Then, the Gloucesters considered briefly moving to the country and Meghan harpied to get apartment A or Diana's old apartments because she saw certain pieces from the royal collection she wanted placed in her household so she can merch clothes, home deco and products off them. The Gloucesters couldn't move in the end and Meghan nearly snapped.

Then came the staff bullying. Meghan, who likes to play a liberal is horribly prejudiced against gay people, gay men especially. There are gay employees she has been using slurs for berrating them. Or maybe there was just one. William didn't just kick them out. He put on a crown and fired them from being senior royals. The Queen stated that she wanted to downscale their engagemets, especially hers, until they are reduced to private citizens, but she pulled megxit to one up the family. The entire story about her mental health and palace leaks has been a lie. The person responsible for the covering up of Meghan's treatment of staff is not Charles, but Andrew. He paid off many of the staff Meghan tortured and bellitled with money from a source I would not like to name. In the end, Andrew couldn't kill the story and this is why there were leaks everywhere. He distanced himself from Meghan because she was too much even for him. This is why they haven't trash talked Andrew. He burried her skeletons,not just those in the palace, but beyond.

Now, there is one person that both Wales and York like and that would be Catherine Cambridge. She is much more powerful because both parties listen to her and believe her. Catherine is the glue that holds that mess together and this is why Harry hopes to rebuild a relationship with her, not William. That bridge is burned forever. We've seen some positive PR regarding her lately, but we still haven't seen the biggest thing she has been preparing for this year.

I don’t remember if this was said on your blog or not, but an anon made a very good point of how Meghan always tries to kind of attach herself to Eugenie like they are great friends or something. I just find her actions so utterly weird and bizarre. If someone is your friend then why on earth did she purposely upstage her wedding?! I don’t know why Eugenie is even seemingly cordial or supportive towards MM either. And if they were ‘friends’ how did Meghan not know anything about Harry? I can’t stand how she insults peoples intelligence, it’s honestly so annoying. She is a right creep and Cressida seriously dodged a massive bullet by marrying the other Harry! She looked beautiful yesterday too.

I think Meghan was introduced to Eugenie and latched onto being friends with a Princess. Makes me curious because Beatrice seems to be more Meghan's type. Beatrice used to jet set all over the world on nice vacations and she hangs with the rich and famous. I really wonder what Bea thinks of Meghan.

Honestly I think Eugenie is a nice person but I think she refused to hold her wedding in 2019 which was against Meghan's demands. So Meghan got back at her.

The whole Frogmore Cottage thing was weird to...did they move in or didn't they? Then Eugenie posting about the 40x40? Weird because I don't recall her posting about W&C's big projects.

I don't understand the dynamic there. For some reason it seems as if Eugenie is loyal to H&M.

P2 adding on why would she leave? Shes still got the queens funeral & charles coronation to attend. I wont be surprised if she attends the jubilee nor will I be surprised if she doesn’t.

Without harry, what income does she have exactly? ………she may have the kids, however, with the way she spends, whatever settlement she gets will be gone within 6 months-1 yr.

Im placing bets though….

*if they divorce—I bet on a decent settlement, joint custody, no security but only when the kids visit.

*when Wills is King, I bet dimwits security will be diminished, royal duties limited & passed on & his kids security will be taken away.

Speaking of William, I feel he is moving forward to the modern era & prefers a slimmed monarchy soooo…….

Id be curious for a reading on what the titles will be for Harrys kids or if there will be a letters patent of lesser titles for them? I wonder if there were talks of lesser titles for his kids due to slimming & modernization of the monarchy?

Hi P2 (I am assuming this is PA2 again),

Harry's kids already have titles, they just do not use them. As the eldest son, Archie can use his father's next title in the order of importance of the titles, so Archie is the Earl of Dumbarton, the same way that Prince Edward's son James is Viscount Severn. As for Lili, she is Lady Lily, the same way that Prince Edward's daughter is Lady Louise. I don't know why Harry and Meghan decided not to use these titles, but they are there for the taking (By the way, according to lady C, the announcement at Archie's birth that he would not be known as the Earl of Dumbarton but instead be known as Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor is a big sign to those 'in the know' that his birth is illegitimate in some way and he is not, in fact, eligible for that title).

My understanding is that Meghan wanted her children to be HRH Prince and HRH Princess. Under the current laws they are not eligible for the style of HRH or the title of Prince/Princess, as that only applies to male line grandchildren of the current monarch (so Beatrice and Eugenie, Louise and James, William and Harry).

Her Majesty wrote a Letters Patent giving the HRH style and the Prince/Princess title to all of William's children, whereas before that it would only go to his eldest son (this was to avoid the issues arising if the eldest child was a girl, as she would be next in line to the throne, and under the old laws she would be outranked by her younger brother if a son was born after her. George being a boy made the issue moot, but the law is still in place for future generations).

Meghan expected a similar Letters Patent to be written to give all her children HRH Prince/Princess titles as well, and she was very upset when that did not happen.

I think (but I do not know for sure) that Archie and Lili will become HRH Prince/Princess when Charles ascends the throne, as they will then be the male line grandchildren of the current monarch, in the same position as Beatrice and Eugenie today. From all the rumours about the titles and Meghan really wanting them, I wonder if the monarchy under Charles will restrict titles to the main line only, restrict the HRH to the main line only, or something like that, and that is why Meghan is making such a fuss about it.

I can certainly do a reading on the titles and see what is behind all this fuss by Meghan. :)

Why were so many of Harold's cousins including current Kiwi/Māori BRF family members in LoS - excluded from the Harkle's wedding?

Hi All,

One of the issues that came up at the time of the Harkle's wedding - was that apart from only Harry's closest cousins - such as Princess Eugenie and Beatrice, were invited to the wedding, a large part of his family was also excluded. As we know - the wedding was largely lavishly paid for by (now) King Charles III - and there are many traditions and an extremely long standing one is that the wider cousinage are invited to Royal events. This caused quite a lot of upset apparently. The late Queen Elizabeth II was very close to her cousins, for example, such as the Duke of Gloucester and his wife, who are active working Royals, and their children and grandchildren, who represent the Queen and put in many decades of hard work to supporting her, and they had a close relationship.Great Granddaughter of King George V, Daughter of Duke of Gloucester (Queen's Cousin), Lady Dalvina Windsor, her Kiwi/Māori husband Gary Lewis, and their two children (both in the LoS) were excluded from the Harkle's 2018 wedding.

For example, the late Queen was close to her cousins, such as for example the Duke of Gloucester, who is a full time working Royal, some of whom live on the Royal estate - and so they are always invited to, and seen at important Royal events - for example, at the chapel at wedding of Prince William and Princess Catherine, the Trooping of the Colour, the Queen's funeral and so on.Granddaughter of the Duke of Gloucester, Senna Kowhai Lewis - with her cousins Prince George and Princess Charlotte at Trooping the colour.

There were many celebrities - some of which openly admitted to having met the Harkles once, who were sitting in the innermost chapel. In total 600 guests were invited to the ceremony and reception. They also invited over 2,000 other individuals - some random members of the public - were invited to attend outside the chapel at Windsor castle.

As a New Zealander/ person from Aotearoa, I find it upsetting and disrespectful that our 'kiwi'/Māori Royals were excluded from the Harkle's wedding - especially since it was a public event and they are normally invited to all the public events.

I also find it frustrating that MM would claim to be the first 'person of colour' marrying into the BRF. While there are also historical examples this, there are already current members of the BRF from different cultures. For example, the family of Lady Davina Windsor (who was born 10th in line to the throne) - i.e. the same current place as Beatrice's first born.

In 2004, Lady Davina Windsor married handsome Māori bulding contractor, master builder, sheep shearer (and surfer) Gary Lewis (he is also nephew to famous author Whiti Ihimaera). They were married for many years. I really liked how they both seemed so down to earth and hard working, also how they named their two children traditional Māori names (Tane Mahuta - named after the sacred Kauri tree) and Senna Kowhai - Kowhai is a beautiful Spring blossom, who are also in the line of succession.

Long before anyone had heard of MM, the Queen happily gave her consent to the marriage, and apparently, he was widely liked and warmly welcomed and described by his parents in law, as a wonderful catch.

Sadly, the cultural differences became too much, and they aren't together anymore (separating in 2019), but they seem to be amicably separated. The family are still part of all official Royal events for instance, the late Queen's funeral and Trooping the Color.

The whole family seems so normal and nice, it's not easy to find information as they certainty didn't seem to court publicity. I still think it was not nice/disrespectful of the Harkles to exclude them (and the other cousins) from the wedding.

It does also make me wonder if the Harkle's decision to exclude them from their wedding was due to the fact that it pointed out that MM is most definitely not the first person of mixed heritage to marry into the BRF (which already includes family members with British family royal blood).

Wonderful news yesterday about HRH Princess Beatrice and Edo being pregnant. I loved how they chose to go the traditional way and have the pregnancy announcement put up on the gates of Buckingham Palace. For me it ties in to the traditional wedding they had.

What is annoying however and I know they do it to get clicks and reads etc but, does every single story about any member of the BRF have to devolve into a story about Ginge and Cringe?

Take yesterday’s Mirror for example. They did a piece about Bea and Edo deciding to make the traditional announcement in comparison to Eugenie and Jack who shared a photo on Instagram and Ginge and Cringe announcing their pregnancy with the “staged” black and white photo of her laying with her head in his lap. NEARLY HALF OF THE ARTICLE were about the plebrities formerly known as royal. Why? Why do we need to know the desperate duo released a (and I quote or maybe paraphrase) “beautiful black and white photo of the Duchess gazing lovingly into her husband’s face” or be told about her beautiful bump? Are the press really scared of her following the ANL ruling they’ve started spouting this shite? And why oh why oh why do we have to hear from the sad sap who took the photos telling the world they joined Ginge and Cringe’s love story from the day they got married to now when they are due to have a daughter? Who FUCKING CARES?

Please tabloids, daily’s whatever, tell us about the members of the family who haven’t cut and run and then ridiculed, maligned, lied and basically abused the family and country who gave them everything.

Not a single story about any member of the BRF needs to include even the smallest reference to this privacy loving pair and if as journalists your story isn’t long enough or interesting enough without raising the spectre know as the Montecito Markles then you’re in the wrong job.

If Meghan and Harry attend family events in the future (like church service for queens birthday or even next years jubilee celebrations) how is that going to work? Like are they pulling up with the other non-working members of the royal family who are invited to those things and show up an hour and half before the senior members, or like how they use to shortly before will and Kate?

I know the commonwealth service had some drama with Will and Kate having to alter when they come in to accommodate for them. That, and the future headaches of military outfits or balcony appearances.. I really don’t think anyone thought through the ripple effects of what happens when you leave.

I was wondering about this the other day & I’m not sure.

Precedence isn’t determined by the working status of the royal - it’s determined mostly by their place in the line of succession (or that of their spouse) and also whether they’re a blood royal or married in. The royal family has 2 orders of precedence - the “official” public one and one for private which happens behind closed doors and we never see and is strictly reserved for the women (as the status of married-in women changes depending on whether their spouse is with them or not).

When Edward VIII abdicated, his place in the order of precedence shifted to the last of his brothers rather than the first (even though he was eldest) - but he wasn’t REMOVED from the order. (Although, to be fair this wasn’t really tested as he didn’t return to England often and I don’t believe ever attended familial events other than his mother’s funeral.)

Harry is already the youngest of the 2 siblings, so nothing would be affected here.

So, theoretically the order of precedence hasn’t been altered and thus when there are family events (Trooping, weddings, etc) Harry and Meghan will arrive in their usual positions.

I can’t see them taking Harry (& by extension Meghan) out of the order of precedence since Harry is the son of a future monarch. But more importantly, the general public don’t know how all this works and likely wouldn’t understand why it’s happening and it would be spun to be a massive slight against The Sussexes rather than something they basically asked for.

That said, there’s also a private order of precedence for the women due to whether their spouse is present - princesses of the blood rank higher in private than married in royals. For example, Camilla is 2nd in public but 4th in private after The Queen, The Princess Royal, and Princess Alexandra. Catherine and Meghan are afforded their husbands’ positions of 3rd and 4th in public (removing the Cambridge children as they don’t attend events solo) but are below the aforementioned 4 AND below Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie in private. (*This will be revised again when the Cambridge children are older since Catherine will never be required to curtsey to any of her children until George is King. So she would outrank her children in public and private until George is King and then he will outrank her [Dowager Queen at this point] and she will curtsey to him.)

I COULD see Meghan and Harry being removed from the private order - ie: no one at all has to curtesy to them ever in private. Or bouncing them down to just below the lowest ranking HRH (Princess Anne, The Princess Royal).
