is there a plan to promote activity? for a place with 70 members, it's really quiet

Our roleplay community has always been somewhat quiet in public and on the timeline, unless there are certain events taking place or if a birthday occurs. We account this to the positive absence of drama, IC issues, and/or even OOC issues. Most are instigated via the secrets group where members will often vent and air out their controversial opinions and feelings. This can be a somewhat sensitive area, though, as some have found the secrets to be excessively negative and "drama-filled". So, we refrain from posting any that are deemed too malicious. However, there is typically a lot of activity and interactions going on "behind the scenes", off of the visible timeline and away from the public eye; like in DM's, private threads, private posts, private groups, etc.

Activity tends to fluctuate per day of the week, and even per time of the year. Obviously weekends and the summer times experience more activity as opposed to other times.

To note, because we require a full-lit/novella/multi-para style of writing in this roleplay, that means that the large majority of our muns/writers at this roleplay are in the later-college, to working class, age bracket (25+). Therefore, most of our members are working during the daytime and week days, or are attending classes and doing college work.

Another point to note is that we have members of the roleplay from all over the world. We have members from Greece, Brazil, Indonesia, Philippines, South Korea, and more. This effectively means that time zone differences are a thing, and when it is day time for you, it could be the middle of the night for other members, hence why they might not be online.

We have only two admins/owners of the roleplay who also work full-time jobs as well as participate in their own personal social activities and hobbies, outside of the roleplay and in real life. So, people can get pretty busy at times. This does not mean that you, yourself, cannot initiate activity and interact with other members, though. We encourage activity whenever possible, and enforce it with weekly activity checks that take place, every Sunday (unless otherwise stated), as well as monthly to bi-monthly followers/following lists checks.

i love it when bad is very specifically a good roleplayer by giving other people good prompts. like casually bringing up wilbur now to tallulah. or when he put missa in the petting zoo. or all those times he Tormented the Lesbians so they could protect each other from him. its just so !!!! I love watching roleplayers be considerate of other roleplayers and gleefully hand over something they Know the other person's character can react to. i've seen cellbit do it, too (that time he handed his knife to bbh. oh my god). it's not a rare thing, and it's possible to be a good roleplayer without keeping that sort of considerate back and forth in mind, but its one of my favourite things to notice. foolish does it too, sometimes- i haven't watched him much, but i did take note of when he Made Sure to bring jaiden along with him on a cucurucho quest. and basically every interaction he had with bad when the eggs were missing. its just so so good
