you love trips with your boys, but you have to admit, sometimes the open road can leave you completely fed up. so you need to be calmed.

based off of the jj x jombee road trip au by @princessbrunette !

it's been hours since the last rest stop. the car is hot and stuffy, even with all the windows open. everything is too much. right now you're laying in the back of the twinkie, not even strapped into any of the haphazard seats.

jj looks back from the passenger seat, tsking before reaching back to tap your arm, “gotta sit up, not safe like that, you know it” he chastises. you huff, complying anyway. if jj’s concerned about it then it must be quite dangerous if not completely fatal.

“when are we stopping again?” you moan, stretching your legs out in front of you. “I'm so bored. and hot. and tired and… ugh!”

john b looks back, “do you need a bit of help calming down?” he speaks in that ever knowing tone, which only makes you more irritated for some reason, though you nod grumpily. he chuckles at your answer, “alright, just wait a few minutes n’ we���ll do that for you.” 

about five minutes later john b pulls over, letting jj take his place in the driver's seat before climbing into the back with you. “okay, come here.” he beckons you to come straddle his lap where he's sitting on the floor against one of the benches. you crawl over just as the car starts to move again. 

you frown, “what are we doin’?” you ask, the question inciting a sound of amusement from your brunette boyfriend. he raises an eyebrow and gives a distinct look that clearly says ‘guess!’. and you give in, because it is pretty obvious.

“gotta get you calmed down sweetheart, you're gonna drive yourself crazy like this.” he speaks as he starts to guide your hips in movement. he moves your dress up to expose your panties before pulling you back down on his jean clad crotch.

you let out a small whimper upon the initial contact. though you're naturally relaxing into him, head falling down onto his shoulder. he hums in praise as he continues to aid your movements. “there you go, that's it.” he strokes the back of your neck gently, turning to kiss the side of your head. “doin’ soo good.”

you moan and whine softly at the pleasure you feel in your core. “thankyou, jombee.” you murmur, clinging to him as you continue to roll your hips. you love that john b always knows exactly what you need, and exactly how to give it to you.

A Very Late Road Trip AU Update

Hello everyone! Yes, it's been quite a while since @toonzxy, @joyfuladorable, and I have posted anything about this AU, but I promise the story is still in the works! To keep you all in the loop, we decided to make a sort of update post for the progress of the story.

Read to the end for a little teaser!

Okay, so, Book 1 is currently at 51k words. I promise I am writing it as quickly as I possibly can, but I had a pretty busy summer and am currently in my senior year of university, so it's safe to say that I don't have too much free time on my hands at the moment. I know we said we'd try to start posting it by July/August, but as of now, I don't think this book will be finished before the end of the year. Once we finish writing it, we still have to go through the entire process of editing the thing, which is a pretty daunting task. At the rate the story is going, Book 1 will probably end up being at least 100k words long.

In other news, toonzy and joyfuladorable are currently in the works of a comic! You all clearly enjoyed the comics released earlier this year, so they've decided to create a comic that will run alongside the fic but will have its own minor changes to the story. It won't be too different, but it'll be just different enough for it to stay entertaining if you want to read them both.

Most of our time has been dedicated to world building, which, admittedly, is taking a lot more time than we thought it would. It's also been a lot of rewriting previous plot points so that the continuity makes sense overall. All three of us REALLY hate plot holes, so there's been quite a bit of compromising on all fronts. All in all, it's been a lot of work for three people who not only have normal adult lives, but also have other projects on our hands that keep grabbing our attention. This has been our top priority though, I promise.
