In honor of being almost done with season one of 2003 (please don’t ask how many episodes I’ve been watching in a day), have one of my favorite parts of the episode:

The funny thing about 2012! Leo’s window treatment is that he probably can’t describe it without feeling like he’s trying to one-up the other turtles’ trauma.

I mean he:

Gets his home invaded by the Kraang

Has to abandon his Master Splinter to lead his brothers away from danger

Gets separated from his brothers during an alien invasion

Gets jumped by the footbots, Shredder’s henchmen men, and the Shredder himself while separated from his brothers.

Fights tooth and nail to get away, ends up slipping and taking a plunge into cold water, and then gets shredded by the shredder

Is finally flung through the window and is knocked out cold

Is in a coma for THREE MONTHS because of this incident

Wakes up with NYC effectively taken over by aliens, Master Splinter is MIA (possibly dead in his mind), has an absolutely shattered knee (F- the ‘it’s all in my head’ crap), and he can’t even recognize his own voice.

AND on top of ALL THAT. He has to go through all the creepy/weird stuff (which was basically just horror movie plot after horror movie plot) that happened during the farm arc while recovering from his injuries.

But I mean this is kinda assuming he’d actually willingly talk about this stuff and (let’s be real here) he probably wouldn’t. As in true Leo fashion he’d just dismiss his own situation as “not that bad.”

[I.D. Three panel comic using TMNT 2003 Baxter Stockman, ROTTMNT April, and April's mom Mrs. O'Neil.

The first panel shows Baxter sitting on a blue rug. He wears a dull red sweater, khakis, fuzzy socks, and wire-rimmed glasses. April, a toddler wearing a yellow t-shirt, overalls, yellow socks, and her hair in two afro puffs runs in his direction holding a toy plane. April yells with excitement, "Mr. Stockman! Duck!" Baxter raises an eyebrow and says "That is a plane."

The second panel shows Mrs. O'Neil washing a plate. She wears an orange shirt and her hair is in an afro, held back by a yellow head band. She looks shocked, with a large exclamation point by her head, as someone yells "Ow!!" from offscreen.

The third panel has Baxter say from offscreen, "Carol, your daughter just hit me with her toy plane. (ow.)" Mrs. O'Neil smiles and says "She did tell you to duck, Baxter." From offscreen, April cackles. End I.D.]

I like the idea of Baxter being a family friend/neighbor to the O'Neil's, but also being just awful with kids lol. Also. Very Important Note: April is doing that unhinged shrieky-laugh that toddlers do at destruction. Smacking someone with a toy plane is the height of entertainment to her.

After a nice nap, all I can think of right now is the Turtles basking. Again.

Like April 03 just finding the Turtles sleeping in a sun beam in her apartment.

In 12 I can just picture them napping out at the farmhouse (well same with 03)

18 might just stretch out on a rooftop, or a custom basking room.

MM/TOTTMNT might just bask during lunch or outdoor P.E.

I don't have good examples for the others, but they would be similar to above, maybe.

Though whether basking is napping or just enjoying the sun is up to your imagination.

Anyways, saw this trend going around on Twitter, where artists were drawing this crappy ai imagine, and decided that I wanted to draw it as Mikey and klunk ofc.

losing my mind imagining a TMNT x Ninjago crossover ohhhhh my gosh it's literally perfect (in my brain it's either '03 or '18 TMNT)

They're both a group of 4 ninjas (5 counting April / Nya!!!) with a sensei and omg omg omg

Could you imagine Donnie and Zane??? The conversations??? Donnie would lose his mind over this robot ninja kid

And Leo and Kai, Mikey and Jay, and Raph and Cole!!! Those pairings just feel so so so perfect

And then April and Nya can hang out and Splinter and Sensei Wu can yap and gahhhh it's perfect
