HOLY SH*t GUYS! They’re bringing back rottmnt and Usagi’s coming!!! JKGDGSHFLG- He looks so Good!!!

Seriously though, sorry. I’m just quite proud of my Usagi design! It took a WHILE to figure out.

Chronologically he doesn’t appear til late in my “Get in Dum-Dums, We're Going Vandalizing!" fic (I'm writing Turtles Forever II), so I’ll probably just make it a separate fic in a series, something I’ve been contemplating on for a couple “episodes”. For now I’ll continue to develop his character and that action-packed story and I won’t be happy til it feels canon.

Personality wise my Usagi is a combination Miyamoto and Yuichi Usagi. I managed this by making him a dramatic guy that constantly tries to look and act cool, and somehow succeeds with his skills. “I! Am Usagi Yojimbo!” *points his sword.

Since he initially grew up in a more… traditional environment until he met his friends, he “sounds wise”. But his act quickly falls apart! Cause… ugh… he’s a dense idiot with ADHD…

He attacks first, yet has made a few “enemies” into friends! Like Chizu. All cause he has a good heart and can be too trusting. Snapping from “serious” to “way too happy” on a dime. He’s too confident, reckless, and he loves one liners and “bad jokes”. Hobbies include “spear fishing”, yo-yo-ing, swords, and karaoke and dancing.

What’s most interesting is his relationship to everyone. Most notably, Casey Jr. After all, Usagi has his Sensei’s cloak and sword. (Also Donnie is happy for Leo and Usagi, and supports them. SUE ME.)

I won’t be happy til I perfect a dynamic, not just with Leo, but his brothers as well. I’m a character based writer, and I try my best to mimic canon!

As for Usagi’s relationship with Leo, it’s an interesting scenario... They get along PERFECTLY. TOO perfectly. They’re both amazed at the other. Too alike, it’s like they’re made for each other. Usagi gives Leo the much needed confidence boost he needs. However, as Usagi loves dangerous, reckless plans, he threatens to set Leo’s character arc back a stage as he ropes him into his antics. Combine that with what’s to come for poor Usagi, and tension forms between the two enough to raise blades. That’s the plan at least. Such a shame too, in terms of guilt. There’s no one else that understands so precisely how the other feels…

What’s more. He and Edo Japan have a few surprises, you’ll have to see.

A friend of mine mentioned once that the 03 turtles might've actually been some yellow bellied terrapins because they are the most common species found in the southeastern region of the USA, and are fairly common breed of turtle to purchase. Plus they kinda look like them and I really like the idea that each itteration has its own species (87 for box turtles, 12 for diamond-backs and mirage for red-eared sliders). So I thought I would draw Donny finding a yellow bellied in the wild.

Imagine any Donatello hiding multiple speakers around the lair(s), and just trolling the others with random music.

Like Donnie sees Leo and Usagi talking and subtly playing 'lovey-dovey' anime music near them. Just waiting to see if they notice.

There are some failed scare pranks, but just playing a scare cord every now and then is enough. Though Raph is highly likely to just punch a wall to find the speaker.

Mostly there's just Lo-Fi or calming background music playing, but it varies depending on Donatellos mood.

If nothing else it's used for 'Epic Entry Music', and soundboard effects.The others do notice, but don't necessarily tell Donnie to stop. Splinter just lightly encourages him not to play the music to loud.

Kinda funny that the revised version of the 2003 theme is like "Leonardo's always in control" when he's definitely not but okay. Maybe he had a say in what his introductory lyric would be because that's just what Leo wants us to think ^^"

Here are mine from number one to number eight are below the cut:

I hold 2012 TMNT very close to my heart, since I grew up with it. And, I just love this Shredder so much. Kevin Michael Richardson did so well as him. But, by far, my favorite moment was when he was interviewing Don Vizioso (I had to Google him. I hated him so much.) and just sliced the candles without it being seen by the naked eye. Just, so badass. Can't even rank out of 10, he's beyond a 10/10.

Much like with 2012! Shredder, I hold this film (Batman vs. the TMNT) very close to my heart. It just brings a smile to my face every time I see a clip appear on my Youtube or when I watch it. To me, this is a very excellent portrayal of Shredder, his evil and pride just shining perfectly in his actions. By the way... his voice? OMG YES. He's like a 20/10. Hot mf.

I was introduced to 1987 Shredder through 2012, and when I saw how goofy he was, I just had to see some of the classic show's episodes. And when I tell you I fell in love with this cheese grater, I mean it. He is just so funny yet dangerous at the same time, and I love it. Though, I do love 80s cartoons despite being born after those years, so I guess it makes sense. Again, 20/10. Loveable goofball.

Okay, I know a lot of people do not like ROTTMNT! Shredder because he's kind of... minor when it comes to the show? I guess? I don't know. I love his design and how feral he was when brought in the series. The way he towers over the turtles and fought like a true monster, which, in my opinion, matches with Shredder's overall character base. I do wish he had more of a role in the show, but, he did his part and he did it in style. Solid 9/10.

Again, I know a lot of people don't really like 2003! Shredder. And, I understand that. His whole reveal as a Krang was a horrible move and I despise that so much. But, before that whole 'Krang-Shredder' thing, to me, he was a pretty good version of Shredder. I love his whole 'emo' theme, it just makes me go: "Oh! Bad past, love it. Slay, evil king!" Anyways, ignore my weirdness there. To me he is a 9/10 before reveal, and 3/10 after reveal.

This may come as a shock to many, but I was never a huge fan of the 90s TMNT movies, I don't know why, they just never hooked me in like the previous shows have. But, Shredder is a decent villain in these films. He comes in with his evilness and he does his job well. To me, he's a decent 7/10. Not horrible, not fantastic.

I do enjoy the Bayverse movies from time to time, and I do enjoy Bay's iterations of the Turtles and other characters to a degree, but, I am not a huge fan of his Shredder. To me, his design is so... overdone. I like the simpler designs of the other Shredders, so seeing this one just makes me go: "WTF." He looks more like a Transformers x Human character than a human in armor. He's a 4/10. His evilness is pretty good, but the rest of his character is not that good.

My final Shredder is the comic version. Now, I never really read the comics, so that may play a part into this. I do like his design, simple, yet good. Shredder's character is pretty well written, by what I've seen. But, he died really early, so we never really got a big 'evolution' on him there. For his character portrayal, appearance, lack of appearances in the comic, and my minor amount of reading on the comics, 4/10.

I'm laughing so damn hard at this

I would love for there to be a tmnt villain who at first is just going after them like every other one does, but then after having a Realization that they are Actual Teenagers it's revealed that the dude's got a strict Don't Hurt Kids line to their moral code.

Thing is, they still keep trying to do whatever villainy they first aimed for it's just that, instead of directly fighting the gang, they keep creating increasingly elaborate non-lethal traps to keep the guys busy while the villain does their plot and just bails if the guys show up early.
