Allow me to present to you: Paolo!

Paolo is a new story (and a new OC) that I wrote. It was originally a spinoff of my other story Adam before becoming its own thing and I really wanted to share it, so I am! :D

Paolo's a little turtle tot created by Bishop that the turtles eventually found. He's as mute as Adam is and very, very traumatized. He's just a little round guy who needs love and cuddles. 💚

I'll be posting this story every Saturday until completion, and don't worry, this will not delay Adam's release as I am already done writing it! ^^

I've been wanting to share this little guy for so long now, and I've already got a bank of doodles that I'm just dying to share so get ready to see them under the #Paolo AU and the #Paolo AU art tags!

This was just supposed to be a simple mindless mirrored drawing to practice vector art and somehow it became this massive 2003 eulogy with tons of references everywhere. I'm really happy with how it came out! :D

I can't tell you the amount of hours I spent on this. If you can find all the references... I'm gonna be amazed honestly because there are so many, from logos, to patterns to even colors. I'd be there all day if I tried describing them all, but I do hope you'll check it out! ^^

Adam update

Adam woke up in surprise when he was sneezed directly onto. He almost fell off of his hammock before Raph caught him at the last second, bringing him back to safety.

“Sorry.” Raph apologized. “Didn’t mean ta wake ya up.”

“Are you okay?” Adam asked him.

“Yeah yeah.” Raph replied, though the stuffiness in his nose didn’t seem to agree with him. “I’ll be fine.” He insisted.

Adam didn’t argue, but now that he was awake, he could see that Raph seemed cold, shivering lightly, his breathing rougher than usual.

He slid down the hammock, taking his box of tissues and stealing a few for himself before giving the box to Raph, who instantly used a few of them to clear up his beak as much as possible. Adam left his garbage bin on his bed where Raph could access it before adding a few more blankets over him.

Raph turned to his back, and he could now see he looked pretty terrible. Clear bags under his eyes and age lines across his face betrayed his exhaustion. He sneezed again before slumping back in the hammock.

“Shell.” He mumbled. “Now I’m never gonna hear da end of it.”

Anyone ordered a snack?

We've got a spicy Raff-a-rito, a coffee flavored Pan-a-tello, little Bun-nardo and an eggscellent Egg-ange-toast. Take your pick!

“I hope you two aren’t intending on going outside tonight.” Leo told them. “There’s a snowstorm apparently going on right now. A pretty big one too.”

“Ya think we can’t handle a little snow?” Raph asked while rolling his eyes. “We’ll be fine.”

Leo squinted his eyes disapprovingly at them.

“We can do this another day.” Adam suggested to Raph.

“Nan, we’ll be fine I tell ya.” Raph assured, wrapping his arm around Adam’s shoulder and pushing him further. “We’ll jus’ make sure ta be well dressed ‘n stuff.”

Adam gave an unsure look to Leo over his shoulder. He didn’t want to disobey him or go against his wishes. But Leo eventually sighed, waving at them to go.

“Just… be careful.” He relented. “And tell us if there’s any problem.”

“Sure, sure.” Raph waved off.

“Come ooooon, bro! You always say yes to Raph.” Mickey insisted, his hands tied together with the best puppy eyes he could muster. “Imagine how fun it’d be to skate around the rooftops.”

Adam sighed. He’d been going outside quite a lot lately, and between that and the train working, he was actually quite tired. But how could he ever say no to those eyes?

He barely had time to nod before Mickey jumped at him with a tight hug. He returned it with a small smile.

“Sweet! Thanks, bro!” He almost shouted in his ears. “Let’s go!”

He was out of the room before Adam could even blink.
