i wish they could've done a filler episode on the alternate universe we see in road to ninja that wasn't for tenten's infinite tsukuyomi dream... i like the concept- an episode of her being self aware and trying to escape but ultimately succumbing to everything she's wanted, there's some kind of horror to it. but i doubt creepy neji, mean hinata, playboy sasuke and a cold naruto whose name isn't even naruto anymore are part of her greatest desires is all i'm saying 😭

If we are talking about Alternate Universes, I think that Road to Ninja is a good example of this, since most of the characters had different personalities from the original ones, with some of them also even having different appearances. Like, Sasuke, Sai, Team 8, Team 10, Team Guy, Kakashi and Guy had different personalities from their original selfs.

Yes Road to Ninja is a more standard example of an AU.
