"The event of theater reminds me of sand painting; a ritual intended to lead to a higher consciousness. These monks spend huge amounts of time making these elaborate, amazing mandalas in the sand by the sea. And the ocean washes them away."

*****SPOILER ALERT!!!*****
If you have not had the chance to watch this movie on Netflix yet, we highly recommend it.  This post may give away some details about the content and ending.  You may want to watch it before reading this. Here it is on Netflix. These are some hidden lessons and secrets that we can take away about life and spirituality from the movie:
Spirituality and religion have their limitations. In the movie, the main character’s parents have been turned into monsters and are spellbound, hence the title.  She seeks known oracles in the land to help her undo the spell. The symbolism behind these two oracles is telling.  One is wrapped in a robe with stars, the moon and planets that is gold (In Vedic Astrology, astrology is called Jyotish which means “the light”).  The other has a purple robe. (Purple is represented by higher wisdom, the crown chakra, royalty and the divine across cultures and religions.)  Both have the symbol of a trident on the front of their robes.  The trident is a symbol within many religious and spiritual traditions.  It is the staff held by Neptune, the god of the sea and water.  Planet Neptune is said to be the lord of the zodiac sign Pisces in Western Astrology, whose symbol is two fish going in opposite directions.  The trident represents the trine, the Holy trinity that we find in Christianity, Ancient Egypt (Osiris, Isis and Horus).  This trio is in many belief systems.  The two oracles represent the priests, pastors, saints, guides, seers, sorcerers and the like- all who embody spirituality and religion through Neptune.
Unlike some of the representatives that we often meet throughout the course of our lives who desire to make us believe spirituality and religion is the answer to everything, they were honest with the young girl.  They told her that the magic that was put on her parents was not a kind that they would be able to undo.  Though spirituality and religion are a conduit, it will not allow us to escape the effects of our deeds in this life or past lives.  They proceeded to enlighten her on the path that must be taken and how to work through to the end to undo the curse:  She must follow the light, but along the way, they cautioned her about the dark feelings. The young girl insisted that she had none.  They replied that everyone has dark feelings, and they advised her that it is about how we deal with them that matters.
2. We cannot escape our karma. After arriving at the lake that was pure light, the parents were unable to get into it with their daughter.  The lake held up a mirror to them: it was a replay of what they were doing when the dark mass of energy overtook them.  They were enthralled in anger during an argument with one another.  They had more than just a disagreement. They had become monsters!
Perhaps that morning they said their prayers, did their rituals, went to mass or service and then this moment occurred.  Maybe they even had ancestors and family members and friends praying for them.  Their actions were what brought them to this point.  As the oracles had warned and the pure light was showing them, it was they who had the key – a renewal of their energy from the inside to transmute their actions was necessary to align with their true selves.
3. Dark magic works, but not for the reason we think. Have you ever heard someone say to raise your vibration? Wallowing in darker feelings and allowing anger, pain, resentment and sadness to consume us pushes us into becoming our lower natures.  This is where the ability to harm and afflict resonates and exists.  If you are not on this vibration, these energies and powers do not have power over you.  Some of us must work harder than others to raise our vibration daily.  We are here to work through karma which often transpires in our daily life and the events that arise, if we are attached to it all to make us happy, will create dark feelings within us.  We must rise above these feelings by working through the energy and transmuting them.  This is where spirituality and religion can provide the inspiration and the tools to help us get our minds in a better place.  Surrounding ourselves with inspirational people and harmony within and without has enormous benefits as well.
4. Listen to your intuition. The young girl refused to give up on her parents.  We may have people in our lives who are ‘spellbound’ because they have allowed dark feelings to take over their entire being, making them someone less than they truly are capable of being.  Obviously, it is not always in our best interest to stay the course with people while they work through this, but when you feel like it is your duty, listen to yourself.  Having people in your own life that will not give up on you when you have your seasons or moments can be extremely helpful.  We must be mindful, that we all must do the work.  Though we can be patient and wait, offer advice or comfort, it is up to the person as well as us, if we are the ones giving into dark feelings, that have the power to overcome.
We hope you enjoyed this post.  Thank you for supporting our work.  Perhaps you will like this post: Neptune Through the Houses.
Namaste…

Mist Mixing - the E'liyai Foá
Kissing on the lips in Misterian culture was not only sacred, but also dangerous - an act which was often the culmination of many months, if not years, of frequent proximity. This was, of course, due to Mist - when inhaled directly, at its highest concentration, the effects can be much more significant. For example, being present in a room filled with Kumo's Mist can induce sleep but not instantaneously - but, if he were to breathe directly into your airways, the effect would be comparable to popculture chloroform.* That is, instant loss of consciousness - due to both chemical and magical reasons.
Misterians did develop tolerance to one another's Mist, however it required time. "Mist mixing" in kissing was seen as the ultimate gesture of bonding - combining the breath of one's soul, and its melody, with that of another's. It was known in Misterian as "E'liyai foá" and was performed in romantic and platonic "bonding-for-life" personal rituals.
Taking into oneself the songs of those who influenced one's life the most - and, in religious belief, carrying some of their Mist within oneself til death.

It irritates me so much when people are suddenly all on board with being religious intolerant when it comes to Shifting because ‘It was made up on TikTok’ when that’s not even truth. Practices similar to shifting have been around for centuries in various diverse religions.
Where are some of them:
Shamanism :: In many indigenous cultures, shamans enter altered states of consciousness, often through rituals involving drumming, chanting, or the use of entheogens (psychoactive substances). In these altered states, shamans believe they can travel to different realms or realities to gain wisdom, heal, or communicate with spirits.
Buddhism :: Certain advanced meditation practices in Buddhism, particularly within Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhism, involve visualizing detailed and elaborate divine realms and deities. Practitioners believe that through these visualizations, they can shift their consciousness to these divine states, leading to big spiritual insights and enlightenment.
Hinduism :: The practice of Yoga, particularly the more esoteric branches such as Kundalini and Raja Yoga, includes techniques that aim to transcend reality. Advanced practitioners might experience states of consciousness that feel like entering different realms or realities. Additionally, the concept of "Maya" in Hindu philosophy describes the world as an illusion, and their spiritual practice aims to see through this illusion to the ultimate reality, Brahman.
Mysticism :: Many mystical traditions across religions, including Sufism (Islamic mysticism), Christian mysticism, and Jewish Kabbalah, involve practices that aim to transcend the ordinary world and experience a direct, personal connection with the divine. These experiences can be described as shifting to a higher, more profound reality.
And these are just some I found within minutes of research, there’s many more. I don’t expect any tolerance from more ‘conservative’ people, but to see youtubers/influencers who built their whole public image around being an ‘ally’ and ‘against religious intolerance’ and then backtracking completely because suddenly it’s okay since ‘it’s only making fun of teenagers’ without bothering to do any proper research shows very well that their support is purely performative.
Pick a side, you can’t say you’re against religious intolerance and then think it’s okay to make fun of centuries-old practices just because a younger audience is popularizing it on social media.

Key Magick
Tumblr media
Keys have very specific magickal symbology and are of great importance in many practices. Keys are representational of unlocking, road opening, wisdom, protection, higher consciousness, different realms/dimensions, and ancient knowledge.
To use a key in your magickal practice you must first assign it a purpose. This can be done through energy work, chanting, meditation, etc. Once this is complete you can keep the enchanted key on your person, your altar, hung over a doorway, use it in spellwork, etc.
Uses:
• Wear a key as jewelry to discover wisdom.
• A gold key wards against the evil eye.
• Three keys on a chain bring health, wealth, and love.
• A key will bring good luck as long as it does not fit any lock you own.
• Wear an old key to discover a secret or find a lost object.
• Keys as jewelry promote fertility.
• A door key placed upside down near the bed will banish nightmares and ensure a peaceful night's sleep.
• Touch a key to each door and window while willing away negative forces, then hang by a red string over the hearth.
• The clinking sound of keys may emulate the ringing of a bell and can be used to cleanse a space.
• Wear a key to earn the auspices of gatekeeper spirits.
• A key may also be buried at a crossroads with an offering, asking for the doors to fortune be unlocked.
• Keys can be used to remove mental blockages and aid meditation.
• If the key has a padlock, it can be used in binding rituals. To bind a lover, have them secretly walk over a padlock and then lock it out of their sight.

Writing the Occult: quick notes for non-practicing hobby authors and other nerds🕯️
Tumblr media
Hey. Real talk. If you're writing about occult rituals, magic, the works, whatever, there are some great ways to clean up your act and get some better, more aware accuracy in there. A lot of stuff in the wider consciousness of pop culture is kind of...not correct, or, uh. Should be something you're aware of. For instance:
G*psy is still a slur! No, Romani people aren't more likely to be fortune tellers than anyone else. Quit it with the weird stereotypes. The "g*psy fortune teller" thing hasnt even been on trend since the early 1900s. Move on.
"Voodoo" dolls are a racist perspective of an African-derived traditional religious practice. Vodun is a religion. It's not even a gone or far away religion either; Vodun and Santería have followers and priests all over the US, as do other ATRs. Since. You know. Slavery. The word you're probably looking for is "poppet", which is the term for the tool itself (tiny cloth doll for magical use) as opposed to, like, a whole religion.
A wendigo isn't a catch-all cannibalistic creature; it's part of a wider religious worldview of the Algonquian peoples. Native people have requested that you Stop Talking Abou That— yes, even asking that one YouTuber to Stop That, not that he seems to care. White people seem to cannibalize other people all the time anyway, so I don't see why there's a huge need for a Native scapegoat... There are other supernatural creatures and shapeshifters that eat humans. Pick anything else.
A lot of higher-level occult rituals as writ are just. Straight up antisemitic! If you're writing rituals and your magical language of choice is in Hebrew...hey. Stop that. Same thing goes for "elites who eat babies/drink blood." A some of it is a clumsily handled metaphor for the cannibalistic nature of having an upper class in a society, but a lot of it really is just dressed-up antisemitism in a trench coat. If you're looking up real rituals for worldbuilding...FYI, you may want to glance again before adding it to your work.
Just because ten dudes are standing next to each other in order to do a weird ritual doesn't make them a cult. That's just a ritual. Cults have more specific requirements; ie, whether or not there's religious abuse going on. You can make your weird spooky org have religious abuse, but if they're just, like, high schoolers, they're probably just novice occultists who occasionally hang out together.
I haven't seen anyone use "spirit animal" in a couple years, so that's great! Native people have also requested that we Stop That. Spirit Animal is a specific religious concept we don't have to tread on. Think of a synonym for the concept you're trying to convey; don't steal a word that's already in use for a religious practice. (Same thing goes for totem FYI.)
Hallucinogens often make you throw up. Like. A lot. People do certainly attribute religious visions to them, but also like drink a lot of water and keep a bucket nearby, because the whole scenario is just super disorienting. Most spiritual circles who utilize similar substances will have a trip sitter (someone sober to call 911 if there's an emergency) if they've got the resources.
Making up rituals for your story is totally cool. People invent new rituals all the time. There isn't a standard to be held to on that front unless you outright name a real life religious or occult group they're meant to be part of; THEN people will want standards. Until then, though, you're probably good.
Most TYPES of rituals have, like, a label, though. A ward prevents something from entering a protected space, an invocation brings something forth from within you, a banishment pushes something away from you, a consecration makes something sacred...A lot of these may be obvious to you from pop culture, but if you're going to try and make a character an expert on magic, adding the vocabulary to their lexicon makes their expertise more believable.
There are a ton of ways to exorcise ghosts! Basically every religion has, like, ten of them. If you want to add a little extra flavor on banishing/preventing evil spirits, google [character's religion/culture] [ghosts/spirits] to see what sort of flavor you can add to their specific person.
Occultists and witches and wizards and priests who do magic argue all the time. ALL the time. Interpersonal drama is real and it can Get You.
It's traditional to do certain specific rituals naked. Just FYI. It's not required. Just traditional. Utilize this knowledge for narrative potential... or don't. I'm not your boss.
Yeah, sometimes there's blood; your mileage may vary narratively. Most people don't go for the whole knife thing —you can get lancets at any drug store—but maybe your character is especially dumb or otherwise desperate. Palms and fingers hurt the most knife-wise; if your character knows what they're doing, it won't be their hands.
The keeping skulls around thing is real too, if legally and financially difficult to arrange in many cases. It's usually animal though. Human remains have a lot of laws in the states and, obviously, relatives want to keep their family close to their family — still, narratively, your mileage may vary.
The "White magic" and "Black magic" dichotomy is racialized. No, seriously. The things people demonize about dark magic— soul magic, necromancy, zombies, love/control spells, etc— are all really warped versions of Ancestor worship and other spiritual practices from African Traditional Religious beliefs. Well, the whole Zombie thing is actually a holdover from slavery and it's more about forcing ex-slaved peoples into performing more labor even after their death while White people are afraid of traditional Black spiritual resistance against colonial religious oppression— I'm going too deep into this, just trust me that if a dichotomy says that White is good and Black is bad, there's probably something hinky going on.
And, finally:
Ouija boards are sold at Barnes and Noble by Hasbro for $25, and a tarot deck can retail for as little as $20 from Spirit Halloween or Spencer's. No, they can't summon demons from the astral into your house. Can they talk to ghosts? Up to you; it's your story. Are cheap paper board and plastic planchette powerful enough to murder people, though...? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ My magic 8 ball says that the odds are unlikely.
Obviously, you can do whatever you want with your work— I'm not your dad and I can't stop you, but if you're the kind of person who's like, hey, maybe I do want to prune out accidental racial slurs from my vocabulary...hey! This list is for you! Halloween is a time to get spooky! Get scary! Get booped, even; still, if you want to have an underlying thread of what the occult looks like in practice, you might want to dust off a couple of mid Magic/Witchcraft/Spiritual/Occult books from your local library and flip through 'em for ideas. There's some fun stuff in there.
Like the sacred blowtorch ;)

They may have vivid spiritual experiences, such as encounters with spirit guides, profound dreams, or out-of-body experiences. This heightened sensitivity allows them to bridge the gap between the seen and unseen realms.
Unearthing Hidden Realities: These individuals possess an innate talent for unearthing, discovering hidden spiritual realities. They are not content with superficial answers but are relentless in their pursuit of uncovering the concealed aspects of their own consciousness and the collective unconscious. Their heightened sensitivity allows them to penetrate the veils of illusion and reach into the hidden chambers of the soul.
Fearlessness in the Face of Darkness: Sun in the 8th house individuals are unafraid to confront the darkness within themselves and in the world around them. Challenges (the bad)
Egoic Attachment to Spiritual Experiences: There is a risk that individuals with Sun in the 8th house may become egoically attached to their spiritual experiences. Overemphasis on Dark or Taboo Spiritual Practices: Due to their intense interest in hidden or transformative aspects of spirituality, they might be drawn to dark or taboo spiritual practices that can be harmful or exploitative. This can lead to negative spiritual experiences and a potential descent into destructive spiritual paths.
Obsession with Death and the Afterlife: While their sensitivity to the mysteries of life and death can be profound, it may also lead to an unhealthy preoccupation with mortality and the afterlife. This obsession can hinder their ability to live fully in the present moment and lead to anxiety or existential crises.
Manipulative Use of Spiritual Insight: Like Pluto in the 8th house, individuals with this placement may possess deep spiritual insight, but they could misuse this perception to manipulate others who are vulnerable or in search of spiritual guidance. This can lead to ethical dilemmas and harm to others' spiritual journeys.
Spiritual Arrogance: There's a potential for these individuals to develop spiritual arrogance, believing that their understanding of spiritual matters is superior to others. This can alienate them from genuine spiritual communities and create a sense of isolation.
Avoidance of Personal Shadow Work: Their sensitivity to the unconscious can lead to a temptation to bypass personal shadow work or unresolved psychological issues. They may use spiritual experiences as a means to escape facing their own inner challenges, hindering their spiritual evolution.
Challenges of the Shadow: While this placement grants incredible depth and spiritual insight, it also comes with challenges. The depths of the unconscious can be both enlightening and daunting, and individuals with Sun in the 8th house may grapple with their own inner demons and psychological complexities. Witchy hacks: The movement of your body.
You probably heard this phrase too many times, but it is important to keep your body moving not only to increase your physical health but to improve your mental health too. But there is more. The movement that our body can make can actually release energy, and it can give us a lot of boosts in many ways.
In spirituality, movement is often seen as a way to release, channel, and harmonize energy within the body. Different spiritual traditions and practices emphasize various types of movement to achieve these goals. Here are some ways energy is believed to be released through movement in spirituality:
1. Yoga
a. Asanas (Postures)
Energy Flow: Yoga postures are designed to open energy channels (nadis) and centers (chakras) in the body. This facilitates the free flow of prana, or life force, enhancing physical and spiritual well-being.
Grounding and Balance: Specific poses help ground the practitioner and balance the flow of energy, aligning the body with the earth and promoting inner stability.
b. Pranayama (Breath Control)
Breath and Movement Coordination: Coordinating breath with movement helps regulate and release energy, purifying the body and calming the mind.
2. Tai Chi and Qigong
Chi (Qi) Flow: These ancient Chinese practices focus on slow, deliberate movements combined with deep breathing to cultivate and balance chi, the body's vital energy.
Energy Circulation: Movements are designed to enhance the circulation of chi through the meridians, or energy pathways, removing blockages and promoting overall health.
3. Dance
a. Ecstatic Dance
Expression and Release: Ecstatic dance involves spontaneous, freeform movement that allows individuals to express emotions and release pent-up energy. It’s often accompanied by rhythmic music that guides the flow of energy.
Trance States: The repetitive nature of dance can induce trance states, facilitating a deeper connection with the spiritual self and the collective energy of the group.
b. Cultural and Ritual Dance
Ceremonial Movements: Many cultures incorporate dance into spiritual rituals to honor deities, celebrate life events, and connect with ancestors. These movements are often symbolic, representing the flow of spiritual energy.
4. Martial Arts
Energy Control: Martial arts like Aikido, Kung Fu, and Capoeira involve movements that cultivate and direct internal energy. Practitioners learn to harness this energy for physical strength, mental clarity, and spiritual growth.
Mind-Body Connection: The discipline and focus required in martial arts enhance the mind-body connection, aligning physical actions with spiritual intent.
5. Breathwork and Movement
Holotropic Breathwork: This practice combines intense breathing with movement to access altered states of consciousness and release stored emotional energy.
Rebirthing: Involves rhythmic breathing and movement to release traumas and blocked energy from the body, leading to spiritual healing and transformation.
6. Shamanic Practices
Drumming and Movement: Shamanic traditions often use rhythmic drumming and dance to enter trance states, journeying into spiritual realms to retrieve knowledge and healing.
Ritual Movements: Specific movements in shamanic rituals are designed to summon, direct, and release spiritual energy for healing and transformation.
7. Meditative Movement
Walking Meditation: This practice involves slow, deliberate steps coordinated with breathing, enhancing mindfulness and the flow of spiritual energy.
Dynamic Meditation: Developed by Osho, this form combines vigorous movement, including shaking and dancing, with periods of stillness to release suppressed emotions and awaken spiritual energy.
Summary
In spirituality, movement is a powerful tool for releasing, channeling, and harmonizing energy. Practices like yoga, tai chi, dance, martial arts, breathwork, and shamanic rituals use specific movements to enhance the flow of spiritual energy, promote healing, and achieve higher states of consciousness. These practices underscore the profound connection between physical movement and spiritual well-being.

The Sacred Path of Devotion: How Embracing the Role of a Cuckold Can Be a Higher Calling
Tumblr media
1. Recognize the Lover as an Instrument of Joy
Acknowledge the Lover's Role: Accept that the lover fulfills desires or needs that enhance your wife's happiness. His presence is a testament to your wife’s radiance and the Goddess’s blessings.
Example: If your wife expresses excitement about an evening with her lover, respond with genuine enthusiasm, saying, "I’m so happy you have this time to enjoy yourself."
Cultivate Thankfulness: Consciously frame the lover’s role as a gift to both your wife and your spiritual journey.
Example: Reflect privately or in a journal about how the lover enriches your wife's life and, through her joy, deepens your devotion.
2. Approach with Submissive Courtesy
Show Respect: Treat the lover with the utmost respect as someone who brings happiness to your wife.
Example: Greet him warmly and courteously when he arrives, perhaps offering to take his coat or make him a drink.
Be Non-Confrontational: Avoid any behavior that could be perceived as competitive.
Example: If the lover is taller, stronger, or more attractive, take pride in supporting their dynamic rather than envying it. Acknowledge his qualities: "She always speaks so highly of your charm and strength."
Practice Ritualized Deference: Small, thoughtful acts can affirm your humility and devotion.
Example: Offer to wash his car, shine his shoes, or prepare a meal while he spends time with your wife.
3. Express Gratitude Sincerely
Verbalize Appreciation: Make it clear that you are thankful for the lover's care and attention toward your wife.
Example: "Thank you for treating her so well. It means a lot to see her so happy and fulfilled."
Offer Gestures of Gratitude: Use small acts to show your appreciation.
Example: After a weekend together, clean up their shared space, do their laundry, or leave a thank-you note expressing your gratitude for his role in your wife’s happiness.
4. Embrace the Dynamic with Humility
Accept Your Limitations: Recognize that the lover provides unique qualities your wife enjoys, and view this as complementary rather than threatening.
Example: If your wife praises his physical attributes or dominance, affirm her happiness with phrases like, "I’m glad you have someone who makes you feel that way."
Celebrate Your Wife's Fulfillment: Her joy is your reward as a devotee.
Example: Prepare a romantic atmosphere for them, lighting candles or laying out her favorite lingerie, so she can fully enjoy her time with her lover.
5. Give Space When Needed
Know When to Step Back: Recognize the importance of privacy in their connection.
Example: If the lover visits your home, excuse yourself gracefully by running errands, staying in another room, or engaging in a quiet activity like meditation or reading.
Use This Time for Reflection: Dedicate your moments apart to deepening your devotion to the Goddess.
Example: While they are together, clean the house, prepare a post-visit meal, or engage in spiritual practices to honor the divine feminine.
6. Reinforce Your Devotion to the Goddess
Frame Your Actions Spiritually: See your service to your wife and her lover as an offering to the Goddess.
Example: If you feel challenged by the dynamic, recite affirmations or prayers focusing on humility, surrender, and gratitude.
Practice Selflessness: Shift your focus away from your own desires and toward serving your wife’s happiness.
Example: When you notice her glowing after time with her lover, compliment her, saying, "You look radiant. I can see how much joy he brings you."
7. Address Challenges with Grace
Overcome Jealousy: When feelings of envy arise, remind yourself of your role as a servant of her happiness and a devotee of the Goddess.
Example: Channel jealousy into acts of service, such as tidying the bedroom or preparing refreshments for them after their time together.
Communicate Openly: Ensure you remain in alignment with your wife’s wishes and expectations.
Example: Regularly ask her how you can better support her relationship with her lover. For example, "Is there anything I can do to make things easier or more enjoyable for you both?"
Tumblr media
Final Thoughts
By treating your wife’s lovers with respect, humility, and gratitude, you affirm your devotion to her happiness and the divine feminine. Specific acts of service, such as washing his car, preparing meals, or creating a welcoming environment, become sacred practices that deepen your spiritual connection and enhance the harmony in your shared life.

Hello, witchlings! Today we're diving into the topic of bath magic and how to incorporate this into a beginner's practice!
Tumblr media
🧼 What is Bath Magic?: Bath magic, also known as ritual bathing, is a sacred practice that harnesses the cleansing, healing, and rejuvenating properties of water to enhance our magical workings. By infusing our baths with intention, herbs, crystals, and other magical ingredients, we create a sacred space for self-care, spiritual exploration, and manifestation. You can do bath rituals in line with the timing of the moon. Full moon baths are very common, but they can be done at any point!
🌿 Rituals for Bath Magic:
Cleansing Ritual: Begin by cleansing your physical body with a regular bath or shower to wash away any negativity or energetic debris. As you bathe, visualize the water purifying and cleansing your energy field, leaving you feeling refreshed and renewed.
Setting Intentions: Before stepping into the bath, take a moment to set your intentions for the ritual. What do you hope to achieve or manifest? Focus your thoughts and energy on your desired outcome, infusing it with clarity and purpose.
Herbal Infusions: Add herbs, flowers, and botanicals to your bath water to enhance its magical properties. Lavender promotes relaxation and tranquility, rose petals symbolize love and self-care, and chamomile soothes the spirit and calms the mind. Choose herbs that resonate with your intentions and sprinkle them into the water or create a sachet to hang from the faucet.
Crystals: Incorporate crystals into your bath ritual to amplify its energy and support your intentions. Place crystals such as clear quartz for clarity, rose quartz for self-love, or amethyst for spiritual connection in the water or around the edge of the tub. Allow their energy to infuse the water, enveloping you in a cocoon of healing and protection.
Visualization and Meditation: As you soak in the bath, close your eyes and visualize yourself surrounded by a radiant sphere of light. Envision your intentions manifesting as if they were already a reality, feeling gratitude and joy for their fulfillment. You can also practice meditation, deep breathing, or visualization techniques to deepen your connection to the divine and align with your higher self.
Sigils: Sigils enhance bath magic by imbuing intentions with energy. Create a sigil, charge it with intention, and incorporate it into the bath ritual. I normally do this by drawing the sigil in soap or lotion on myself or in the bath, drawing it on myself with a pen, or drawing it with my finger. Visualize its energy merging with the bathwater, allowing its power to amplify the magic. Release the sigil's energy into the universe, trusting in its ability to manifest desires. I do this by washing the soap or lotion, washing off the pen, or washing over where I marked the sigil with my finger. Bath rituals become more potent and transformative with sigils.
Affirmations: Repeat affirmations that resonate with your intentions as you bathe, allowing their positive vibrations to permeate your consciousness and uplift your spirit. You can create your own affirmations or choose ones that resonate with your goals and desires.
Closing the Ritual: When you feel ready, slowly emerge from the bath and pat yourself dry with a clean towel. Take a moment to express gratitude for the experience and release any lingering thoughts or emotions that no longer serve you.
Whether bathing for relaxation, purification, or spiritual growth, bath magic offers a simple yet powerful way to connect with the elements and manifest your intentions. So draw yourself a magical bath, sink into the soothing waters, and let the magic of bath magic wash over you!

Mind Over Matter 🛸
Tumblr media
Meditation
Magic exists all around us but its intrinsic link to life, makes it unidentifiable . The magic we seek externally is unrecognizable because we struggle to heed it internally. Life neither screams nor shouts, it whispers in the wind, sings as the sea, hums with the bugs. When it is silent you can feel the slightest shift. Silence brings awareness to all that is. The skill of self-mastery and inner knowing is a complex and nuanced study. The fractals of life itself reside within us. In silence, we can attune to our slow song and engage in sensual play with life.
Meditation gives us a peek into the vast cosmos of our psyche. Once you have tapped into this tantalizing potentiality it’ll keep you coming back for more drops of its sweet nectar. When we first begin the practice of stillness it may prove difficult since it’s not something we are adept to. First, know that the process is infinite; like the symbol [of infinity], our lives, nay our souls, are engaged in a never ending dance. We learn what we must, how, and when we must. Do not be discouraged by the challenge of a new venture. Engage with a playful curiosity; allow yourself to be swept up like an equestrian allowing its stead to lead.
Tumblr media
There are 3 practices that are ideal for beginners; simple enough to understand powerful enough to transform. It is okay if our minds wander this is part of the initial experience.
The first is breath work. We find ourselves in a comfortable position, resting our eyes, we take the 3 deepest inhales and exhales we have all day allowing ourselves to relax. Returning to our normal breathing we feel the energy within us with each breath. Black swelling from the soles of our feet or pelvic bone up to the top of our head as we inhale; and white flushing back down to our feet with every exhale. Sense your essence climbing up your spine, filling your brain, reaching for something higher. Here we are engaging and syncing with our heart and blood. As we inhale we are consuming our aura or spirit, it cleanses us reigniting our vitality.
The second practice is intentional thinking or listening. After we fall into rhythmic synchronicity our body will naturally continue energetic activity and focus will eventually shift to our mind. Allow yourself to think and observe. Memories will resurface, questions, tasks all things that go on will evoke a response within us. Be aware of how certain thoughts make you feel and question why they illicit such reactions. Our minds answer not only with words but flashbacks, past possessions forgotten. Pay attention to how your brain answers you; we may not understand immediately but if it’s within our minds eye the puzzle will fall together in due time. This ritual encourages us to see our contribution to our reality through self reflection. It also aligns us with our personal passwords, or synchronicities, with the Divine.
The third practice is akin to prayer. Here in our deep state of consciousness we are the closest we will come to the subconscious. As we listen to our thoughts we set intentions. This is a time to discover who we are and how to become to achieve passion in our purpose. We may ask and we may order. Keep it fairly broad; if we ask for something specific it may not turn out how we’d like.
“…When you get to this point, it is not material desire that activates awareness, but the hearts desire to live in the light of truth.”. [Living with a Feather Heart, Jennifer Sodini]
“Teach me how to meditate. Show me how to love myself. Please bless me with knowledge and wisdom of my purpose.” Know that in asking for these things we are given opportunities to identify this in reality. This is why awareness is an essential element. You can also engage in affirmations. “I am lovable. I am disciplined. I am thoughtful and curious about life.”

Through meditation we activate and connect with our life force energy; the magic that exists as space. We become one with our true nucleus and for a moment can touch this until it becomes natural to us like breathing. Meditation is the highest form of love and commitment you can show yourself. It gifts you the opportunity to see, hear, know, and love yourself. Be with yourself and you will discover something priceless within all. Question everything. Allow everything to fall away and just be.
